complaints about a venue coordinator. Throughout the process, friends expressed skepticism that a venue coordinator would put in this much work and encouraged me to hire an outside coordinator. Thank goodness we didn’t because we really hit the jackpot with Megan and her team. They not only told us that they could handle what we wanted but they actually delivered! My husband and I reached out to Megan for a venue tour and she made time for us to see it same-day. The venue is simply gorgeous! There is tons of green space for an outdoor wedding or a beautiful indoor space in case you prefer that or want to make sure that you have a weather plan. Due to the weather, we ended up having our wedding indoors and could not have been happier with how it all came together. Megan made sure we were taken care of, not only on the day of our wedding, but throughout the whole entire process. We cannot thank her enough for how responsive she was via email and text. Any question we had; she was on top of. The venue has tons of décor to use, gold Chiavari chairs, a beautiful bridal suite, a golf simulator for the guys to enjoy while the girls are getting ready, cottages for your crew to stay on site if you so choose, and a honeymoon suite option. Our food/drink tasting was such a fun experience and the food was delicious. We had so many different types of foods to choose from and Megan helped us put together a diverse menu – something for everyone to enjoy. On the day of, I forgot to bring orange juice for mimosas and socks for the shoes I was changing in to for the reception. Megan worked her magic and got me both items! (Who else can say that about their coordinator??) I am eternally grateful for her kindness, helpfulness, and being such a positive presence. I never felt stressed on the day of the wedding because I knew I could get Megan and she would handle it. The morning after the wedding, we arrived to the venue with our cars packed up. There was absolutely no set up or clean up on our part. It truly was a dream come true! Megan still recognizes us and takes some time to catch up, even with her crazy busy schedule, when we attend events at Independence – which we love! If you’re thinking about getting married at Independence, you won’t regret it!

Megan is so good at what she does and such valuable asset to Independence. She is responsive, kind, resourceful, accommodating, and extremely hardworking. She helped me throughout the entire wedding planning process and the day of I was able to relax and not worry about a single thing. This is the type of place and people that go above and beyond. I had an allergic reaction to eye patches I used the morning of my wedding. Before I could even panic Megan had a doctor on the phone instructing me on what to do and a co-worker at CVS getting me medication. I could rave about Megan for days. The venue itself was beautiful, the food was great, the bartenders were awesome. I couldn't of asked for a better day! Thank you Indolence and your entire team.
