Getting married is one of the most important choices of your life and we are glad we chose to do it at the Farmhouse. There is no other place we’d want to play a central part of our wedding day. We knew the Farmhouse was special the moment we saw the gold plated mirrors covering the walls in the main reception area! From that moment on, it was clear the Farmhouse and their staff pay attention to detail and are incredible at creating special days and little moments for the couples they work with. We worked with Anna and were greeted with kindness, excitement, and openness to executing our ideas and aesthetics. Anna played a huge role in keeping our spirits high and making it an overall smooth and wonderful planning process. WE LOVED the space: outdoor, indoor, and separate rooms to break up the venue space was wonderful. It was much more intimate and exciting than some of the other venues we have been to that tend to only include one big room. We were happy to be able to float around and dance with our loved ones inside on the dance floor, chat with people near their tables or the various stations, go to one of two bars, or hangout on the deck or in the grass. We saw that a lot of the kids gravitated to playing outside with the games, leaving the party space to the adults. Some of the older individuals floated into the smaller rooms at times. The deck area was loved by all who needed to take a breath or cool off. We highly recommend this venue because it is great in that it gives something for all types of guests to do whether that be drinking, dancing, lounging, playing games, etc. The food was wonderful from our perspective. We asked some of the haters in our life what they thought out of curiosity and they all also loved the food. The Farmhouse did a great job at coordinating with all of our vendors, ensuring we were all in the same area. Our guests complimented the outdoor space, greenery, staff kindness, and experience. The Farmhouse was exactly what my husband and I envisioned for our big day! It is intimate with the most charming decor. The grounds and the inside of the venue are so beautiful and timeless. Anna was our coordinator and we wouldn’t of wanted it any other way, she was so professional and helpful, she was so prompt with her responses with all my various questions I had leading up to the big day she truly brought our vision to life. The staff also were so friendly and provided the best service the day of. We did the buffet style dinner and the food was phenomenal! And the drinks and bar service exceeded our expectations! We truly had the most perfect day and it was all thanks to the Farmhouse!!

Absolutely loved our reception at the Farmhouse this past May. The venue is beautiful and they made the day run so smoothly. They were a huge help during the planning process and handled all of our questions so well. And the food was absolutely incredible. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful wedding at the Farmhouse! Anna was prompt and professional in our communications from the moment we contacted her months ago all the way through the wedding day itself. We've received lots of compliments from our guests on the food, the atmosphere & event space, and the attentiveness of the staff. And we couldn't agree more with that! They were really helpful start to finish with the setup, during the event, and afterwards! There's too many things to mention but just some things that come to mind: bringing us food while we did our rounds with guests; dealing with little kerfluffles; checking in with us throughout the event; and handling things in general while keeping us informed. Additionally, we had several guests with some specific dietary restrictions, and not only did the Farmhouse handle that for us, but we even heard from some of our guests that they've never encountered a place so organized and well prepared to handle their specific needs (without them having to call and explain things again). All around we had a wonderful day and Anna & her staff at the Farmhouse were a big part in making that happen!

The Farmhouse is fantastic! The food, beverages, ceremony space outside, and inside room were beautiful and put together so nicely. The staff is phenomenal- going above and beyond what I had expected!! Laura was our coordinator- she wrangled children, old people and make sure me and my husband had everything we needed. My anxiety went out the window once I got their and realized everything was handled and perfect!!

We just had our wedding at The Farmhouse this past weekend and it was so much more than we ever dreamed of. Everything went so smoothly and the staff was helpful with every detail! Was always available to answer any questions we had and made the planning process so easy! We planned for an outside wedding but the weather kept us inside and honestly I still wouldn’t change a thing. The food was so delicious! Every moment was so special and perfect and we were so happy that we chose The Farmhouse!!

Our wedding was PERFECT all thanks to the amazing staff at The Farmhouse. From the day that we booked it, the staff was super attentive and answered all of our questions. Anna was our day-of-coordinator, she was so sweet and helped to make all of our wedding dreams come true. It's so amazing that The Farmhouse works with other vendors so that it really feels like a one stop shop, which helps to make things a little less stressful. And the food!! My guests are still raving about how great everything was! Overall, there is not a thing I would change about my wedding day, all thanks to Anna and the amazing staff. Me and my husband got married at The Farmhouse this past weekend and it was amazing. I fell in love with the cozy charm and beautiful landscape the minute I stepped foot at The Farmhouse. Anna was our coordinator and she made the planning process as well as the wedding day seamless. Whenever I had any questions, Anna was there to guide me. The food was amazing as well, we highly recommend the surf and turf and the bacon wrapped scallops! Our guests have been raving about the food since the wedding day. Not to mention that the staff was friendly and attentive. They knew everyone’s drink orders by the end of the night and did it all with a smile on their face. The Farmhouse is a hidden gem and they turned our dream wedding into reality. Thank you so much to Anna and the rest of The Farmhouse staff, you guys are awesome!

Booking The Farmhouse for our venue was the best decision we made in our planning process. While finding and booking a venue can be one of the most stressful parts of planning a wedding, the attentive and professional staff at The Farmhouse will make planning not only easy but ENJOYABLE! From touring the venue during an open house, to attending the tasting event, to the day itself, this venue exceeded our expectations at every turn. Laura, our planner, was communicative and professional throughout the process. She answered every one of our questions and provided us excellent guidance on how to create an event that was memorable and enjoyable for all. After watching her buzz around the day of our wedding taking care of EVERY detail, our family now simply refers to her as "Wonder Woman." Both she and the staff made sure every facet of our wedding day was perfect and exactly what we wanted. Our guests raved about the quality of the service from every member of the staff. But the rave review did not stop there! We heard from numerous guests that the food, from the passed hors d'oeuvres to the entrees, were the BEST food they have ever had at a wedding. I will say, we have to agree. Finally, I am so thankful to have found such a beautiful venue that offered so many options for pictures. The ceremony site is gorgeous and green and the house itself provides a perfect atmosphere. I am shocked this venue is not booked years in advance but I will always be grateful to have celebrated our day at a venue that provided us service, a beautiful space, and delicious food all at an affordable price.

My husband and I just got married 4th of July weekend and are so glad that we chose The Farmhouse for our venue!! Days after the wedding, our guests were still raving about how amazing the hors d'oeuvres, and entrees were. The venue was beautiful and the level of service from the staff was spectacular! Katie, one of the owners who served as our day-of coordinator, was incredibly helpful and accessible throughout the entire process to answer questions or offer guidance. She helped ensure that every detail of the wedding was carried out flawlessly - from our decorations to our timeline - she made sure everyone knew exactly where they needed to be. Katie and The Farmhouse team, we can't thank you enough! One of the things we liked most about the venue was how much was included. We were able to feature signature drinks, rent lawn games and a donut wall from the venue, and add on the use of their outdoor bar. Their wedding package even included centerpieces and the wedding cake from other local businesses they partner with. It made the wedding planning process that much easier! We would highly recommend The Farmhouse to anyone looking for a wedding venue!

We had the most magical weekend we ever could have asked for at The Farmhouse. The food was fantastic, we received so many compliments on how delicious the hors d’oeuvres and entrees were. We had two specialty drinks that were also just as wonderful. The property is so beautiful and we had plenty of space to get ready and take photos before the day started. Our vendors were able to easily do what they needed to at the venue and everything was coordinated smoothly. Everyone was so kind and helpful, and made our special day better than we ever could have imagined. We could not have asked for a better experience and would 100% do it all again with The Farmhouse.

We booked The Farmhouse for our wedding on 6/4/22 and it was a spectacular day! It's a beautiful space for a ceremony and reception with ample indoor and outdoor space for guests to mingle. One of the best parts of booking The Farmhouse is the package they offer. For a per-head cost that is very reasonable, your cake, centerpieces, and even a free hotel room for the bride and groom are included (and more!). It took such a big burden off of us to find, book and pay for separate vendors. The food was delicious, although we did have trouble with one guest with allergies not receiving her meal until almost dessert time. They threw a tasting event months before our day where the venue was set up for a wedding and filled with other Farmhouse couples. Not only was this a fun event, but it showed us what the venue would look like filled with people. We got to taste most of the food options which helped us narrow down our menu. All the staff was attentive and kind during the day and leading up to it. I loved how they recommended vendors like our DJ who knew the equipment and space very well. They recently started offering add-on packages of signage and lawn games which is a great way to cut down on the amount of items you need to bring to the venue and purchase for what will most likely be a one-time use. I highly recommend The Farmhouse as a beautiful and affordable venue!

I mean, what can I say about my experience at The Farmhouse? We had a brunch wedding on 6/19/22 and it was a truly wonderful experience. My coordinator, Laura, was wonderful to work with. She was clear about what I could expect day of and worked with me ahead of time to make sure I knew what I needed to provide. She managed everything flawlessly on the day of, quickly resolving issues that popped up and making sure the groom and I had a wonderful time. The packages were priced fairly and the all-inclusive nature of the venue definitely took some stress off us. The only suggestion I'd make is to add more food options to the brunch package, we found it a tad bit limiting. Other than that, host your wedding here if you want to have a simple, low stress, well coordinated wedding.

Words cannot describe how HAPPY I was that I booked The Farmhouse for my 2021 wedding. Laura was fantastic, patient, kind and accommodating! The venue is affordable, elegant and everything I wanted. To this day, my guests RAVE about the filet and the hors d’oeuvres. The service was wonderful and I had the wedding of my dreams. Thank you!

We planned our wedding in under six months and (having never done this before) had no idea what we were doing. Katie was very understanding from the beginning and worked to really understand what we wanted and helped us figure out the best path to get there. The team there is very busy (understandably so) and I was a little nervous that we would feel generic and rushed because of it, but the day of, the team's service well exceeded our expectations. Katie was proactive in anticipating things we might need, attentive if we did need anything, and extremely professional. (She also was wise in paying extra attention to the bride! haha) The whole night was beyond what we imagined and the setting, food, and service at the Farmhouse really made for a phenomenal celebration.

Katie (our wedding planner) was amazing. We went with Farmhouse because they take all the guesswork out of planning a wedding. Their catering was high quality (we had the classic style dinner), the place looked spectacular and the outdoor bar was definitely a plus! Thank you for making our day fantastic!

Seriously the best decision we could have made for our wedding! The stress and overwhelming nature of planning a wedding was alleviated ten fold by The Farmhouse! Because of their working relationships with other vendors, most everything was included in venue price which was extremely helpful and just downright awesome. We basically just had to find a dj and photographer! They set up all the decorations for us just how we wanted and took care of everything!!The food was fantastic, the service was wonderful and the whole day was dream come true! 10/10 would recommend!!

The venue had to many chair out for the ceremony with many chairs left opened. A table collapsed during my reception that should have never happened. My wedding coordinator left early without giving any knowledge to the couple and didn’t leave anyone to attend to the couple. They forgot to give us our wedding cake at the end of the night and had to come another day.

Book your wedding here and you will not be disappointed. Grounds are beautiful. Food received rave reviews from all of our guests. Many compared it to a 5 star dining experience. Laura, our wedding coordinator, was so helpful and so accommodating with all of our needs. The wedding in one word was “perfect”.

This venue was amazing. The food was so good, the staff was amazing. And the price wasn't bad at all.

We had our May 1st wedding at The Farmhouse and it was everything we had hoped for and more. Katie was our wedding coordinator and was open to answering any questions we had during the wedding planning process. She regularly kept in contact with us leading up to the event to ensure that everything was in order. The staff was also very attentive to our needs on the day of. We brought floral garlands to put on the pergola near the ceremony site and were told that we would have to arrange for someone arrive early to set it up. To our surprise, the pergola was beautifully done by the staff at the farmhouse and looked exactly like the picture. I would recommend this venue to any couple looking for an affordable wedding venue that includes most of the essentials. They include the cost of a wedding cake and floral table centerpieces if you work with their vendors. This is such a great value.

My husband and I had our dream wedding at The Farmhouse on 11/1/20! It is a very beautiful and affordable venue, I was very happy with everything that was included in the package. Our wedding coordinator was Anna and she was very helpful with any concerns and questions I had throughout the wedding planning process. The day of the wedding she was on top of everything making it run so smoothly. The rest of the staff were very polite and always there for anything we needed making sure my husband and I were enjoying ourselves. It ended up raining on our wedding day but the ceremony was easily moved inside and could not have been more perfect! The food was delicious too, we ended up having a buffet which had turkey with orange chutney sauce and london broil. My guests had so many compliments to give about the venue and it was such a fun day/night! The Farmhouse is definitely Delaware's hidden gem and I am so happy we decided on this venue. I could not have asked for a better wedding and highly recommend it!

My husband and I could not have picked a better venue, if I could give The Farmhouse more than 5 stars I would! Our wedding coordinators Katie and Laura were a pleasure to work with and made planning a breeze despite current circumstances. They had wonderful communication and very responsive to emails( my millions of questions (: ). They made wedding planning for us fun and we appreciate all of their hard work in making our dream come to life. Our guests are still raving about the food and the grounds are absolutely beautiful for pictures. The all inclusive package made everything very affordable-they even include the wedding cake! Everything about our wedding experience was perfect and I highly recommend The Farmhouse to anyone looking for a wedding venue.

I loveddd our wedding we had at The Farmhouse! The food is delicious and they give you very large portions. I loved that everything was all inclusive. It took away the stress of trying to find vendors on your own. The staff had decorated the place so well! I'm giving three stars because guests were starting to leave and our favors (donuts) had not been put out. There were two tables in another room that were not told when important events were happening and had to wait a long time for their food. They seemed to be forgotten about. I was not aware until two days prior to the wedding that these two tables would be in another room. There was not a lot of communication, which was upsetting, especially with the pandemic circumstance. I also was not notified that the guest list went up from 50 guests being allowed to 115 guests until I asked because I was getting ready to send out invitations. It would have been better if my husband and I had been kept updated with the covid changes and there was open communication.

We cannot say enough good things about our wedding reception at the Farmhouse! We married last year in late Spring and are late in writing this review, but we didn’t want to rush so that we could capture and share the amazing experience we had at the Farmhouse. Laura was key in helping us pull everything together! We asked her for suggestions on vendors, set-up, and more—and we were thrilled on how everything turned out. I (the bride was nervous) through the planning process, but Laura was always so patient with me. The venue was beautiful with so many details taken care of by their packages. I heard from my guests that the staff were super friendly and professional, and across the board we loved the food—it was like a gourmet dinner. It was so important to us that our guests had a great time and they still rave about our wedding at the Farmhouse! Laura and her team made me feel like a queen and our guests feel special. I cannot think of one thing I would change about our special day and our decision to have our wedding reception at the Farmhouse. It was the wedding of our dreams!

Incredibly beautiful and incredibly easy! From the second I first contacted the Farmhouse they were professional, easy to get a hold of and answered any and all questions. After we booked, it was like I had nothing to do! Staff took care of everything and it was so simple to pick all of the options I wanted. Day of, everything was perfect. Our coordinator, Laura, was simply the best. Food was amazing, servers were amazing, decorations were amazing. If you're looking for an intimate but spacious venue with professional staff who get the job done, look no further!

We had our wedding here this April and it was excellent. The venue is just beautiful and unique, not your typical ballroom that a lot of weddings take place (which is fine, just not my cup of tea). Anna was our coordinator and was awesome. The day went by so smooth without issues. Even the staff was very nice and took care of us (the bride and groom) by making sure we had drinks and food. When the groom and I went off to take pictures during cocktail hour, the staff came by with apps for us to eat! It was great! Food was hot when served to our guests and was very tasty. Our guests couldn't stop raving about how good the food was! We had a food truck come for our guests as our favors and The Farmhouse was very accommodating. The price was reasonable and the package included center pieces and a cake. Anna answered every one of my emails in a timely manner. The Farmhouse is just awesome!

All through the preparation the Farmhouse was amazing! They answered all of my questions in a VERY short time (with in 12 hours most of the time). It’s a wonderful venue for the fact it’s an “all inclusive”. They have food and beverage covered; linens and basic decorations are included as well as the cake and basic flower center pieces. With our very busy schedule they did a great job covering all bases for us or giving us great suggestions of where to go and who to book. There also aren’t ANY hidden costs! The food was amazing and my family cant stop raving about it! The wait staff was great in bringing us food out during photos (since the guests were enjoying cocktail hour). The bartenders were very personable and again my family was impressed by them. The most important thing to me,though, was that on the day of my wedding I was VERY ill. Laura found me pepto-Bismol and continued to check up on me through out the night. The only reason I gave four (I would give a 4.90 if I could) stars is for the fact they threw out my flowers by accident, due to miscommunication and forgot to put out our favors (no one missed them anyways just a waste of money) I asked to pick them up the next day, but when my mother in law went to go get them they had been thrown out.

My fiancé (now husband!) and I initially chose The Farmhouse based on price, location and just how much they included in their price (cake, fresh floral centerpieces, hotel room and shuttle for our guests...the list goes on! Check it out!) but knowing what I know now, I’d have booked them regardless. Katie worked close with us and (I’m not kidding here) our wedding day ran so smooth and perfect 100% because of her. She made sure we knew what to expect ahead of time at every turn and was so responsive to every email I sent her. I really cannot recommend The Farmhouse enough! Thank you guys!!

It was everything we could've wanted! Great atmosphere, homey, fall feelings, we felt it all. The food was wonderful and it was a good size to fit our loved ones. Definitely recommend!

Beautiful place! The coordinators do an amazing job to set everything up the way you imagine! They really do care about how your special day turns out! AMAZING! My husband and I could not be happier with our selection of the Farmhouse for our wedding venue. From the moment I reached out until the moment we left the night of our wedding, Laura and her team made us feel like we were the only wedding in the world. She was obviously very knowledgeable on the routines of weddings and she made us feel comfortable letting her take control of our special day. The atmosphere was perfect, and we still are so thankful we went with the Farmhouse. We highly recommend this venue for anyone looking for a calm, stress free venue and coordinator. The Farmhouse was amazing!! Katie made the entire process so simple and made my wedding day go so smoothly.. the only thing I had to worry about was dancing the night away! The food was insanely good, and everyone raved about the beauty of the venue. I would recommend the Farmhouse to everyone :)

Excellent venue! Loved the food, the turkey and the vodka tortellini were delicious! I likde the outside bar and deck area. Beautiful scenery. Laura was awesome to work with. Fast response time and she kept things running smoothly. I loved how the packages included pretty much everything except dj and the photographer. Made planning so much easier ! We had a perfect day and i highly recommend the farmhouse

The Farmhouse was quite the hidden gem! We found it on the Knot and decided to check it out! From the first moment we arrived we knew it was going to be the place we got married. Katie and Laura were awesome through the entire process! Katie kept me at ease and was super attentive. They offer catering, bakery and florist with their packages and have a vendor suggestion list for DJ, Photography and Officiants. Their prices are great! The food was AMAZING! The process was so streamline and stress free! The charm of the Farmhouse and the beautifully maintained property made for a perfect wedding and reception! We got amazing photos!! Highly recommended.

We had our wedding there 5/19/18. I was very happy with The Farmhouse. They include so many things with their wedding packages: Cake, Flowers, Open Bar, Coordinator, and more. It really takes the guess work and stress out of planning a wedding. I never had to worry about when anything was arriving which made me much more stress free leading up to the wedding. All my guests raved about how good the food was and how nice the venue was. Its cozy without feeling cramped but doesn't feel pretentious. Katie was our coordinator and she was wonderful with keeping everything on track and on schedule. We unfortunately had to have our ceremony inside due to rain but she did everything she could to still make our ceremony perfect inside and helped us convert our decorations from outside to inside. The open bar was a huge hit and our bartender for the night was awesome and so friendly. Overall very professional and great at what they do! I was not disappointed.

from the moment my husband and I attended their open house we knew that was the venue we were going to use. The owners are amazing and friendly. We had Laura, who literally made the day effortless. She also dealt with my numerous emails with silly questions leading up to the wedding day. hahaha she was truly amazing to work with!!! . The venue is gorgeous, the food is amazing, florist and cake vendors are included, as well as set up and clean up!!!!!!!! They couldn’t possibly make your wedding day any easier!!!!!!

I cannot say enough about this venue. It was honestly better than we we could have hoped for. Katie was our coordinator and she was on top of everything and everyone- she made the day run so smoothly and we can't thank her enough. Everything from the food to the ambience was impeccable. They also provide the cake and center pieces in their prices per person which are extremely reasonable. My husband and I feel like we hit the jackpot with The Farmhouse! We absolutely recommend this venue to anyone looking for a great place for a special occasion!

From our first look we knew the space at The Farmhouse was the right place for our wedding. Katie and Lauren made sure we were signed up for the next tasting and followed up with all the details needed. The food at the first tasting was good but even better the night of, keep that in mind! Throughout our planning they were very responsive to questions and always followed up promptly. As we got closer and closer they continued to check in on details and had all her notes available for us to review. On the day Katie was on top of every detail, working right with the DJ and Photographer. The staff hired for the evening were very professional also. Bottom line, we were completely satisfied by The Farmhouse and would definitely recommend to anyone!

The Farmhouse met my husband's and my every need! We stumbled upon The Farmhouse and discovered that they included catering, a baker, and a florist, which took so much off of our plate. Katie, our coordinator, was very responsive and attentive the entire time we were planning and took amazing care of us the day of our wedding! The venue itself is absolutely beautiful and our guests raved about the food. I can't say enough positive things about the team at The Farmhouse. I truly wish I could relive our wedding day over and over again!

Laura and her team went above and beyond to make sure our day was perfect! With so many amenities included with the wedding package, it made stressful wedding planning SO much easier! I had numerous people tell me after our wedding that their meal was the best wedding food they’ve ever had!

My husband and I held our wedding reception at The Farmhouse in October 2017. Everything went perfectly! Katie was amazing throughout the process and always responsive to our questions. She went above and beyond making sure that everything went smoothly and that I was taken care of throughout the entire event. The inclusive package was a great deal that removed a lot of stress from the planning process. The space was so beautiful, and our guests all absolutely raved about the food!! We chose to hold the ceremony at a church because we didn’t want to risk settling for the indoor rain option. The weather was wonderful anyway and many of our guests hung out in the beautiful deck area. We are so thankful to The Farmhouse for making our reception wonderful!

The Farmhouse was the perfect venue for our wedding. It had a rustic feel that I had wanted and it was a great size for our 80 guests. Our coordinator, Katie, helped to make the experience as smooth and seamless as possible. The Farmhouse provides the perfect balance of affordability and convenience. The food was amazing and the service was top notch. I would highly recommend looking into it for your special day!

My husband and I got married at the Farmhouse in August, 2017. We traveled three hours from home to get married at this venue because it was so perfect! The location is so beautiful, from the willow trees to the gardens, it is impossible to take a bad picture. Katie, our coordinator, was amazing! It rained in the middle of our ceremony, and everyone had to move inside. The staff was prepared for this, had the indoor location set up and ready, and moved all of our ceremony decor inside in about 5 minutes! Our guests all loved The Farmhouse and raved about the food.

Planning a wedding in my hometown of Delaware from California (and marrying a British Australian who was living in Sydney through the planning phase) could have been the most stressful experience ever. It was very important to find a venue we loved but also would make things really easy especially since we had to pick the venue SIGHT UNSEEN! Katie and The Farmhouse were just FANTASTIC! She was able to fulfill every request we had and helped come up with ideas and options for what we could do to make our wedding personalized and reflect us. The Farmhouse has all-inclusive packages which just makes wedding planning simple and easy. Belak Flowers and Desserts by Dana were spectacular and made our flowers, cake and dessert bar shine. Katie was super helpful and patient throughout the planning and kept up with my very OCD detailed asks. She was always available, very responsive and incredibly detailed oriented - which gives you such confidence in the venue and the people there - especially since I asked a ton of questions (especially on how certain décor pieces would work and all our small touches). On the Wedding Day, the venue was breathtaking. If you ever need to pick a venue blindly…you can feel comfortable that The Farmhouse is the perfect place. Beautiful outdoor space for our ceremony, outdoor deck space, and lots of rooms throughout the house itself. And again, Katie was amazing, making sure everything we executed to perfection. She was also fantastic checking in on us and making sure we had food and drinks. You'll love getting married here and appreciate the lack of stress that you feel and the confidence that you will have in the people and venue. We cannot thank The Farmhouse, Katie and everyone enough!

We held our April 21, 2017 wedding at the Farmhouse and we could not have been more pleased!!!!!! It was PERFECT! Not only is it beautiful and comfortable, but also the service we received was exceptional! We worked with Laura, who was INCREDIBLE! Whether you are a couple who knows exactly what you want or one who will know what they want when they see it, your wedding is in EXCELLENT hands. Laura was very helpful with providing choices and really listening to what was important to us. She also gave us invaluable guidance about our choices. I always felt she welcomed my emails and calls; I never felt like a bother and she always devoted her full attention to my needs. I didn't have to worry about a thing, as I knew Laura was thinking of EVERYTHING. I also greatly appreciated Laura being the "enforcer" the day of the wedding. I was able to completely enjoy myself, as she handled all guest questions and concerns. Best of all, she did so with kindness and professionalism, so ALL our guests RAVED about the setting and service!! We can never thank Laura and her staff enough for all they did for us!

Working with The Farmhouse made planning our reception very simple! The woman working with us communicated clearly and promptly and made sure the preparations were in place so that we and our guests were able to relax and celebrate on the day of the event. Our guests enjoyed the space, and we received many compliments about the venue. The only drawback was that we had no choice but to use the flower vendor with whom they are contracted (for centerpieces only). They are, though, very dedicated to making sure your event is everything you envision. All in all, we were extremely pleased with our experience there!

My husband and I got married on 9/30/2016 and it was amazing. The staff is wonderful, food wonderful, service impeccable and I felt like I didn't have much to do at all. We had an indoor wedding, which was very last minute due to inclement weather, and it went so smooth you would have never known that it was suppose to be outside. 1000 stars to an awesome venue!

My husband Zach and I got married at the Farmhouse on November 6, 2016 and we couldn't have had a more perfect day! Right from the start we were impressed with this venue. The packages they offer are amazing, affordable, and include a lot for your money! We worked with Katie in planning our wedding and she was absolutely outstanding. She was so attentive to every detail and made sure the day ran smoothly. The food and atmosphere were also incredible and we got many comments from our guests about how impressed they were. My husband and I had our wedding ceremony/reception at the Farmhouse on 5/28/2016. The venue and grounds are absolutely stunning and the management team is a breeze to work with! Katie was our wedding coordinator and was an amazing resource throughout the entire process and day of the event. My father in law still talks about how efficient and helpful she was whenever someone brings up our wedding day. Due to the availability of dates, we ended up having our wedding just 3 months after our engagement, and with The Farmhouse's help it looked like we had been planning for well over a year! I've never been the type to dream about my wedding day and the packages that The Farmhouse offers allowed us not to get stressed over the details but still personalize our special day for our tastes. The landscaping of the grounds is breath-taking and all the greenery was the perfect background for our ceremony. The bridal "getting ready" suite is a bit on the smaller size, but we didn't do onsite hair/makeup so that wasn't a big deal for us. I can't imagine another venue making the process any easier without sacrificing quality (the coffee station + dessert trays were great touches). Even our DJ loved the forethought of the in-house sound system that The Farmhouse had in place. I will say that the reception space is better for smaller groups (our wedding was ~115). Any more and we would have had to seat additional people in a separate room which would have been uncomfortable/could potentially cause friction in my opinion. The food was also very good. I'm used to wedding food not being of the best quality, just because of the mass production of the meals, but our meals were perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The Farmhouse was the perfect fit for me and my husband, and I can't imagine anyone regretting their decision to go with them.

If I could give The Farmhouse 100 starts it wouldn't be enough. Laura and her staff are absolutely amazing! The Farmhouse is quaint, inviting and beautiful. We had our wedding in September 2016 and it was a beautiful Saturday. The grounds are so well maintained, the patios are beautiful and the reception area is perfect! Laura even had to do damage control when my now husband spilled a beer on his jacket before the ceremony...just like every other detail, she handled it effortlessly. My guests are still talking about how good the food was and how much they loved the venue. I knew what kind of wedding I wanted when I walked in the door and Laura, along with her team, made my fairy tale wedding come true.

I want to give the Farmhouse 10 stars. Everything about our day was perfect. Laura was an absolute dream- she is so easygoing yet organized. She dealt with me going to every open house and asking thousands of questions and was always so friendly and pleasant. The food is amazing, the grounds are perfect- everything is top notch. My guest raved about everything. We had an absolutely perfect day and I couldn't have asked for more.

My husband and I got married at the Farmhouse on May 1, 2016. Katie and her staff were just amazing.....it was our perfect venue. Provided beautiful space for pictures with the intimacy of a family home location. The package includes so much it really is worth the investment. It was nice to have so much included and to not have to stress about a cake or linens. We got married inside due to torrential rain and it turned out absolutely beautiful. It felt so warm and intimate and our pictures came out great due to all of the wood backtones. All of our guests commented on how nice the venue looked, how kind the staff was and that the food was delicious. Katie was so helpful in making the day run smoothly. She really goes above and beyond! You won't be disappointed!!! So thankful to Katie and all the staff at the Farmhouse for making our day feel so special and memorable!

We absolutely loved The Farmhouse!!! It is the perfect location for a ceremony and reception, which was our decision. The grounds are not just beautiful, they are exceptional! The biggest draw for us to The Farmhouse was the inclusive packages they offer. For everything that you receive in the package the price is unbelievable and affordable! Our coordinator, part of the package, handled all of the details with great expertise on our day and leading up to our day. Laura was so down-to-earth and we really got along. She was matter of fact about what really wouldn't work and excited for our new ideas. The food was phenomenal!!!!! It is catered in-house and part of the package. There is so much more to gush about but the greatest compliment we received was that our guests loved The Farmhouse too! Everyone commented on how it is a hidden gem. We had a fantastic wedding because of this amazing venue!!!

The perfect wedding venue. No others compare at all. This place is impeccable and the staff are amazing. We had so much fun working with Laura and her crew. They made our planning so easy and seamless. The venue is the perfect spot for our guests to find. The outside grounds are beautifully landscaped so we took our pictures there as well. All the amenities offered were a great deal.

My husband and I had a wonderful wedding and reception at The Farmhouse earlier this year. The organizers planned a seamless event, so we were able to have our ceremony outside and then immediately transition inside for the reception. Our 5-pc band and 100 guests fit perfectly in the main room. The organizers even took care of seating for guests not on the RSVP list - thanks, ladies! There was no drama, and everyone seemed to have fun. I loved having a one-stop venue so that we could efficiently plan our wedding and also minimize down time for guests during the event.

We had our wedding at the end of October. It was everything thing that we ever wanted it to be. Katie and the Farmhouse staff were above and beyond amazing. From the details that the farmhouse does to the details that we added. They really took the time to get every last thing right. Our wedding day, Katie made sure that we were taken care of at all time. I cant tell you how many of our guests came up to us to tell us how beautiful this venue is. The guest also could not stop talking about the food it was delicious. We had the crab cake and stuffed pork loin, you can not go wrong with either choice. We would recommend this amazing, gorgeous venue to anyone. There really isn't one negative thing I could say. YOU CANT GO WRONG WITH CHOOSING THE FARMHOUSE!!

This venue is great! They have different packages which include food, open bar, cake, linens and centerpieces, as well as ceremony chairs. It made it so much easier to plan the wedding. The food is awesome, and the venue is beautiful. The wedding coordinator Katie is amazing, very helpful and supportive throughout the planning process.

Leading up to our big day, the staff at the Farmhouse was extremely helpful and would answer any an all questions that I had! The Farmhouse has an amazing package that includes things like linens, tablecloths, alcohol, food, cake AND flowers for an inclusive rate! It made planning the wedding much easier and I was able to focus on other things (personal decor, etc). Our friends and family could not stop gushing about how intimate and magical the Farmhouse was. We wanted something in between a barn and hotel and this was it! The food was phenomenal and I couldn't be happier that we went with the Farmhouse!

My husband and I got married at the Farmhouse over the summer. We had our wedding in the back outdoor area and the reception inside the farmhouse with the back bar/patio open. The staff was amazing from the very beginning, including the months leading up to the wedding. They were helpful in finding all the vendors we used and were more than accommodating with the requests we made. All the options they offer are VERY affordable and you get more than you pay for. The outdoor area is enchanting and the inside is a beautiful renovated farm house. One huge bonus was how amazing the food was! They serve a hot meal to every person, their course selection is extensive and unique, and everything was delicious. Check this venue out, they always have open houses, you won't be disappointed!

We booked this venue in November 2014 for our September 2015 wedding. We had 90 people, and held the ceremony and reception here. We used Mary Elizabeth for flowers, and OHS entertainment for our DJ. It has a beautiful inside, as well as two pretty options for the ceremony outside. Laura and Katie worked with us and always were quick to answer any questions or concerns. The day of the wedding, Laura did an AWESOME job running things and keeping us on schedule, and probably tons of other things that I never even knew about. It went off without any issues. The food was great (all the guests were and have been telling us, too), the bartenders were quick, and everything was perfect. If you are looking for a venue in Delaware, this is the one to use. In the costs, they include: a cake, centerpieces, table settings and covers, all set up and break down of everything, petals down the aisle, and other stuff too depending on which meal options you choose. We planned this remotely while living in Richmond, Virginia. We took a couple of trips up there, but it was incredibly easy to organize everything since they vendors work together so well (cake, dj, farmhouse). Thanks Laura and Katie (and the rest of the staff too!)

My daughter and son in law were married at the Farmhouse recently and I highly recommend this venue!! We had approximately 140 guests and everyone praised the venue, the food, and the entire experience as being one of the best they've had! The staff was extremely professional, the food was fantastic, and the venue is so romantic and perfect for a wedding! They were able to present my daughter's vision perfectly! The Farmhouse itself is settled on picturesque grounds which made for so many picture taking opportunities! The outdoor space for the wedding was beautiful! The owner of this venue is very professional and knows what brides today are looking for. Laura worked with us on every detail--and even some we hadn't thought of! The bridal suite is a perfect space for putting on the final touches! This venue is a welcome change from the large halls with high ceilings of today. It offers a more intimate and romantic setting that made everyone feel a part of the festivities. We had plenty of room for dancing the night away!!

Katie at the Farmhouse was incredibly helpful, attentive, personable and supportive day-of and during the planning process. I had my wedding at The Farmhouse, and I would recommend this venue to anyone who is looking for a rustic, beautiful ceremony and reception without breaking the bank. The grounds are lush and green, the facility is quaint with lots of charm, with both indoor and outdoor seating and an outdoor bar. We had great weather so this was a real plus. But I think what sets the Farmhouse apart from the rest is the excellent management and service. Katie was hands on throughout the entire experience and really gave my husband and I the exact wedding we described. The food was really good, and I have to say that I do not normally like wedding food at all. The salads, and entree's were fresh and seasoned well(we had the "Cocktail Reception"...do not misunderstand, this does not just mean hors d'oevres. It is a more laid back reception where after stationary and butlered hors d'oevres were served during cocktail hour, there are stations set up so people can eat when and what they want. But it's not a buffet either. And also the bars were open for then entire reception). This is also a very inclusive facility. The centerpieces, wedding cake, food, alcohol, chairs etc...were all included in the price per head, which is really reasonable. I cannot tell you how frustrating it was going to venues who wanted to charge me per plate, per chair, per place setting. All in all a great place, for a great price and I had a beautiful, simple, fun wedding at this venue.
