From small hiccups (like, the cake delivery van being rear-ended just before reaching our site) to bigger hurdles (like, NYC inspectors shutting down a site just weeks before the event, or a pandemic requiring constant re-thinking of every aspect of a party)… she handles it all; it’s astounding. (3) As importantly, Melisa really listens to how our daughter and we describe hopes for the day, thinks about what we’re “really” saying (even if we don’t realize), and develops a vision that realizes all of that with so much more creativity than we could possibly bring to this ourselves. She’s essential; having her involved allow us to enjoy the day and the time leading up to it, without the headaches and hassles, with the confidence that any unexpected trouble will be resolved, and with memories of an event that will last a lifetime.
