If I could give Tanya and The Event Group International 100 stars, I would. We knew we wanted an outdoor wedding in an open field with elegant tents, incredible music, amazing food...
, and a true “Nashville under the stars” atmosphere — but we had absolutely NO idea how to pull something like that off. What Tanya created honestly felt like something out of a movie.From the very beginning, she understood our vision better than we did ourselves. She transformed a simple open field into a full luxury wedding experience. The sailcloth tents glowing at sunset, the lighting, the flowers, the lounge areas, the live music, the dance floor, the food stations… every single detail felt intentional and magical.
What impressed me most was how calm and in control Tanya and her team were the entire time. Outdoor weddings are complicated — weather, power, rentals, catering logistics, flooring, transportation — and we never once felt stressed because they handled EVERYTHING behind the scenes flawlessly.
Our guests are STILL talking about the wedding. People genuinely thought it looked like a celebrity wedding or something out of a magazine. The food was unbelievable, the music kept everyone dancing all night, and the entire event somehow felt both incredibly elegant and deeply personal at the same time.
Tanya is not just a wedding planner — she is a producer, designer, problem solver, and honestly a magician. Hiring The Event Group International was hands down the best decision we made during the entire planning process.

We live in Romania and had considered several local planners, but none came close to the professionalism, creativity, and warmth Tanya radiated from day one. She didn’t just plan our wedding — she crafted an unforgettable experience that felt like the heart of Bavaria and the soul of romance combined.
The celebration took place in a rustic 19th-century Bavarian barn just outside Munich, surrounded by rolling green hills and golden fields. Tanya transformed the space into a magical blend of authentic Oktoberfest charm and refined European elegance — long wooden tables lined with blue-and-white linens, overflowing steins of local beer, hanging hops garlands, twinkle lights draped from the rafters, and hundreds of candles glowing through glass lanterns. Every corner of the venue told a story — one that felt handcrafted for us.

Then we found Tanya Wilbon and The Event Group International — total lifesavers! From our very first call, Tanya was like, “Relax, I’ve got you,” and she really did. She took our little love story and turned it into the most perfect wedding weekend ever — planning everything from the venue, décor, vendors, guest rooms, travel logistics, even down to our food choices. We actually got to enjoy the process instead of stressing 24/7 (which honestly felt like a miracle).

I had gone to my best friend’s wedding in Washington, D.C., and it was hands down the most incredible wedding I had ever seen. Tanya was behind it all, and from that moment I said to myself, “If I ever get married, I need her.”
Fast forward to our wedding day at the Gaylord Palms in Kissimmee—this venue is already amazing on its own, but when Tanya and her team showed up, they completely transformed it. They created what I can only describe as Magic in Black and White. It felt like stepping into a dream, like I was living in the kind of wedding you only see in movies. From the flowers to the lighting to the little details that I never would’ve thought of myself, everything was beyond perfect.

Overall, we had a great experience working with our wedding planner, Tanya. She was truly amazing, attentive, organized, and an absolute pleasure to work with from start to finish....
Her warm, welcoming personality instantly put us at ease, and we would hire her again.
We’re giving 4 stars instead of 5 because there were a few areas that could have been improved. We were told we’d have access to Aisle Planner, a tool meant to help us stay organized, but it wasn’t set up properly for us to use. Her team also took photos/videos during the wedding day, for social media, but a quick heads-up beforehand would have been appreciated. Finally, at the end of the reception, clearer communication to our family and friends about whether items could be left overnight at the venue would have helped avoid confusion, unnecessary packing, and some misplaced items.
That said, her team on the wedding day was very helpful and attentive. Tanya’s dedication and personal attention truly made our wedding day special, and we are grateful for all her hard work. We really appreciated the support!

We decided—on a whim—that we wanted to get married in the middle of a cow field in nowhere Kentucky just because we liked t...
he scenery. No venue, no infrastructure, no cell service... just wide open fields, mooing neighbors, and a wild idea. We knew it was crazy. But then we found Tanya Wilbon and The Event Group International, and everything changed.
Somehow, Tanya turned a literal pasture into a full-blown, jaw-dropping wedding experience. We're talking luxury tents that looked like they belonged in a magazine spread, perfectly placed lighting that made everything feel cinematic, a full sound system (in the middle of a field?!), generators, staging, coordinated staff, caterers, rentals, bathrooms, and things we didn’t even know we needed.
But it didn’t stop there. The TEGI team arranged lodging accommodations for all our guests across the nearest towns, handled transportation, and even organized local shuttles using refurbished old trucks that looked straight out of a movie. Watching our guests pull up to this remote field in beautifully restored vintage vehicles was just... unbelievable. It set the tone for something truly special.
We don’t know how they did it—seriously, we still don’t understand how any of it was possible—but every single detail was flawless. Guests were blown away. The food was phenomenal, the music was spot-on, the atmosphere was pure magic. Tanya managed every logistic like a master conductor and made it all look effortless.
If you want a wedding that defies the limits of what’s “reasonable,” hire Tanya Wilbon. She will pull it off—with grace, style, and a calm you can’t put a price on. We are forever grateful.

Fez and the rest of the TEGI team were amazing for executing on all the details. They were all easily accessible and responded quickly, and generally made the big weekend as low-stress as possible for us and our families. We’d recommend them in a heartbeat to anyone looking for big event planning help.
Our wedding was pretty involved – there were 300 guests, multiple events over two days, and about 8 vendors providing different services. Coordinating everything would have been overwhelming without TEGI’s expertise and support. Carrie and Fez handled all of the vendor logistics and kept things running smoothly and on schedule, which saved us a ton of mental effort. They provided a lot of general advice, especially about how to arrange the reception, and their collective experience really made a difference. We used a WhatsApp group chat to communicate efficiently and get quick answers to last-minute questions.
We got a bunch of compliments saying that our events went really smoothly, and we can thank TEGI for that!

Dealing with our large, lovely, and opinionated families, she tirelessly fielded input day and night for months leading up to the big day, always maintaining her composure. Instead of dismissing suggestions, she validated each one and helped us incorporate them where fitting.
