Perfect Day. The weather was perfect, the venue is perfect, the food was perfect! Couldn’t have asked for anything else for my son’s big day. Doug and crew did everything we needed but were pretty invisible. We were so pleased with everything!

We used the Fields of Blackberry Cove for our wedding on 11/5/2022. The venue is so gorgeous, I did not feel I need to add too many decorations because I loved it just the way it was. Doug was on another level of calm for the whole thing. He would listen to what we wanted and just calmly make it all happen! It rained on our wedding day and I was a little frantic about it and he just hugged me and said it was all going to be great.. and he was not wrong. He really wants to make the day as special as it can be. We got catering from him also, and the food was top notch. The bartender served great drinks, and the wait staff was so kind. Overall, everything was exceeded our expectations and helped to make our wedding day the best ever. We recommend this venue for the cost, the beauty, and the ease of the whole day!

We had the best wedding here!! Doug, Freda and their team did an AMAZING job making our wedding dreams come true. So down to earth and made you feel like family. They were very responsive and helpful from the beginning answering all my questions. And Doug had an answer for everything! They have weddings down to a science and they know what needs to be done. There is also a place for you to get ready on site which makes everything so easy. I used their in-house catering company and chose to do the buffet and it worked out perfectly. I also used their in house florist and day of planner who made sure everything went smoothly on the day of. Freda's flowers were so beautiful and exactly what I envisioned. Everyone who came to the wedding said it was the most beautiful and fun time they had ever had at a wedding and I agree!! If you are looking for a wedding that has a great view with barn/rustic vibes then HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE!! Also, if you are looking for a DJ in western NC DJ Lev did an fantastic job as well and kept us dancing all night.

The Fields of Blackberry Cove was absolutely amazing! From the minute we toured the venue, to the wedding day, everything was perfect. Doug was great at answering any and all questions we had (and trust me, we had plenty) and he was so easy going and ensured me that he had a backup plan for his backup plans and our day would be perfect no matter what. We were on a budget and he never once pushed us towards any unnecessary add-ons, and even gave us alternatives for them that we could do on our own. The food was incredible, go with this venue and do yourself a favor: go with them for catering too. It was so good and every guest made it a point to tell me how delicious everything was. We seriously could not be happier in our choice to go with the Fields of Blackberry Cove!!

Having our wedding here was the BEST choice we made for our wedding! Doug was so incredible to work with, and made us feel at ease the entire planning process. We had so much flexibility on how to plan our day there with so much included in the venue price. Our guests are still raving about how incredible the food was! The team that works there handles anything and everything you could ask for, which made us be able to focus on getting ready the morning of and not if everything was set up and ready to go. I can’t say enough amazing things about Doug and his staff as well as the location of this venue.

Honestly, we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! The venue was gorgeous, and Doug and his team were fantastic! Doug was great to work with and so easy to work with too! He answered any and all questions I had and did a killer job overall. He and his team handled all the set up which was super nice. We went with their catering too which was a great decision! Everything was delicious 😋 I truly have nothing bad to say about this venue. I do feel like I should add a note that me and my fiancée are very easy going people and for us, the wedding was about making a commitment to each other. I’d like to remind people that things happen and at the end of the day, it’s about you and your fiancée, so be kind to these lovely people at the fields of blackberry cove because at the end of the day, they’re here for you and doing everything possible to make your day as absolutely perfect as you want it to be. P.S. All of our guests kept telling us how awesome the food was and how great Doug was. It’s also a great price for what you get! Don’t hesitate to book this venue

We just had our wedding here Sunday, October 23rd with 63 guests. This was the absolute most wonderful day of my life, and Doug and his team pulled off the most beautiful and well ran wedding I (and along with my guests reviews) have ever been to. Doug had mentioned that he’s been in this field of work for around 15 or 20 years or so, and it definitely shows! Doug was extremely easy to work with and made almost all of our requests come true unless there was something major that would’ve caused issues. Because it’s busy wedding season, we did have to wait a few bit days to hear back from Doug, but that is totally understandable considering he has other weddings to tend to. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, the drive into the venue is stunning and runs along a river. Surrounded by trees and mountains, the venue is a truly magical place. Keep in mind that this is a wild and rustic venue, grounds are not super manicured like you might see at a vineyard or golf course. The barn is a very special place and looks amazing lit up at night. Again, this is an actual used old horse barn, you can see where the horses have chewed down parts of the old stalls. Tons of character! For the ceremony, we used to love and wisdom and found an amazing officiant, Sarah Judy. For food, we use Doug and his Chef and, the food was absolutely wonderful! We did barbecue, smoked chicken, a pasta bar and sides. Truly, this with some of the best wedding food I have ever had. Guests agreed! We loved Doug’s flexibility with being able to bring in your own alcohol and wedding cake. We did have to hire a bartender but that made things run super smoothly. Also did cocktail hour appetizers which were fantastic. Service staff was amazing running behind folks and cleaning up and keeping everything tidy. Things to note: you do end up parking and having to walk into the ceremony space. After that, your guests do have to walk up a small hill to get to the reception space. We reminded all of our guests to wear boots. I think Doug would have transported anyone who needed any help or anyone with disabilities (they have a few golf carts on the property). And again, this is a truly rustic space; this is exactly what we were looking for but I can imagine that some people might be expecting something different (more manicured/up to date, not sure). I truly cannot recommend this anymore. This was the wedding of our dreams and Doug and his team or eager to make all of this happen for us. And icing on the cake- Doug is so funny and kept us laughing the whole time!! Doug, thank you so much, we will remember this day!!! We will miss you! 💜💜💜 -Cameron & Koreen

I cannot say enough great things about Doug and his crew at Fields of Blackberry Cove. Doug took all of the hardship of planning a wedding and made it easy and get this...fun! The venue is stunning, nestled into the mountains with great views and loads of natural beauty. One things that I particularly loved is that everything is gorgeous as is - you can dress the venue up if you'd like but it's perfectly charming already if you're into a "less is more" vibe. Doug was beyond flexible with our ever-changing food menu and let me tell you...the food does NOT disappoint. You really do not need to bother finding outside catering unless you're absolutely set on it. I have friends reaching out to me weeks later asking me to grab some recipes from Doug. The staff was so polite and really on top of their game. I am so grateful to their attentiveness, truly rockstars. There's also plenty of space for both parties to get ready. We were never on top of each other and there was plenty of room for the stylists to do their magic. We even brought our dogs and we had enough space for them to have their own room. All in all the best experience and if you don't get married here then you're missing out on a very special place and people.

The Fields of Blackberry Cove was not only a gorgeous mountain venue, perfect for what I was looking for - private, tucked-away, with a whimsical but elegant feel - it also is run by amazing, kind staff! Doug and his crew ensured the day went perfectly and accommodated all of our needs. Many people told us afterward that it was some of the best food they had ever had (period - let alone at a wedding). The set-up was done fast and beautifully, and Doug took care of all the details to ensure things ran smoothly by staying in contact with me for months before the big day. I can't recommend this venue enough!

Doug was the MVP of our wedding weekend! Flawless communication through the app and was on top of everything we needed! He is not only a wealth of knowledge, but locally shops for all the food (it was AMAZING), does in house decorations and is super affordable!! The guests were blown away at how gorgeous his property was and he was so flexible to our wants and needs! I'd absolutely recommend this venue to any couple getting married or really any venue for a party!

Our daughter just had her ceremony and reception at The Fields of Blackberry Cove and everything went better than I would have imagined. We had friends and family from all over the country and what we heard from many was this: the best wedding I've attended. It's starts with the beautiful setting with mountain views all around. The reception was held at the Farmhouse, which includes both indoor and outdoor seating and just gives off a cool vibe. And then there is Doug, the owner. A friendly, chatty guy who has been doing this for years and it shows. You can bring in an outside caterer but you would be foolish. Doug knows what he's doing in the kitchen and our guests were not disappointed. The turkey and prime rib were delicious and two of our guests in particularly, both chefs, said it was the best food they've had at a wedding. We ran out of white wine but Doug had us covered, bringing out several bottles. As a parent you worry about how things will go during a wedding but with Doug, you don't need to. He and his staff know what they are doing and made our event a smashing hit.

The Fields of Blackberry Cove is such a lovely place! But it wasn't just the place that help us decide to use this venue, it was the owner, Doug. He was very friendly and helpful when we had questions or weren't sure of things. Overall the place was such an awesome area with great views, surrounded by mountains and friendly people willing to help with whatever was needed.

I wish we could do it all over again! Doug and Freda were both absolutely wonderful. Communication was easy, and they made our wedding vision come to life PERFECTLY. I didn't have to lift a finger the day of. Doug was incredibly flexible with my changing mind and everything went off without a hitch. We even joked that Doug must have stapled the leaves on the trees for us because our foliage was perfect. Freda knocked the flowers out of the park and the food was beyond delicious. I highly recommend!

The Fields of Blackberry Cove is such a beautiful venue. From the first day we visited, we felt welcomed by Doug and were in love with all the venue had to offer. Our ceremony had a breathtaking view of the mountains and the barn looked lovely all decorated for the reception. Having a backup location for bad weather was also a huge bonus! We used the venue for our rehearsal dinner as well, which was great. My bridal party had so much fun spending all morning in the lodge getting ready for the wedding. Freda created incredible floral arrangements and brought our dream to reality with all the flowers and decor. Doug's catering was a major highlight and everyone loved the food. Everything Doug makes is delicious and we really enjoyed the process of tasting the food a few months before the wedding. Doug and his staff will make you feel like family and do such a wonderful job ensuring the wedding goes smoothly. This venue really has it all and I couldn't imagine a better wedding day.

What a disappointing experience. I would not recommend the Fields of Blackberry Cove to any couple. My fiance and I toured this venue 8 months before our wedding day, and everything seemed great: Doug seemed super nice, the venue was beautiful, etc. We signed the paperwork and paid our $700 deposit, and were planning to have Doug as our caterer as well. Fast forward to 2 months later, and all of the sudden Doug stops responding to any forms of communication. My fiance and I tried to call, text, and email him for approximately a month and a half before we gave up and had to find another wedding venue and caterer very last-minute. We were planning this wedding from Pennsylvania, which was pretty difficult already. We contacted Doug again, in attempt to get our deposit back since we did not receive the service that we paid for. We reminded him that my fiance is in the active military and I am in graduate school, and we don't have extra $700 to spare. Needless to say, Doug never responded to us and we never received our deposit. Luckily we were able to find a different venue and caterer in time for the wedding, but I would never wish this experience for any bride or groom. So disappointing.

The reason why I booked this venue was because of the location and that it fit within my budget. Doug also let me run the show how I wanted. Every question that I had, was met with, "it's however you want it." I wanted a record ceremony under 10 mins, and I was done by 7 mins. My rehearsal definitely ran longer than that. I heard good praises from my guests on the food and the catering staff. The bartender hired for the night was nice as well. Communication was an area of opportunity for Doug. There were instances that it took him 2-3 days to respond via WeddingWire, where I had originally found him. There was rain in the forecast on the day of our wedding and I had reached out the weekend before asking how quickly we good get a tent on standby. Lucky for us the rain held off until the end of the night, because he never responded back. I DO NOT recommend their in house florist. I had originally went in with plans on doing my own florals, but Freda, their florist had me sold on her experience doing events at the Omni Grove Inn, and she was willing to work within my budget. My first red flag should have been when I had reached out via email, with pictures of what I wanted my bouquets to look like and my response was just an invoice for them. Not assurance that the job could be done to what I had in mind. At our 45 day meeting we squared away some details and I showed her what I wanted my centerpieces to look like. The most basic centerpieces known to man, a wooden cookie with three cylinder vases of floating candles in each one, and strands of greenery across it. The day of the wedding we all walked into the bridal suite and found three bouquets. Two of which were in vases not filled with water at all, and one with a plastic base/handle. I've never seen a bouquet put together that way so I picked it up to examine it only to have a flower fall off. That's when I noticed that all of the flower heads were superglued together, which there went any plans of preserving my bouquet. Because of its size, everyone was confused as to whose bouquets were whose so my maid of honor and mother in law went to take care of the situation. The interaction with Freda was not a pleasant one from what I heard. My mother in law had to keep her cool in order to get Freda to quickly whip up a new bouquet, which she was not willing to do at all. I also found out during the entire interaction she kept referring to me as "that girl" and that I had been rude to her during the entire process. My husband was in the room each meeting we had with her. Some of the flowers in the bouquet also had begun browning and wilting, as if she didn't refrigerate them prior to the event. My centerpieces were nothing like we had agreed upon at our 45 day meeting. There were vases of flowers, and one vase of floating candles at the table, which if I had asked for it it would have been fine, but it wasn't what I envisioned. The next day I couldn't help but wake up feeling as if I had been cheated on my florals. I trusted Freda, with all the experience that she had but should have just went an entirely different route. Pros: location, catering staff, food Cons: communication, in house florist I would have definitely given Doug a higher review if it wasn’t for Freda.

The Fields of Blackberry Cove was the greatest. We used the in house catering for our rehearsal and day of dinner, it was so delicious. Fresh everything, the s’mores bar was so fun. Doug was fabulous to work with. He had everything just as I imagined it would be set up for the big day. He made the whole experience very easy and laid back. Freda did my bouquet and it was the most beautiful. Highly recommend!

Doug is amazing. From the first time I reached out, to the wedding day, and even after, he always responded quickly and was kind and helpful! I can’t say enough good things about this venue. I highly recommend having Doug cater as well! We had breakfast food for our reception, and Doug’s biscuits and gravy were AMAZING, as well as the fresh omelet station and hot, delicious waffles! All made from scratch and locally sourced. Doug’s staff was very professional and helpful all throughout the night. Everything was perfect and nothing went unnoticed!

My nieces wedding this Oct was amazing! The place was beautifully landscaped and was just spectalcular! The venue..food..flowers..and staff all provided by the fields of bbc was exactly what the bride and groom dreamed of!!she is an Fla girl who spent her childhood in vermont and this venue gave her the mountains and trees and everything from her childhood she wanted for their special day! Staff was so helpful and polite ! Food was the best ever !

Doug and his team are AMAZING! I started this process clueless and they did everything to make it better. They are easy going professionals who make you feel like family instead of customers. They also catered for my wedding and the food was DELICIOUS! Fresh farm to table food! From the beautiful property to the endless help , I highly recommend.

It's unfortunate to leave a business a poor rating especially in today's times, but if it saves other people some major headaches with wedding planning in this global crisis then so be it. I had planned on having a wedding in Asheville in a few months but obviously with the pandemic happening and state regulations which prevent large gatherings, we decided to cancel our event. I started reaching out to Doug (the owner of the venue) several months prior well in advance of our wedding date and assumed that he would be very responsive, as he had been in the past. My initial interactions with Doug last year were very pleasant to be honest, so I was completely shocked when I was all of a sudden ghosted. I left multiple voicemails and sent numerous emails, and Doug was completely unhelpful and unresponsive. I ended up having to file a "new event" request with an alternate phone number to get him to call me back, and of course he did call back thinking that it was a new customer. When we spoke to him over the phone about returning our deposit, he said he was going to think it over and give us a call back per his promise within 36 hours. Of course he never called, and we are back to square one. All of my other wedding vendors have been reasonable in working with us during this crazy time with deposits etc, but Doug has been extremely shady in not even wanting to enter into a dialogue about the situation. The wedding industry is filled with options in terms of venue choices, so let me tell you, look elsewhere for a venue. The last thing you want when planning a wedding is to not be able to get in touch with your vendors in a crisis, and Doug has really shown his true colors.

The Fields of Blackberry Cove is an exceptional venue. Doug and his mother Freda went above and beyond to make our day perfect. We loved and greatly appreciated their honesty and their commitment to making our day what we wanted. We even had Doug do our catering which was a big hit with all of our family and friends. Doug has a absolutely beautiful gem of a venue tucked away in the mountains. We got married Oct 27 th and the leaves were at there peak which was made the venue even better than it already was. This. Place. Is. Amazing. I planned my wedding from across the country, and Doug was completely on top of things and made everything so easy. Once we got there, Doug and Ken were the most helpful, delightful, and accommodating people I've met. They anticipated needs and went above and beyond to make sure we had the perfect day. Not to mention, they're hilarious and really make you feel like you've been friends your entire life. The food and service were amazing, tasty, and impeccable. The staff were polite, smiling, and incredibly helpful. The clasp on my dress broke, and as I was waiting for my aunt to find a safety pin, the bartender had already found me one and a server was fastening my dress together before my aunt returned. We would not have changed a single thing about this day. I would recommend this venue and these people to anyone. And I have no doubt that I have will have lasting relationships with these amazing people.

The views, the service, & accommodations were all superior! We felt so understood each time we met with the Douglas, Freda & the entire Blackberry fields team. Great communication & support. We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding venue!!!!!!!

I wish I could give Doug and the Fields of Blackberry Cove 10 stars. I truly struggle finding the words to express how wonderful Doug & Ken are and how easy it was to work with them. Every one of our guests told us how amazing the venue was, but the scenery is only a part of what makes this venue so special. As with any family, mine has a fair amount of baggage. Doug transported-- personally-- my 94 year old grandfather from the parking area, to the ceremony site, to the reception area, to the bathroom (multiple times) and back to the parking area. He did this all while deftly navigating a tumultuous relationship between his children (who don't speak to one another). Even my [incredibly high-strung] mother fell in love with Doug's accommodation, humility, and incredibly gentle/kindhearted nature. While I was getting dressed, I realized I hadn't polished a family bracelet I intended to wear. Without hesitation (and before I could get upset with myself for forgetting), Doug took the bracelet and polished it beyond expectation within an hour. Doug & Ken also seamlessly integrated with all the vendors; from the caterer to the dessert bakery, from the wedding planner to the DJ, from the photographers to the guests' transportation shuttle, Doug & Ken made it so no one could detect each service was provided by a disparate vendor. He swiftly dealt with a waitress having "an issue" before I, my husband, or any of the guests knew of it (I didn't find out until much later after it had been resolved!). Doug & Ken also showcased the grounds for the bridesmaids and groomsmen such that they could access (and find) the premium photo spots. He escorted the photographers around the beautiful grounds as well to ensure they were familiar with the various lighting and scenery so my husband and I could capitalize on the area's natural beauty while finding the best spots for our first photos as newlyweds. Without a doubt, Doug & Ken are amongst the most genuine people with whom I have ever had the pleasure (and honor) to work. We have already recommended them to several family & friends! Our wedding was amazing; wholeheartedly I can attribute its success to Doug & Ken and the Fields of Blackberry Cove.

This venue is outstanding. We had our dream fall mountain wedding here. The views are stunning, the people are friendly, and the price is right. Doug, Freda , and Ken made our day so perfect. Freda doubled as our florist and day of coordinator and helped everything run smoothly and look beautiful with rustic and natural flowers. My bouquet was better than I had even imagined and the floral decorations on our arbor were breath taking. Doug and his staff prepared a delicious feast of salmon, skirt steak and seasonal sides including a to die for butternut squash soup. Doug makes the best homemade bread I have ever had in my life and he always had some for us every time we came out to visit the venue over the course of our planning. The staff were so professional and kind, I felt welcomed by every single one of them. If you're considering this venue just book it! You won't be disappointed, these folks and the space they have is exactly the type of good energy you need around you on your special day!

When my husband and I first came across the Fields of Blackberry Cove website online we just had a feeling that it would be a magical place to get married, and we were right! The property is absolutely gorgeous. There are wide-open spaces with stunning views of the mountains, we couldn’t have asked for anything more. On top of the venue itself being the perfect place to say ”I do”, the owner Doug and his team were phenomenal!!! They bent over backwards to not only make us happy, but to accommodate all of our guests as well. Since our wedding day I have heard numerous stories from people who Doug and his team impressed. When we first read other reviews about Doug and this venue online I thought it all seemed too good to be true, but The Fields of Blackberry Cove really is everything people described! We would recommend this venue to any and everyone!!! ❤️❤️❤️

Wow! Where to start! This place was THE BEST!! We loved working with Doug, Freda, and Ken! They made planning so easy and stress free! They were fun to work with and have so much experience! They made plenty of recommendations so we could chose easily what we wanted for our day! The day of was a huge success! We had Doug do our food as well and got so many compliments! The venue is so beautiful and we could not have chosen a better place! Would choose Fields of Blackberry Cove again and again if we could! Thanks so much!!

This venue was the best! We did a destination wedding in September 2019 and the view was amazing! Doug was the best and so helpful. He made sure I had nothing to worry about the day of and everything was perfect. We used them for catering as well and it was fantastic! Their food is delicious! Everything about this venue was perfect!

The wedding of my daughter and her fiance at The Fields of Blackberry Cove was everything we had hoped for! Doug was great to work with and he made sure everything was perfect. It was a beautiful setting with the backdrop of the mountains, great food, beautiful flowers, a fun DJ, experienced photographer, and wonderful wait staff, all recommendations of the venue. The Fields of Blackberry Cove was the most beautiful venue. We didn't have to do much set up. They had vanities, arbors, hay bails, benches, buckets, lights, tables, table clothes.....everything that you could possibly image to make your special day just as you pictured it. Doug was also a wonderful host. He met me in the barn before walking down to my husband with water and words of encouragement. It was truly the most magical day and I would recommend this venue to any couple that has a gorgeous outdoor, barn, mountainous scenery in mind.

Doug and Ken were both very professional and very fun! They did an amazing job making sure we had everything we needed and decorated the venue so well. They really think of every detail. There is a really nice lodge where the bridal parties can get ready with plenty of room for everyone and separate areas for the bride and her crew and the groom and his crew. Everything was very clean and the view of the mountains from the property was breathtaking. We also hired them for our catering as well and the food was incredible! Our guests were talking about how good the food was for days after the wedding. I would recommend them 100 times over!

Booking The Fields of Blackberry Cove for our venue was the best decision that we made for our wedding. We booked, sight unseen and could not be happier with our choice. Doug and Freda worked tirelessly for us from day one. I was starting a new job, moving and getting married in a very short time, so they dealt with me and my Mom a LOT. They were happy to set up phone calls with her and answer any and all of our questions. They took out the stress of setting up our DJ, photographer and florist, all of whom were PERFECT for us. Doug also catered for us and the food was absolutely delicious. The day of, we were blessed with a somewhat rainy day. I was determine to have the outdoor mountain wedding of our dreams. They worked with us so that we were able to have the perfect wedding ceremony. They worked so hard for us and we are so elated. Thank you thank you thank you for the best day! If you are looking for a perfect place for an Asheville wedding, look no further! Do yourself a favor and book them.

The Fields of Blackberry Cove was an absolute dream venue for our wedding. The venue is absolutely gorgeous (pictures don't do it justice!), the team will do everything in their power to make your day the best day of your life (shoutout to Doug for being outstanding!), and the food is amazing!! You definitely cannot do better than this venue for the price, I highly recommend it!

Doug, Freda, and Ken made our day absolutely perfect! We couldn’t have been happier. They were so easy to work with and made us feel special!

Doug and his team were so much better than we could have even hoped! He was always avalaible for a question, every time we were at the venue we felt very welcomed. The day of he helped guide everything into place, he really goes above and beyond. Our officiant was an hour late to rehersal so he stepped in and showed us all what to go over. I really could not say enough great stuff about him to be honest. And, of course, their catering team lead by him were superb. We wrote a menu and they made their version of it, everyone was asking who catered! My wedding was a massive success in part because of Doug, 11/10 would recommend!

Doug and Ken were fantastic! The venue is gorgeous and surrounded by mountains. Doug is very accommodating and thoughtful- I caught a cold the day of my wedding and he made me a few cups of a delicious tea to soothe my throat. I had a few guests that needed golf cart assistance and his staff never failed to be at their service. I had a complete diy wedding and my planner wasn't super helpful but thankfully Doug stepped in and made things happen (I would def. recommend using their planning services verses an outside company just bc they were so helpful with everything I can only imagine how much more stress-free it would have been with having them plan and organize). I can't thank them enough- my day was simply unforgettable and just perfect.

We couldn’t be happier with our choice to use Fields of Blackberry Cove as our venue, and our guests certainly agreed. From the get-go it was clear we’d made the right choice. The venue itself is beautiful. The view of the valley across is splendid and the grounds are maintained to a high standard. There’s an old oak tree on the lawn that is gigantic. It’s awe-inspiring. Plus, the barn/reception area can fit any needs. It is flexible in terms of style yet consistently retains an aura of rustic, which really lends itself well to photography. With the way lighting is set up, photos come out beautiful. Moreover, Doug and his staff are top-notch. They were exceedingly helpful and are very kind people. From day one, they answered every question we had, gave us recommendations for other vendors to use and really guided us through the wedding planning process. They helped us with table organization, floral arrangements, paperwork required, etc - it’s a long list of items. Freda is the “day of coordinator” and mother of the venue-owner. We HIGHLY recommend hiring Freda Baker. She is organized, she knows the wedding game and she knows how to make a couple happy! She was an angel to work with and truly helped made our day stress free! We also catered through Fields (Doug) and the food was splendid. The quality was superb for every single item we purchased. One quote I received from a friend was “I knew you said it was good, but I didn’t realize it’d be that good.” The service from Doug was exceptional as well. In fact, one of our items had an ingredient discontinued by his supplier so he made it himself! We were floored and really grateful. He is a true foodie and his twists on classic wedding dishes were perfect! If you're looking for a venue, look no further! This is the perfect wedding venue!

This was a no-brainer. After having several family members get married at The Fields of Blackberry Cove, I had to take my fiance to meet Doug and show her the venue. Instantly she fell in love, and decided that day that this was the venue for us. The entire process was simplified by Doug and the team making the tough decisions easy and the easy decisions easier. On wedding day they worked tirelessly making sure that we were taken care of and that the event went off without a hitch-which it did. If you desire a mountain wedding, this is the place for you!

Doug and his team know how to put on a wedding! The views from the Fields are amazing. Dreams really do come true here, they had everything set up exactly as imagined. We used his team for everything from flowers, food, planning..it was spectacular! People are still talking about our wedding.

Doug was AMAZING and the venue is gorgeous! We had so many compliments on the venue, the ceremony, the reception, the food, etc- and I couldn't take any credit. Doug took care of everything for us and it was all beautiful and perfect. I couldn't have wished for anything better. Freda did our coordination and it was a dream. Hopefully I only get married once, but I had to, I would definitely do it again at the Fields of Blackberry Cove.

Our experience at The Fields of BlackBerry Cove was flawlessly executed by Doug and his team. Everything was five stars! Freda kept the day running beautifully and provided us with all of our decor. They went above and beyond in every way. The staff was helpful, kind and treated our guests amazingly. Doug and Ken are the best! They were so helpful and made sure that the wedding day was wonderful and stress free. They take great care of the bride and groom and make sure everything is perfect for them! My wedding day could not have been more perfect!

This was without a doubt the best venue I've seen. I've looked at others but once I met with Doug and saw the feilds at BlackBerry Cove i instantly fell in love with it. To the lights in the barn all the way to the mountains in the background. He has alot of options and is always there to answer questions as you plan your wedding. On our wedding day he made our wedding flow smoothly and it was an amazing time and everything we had hoped and dreamed it would be. I highly recommend this venue! ❤❤

I cannot express enough how much we loved our wedding here. Freida, Doug, Ken, and the rest of the staff were amazing. They put up with my planning (craziness) for almost a year and never made me feel like I was a bother. We also used them for the food catering and everyone raved about it. The views from the barn were gorgeous and provided the perfect backdrop for pictures. You can have a beautiful wedding here no matter what your budget is. We highly recommend Blackberry Cove.

Doug and Freda were awesome. They have the prettiest venue and great personalities. They're laid back and let me enjoy the process of planning everything for our big day, and made it as stress free as it could be.

Doug is the most amazing man to work with! He did so much and was so helpful! Things you don’t think of, he does for you and has stories to prove! If I had to do it all over again I would hands down do it at Blackberry Cove every time!

Wow. This is the most beautiful wedding venue I have ever seen. Doug and his staff made my special day the best day of my life. The barn is already predecorated with twinkle lights and white cloth hanging from the ceiling. Your decorations needed are very minimal. Even on a snowy day it was like a dream. Oh and please do yourself a favor and use Doug as your caterer. His food is fantastic. Never a disapointment. I tasted other highly rated caterers and none compare to his delicious food.

I was so amazed with the Fields of Blackberry Cove. From the first day of arriving there just to take a look I felt special, like every bride should. Doug was so pleasant to speak to and never made me feel like I was bothering him. He answered all my questions at any given time. On my day, it was so relaxing and I loved that I had everything in one place. Getting ready, ceremony and reception all in one place.....why not! Also, Doug has everything you could possibly think of. I did not have many vendors due to the fact of him having everything. Him and his staff know what they are doing and they stay busy because of this. Could not and would not have wished/asked for a better venue.

Once we saw the Fields of Blackberry Cove, we knew that was where we were getting married. It has so much natural beauty the we really didn’t need to have many decorations at all, which we thought was a bonus. Doug and his team are AMAZING and will no doubt make sure you have the best experience possible!

My husband and I picked The Fields of Blackberry Cove because it is beautiful, the owners are great, and the price was in our budget. We got married on Nov 22 and it was the best day we could have hoped for. Everyone says planning is so horrible but it wasn't in our case. The staff was extremely helpful with details and providing a list of vendors that worked out wonderfully. I'm so thankful to Doug, Ken, and Freda because they listened to what we wanted to make our special day ours and they made it happen! I would absolutely recommend this venue to anyone who wants a beautiful wedding and awesome people to help you.

I would highly recommend this venue! Doug is extremely helpful, the suggestions he gives for vendors are all wonderful, and his sense of humor makes the planning process more fun. All the staff are kind and professional. The venue is absolutely beautiful and very affordable for the usually pricey area!
