The Flower Cottage not only created the most beautiful arrangements for our wedding day, but also coordinated the wedding day! Peggy & Whitney and their team went above and beyond to make sure that our flowers were stunning and that our day ran smoothly. Whitney kept me 100% sane so I could truly relax and enjoy myself. My bouquet, the boutonnieres, the arbor, etc were simply gorgeous. I could not have asked for anything more!!!

Hiring the Flower Cottage is a must for your wedding day!! As true Charleston locals, who have been in the business for many years- they are serious experts at all things weddings and florals. Peggy is so talented and was able to bring my dream wedding florals to life with just explaining to her what my favorite flowers are and the vibe of my wedding. Whitney was such a wonderful planner to work with, very easy going and organized!! They both made the whole experience such a breeze. Absolutely the best people in Charleston. They helped us out during covid a lot by changing what we wanted and helped with vendors, she even gave us the contact of who we used for our cake. I believe they went above and beyond and so thankful for them

The Flower Cottage overall did a good job for my wedding. The only provided the flowers, as we did not hire any wedding coordinators. The flowers were beautiful and looked very nice together. However, I think the service could be better and more efficient. Communication was not the best. I know providing flowers for a wedding is a lot, but I feel that I had to keep correcting the quote drafts. Either the notes or numbers were incorrect or there was an item missing altogether. We were also almost randomly charged an extra $300 that I thankfully caught before we paid. My bridal bouquet was the one item I was not satisfied with. It was not the shape/style we had discussed, but it was still beautiful and I wasn't going to let it ruin my big day! My venue also complained to me that they were rude when they came for set up. The final product turned out great, but the process could have definitely been smoother.

I recently hired this business for our wedding flowers and day-of coordinator services. Overall, we were incredibly happy with the value of the flowers. They matched my 'vision' to a tee, and were just beautiful at the ceremony and reception. I would not use this business for coordinating services based on what I hope was a one-off experience. Lovely shop, lovely people, and they are my new go-to in town for floral arrangements.

The Flower Cottage is amazing!!!! Locally owned family business with great customer service (for those who aren't from here, they know ALL about Charleston and great networking.) They took my vision and turned it into real life only even better than I could have imagined! They know their flowers and will work with you to come up with the best center pieces and flower arrangements for your type of event. They are very experienced and knowledgeable and I just can't say enough good things about them! Thank you so much Peggy and Linda for making my wedding and reception SO beautiful!!

I was recommended to call The Flower Cottage by the owner of 2 Meeting Street Inn, which turned out to be a fantastic suggestion. I didn't research my flower vendors until a couple of months before our event and hired The Flower Cottage a month before our wedding. I was very clear on what I wanted. Having researched styles, colours, types of flowers and then "meeting" with Linda (phone) she helped me bring my vision to a plan. She spent time listening to my vision and made great suggestions on how to enhance it. We had several phone meetings, exchanged pictures, pricing and in the end, I place my trust in her to deliver. The day or our wedding she had everything delivered to the historic Rice Mill, she workded with Jenna in setting up all the arrangements and to help transform the Rice Mill into a romantic dream. I live in Toronto which made this process that much more challenging, I had to trust my vendors and hope that they would deliver what they said they would. Well, The Flower Shop, headed up by Linda, delivered the most beautiful flower arrangements, bouquets, candle arrangements, etc, we couldn't have been happier with their product and services.

The flowers were absolutely beautiful at the church and in all of our bouquets. We had center pieces on each table at the reception, and they were absolutely exquisite. I wanted a simple center piece that consisted of three vases with floating calla lilies and candles. They were exactly what I was looking for!! Linda did my flower consultation. She took the time to show me exactly what each flower looked like, as flowers are not something that I have a wide range of knowledge. She pulled examples up online and from around the shop. It made picking out the flowers very easy. I would recommend The Flower Cottage to anyone who is getting married in the Charleston area. As a side note, Linda also does "day of" coordinating as a separate service. We hired her to take care of everything on the day of our wedding, and I didn't have to answer a single question or deal with any issue all night... She allowed me to enjoy my evening.

The Flower Cottage did an amazing job with all of our flowers and decor at the church and reception. They listened to our likes and dislikes from start to finish and were absolutely essential in making our day so beautiful! My daughter and I were so ecstatic when we first saw the bride and bridesmaid bouquets! We had spent many hours with Linda and Peggy at their shop discussing our vision and the result was spectacular. The flowers at the church and reception were beyond our expectations. We received so many compliments all evening long on the centerpieces at the reception, they were so beautiful. Peggy is so creative and high energy. She knows her flowers and gave us so many choices and great suggestions. We loved her idea of wrapping the bouquets with the fabric from the dresses; such an extra special touch and attention to detail. She also added extra bling to the centerpiece vases that really set them off. We so appreciated their on-time delivery at all the different locations that we requested. My daughter and I both agree that working with Linda and Peggy was a great experience!

I used the flower cottage for my wedding for my bridal bouquet and two arrangements for the church. Very disappointed in this business. When I was charged an extra amount on my credit card that I did not authorize I decided to call to inquire why. Linda was extremely rude, I told her I wasnt satisfied that my bouquet came out a pepto bismol pink color instead of the white and pale pink I asked for plus several of the flowers were already dying and wilting and the arrangements did not look like the ones pictured on their website. Almost $500 is a lot to pay for 3 items and have them be less then par. I would not have wanted to write this review if Linda hadnt been so rude and unprofessional when I called but that is not any way to treat a customer. I will surely be advising people to use a different florist.

The flower cottage was very fun to work and I always enjoyed visiting their shop or talking to them on the phone. However, they were horrible at getting back to me and repeatedly asked me to call them back on a different day. When my friend went to pick up the order on Saturday morning as we had discussed several times, it was not completed. She had to stand around for an hour while they quickly made the corsages, boutonnieres, and one arrangement. They were beautiful and I was very happy with them and the price was reasonable compared to other flower venders. I just felt they could have been more prepared and prompt with communicating.

Peggy was great! She really took my vision and made it a reality. I wanted modern looking floral arrangements which she created, lots of lush tropical arrangements and she was able to easily work within my budget. I got soooo many compliments on my flowers - I highly reccommend the Flower Cottage to other brides!
