The Festive Board

The Festive Board was wonderful from start to finish. They were very organized before, during, and after our wedding. They went above and beyond to meet our needs. I highly recommend them!

Festive Board was fantastic! The venue was very pleased with how clean the kitchen was left. James - the bartender, kept the drinks flowing and the dancing up. Charles - the lead, made sure the bride and groom ate. The guests loved the food and there was plenty of it.

Amazing food and day of coordinator. She made sure my husband and I were well fed and hydrated. I am so happy with went with festive board and our family is still raving about the food.

The Festive Board provided great food for my wedding this October! Everyone we interacted with from the first conversation to our wedding day were very kind and we had no issues. My husband and I were very well taken care of on the wedding day. Only reason for 4 stars was on the wedding day at dinner, guests we had provided table numbers and names for prior to the wedding with allergens, received plates with their allergens on it. Some of them picked around or didn't even eat their food, but I know some did send back their plate for a correction. This was the only disappointing aspect!

Everything was exquisite—and I use that word so sparingly that it took me four tries to spell it right. My wedding day was stressful but the catering was one thing I never blinked at. Chuck is incredible and efficient and attentive and his whole team did an amazing job. I got so many compliments on the food and the service! They did everything from setting up the bar and the tables and providing the linens and cleaning up and packing out the trash. 10/10, I will go blue in the face before I run out of good things to say. I’m hoping to never get married again, but I would hire them again in a heartbeat and recommend them to anyone I know.

From day one, their team offered outstanding service, guiding us through their extensive menu options and helping us craft the perfect meal for our big day. We were even hand-delivered samples of our chosen menu, which was such a thoughtful touch and made us even more excited for the big day! On the wedding day itself, their service team was incredibly kind and professional. They made sure everything went smoothly and attended to our guests with warmth and care. The Festive Board had wonderful people to work with. Everyone was so nice and helpful and they did SO much. They helped us set up and tear down, and our coordinator Nikki was just out of this world! The hot appetizers were so good, but the food itself was mediocre. Some things came out a bit cold, and other things were dry. Thats the only reason I gave 4 stars. They are still definitely worth booking with if food isn't a big priority for you solely because of all the other things they provide.

We cannot thank Chuck and his amazing crew enough for such an amazing reception. The food was delicious, the service was impeccable and all our our desires were met with professionalism and grace. We would recommend Festive Board for any and every occasion. Simply the best. 😀❤️

My husband and I found this company by attending the Baltimore Wedding Expo. We had signed the contact in April 2023 & paid in full with the owner of the company, Ed Abendschoen. We originally thought that we had hit the jackpot with this company, as they offered a lot of things we would have had to contact out with separate venders. They offered a Day of Coordinator, Linens and licensed bartenders. We were married on Saturday, 8/31/24 in North East, MD (Cecil County). The Festival Board is located in York, PA. We were told that someone would reach out to us to schedule a final meeting. A staff by the name of Chuck had called my husband to be to schedule our final meeting 30 days prior to our event. He was adamant that he was able to meet with us on a scheduled Monday. On the day that the meeting was scheduled, Chuck reached out to cancel our appointment due to the restaurant being closed. He claimed that he was not aware of when the restaurant would close, but according to google, they are closed every Monday. My Fiancé and I had already rearranged our schedules to be able to attend such meeting. When my fiancé and Chuck started talking about needing to be able to look at colored linens, Chuck seemed clueless that The Festival Board had linens. We were able to still meet on then day that we originally schedule - Taylor had accommodated us. I was also told that the day of coordinator, Jennifer Carr would reach out to me two weeks prior to discuss the event. They did not. I had to reach out to Taylor who reported she would reach out a week prior to our event. When the day of coordinator finally reached out, she mentioned that she and her staff would be at my wedding venue by 11am on 8/31. They did not arrive until 12:15pm. When they arrived, all the staff seemed to be a bit upset - When originally booking with Ed, we had known where our venue was and made mention of its address and asked if this would cause any issues. He reported No. It was also mentioned that since we had 170 guests in attending, that we would at least need 2 bartenders as my friends/family were drinkers. Ed reported that he would make sure we had 3 bartenders. only ONE bartender had arrived. Although, she had done great with the lines that were always forming, her attitude stunk. She was upset that her employer left her high and dry. She could not even run to the restroom, claiming that she would be fired if she did. The only reason my guests had COLD drinks at my wedding was due to friend icing down all the drinks. The event went well except for finding all of our leftover food was left out over at night, in the heat at active Horse farm, covered in insects. What I am more upset over, is my top tier of my wedding cake was also left out, no refrigeration. Again, insects covering. All food/cake had to be trashed. My husband and I don't have a cake to eat on our year anniversary. The property owners of the venue also caught the staff filling water glasses up with water from the unfiltered hose meant for the horses. This was corrected. When I called to speak to someone about the left out food, I was also informed that my cake had been sitting out in the elements since it had arrived, at 2:30pm. Cake was served roughly around 7pm-7:30pm. I was instructed that someone higher up than Jennifer would call me to discuss the food concern, however, I am still waiting on them to call and resolve. I do not recommend hiring this company.

Chuck and his team saw to every detail of my son and now daughter-in-law's recent wedding. Chuck had an amazing eye for detail which he somehow kept attuned to not only the food presentation, etc., but to the needs of each guest (there were over 130 people seated for dinner). Thank you sincerely, Chuck, for insuring a memorable event!

My wedding was on 8/24/24. Chuck and his team did an amazing job. We met a month before and discussed the details and everything was exactly the way we talked about. The food was incredible as well. My wedding couldn’t have went better and a big part of that goes out to Chuck.

We had an absolutely stellar experience with Festive Board for our wedding. From start to finish, they exceeded our expectations. We especially loved that they delivered the tasting plates directly to our home, allowing us to enjoy the selection process at our own pace. Their professionalism shone through every step of the way, and we greatly appreciated that they included a bartender and servers, which added to the seamless and special experience. We couldn’t have asked for a better catering experience. Highly recommend!

Ed, the owner, went above and beyond in helping us choose food remotely (we're from Pittsburgh but were having the wedding in Fort Loudon, PA). After patiently walking us through, he delivered sample dinner plates to our front door within 2 days!! The food was amazing. We went with the briquet and pulled pork type menu and EVERY guest was impressed. But, the food was just part of what makes this Caterer stand out. Sheri, the events manager and her crew showed up hours before the wedding with linens, and set-up all the place settings, managed the cocktail hour, and served the guests and the Bridal Family like seasoned pros! Sincerely...for hours after the wedding, my family kept gushing about how "at peace" Sheri made us all feel with the way she handled everything. This is our family's second wedding and I wish we had known The Festive Board for the first!

I could not have made through the day without Chuck and his team! A month before, we met and we discussed everything. Day of, I didn’t need to do a single thing. This team went above and beyond. Every single guest said the food was amazing!! I am beyond grateful to have had Chuck for my wedding. I would throw an event every year and hire Festive Board every time!!

My daughters wedding was 7/20/24 and we had Chucks team. His team were very nice, attentative and worked hard to get the venue set up as well as clean up. Chuck was awesome with communicating to all parties involved. Food was delicious as my daughter chose to have an appetizer/buffet style dinner. The team was on top of refreshing foods that were near empty. Prior to chosing Festive Board we were given samples of the food we chose. Food was delicious and had a variety of appetizers. Price was right and I am glad Festive Board Catering was chosen. I thank the team for a wonderful job well done!!

My husband and I were beyond impressed with the attention to detail provided by Festive Board throughout our wedding planning process. They were quickly responsive to email, questions, and my tendency to confirm details on several occasions. Chuck was the savior of our wedding day - he served us dinner, made sure we were hydrated (especially with margs), and even went above and beyond to assist with reception decorating and fluffing my dress at the start of the aisle. I do not have the words to describe how essential Chuck was for us. If you are considering Festive Board, book with them! You will love their food, and so will your guests. What a fantastic experience! When I first reached out to Festive Board and spoke with Ed to come up with a menu and price quote for my wedding, I felt like I was in great hands. Ed was professional, detailed, and thorough. There were so many food options to choose from to please everyone on our guest list. Our day-of-coordinator at the wedding, Chuck, was PHENOMENAL! He went over every detail with me a few weeks before the wedding so I knew exactly what to expect, and made a lot of helpful suggestions. The day of the wedding, Chuck and his staff were friendly and well-prepared. I received so many compliments on the food from my guests, and I received so many compliments on Chuck! Chuck really went above and beyond! Not only did he manage the food, but he also helped two guests with walking issues to their cars, made sure myself and my husband had food and drinks throughout the day, and even made sure our dog had water. Thank you so much to the Festive Board for making my day perfect!

The Festive Board was 100% the right choice for my daughter's wedding. FIVE STARTS ALL THE WAY!! When I discussed the wedding date with Ed he knew that my daughter and her fiancé lived in Louisiana. After we spoke he had another request for that same date and what he did next for us is what I call going above and beyond. He prepared and shipped 2 plates of food we chose for our menu using the same plates and silverware to my daughter with easy instructions on how to reheat in order for her to taste and approve and save her date. Communication back and forth before the wedding was very professional. The staff provided was exceptional. Three different crews were provided for setting up, cocktail hour and the reception so everything was done on time and perfect. The wedding was outdoors and in June so we had an antique tea cart set up next to the ceremony and Festive Board took care of supplying lemonade and iced tea for the guests. They also took care of tear down afterwards and had the leftover food packaged in containers on a table for us to take home. The pricing was very reasonable and within our budget. I was amazed that our price included real plates, silverware and glassware not paper or plastic, tablecloths and napkins, etc. I can't stress enough how wonderful, polite & courteous the staff was. Chuck was in charge of the crew on the wedding day and he was the BEST! At one point he had a question for my daughter who was up line dancing at the time so he joined right in on the dance with her, asked the question, and popped right back out. She never had to stop a beat! Chuck asked if he could then communicate mostly with me as to not bother the bride and groom which I felt was very thoughtful of him. Now to the food, DELICIOUS! We received so many compliments on how delicious everything was. When it comes to price, value and service you can't go wrong with The Festive Board!

We are so glad we were able to work with Sherri and her crew. The food was delicious and presented beautifully. We opted to have our food brought to our guests rather than buffet style at no extra cost. The bartenders were friendly and accommodating when we had a last minute change with our dinner location due to the heat. We would definitely recommend them to anyone having a special event.

We absolutely loved festive board!! We live in Louisiana but had our wedding in PA however festive board was real easy to communicate with. They even shipped our chosen food to us for tasting which was extremely helpful. Chuck handled our wedding day and he was amazing! He was so fun and upbeat the whole time. He checked on us frequently and made sure we had everything we needed to have a great time throughout the evening. Food was delicious and everything ran so smoothly from start to finish. I would definitely recommend people to use festive board for their wedding/event. You won’t be disappointed.

The Festive Board Catering is wonderful to work with. They were very upfront about their prices and even mailed us samples of the food we chose! The staff was wonderful to work with and their food was delicious, they even wrap up the leftovers for you to take home! However, they started cleaning up our reception hall by 8 PM when it only ended at 9 PM. Was a little disappointed to start seeing all of our decorations going down so early in the night.

We booked Festive Board Catering for our wedding on May 4, 2024 for 120 guests. From the time that Ed had plates delivered to our home for us to sample the food, to making changes to the menu and guest list, to the actual presentation on our wedding day, everything ran smoothly. Our menu included crudite appetizer, Prime rib, southwest salmon, honey glazed carrots, green beans, rice pilaf, and smashed potatoes. All food was served promptly, professionally and was warm and delicious. My absolute FAVORITE was the salmon with rice pilaf and honey-glazed carrots. My husband doesn't even like cooked carrots, and even he couldn't get enough. We had many compliment and PLENTY of leftovers, mostly prime rib, potatoes, and carrots. Thank you for your professionalism, and a shout out to Dorothy who went above and beyond to help decorate the sweetheart and cake/cookie table--it looked lovely.

We found festive board through our venue recommendation list and we are so happy we found them to cater our wedding! We were able to customize our menu and we had so many options to make it our own. The staff were all amazing, from the first phone call all the way to the day of staff, we could not be more impressed and grateful to everyone from festive board who helped make our day so incredibly special! They received so many compliments on how great the food was during the day from our guests, the food was amazing! Highly recommend festive board to cater any event you may have!

Chuck was amazing!!!!! He made sure we had food and drinks during our pictures and everyone loved our food! The attention to detail made it so I didn’t have to worry about any of it! I was able to not stress about the food or set up. Chuck was the best investment in the wedding! They are worth all the Pennies! I am so happy!

We are so happy we chose The Festive Board for our wedding day! The food was great, we received many compliments from our guests! We loved that we did not have to keep track of entree choices, as each guest received the same meal, which included 2 sides and 2 proteins. Nikki and her team were absolutely amazing on wedding day! Nikki in particular was extremely attentive, checking in on the bride and groom frequently throughout the night! She ensured all of the decor for the reception was set up just the way we wanted. Everyone we came in contact with during the planning process was friendly, professional, and easy to work with! We highly recommend using them for your wedding day!!

Love this caterer! Easy to work with and upfront, transparent pricing. Throughout the entire planning process and day of they were professional and extremely easy to work with. Taylor and her whole team did a fantastic job during the event. Chuck was also wonderful during our reception and made sure we were taken care of and able to enjoy our day. The festive board from start to finish was fabulous to work with. Chuck went above and beyond and made sure everything was running smoothly and allowed us to relax and enjoy our day! I’m so glad we chose festive board as our caterer!

Libby was awesome and super helpful on our wedding day, however our bartenders were not very nice to guests and broke one of our glass dispensers as well as multiple liquor bottles. This has cost about $300. When we tried to speak with Taylor one of the owners, we were told we would be hearing back from her after she spoke with the bartenders. We never heard back unfortunately. We recommend working with Libby m, but none of the bar stuff. They made some of my guests uncomfortable which was pretty awful to hear.

Festive Board did an excellent job! The food was amazing, they were very affordable especially for everything that was included, & the people were wonderful to work with. Our day-of coordinator was Joy & she was just the best! We had actually forgotten one of the main ingredients for our signature cocktail so Joy had someone run out & pick some up just so we could still have our signature cocktail & I am extremely grateful & thankful for that! I would absolutely recommend Festive Board. I am extremely happy we went with them!

Hired them for my wedding and was impressed by the food and service. So many guests approached me about how great the food was. I worked with Sheri who was a delight! She did everything to ensure that my groom and I had everything we needed at all times. It was like having your own personal assistant. Everyone on the team was professional and helpful. I loved the one stop shopping as they supplied all linens, china, dishes etc. they even helped set up decor. So happy that they were part of our special day.

I can't say enough good things about Festive Board. They were a recommendation from my wedding venue. The minute I began speaking with Ed, I knew that anything I needed would be answered and taken care of. He went through everything I needed to know on our first call and was always there to answer my questions or help me make changes to the menu. One thing that really stood out to me was that they sent me two plates of some of our menu items so my husband and I could taste. I thought this was really unique and a great way to narrow your choices down if you were uncertain. Leading up to the wedding and on the day of, Chuck (day of coordinator) was so attentive and an absolute joy to be around. He answered last minute questions for me and tended to mine and my husbands needs after the ceremony. He even helped clean everything up after the ceremony and packaged all the food for us to take home that was leftover. We loved working with him! The appetizers were delicious and the main course was good as well. We had sweet and sour meatballs, Boursin stuffed mushrooms, and bacon wrapped tater tots for our appetizers with out main course being Caesar salad, stuffed shells, lemon grilled chicken, garlic rosemary mashed potatoes, cooked carrots, and broccoli. Some minor critiques with the food and bar service: I had the ability to take the alcohol back if unopened and in good condition. When I got home the next day, I realized that there were several opened bottles of the same alcohol even though others weren't finished. This led to a lot of it being wasted since I was unable to return. For the food, while great overall, the ricotta filling in the stuffed shells was a little loose and some of the guests wished the could have had more of them which would have reduced the amount we were taking home. We highly recommend this caterer to anyone getting married in the PA and MD area!

We hired Festive Board from a recommendation from our venue. They were incredibly kind from day one. They text me prior to finalize plans and meals. They followed through on everything and even set up my decor on the tables. We had a bartender (you provide your own alcohol) who was fantastic as well. I highly recommend them and the day of coordinator I had was Debbie and she was lovely!

We couldn’t have asked for a better caterer. They were there on time, they went above and beyond with setting up our tables and the rest of the venue!!! They added so many touches, which made everything so beautiful!! The food was exactly as planned and steaming hot. They fed 220 people and all we heard was how great the service was. The team was so friendly and professional!! They felt like family by the end of the day!! Thank you Sherrie for being our lead and having such hard working people support you!!!

Top Notch service at a reasonable price. The food was fantastic. We loved it and got a lot of compliments on it. Between the ceremony and reception, a storm rolled in and blew over most of the tables. The water glasses spilled, soaking the table cloths and napkins. This amazing team had brought enough extra to be able to switch them out for dry ones! They set everything back up and most of the guests didn't even know this happened. Amazing.

I had a wonderful experience with Festive Board. Everyone keeps mentioning how good the food was and Chuck was super attentive on the day of. He does ensure you have appetizers and drinks and is just a wonderful person overall. He has such a positive personality and he will be on your side, leading up to the wedding and on the day of. He makes sure everything is just how you want it. Highly recommend, and if you get a chance to work with Chuck you won’t be disappointed!

Taylor and her whole crew was fantastic! She is an excellent communicator and she answered my millions of questions ahead of the big day. Her team went above and beyond with setting our our decor, preparing our specialty drinks to perfection and accommodating shifting timelines. We went with the most affordable menu and the food was excellent while being within our budget. Taylor also made sure we ate during cocktail hour and had full plates of food served directly to us at the start of our reception. All the servers and bartender were so friendly and hospitable. The best part is that my family has a new favorite deli in the area!!! We love Festive Board!!!

Chuck and his team were very attentive to every detail. One of the most talked things from our wedding was about how attentive Chuck and his team were to the guests, how delicious the food was, and how well they worked together. They helped run the cocktail hour and reception seamlessly, allowing our family and friends to enjoy the celebration. We highly recommend The Festive Board for all of your catering needs (and Chuck to run the show).

The team was top notch. Chuck was so attentive to every detail. He served the grandparents of the groom who were both in wheelchairs and made sure to ask if he could help whenever he saw the mother of the groom looking for someone or something. Keep up the good work!

Festive Board provided delicious food for our daughter’s wedding. They came a bit out of their delivery area and got caught in some traffic, but they were able to have everything ready with plenty of time. They were easy to work with and the staff on the day of the event was stellar. We especially appreciated Nikki, who checked in regularly, took a plate of appetizers to the bride and groom during their photos, and went above and beyond our expectations. There were a few issues that we were concerned about. We had specifically requested extra bartenders and shared worries about the possibility of a long bar line. On the day of, the main bar was small and only had 2 bartenders and people waited far too long for drinks. There was a second bar but it didn’t open until after cocktails, which wasn’t helpful during cocktail hour. Also, there were lots of plates and glasses sitting around and not removed until the bride mentioned it. As far as quantity of food, I know that we ran out of beef before 3 tables were served and we heard the same about the chicken (although I didn’t witness that myself). The DJ was not notified when it was last call, which caused a few issues, as well. Overall, we really loved this company and would work with them again if the opportunity arose. We would be more specific about our staffing expectations and pay additional if that resolved the issue.

The Festive Board was an amazing choice for our wedding caterer! From the initial call with the owner Ed, to the delicious sample dinner, to our planning conversations with Libby and Debbie - the professionalism and care was impeccable. We felt very comfortable throughout the whole process. The staff on the day of the wedding were friendly, efficient, and attentive. The food was delicious and we got sent home with lots of leftovers. The bar service was good, but unfortunately the signature cocktail recipes we provided were not used. This led to some very heavily mixed drinks and running out of liquor by the end of the night.

Festive Board catered our wedding at Lauxmont Farms in Wrightsville, PA on 5/27/23. Originally, we had plans to have another company cater our wedding but soon realized we would have to do everything ourselves. When Ed contacted me, he explained everything so thoroughly, answered my long list of questions and had everything so organized. I honestly felt relieved after the phone call and booked Festive Board right after. From there, we were contacted by Chuck who was our day of coordinator. Chuck was absolutely amazing and went above and beyond on our wedding day. He always had fast responses, made sure I was doing okay and was always there to tell me to "breathe" when he knew I was stressed out. Everyone at the wedding loved him! He set up everything just the way I envisioned. He even fluffed my dress before walking down the aisle and always made sure I had a drink in my hand. I cannot thank him enough for all that he did on the wedding day, I would recommend him and Festive Board to anyone! The bartenders were also great (though I did not get a chance to catch their names). Very professional and organized. Festive Board will literally do everything for you. They provide you with utensils, plates, linens, food, and drinks. This was stressful for me due to the fact that my venue did not provide this. However, Festive Board made this process simple and easy! The price I would have paid for a different company added up to the cost that Festive Board charged, so I would definitely recommend. Our day went smoothly thanks to this caterer!

Festive Board catered our wedding on 5/20/2023 and I cannot say enough great things about our experience with them. From the moment we reached out to them about catering our wedding they treated us with kindness and professionalism. Festive Board was extremely affordable. After speaking over the phone and developing a menu, they shipped everything to our house in ice packed box with directions to heat in the oven. We were able to taste test everything from the comfort of our own home. Joy and her team were ABSOLUTELY amazing the day of the wedding. They took care of so many little details and set up all the decor on all the tables. It looked beautiful. My mom said she shed a tear when she walked in the reception space and saw their set up. Joy and her team were very attentive to us as the bride and groom. They made sure to bring us cocktails and a plate of hors d’oeuvres while we were getting our pictures after the ceremony. During the reception they were very attentive to our guests making sure their drinks were full and plates were cleared. At the end of the night they tore down all our decor, packed up the remaining food, and removed all the trash in a matter of minutes. I’d highly recommend Festive Board for your next event!

Festive board was honestly awesome, and was a great fit for our wedding! The staff was friendly and professional, and I worked with both Chuck and Sherri to get everything organized, and both were awesome. Sherri was at our wedding and ensured my husband and I had everything we needed all night! She maintained clear communication and made sure we were both in the loop on everything that was going on. The food was really good… everyone has reached out to me about the ham, and I’m still dreaming of the honey glazed carrots! The only hiccup that we experienced was that our bacon Brussel sprouts had no bacon, and they weren’t cooked all the way. We were a little bummed because we LOVED the sample we received when we booked, but it wasn’t a big enough deal to worry over. Thank you Festive Board!

Festive Board was absolutely incredible to work with from the very beginning. The day of our wedding they went above our expectations 100%. If I even looked like I needed anything they were right there offering whatever we needed. The bar staff were so friendly and incredible. A friend told a waiter she loved the potatoes (100000/10) and the waiter went and grabbed her a to go box filled with potatoes. We are so happy and thankful we went with festive board!

Festive Board Catering really came through for me. I had booked a food truck for our 9/10/22 wedding which ended up canceling on us a few months prior. When I reached out to Festive Board, I spoke with Ed in great detail about all of our needs and was given clear and concise information about the options for food and services they offered. We were able to craft a menu and inclusive set up/clean up for the day. Ed also overnighted us plates of food for us to warm up and sample beforehand. Everything we tried was delicious! On the wedding day the staff was tremendous and everything went smoothly, we even had a bunch of leftover food to bring home and share with venue staff! The day of coordinator that Festive Board includes with their catering packages was just the cherry on top of already incredible service! I’m so happy we were able to book them in time!

My husband and I got married on March 25, 2023. We looked at a handful of caterers before finding and signing with FB so needless to say, we had other options. Out of the options we looked at, we absolutely made the right choice. From our initial phone call with Ed, to our consistent communication with Taylor and Chuck, to the actual day of the wedding. I will forever be a fan of FB. Okay, so to get to the point of reviews… 1) FOOD: we had a served meal, now it will be helpful to know they’re served entrees are family style which means everyone gets everything on their plate. There is no chicken OR beef, you get BOTH. Which actually made many of our guests very happy. They got to have the best of both worlds. They didn’t need to choose. We selected the Montreal Beef and Lemon Chicken. FAN-TAS-TIC. From the tasting of our food to the actual execution the day of our wedding, the quality and presentation was the same as the initial representation. One of our biggest comments was “omg, the food was awesome!” 2) BEVERAGE: I do feel it necessary to say that they do supply bartenders but do not provide alcohol for weddings. You must provide it yourself. At first, this was intimidating, because it did add an extra expense to our books. However, after some thought we realized it actually may have helped us save more. We got to spend when we wanted to and customize the bar to our liking. 3) PRICING: We feel as if we got more than we paid for. Between the speedy and smooth service the staff provided us with, the quality of food, and the overall experience you would’ve thought we paid much more than we did. Ed offers a multitude of options for different budgets and for a couple who paid for 90% of the wedding ourselves, was extremely helpful and comforting. I would qualify it as moderate in pricing. Not cheap but not expensive either. Worth every penny! 4) now for my favorite part… CHUCK: he’s getting his own bullet point because he deserves one. Chuck was fabulous from beginning to end. I felt immediate comfort when I met him, I just knew my food was in great hands. On top of his exceptional serve to my husband and I, his personality is just phenomenal. Everyone at our wedding talked about how nice he was and how fun he was. He was probably the absolute highlight of our wedding from a vendor aspect. Perfect balance of someone who’s a professional but still knows how to be goofy and have fun. He personally served my husband and I. He took care of everything for us. We never needed to go to the bar ourselves, our water glasses were full the entire night, our food was fresh and hot, he even ran my phone to our table when I realized I had it in my hand before walking outside to walk down the isle. If I had to do my wedding over again, I’d still choose Chuck and Festive Board. Over and over, again and again.

If I could leave more than 5 stars I would!!! I cannot recommend the festive board and catering enough. Not only did Chuck go above and beyond to make my wedding day perfect but his ENTIRE catering staff were so professional and nice. The food was delicious (we had a taco bar) and got so many compliments from all of our guests. 10/10 recommend using them for all of your catering needs. I know I will ❤️

We were very happy with the catering we received for our wedding through Festive Board. The initial meeting and the coordination and presentation for the day of were great! We did have some hiccups and unprofessionalism with one of the staff during a finalization meeting a few weeks before the wedding that caused some stress and confusion, however, the owner was able to help us smooth everything out and addressed our concerns. We were very satisfied with the food, service, and overall catering for our wedding. Candice was our site coordinator and she, and her team, went above and beyond and were so friendly and helpful.

I can't sing their praises enough. Chuck was our point of contact with Festive board and he truly went above and beyond. During cocktail hour while the wedding party was getting photos with family they brought food and snacks out to us to ensure we could get something to eat. After the Ceremony, Chuck brought drinks out for myself and my bride to celebrate. As she was about to walk down the aisle he fluffed out the train on her dress. We had a buffet-style dinner but he plated us before serving any other guests. As we did our grand entrance Chuck stood to the side so he could hold the bouquet while we did our first dance. Our cake didn't arrive on time due to a mix-up and Chuck offered to run out and get one for us. I truly can't say enough amazing things about Festive Board and Chuck specifically. They also provided a bartender for the event who would keep the flavor of white claw my bride liked to one side to ensure she had enough of her favorite flavor.

Chuck, the supervisor for our wedding event did an excellent job. He clearly understood some family dynamics and checked in with us regularly. He also made sure we always had a drink in hand! The only hiccup was regarding two specialty cupcakes, a gluten-free and vegan option. The rest of the guests were being served sliced cake so there should not have been any confusion, however, when we ask for the specialty cupcakes, we were informed that the vegan one had been given to a child at the request of another guest. Our vegan guest was very gracious about the mistake, and we understand the other guest was partially responsible for demanding/assuming the cupcake was available. We also know we don’t have the full picture of the interaction. However, if the cupcakes had been held back until asked for by the guests who knew they existed, this whole situation could’ve been avoided. We want to be transparent about things you may want to reiterate during your planning sessions. Overall, our plated dinner was amazing. The food was hot, the portions were huge, and the guests were very pleased. The team also did a great job of setting up and tearing down our centerpieces. We received the leftover food as promised, and would highly recommend the Festive Board. Would not hesitate to use them again.

Phenomenal! That’s the only way to begin this review. From the first moment of speaking with Festive Board, we felt we had made a great choice. When I spoke with Ed, he was extremely welcoming, detail oriented, respected budgets, decisions, etc. We were basically set with the decision from our first phone call with Festive Board. For the wedding day, first and foremost, our caterer day-of-coordinator Chuck was absolutely amazing! From bringing us our "specific" drink right after saying "I do," to checking on our every need during the night, we could not express how appreciative and thankful we are that we decided to hire Festive Board and have Chuck as a manager for the night. There are not enough words to describe all that Chuck did to make the night incredible and run smoothly. Between our guests and ourselves, we cannot stop talking about how delicious the food was and the amount of food we received was over-the-top. Festive Board packed up all the extra food for us to take home and our guests came to collect the leftovers for days! The Festive Board staff was professional and on top of everything all night! We used the plated meal which the staff served in a quick and perfect manner. The staff was right there to clean up the tables and provide each guest with any needs. Then at the end of the night, Chuck and the staff helped clean up the decorations and collect everything to pack-up, so we were left with little to worry about. The bartender provided by Festive Board delighted us and our guests all night long with their crazy requests. She was funny and professional and a true delight. We honestly could not have asked for a better catering service for our wedding and highly recommend Festive Board to the next couple and anyone else having catering needs!

We were so happy with the service we received from Festive Board. They were so easy to talk with on the phone and made a good impression right away. We appreciated their nothing-hidden pricing. They handled my dietary restrictions without the bat of an eye and were very good at disclosing what I could or couldn't eat, as well as making some extra gluten free items for fellow wedding guests with health needs. They food was yummy and we had plenty of leftovers to enjoy on our honeymoon!

The Festive Board was wonderful to work with. From start to finish, they were easy to work with, quick with responses, and extremely helpful. The food was delicious and catering was wonderful from set up to clean up. Chuck was our day of coordinator and was fantastic! He was so attentive and made sure we had food and drinks at all times. We can't thank Chuck enough for being so incredible as well as the rest of the Festive Board staff!

Festive Board was fantastic to work with for our wedding! The food was great! Ed made the entire booking and menu choice process seamless. Chuck, the manager at our wedding, was PHENOMENAL! There was an issue with the bartender saying we “ran out” of something (we didn’t), but other than that the service was outstanding!

We choose to work with Festive Board and it was definitely a decision we do not regret! The food was PHENOMENAL! The food was the most feature that got complimented the most. The bartenders were amazing as well and the staff. They were all wonderful to work with and made the night a breeze!

I cannot say enough good things about Festive Board! From the very beginning of my experience with them, I was sold. Ed was extremely communicative and helpful in explaining their menus, services, and extras that make them so unique. Once we chose our menu, they actually sent us sample plates to the house for us to try all of our selections! Not only do they have an extensive choice of foods, they will also provide a bartender, day of coordinator, and linens in your color scheme! All at no additional cost! Our day of coordinator, Chuck, was an absolute blast to work with. He covered absolutely everything I could think of, plus a few things I didn't. He did an amazing job at finishing our table set-up, and I was literally speechless when I walked in and saw exactly what I had envisioned. He made sure that my husband and I, as well as our immediate family, had everything we needed throughout our reception, and helped all night to make sure everything ran smoothly. Chuck also made sure to serve us at our sweetheart table to make sure we ate, and even nudged me back to the table when we started talking instead of eating! Every single guest we talked to was absolutely amazed at the food (the cornbread muffins were probably the best I've ever had!) At the end of the night, he helped to tear everything down and get all of our decorations in one place to make clean-up a breeze. I am so grateful we chose Chuck and Festive Board!

This catering company was AMAZING during our reception! Very quick cleaning up and serving drink, food, etc! Chuck was absolutely amazing. He was very easy to get in contact with before the wedding. He also made my day special by helping fluff my dress for pictures and fixing my hair! Overall, we would recommend this caterer to everybody!!!

I cannot express my gratitude enough to the Festive Board team. From start to finish they were tentative and clear on the catering process. They were able to capture what we had envisioned for our day, while still being reasonably priced! I am so happy with my experience with Festive Board. I highly recommend them for any event!

I can not express how much we loved Festive Board catering. The food was amazing. The food was delicious. The staff went way above and beyond out expectations. They did so many extra things to make out daughter’s wedding perfect! I highly recommend.
