The Farm

Choosing to have our wedding ceremony and reception at The Farm was the best choice that we made. I looked around the Cincinnati area and The Farm was the best value I could find so when we wanted to get more info about it they invited us out to their Tuesday or Thursday dinner buffet complimentary. Dan sat down with us and went over all of the info and showed us around and was so informative and helpful. We chose our date and booked almost immediately. We knew we were not going to find a nicer facility with any nicer people at such a great value!! Throughout the planning process they were so helpful in answering my questions, allowing us to come over and measure things for decorations on multiple occasions, and they had us out for another complimentary dinner to go over some last minute details. They allowed us to rent out part of their second party room since we were expecting 250 guests and offered to open up the second buffet line too for a very reasonable price. They also tried to keep our main room open the night before the wedding so that we could come in and decorate, which enabled us to come in at noon on Friday and decorate all afternoon to get it looking just how I had dreamed. They had an event that night in the other room so they set up the remainder of our centerpieces in the other room and fixed some things that had fallen for us on the day of the wedding which was so helpful. Dan and Donna specifically went out of their way to help make our day perfect and it definitely was. Everything ran so smoothly and we had no issues whatsoever. They turned the coat room into a getting ready area for my bridal party and I and they even had a backdrop in there which allowed us to take some nice pics with family and friends prior to the wedding starting. For the wedding ceremony they had a beautiful archway that we got to use free of charge and a curtain backdrop to cover up the DJ that made for some great pics. They also have a bubble machine that they turned on periodically throughout the night for our first dance, the bridal party dance, etc which covered the dance floor in bubbles; Everyone loved it, especially the kids! The food was so delicious!! We have had people raving about how great the food was, how beautiful the place was and how nice the people were. Our package price included all of the people working including the bar tenders, greeters, food servers, etc., the food, draft beer, 2 bottles of champagne for the bridal party toast and the room. We did an open bar and they just kept a tab that we paid for at the end of the night. If you are looking for a great place to have your wedding reception or any kind of big event that has great food and friendly people for a good price then look no further!!! They did an amazing job with our wedding and I'm sure they would do the same for you!!!

We wanted to hold a reception for extended family and friends after our destination wedding, and since we had our ceremony in a barn, we thought The Farm would be appropriate. And we were totally right! The atmosphere of the space was perfect -- laid back and casual, but still really nice. The food was delicious and the staff courteous. It was the perfect way to celebrate our marriage.

We chose The Farm as our wedding venue because my wife is from the west side so we knew the reception would be there. We looked at other venues for the ceremony but there weren't a lot of close options and we felt that with The Farm we had a place where we could come back to in the future and remember our special day. Dan & Donna were both extremely helpful with working out all the details and making sure we had everything we needed leading up to the wedding. The day of, everyone at the Farm was just great. We both had decorating to do but wanted to wait until the ceremony to see each other. The staff made sure that we were both clear of one another and gave us places to hide out in the moments before the wedding began. The food at the reception was all hot and freshly made and is the thing that most guests talked to us about after. The Farm has the best fried chicken around and we're still hearing about how good it was 6mths later. The cost of everything was very reasonable, far less than what other places were charging just for use of a room, and included the food, 2 bottles of champagne for the wedding party and draft beer for the guests. There was also a bubble machine that was turned on for a few of the special moments which was a nice touch. It was definitely worth more than we paid for it. Overall, I highly recommend The Farm to anyone looking to get married on the west side. We really could not have asked for a better experience.

If there is one thing that went really well for my wedding it was the total service I received at The Farm. This place was the one of the brightest highlights in my whole wedding experience. I will forever be grateful to them. And I will always recommend them to everyone and anyone!

This place was awesome!!! Easily the BEST value on the West Side. They let us come in to taste the food and check out the rooms when we called for quotes (I had been there before by my fiance had not). They also made planning super easy and low stress for me. We could even drop off our centerpieces and favors (made both myself) a few days before and they set them all out and lit the candles for us so we didn't have to worry the day of. The farm also had great food, a fun atmosphere and NO hidden fees.

I absolutely loved the ambiance of The Farm; my husband actually fell in love with it first, which sealed the deal for us. The room decor, the lighting and especially the bar...those are what drew us. My husband LOVED the bar.;I wouldn't 'warn' about anything; it's more of pro's and con's. If a bride wants her own bathroom/ lounge then the Farm is not for her. That's the only thing I can think of.
