The team placed all of our décor perfectly—everything looked stunning and exactly how we imagined it. ickly made the decision to book. Throughout the planning process, Lisa and Molly were always on deck to quickly answer any questions we had, and truly made the whole process easier. Our tasting was a wonderful experience with the introduction to various dishes and on-on-one service. The information exchange in the month leading up to the wedding was very easy, and despite the (typical) stress in that time both Lisa and Molly were so calm and helped guide us when needed. We had numerous guests take advantage of the room block and received positive comments on the rooms. We also upgraded our room to a Promenade room and were very pleased with the larger suite for getting ready in the morning. The waitstaff, bartenders, and maître d’ (Joanne), made everything seamless during cocktail hour and the reception, and Joanne took great care of us throughout dinner! The food was excellent, and numerous guests told us how much they loved cocktail hour, particularly the raw bar, and the entrees – the braised short rib was a hit! We felt taken care of from the check-in meeting, to the ceremony, to the reception. We are so thankful to everyone at the Flanders for making our wedding day so special!

We had SO SO SO many people come tell us how great everything was multiple times and how much fun it was. and the FOOD, everyone said it was the best food they ever had at a wedding!

Lisa, Molly, Joanne and the rest of the team made this wedding a dream. The attention to detail, the seamless flow, the service, the food, the rooms...I can't say enough good things. They thought of things that didn't even cross my mind and would have been a shame to have forgotten. My daughter and I got to enjoy the weekend, knowing that we weren't going to have to do or worry about anything. We also took advantage of the onsite salon and spa. Amy, Heather and Judy were so nice and helpful. I got my makeup done at 7am and it was still flawless when I washed it off at midnight. My hair held up too despite being out in the wind on the boardwalk for photos! If you are planning to get married in Ocean City, NJ, the only place to hold your event is at the Flanders!

They made the wedding planning process easy with their list of recommended vendors and they were responsive and communicative throughout. The food is all incredible, the taste of the boardwalk at the end of the night was so unique and special! They ensured our wedding day was seamless and stress-free by handling lots of details and coordination. They even had some decor we could use instead of worrying about buying and bringing our own! The space is so beautiful and our guests all had an amazing time. The Flanders obviously hosts a lot of weddings, but they really make a point to make you feel special and taken care of. Don't hesitate to book them!!

We truly felt like we were in the best hands and The Flanders definitely delivered. More than one guest told us ours was the best wedding they had ever attended. We felt the same! ost venues- having the dance floor separate from the dining area allowed so much space and a great experience for our guests. From the cocktail hour, to dinner, to dessert + boardwalk snacks, and breakfast, the food was phenomenal! Cooking for almost 300 guests is no easy task and the chef absolutely nailed it. They provided great vendor recommendations and we were thrilled with everyone we chose! Having your reception at a hotel creates a whole new dynamic to your wedding weekend- the suites were spacious, comfortable and great to get ready in for the big day. Our guests took over most of the hotel and it was so nice to have everyone + everything in one place! Although Ocean City is a dry town- ordering alcohol was an absolute breeze and allowed up to be able to personalize exactly what we wanted. Flanders was everything we hoped for and more! We had the most amazing weekend and would recommend this venue to anyone, hands down. Thank you again for the best weekend!

ake our romantic, winter wedding vision come true. They genuinely want you and your guests to have the best day ever. They handled everything perfectly and we felt we were in the best hands. All of our guests could not get over the service, food, and attentiveness of the staff. FIVE STARS! They even packed everything up at the end of the night for us and had it waiting for us the next day and even sent some of it to our rooms. We honestly had nothing to worry about the day of our wedding, they handled everything!! The Flanders Hotel does it all and they do it WELL. If you are getting married at the Jersey Shore this is the place to do it! Thank you again for the wedding of our dreams!!!!

made our choices and tastings seamless. She made suggestions when we were not sure of something and explained what both the bride and groom and the guests would appreciate the most. Lisa kept in touch with things that needed to be taken care of early on and never hesitated to answer our questions immediately no matter how small or inconsequential they may have been. Fast forward to about 6 weeks before the wedding. Megan, every few days, gently prodded us on what she still needed from us and a schedule for what we needed to submit. If it had not been for these constant communications this wedding would not have happened. The bride works 50 to 60 hours a week. Megan just said she understood and stayed in constant contact with us. She met with us two days before the wedding. We still had stuff that needed to be given to her and she just calmly told us all would be well. The day before the wedding came and the groom brought in his own photo booth, signing board, and scaffolding for the windows that would contain the seating charts. Everything was set up for him: a table for the signing board, a spot for the photo booth, and a discussion and great placement of the scaffolding. The windows were not finished and the bride and I were panicking. Megan and Lisa said to send them the names and they would take care of it. The bride thought she had sent them but as we came back from pictures (one hour before the reception) Lisa met us at the door to say they had not received them. Lisa and Megan supplied the bride with paper and pen and she would write down one table at a time hand it to Megan until all were finished. Megan even tried to match the bride's handwriting on the windows! Now comes the reception! Amazing! The food was exceptional along with the service. We had a raw bar that never ran out in addition to butlered appetizers and appetizer stations. The bride and groom chose a mac and cheese bar (a chef individually prepared portions of mac and cheese adding up to 10 toppings). I was skeptical but it was a hit! Our main courses were filet, Chilean sea bass and herb chicken. Everything was delicious. Every allergy was addressed even those we did not find out about until the night of the reception. The progression of events went exactly as Megan had said they would. We had to do nothing ourselves and felt like royalty with the way we were treated. In the room where we went to line up to enter the reception, was a full tray of the appetizers which I had not had time to eat and I was really appreciative that I got to finally munch on a few! I am still receiving texts and emails from our guests raving about the wedding. At the end of the wedding a group from the Flanders took all gifts, cards, left overs,etc. up to our room and even put things needing to be refrigerated in the refrigerator. There are so many more things I could say but I think I got my point across. This was the most phenomenal wedding I have ever attended because of the folks who work at the Flanders! My daughter will have this wonderful memory all of her life! One more thing, the folks at the front desk were also great: answering questions, giving out gift bags, etc.! Have your reception here. You will not regret one minute of it!

All of our guests LOVED the Hors D'oeuvres and platters offered during this time. We then had our dinner & reception in the Garden Room which was absolutely beautiful! Flanders decorated the space beautifully with navy blue linens, white napkins, gold chargers, and their house gold centerpieces. Our introductions and Grand Entrance were done by walking down a beautiful staircase into the Garden Room which was romantic and sweet. All of the food was very good, and we received many compliments on our wedding. Guests also LOVED the hotel rooms, especially for people with children. The suites made it so easy for guests to spend time with each other in their rooms, as they had a small kitchen & living room space. It was such a great location to have a wedding, and all of our out-of-town guests enjoyed Ocean City. I wouldn't have changed anything about my wedding and would highly recommend Flanders!!

Her team stopped boardwalk traffic during the ceremony procession and did a stunning job of setting up the cocktail hour/reception space. The food was bountiful and delicious with many guests commenting how it was the best wedding food they’ve ever tasted. At the end of the night, the staff even brought all our decorations up to the bridal suite which was super convenient. Thanks again for making our big day truly one to remember!

We opted to get the enhanced package which added several additional options to our cocktail hour, and the "taste of the boardwalk" additional dessert display. Our Cocktail hour was hosted in the Promenade and was absolutely amazing. They were even able to capture the essence of our dog in the form of an ice sculpture!! Our reception was hosted in both of the ballrooms which were gorgeous and really made our wedding feel so elegant. Our Rehearsal dinner and Post-Wedding breakfast were hosted in the Garden room. The Staff at the Flanders is amazing and everyone was so welcoming. I HIGHLY recommend the Flanders to everyone!

ollowing a 2020 postponement to thinking about and nailing every detail. The library where we had our ceremony and ballroom were beautiful and the service and flow of the evening was flawless. Not to mention, the food at The Flanders is the best(!) -- from the cocktail hour raw to sea bass and filet dinners; many of our guests said it was the best wedding food they ever had! The Flanders delivered beyond our expectation in making our wedding a truly memorable event for us and our guests.

's wedding. The quantity and quality of the food was excellent and Karen was right on top of things in coordinating the rehearsal and the actual event the day of. Her interaction with all of us gave it a more personal feel. Karen and Anne work closely with the vendors on their preferred list which made the event even more effortless - they and vendors knew each other on a first name basis. are also not very helpful. If you are planning a wedding for the first time and don't know where to begin, don't expect any help or communication regarding what you need to/should do. The "coordinators" are just a sales team to get you to choose them and spend with them. At the end of the day we had a beautiful wedding and they worked with us to ensure we had all we needed. But in retrospect I would not have selected this venue if I had known how much trouble we would encounter.

She made the entire process simple and let us customize the day to be exactly what we wanted. Anne and Lisa were also amazing to work with on our wedding weekend and they made sure everything was running smoothly. On our wedding day I felt like I didn't need to worry about a single thing. We were running a little bit late, but I was never made to feel that way and the goal of everyone around seemed to be that I had everything I needed. On top of all of that, our guests could not stop raving about the food! At every event we've been to since then people still tell us how much they loved the food. Highly, highly recommend! I would trust Karen and the entire staff at the Flanders for any of my future events in a heartbeat!

our wedding due to COVID and it was totally worth the wait!! Our ceremony was supposed to be outside on the beach and unfortunately due to weather we had to have it inside. The staff worked extremely hard to make the ceremony perfect and intimate! The food was absolutely amazing. From the cocktail hour to dinner, all the food was so delicious. Our guests raved about the food and couldn’t stop complimenting it. Our guests loved the Taste of the Boardwalk, the Raw Bar, and the Mac n Cheese bar. It was so unique and so delicious!! Karen was so awesome to work with. She is honest and will make your wedding perfect! She always made us a priority and made sure we were taken care of the whole time. The head chef was also great and made sure we loved the menu for our special day. I am so lucky to have had my perfect/dream wedding at the Flanders Hotel!!

e had our wedding ceremony in the Board Room, appetizer hour in the Promenade and the reception in the Garden Room. We also had access to the tea room for our Ketubah signing. All the rooms are special in their own way - the Board Room and Promenade are like stepping back in history - truly magnificant rooms. The Garden Room was perfect for our guest count of 80. On top of everything, the Flanders provides lists of approved vendors such as DJs and Photographers. You can tell they have done their research because all of our vendors were great. We are so glad we chose the Flanders and now we will always look back on our wedding day with joy and happiness. Our guests all told us how much fun they had and how great the food was. We're already talking about coming back for our anniversary each year.

Finally on May 1st, 2021, with the help of Karen and the amazing staff at the Flanders, our dream wedding finally came to life! It was the most perfect day! We wished we could rewind and do it all again. Everything we truly wanted, we got, thanks to the Flanders wedding team! Our guests complimented us on everything from the beautiful atmosphere, to the food, drinks, and staff! We had the best experience and thanks to Karen and the team we won’t be remembering all of the drama! Only wonderful memories of our perfect wedding day!

are amazing. They are so easy to work with and were such a big help throughout the entire planning process. I was so worried about Ocean City being a dry town and was under the impression that getting the alcohol would be difficult. I couldn't have been more wrong. The Flanders put us in touch with Circle Liquors and we were able to serve every single beverage we wanted at our wedding. It even ended up being cheaper for us to do it this way. Circle Liquors delivered to the Flanders and picked up. We did not have to do anything other than decide what we wanted and give our guest count. Guests raved about the food for days. The space was decorated beautifully. They had two huge, real, flock Christmas trees. The Flanders put us in touch with our amazing photographer. The suites in the hotel are amazing. Having everything in one location made it so easy and enjoyable for our guests. I could go on and on. Our day could not have been more perfect. Choosing the Flanders was the best decision we made.
