The Everly Event Space

The second my husband walked in to The Everly he said "yup this is our venue" - We loved the lights, set up, bar, green wall and could invision it being a great space for our family and friends! Ana was such a pleasure to work with and helped make our vision come to life the day of! Would recommend the Everly 100%!

This venue is beautiful, organized and SO wedding friendly! I picked The Everly as our venue because I liked their process of flipping the ceremony to the reception and their layout was perfect for our guest count. They go above and beyond by providing linens and giving amazing vendor recommendations! I worked with Ana and she was so easy to communicate with!

Having our wedding in Kansas City was important to us; it's where I grew up and where the majority of the guests lived. Of the five venues we toured, The Everly stood out with its romantic string lights and exposed brick that appealed to our more modern/industrial venue tastes. We could truly envision our entire day (ceremony and celebration) taking place there, and it didn’t disappoint! During our initial Everly tour, Ana, the venue coordinator, made a wonderful impression. She provided my fiancé and I with a detailed venue brochure and two different floor plans tailored to our 150-person guest list, which helped us envision our reception. Ana was extremely kind, professional, and answered all follow-up questions via email - can we add on the ceremony, what are your photographer recommendations, can we add additional getting-ready time, etc. The pricing transparency and breakdown of each included element was also appreciated. The included items at The Everly, ability to flip the space from ceremony to reception, and available wedding dates best aligned with what we were looking for! During our venue pre-wedding walk-through, Ana smoothly guided us through every detail - from linen colors to final floor plan layouts (even providing digital mock-ups). My mom also wanted to attend the walk-through which wasn’t an issue, and she was happy with both the space and Ana’s ability to answer any questions she had. Overall, email communication throughout the planning process with Ana was always prompt and consistent. This helped me feel confident that our wedding day would go smoothly. On the wedding day, the space was set-up when we arrived as promised. We were able to bring in breakfast and lunch for the bridal party. The bridal suite was spacious enough for myself, seven bridesmaids, and both moms, and the built-in cubbies for personal items were useful. The on-site steamer was also a life-saver, especially with some bridesmaids coming in from out of town. The ceremony-to-reception room flip went smoothly from what I was told. During cocktail hour, guests mingled in the designated area while The Everly staff transitioned the space - cocktail hour was a bit cozier than other cocktail spaces at past weddings we’ve attended, but it encouraged conversation and connection amongst the guests. We were so happy with the final look of our reception space, and our guests loved the venue as well. I also heard from guests that The Everly staff were wonderful and helpful while blending into the background of the wedding day very well. The Everly also handled our alcohol package. We appreciated the selection of beer, wine, and spirits in each package. Ana, the venue coordinator, even offered to print our final bar menu and display it in clear stands, which was a thoughtful touch since it takes one thing off a planning to-do list. The bartenders were efficient and the mixed drinks were well made - nothing watered down, which our guests noticed. A few things to note before booking: There isn’t a designated groomsmen getting-ready space on site. The bridal suite doesn’t have a connected bathroom, so keep that in mind if you’re not planning a first look and want to minimize movement before the ceremony. All in all, we couldn’t be happier that we chose The Everly. It provided the perfect backdrop for a day that truly felt magical, and we wholeheartedly recommend it to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-managed wedding venue in Kansas City!

We had the most incredible experience at The Everly! From the moment we first toured the space, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding. This is such a beautiful venue where you don't even have to decorate too much because of how stunning the space naturally is! Ana, the venue manager, is the sweetest woman ever and so prompt in answering any questions you may have. She let us com tour the space multiple times with multiple different people! Their team is so professional and our wedding day and rehearsal went completely smooth. I couldn't have asked for anything better!

We had the perfect wedding at the Everly! Ana, their event manager was so helpful and kind throughout the whole experience, answering all of our questions in a timely manner and supporting us through every step! The space itself is gorgeous, we did minimal decorating of our own because the string lights and curtains already made the space beautiful! They were also super flexible in regards to the vendors we used and helped us make the day exactly how we wanted it to be. 100% 10/10 recommend the Everly

The Everly Event Space is such a wonderful venue to have a wedding ceremony and reception! It's right in the heart of KCMO close to hotels and transportation, which was a big factor for us choosing a venue. We live in Seattle, and having to tour via video call was so easy with The Everly. We had toured one other venue, but as soon as our Everly tour was over, we knew we wanted to book them immediately! Ana was our point of contact and she was such a delight to work with. We love how transparent they are with their pricing breakdown. The space itself is perfect for an industrial look with minimal need for decor, which is what we were going for! It was the perfect size for the number of people we had (~165). The staff were super nice and very accommodating. Their room flip from ceremony to reception was seamless. And when everything was done, follow-up communication was so timely! If you're hesitating to book The Everly for your event, this is your sign to do it!

We recently just got married at the Everly and this was the best venue! The space is magical and just beautiful, We LOVED the venue manager Ana, she made our venue planning so easy and was amazing at communication! Couldn't recommend the Everly enough!

If you are reading this review and trying to decide on a wedding reception place definitely check out The Everly. My reception at The Everly was absolutely beautiful! From the bridal room, to the twinkly lights, and the bar! It was perfect! Also, Ana was probably one of my favorite people to work with. She made the process so easy for me and I knew I could trust her!

It was an absolute dream to have our wedding/reception at the Everly! After searching for a perfect venue I just wasn’t finding anything I absolutely loved until I came across the Everly! I just knew it was perfect for our wedding! Ana (the Everly’s venue manager) was absolutely amazing to work with. She always responded to my questions so quickly & was just a great person to get to work with throughout the wedding process! Everything about our wedding was absolutely perfect & we got so many compliments on how great our day was at the Everly. I loved that the Everly has a lot of charm on its own & we were able to keep our decor minimal! I thought all of their alcohol packages were super reasonable and loved the beverage options (alcoholic and NA)! We had our ceremony there as well and the room flip was super seamless and I felt like it happened very quickly! We also had an ice cream truck for dessert and they pulled right up in front of the Everly for our guests to go out and get ice cream! Overall, we absolutely loved having our wedding at the Everly & all of our guests did as well! I 110% recommend the Everly to any couples looking for an amazing venue that is very reasonably priced!!

Best venue ever. So dreamy and whimsical!! Absolutely the venue of our dreams. Not to mention the staff is SO kind and helpful! They made everything so easy for us. We opted to use The Everly’s in-house day coordinator, Ana. We can’t say enough good things about her!! She was AWESOME! She made sure every vendor was on time and knew where to go and what to do the day of, she made a realistic timeline for our day of and helped us stick to it which really took so much stress off us. She also flipped the room after the ceremony into our reception space which went super quick. Finally they packed everything up after the wedding which was a huge life saver — we just picked up the next day, quick and painless. Seriously can’t thank this venue and team enough for the wedding of my dreams. PLUS it’s RIGHT in the cross roads!! So we walked to a few bars after the reception :) 10/10 would book again

First of all, we were fortunate to have had the opportunity to see The Everly in action at our friends' wedding.... so we knew it was a beautiful space already, but the addition of the IMMACULATE bar?! It made that space even MORE beautiful! BUT! What really sold us was their Venue Manager, Ana. For our entire wedding-planning process, we stressed the importance of having the right vibe with our vendors. When we met Ana, SHE is what sold us on The Everly. She is SO lovable and passionate. We looked forward to every single meeting we had with her and in between the meetings, she was so responsive and quick, and it always put our minds at ease. Every time we left The Everly, we felt seen, heard, and valued. And I mean that. Every. Single. Time. And then on the day of?! We were SO excited to see her (we didn't know she was going to be there by the time we got there but we was hoping she was!) and she still had the same passion and excitement the very first day we met her. We are so grateful for our experience with Ana and The Everly. If a beautiful space and the right vibes are what you're looking for, LOOK NO FURTHER. The Everly is IT!

I do not have enough words to express how amazing our entire experience with The Everly was!! We absolutely loved working with the entire staff, they communicated timely and efficiently with us which was a huge plus. They also went above and beyond making sure we had everything we wanted for our reception (we had some odd table numbers and they were very accommodating). 10/10 would recommend The Everly, their numerous nominations for top venue are well deserved!

Chosing The Everly for our wedding space was the best decision I made. Ana, the venue coordinator, is the absolute sweetest. Communication was never an issue, any question was answered in a timely manner. The venue itself is beautiful, espically with the new bar and bridal suite. We just loved it all.

From the second we walked into The Everly for our tour, we knew we HAD to have our wedding there! The exposed brick, the lights and curtains to flip the space, the brand new bridal suite and bar, everything was just perfect! We booked the same day. From that day on, Ana (the venue coordinator) was the BEST resource. She answered every email within that same day, answered every question I had, and helped us every step of the way. She truly was incredible the whole process. On wedding day, the venue was set up exactly how we envisioned, with champagne waiting for us in the bridal suite. The bar staff, Ana, literally everyone was so kind, helpful, and made sure we had the best day. They allowed us to leave decor there to pick up later the next week so we were not transporting boxes of candles and things home. We are still getting compliments on how beautiful the space is. I wish we could get married again and again to be able to continue to work with The Everly!

We are so glad we made the decision to book The Everly as our wedding venue. The space is stunning, in a great location with plenty of natural light. The newly remodeled bar and bridal suite have only elevated and modernized the space even further, which we loved! Our wedding was on the smaller side (50-60 guests) and together we were able to design a layout that felt intimate, not empty. Ana was so helpful as our venue coordinator every step of the way. It was also so nice to have the bar, tables, chairs and linens all taken care of through the venue as opposed to renting or having to hire out ourselves. You will not regret choosing The Everly as your wedding venue!

Ana was an exceptional coordinator who constantly went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! She answered any question I had, no matter how many, and helped me find ways to bring the vision I had for our wedding to life. I wouldn’t have wanted our day to go any different, and I know that has a lot to do with how Ana ran things and the constant communication she had with me and the vendors. Alongside this, the Everly is a gorgeous venue and all of my guests still are telling me how much they loved it. I felt like I was taken care of from the day we booked 2 years ago, and Robin also went above and beyond to help answer questions I had and make sure I was feeling as little stress as possible leading up to our day. I am so thankful that we had our wedding at the Everly and Ana as our coordinator. If you’re thinking about booking them, do it! You won’t regret it.

We had our daughters wedding reception At The Everly Event Space. It is a beautiful space and we received lots of compliments from guests. The staff is wonderful and more than willing to help make your special day perfect.

Absolutely loved the Everly, from our walkthrough to our wedding day they were amazing to work with. I will give a special shout out to Ana who was our venue coordinator. She answered every question we had, gave suggestions, and helped make our day perfect!

We got married at the The Everly about 3 weeks ago and absolutely everything about it was PERFECT. The atmosphere, the staff, the general setting -- I have no complaints at all. The recent cosmetic renovations have been absolutely wonderful and added so much value and character to the venue. We ended up having a little under 200 guests and it never felt crowded or cramped. The team at the Everly was prompt getting back to me if I had any questions during the planning process and always so friendly and helpful! My husband and I can't stop raving about the team/the venue -- if you're thinking about it, I highly encourage you to check them out!

We toured several venues and we knew right when we walked into The Everly that we wanted to get married there. I even ended up cancelling our remaining venue visits! The space is beautiful with an industrial loft feel, the greenery wall and string lights with the tall ceilings were our favorite! Being able to walk out of the newly remodeled bridal suite behind beautiful big doors made for amazing photos and a grand entrance down the aisle. The Everly staff were amazing to work with and super helpful answering all of the questions we had. They were very responsive leading up to our wedding day and the final walkthrough took a lot of stress out of the process. I HIGHLY recommend using their day of coordinator, Ana, to help run your day. She was there for our rehearsal to help us organize the ceremony. She contacted all of our wedding vendors before the wedding day to coordinate when they would be there. She set up all of our decorations exactly how I wanted them with very little direction and made everything so stress free the day of. She packed up everything for us after the wedding so all we had to do was put them in our car! One of our rental vendors even mentioned that she never gets back the items in this good of shape! I could go on and on about all the amazing things she did and all with the best smile on her face! There seriously isn't one thing I would change about our wedding day and The Everly was a huge part of that. 1000/10 would recommend!!

The venue was beautiful! It was recently renovated and we could not possibly have loved the renovations more! And the staff went above and beyond to make our special day absolutely perfect!

The Everly itself is a beautiful venue, but Ana the venue coordinator, is such an incredible human and is truly willing to do anything to make your day feel special. They were easy and fast to communicate with, the bar package is extremely flexible and they even ordered a special mixer just for me, the bride. On the day of the bartenders were kind and were able to serve drinks quickly. The flip was the easy and even faster than Ana had originally said it would take! The Everly made our wedding day perfect and we will forever be grateful!

The Everly. WOW. I cannot recommend this venue enough. When we were looking for venues, The Everly checked off every single box I had. It has the most gorgeous high ceilings and lighting. They were great to work with. Ana is amazing and answered all our questions and helped so much. They worked great with all of our vendors and made us feel so special on our big day. I will cherish this venue forever!

The Everly was the perfect space to host our wedding. They took care of everything, and more. The staff was so helpful and friendly. The space is stunning (they can flip the room in 30 minuets and it is amazing). Over half of our guests were from out of town, and they made it so easy to help our gests with parking, and anything else they needed. The bartenders are awesome, They made great drinks and were in such high spirits all night long. Ana, the event coordinator, she is incredible. She was so helpful leading up to the wedding, and was beyond what I could have ever hoped for the day of. We had a bit of an issue with a vendor and she was so cool, calm, and collected. She made us feel so special. I would pick The Everly over and over again.
