The Franklin of Soulard

elf!! As a dancer myself, and someone who grew up in theaters, the Franklin was my favorite, as the elegant, vintage, timeless feels as soon as you walk in. The "Cherry on Top" that sold us, was the staff. The owners are the most genuine, organized, and uplifting people. Our day of coordinator, Emily, was a god send. Our wedding was perfect, because of the staff, and all of the small accommodations they made possible, and all of the small details they put into motion. Having the Franklin for our venue gave us the "Disney World" feeling.

ause it is such a beautiful venue, but what the team is what tipped us over the edge to select them for our wedding. Every step of the way, the team at the Franklin made us feel so special - no ask was too big, no detail too small to worry about. We planned our wedding living out of state, and never felt out of the loop or that it made anything more difficult. From the start, Cate made sure to host virtual showings for us, sent us plenty of pictures and videos of the venue, and even hosted our moms for an in-person tour. The Franklin caters for their events in-house, and we had the BEST tasting experience! They included sides not yet on their menu, and even let us select them for our wedding menu! The food at our wedding was EXACTLY the amazing quality it was at our tasting! They jumped on board with every idea we had that helped make our wedding "ours." A personalized neon sign for the green wall? "We love it! We'll get it hung up for you!" Beer bucket center pieces for each table? "Such a cool idea, we'll get all the ice in the buckets before cocktail hour for you!" Personal cast iron skillet cookies rather than wedding cake? "Let us set up the heat lamp table for you so they stay warm for everyone!" Our wedding would not have felt nearly as personal without their enthusiasm for making it special for us! Christina and Emily made sure that we were comfortable and taken care of throughout the whole wedding day. They made sure we had drinks if needed and kept us on time with reminders of upcoming moments. All of this was done in a way that let us enjoy the day and not have to worry about anything! They saw to every moment, every detail, and every guest. We cannot give The Franklin and their team enough praise. They handled every single detail, vendor, and guest request to make sure we had the best wedding day ever. We're so impressed with their flexibility, attention to detail, professionalism, and experience. The Franklin is a beautiful venue run by even more beautiful people!

Our guests could not stop talking about how wonderful the staff was, how quickly the team served such a large group during dinner, how good the drinks and food were (especially our signature cocktails!), and how insanely beautiful and romantic the venue is. ely stunning, from the high ceilings and wood floors, to the get-ready room and the bathrooms. All of the details were beautiful. The food was such a highlight, and we are still getting compliments from our family and friends on how good it was. The venue is also super spacious and easily held our 150 people, with a lot of room to spare. Everyone on the team was so easy to work with, communicative, and helpful every step of the way, from the coordinators to the bartenders to the wait staff. They especially made set up and tear down quick and easy. The Franklin helped to make it the perfect day!!

The bridal suite is a beautiful space and such a perk to be able to get ready in, the food was delicious, the entire staff was friendly and kind, and I feel like I need to pull out a thesaurus to find more nice words to say about the Franklin! We'd do it all over again in a heartbeat and grateful doesn't even begin to cover how we feel. Thank you a million!!!

When we met Christina and Danny on our tour we pretty much knew immediately that the Franklin was perfect for our wedding day not only because the venue is absolutely stunning (which it 100% is) but also because of how much Christina and Danny cared about their work and making our day special. Leading up to our wedding we had our tasting which was so much fun and felt like an event in itself, we worked with Cate and Emily (members of the Franklin management team) on our final details which made the day go so smoothly, had our decoration set up (they were so accommodating with time and giving us access to anything we needed, it made everything so easy), and lastly our rehearsal which Emily helped lead and with her guidance we were in and out in no time with all of the knowledge and practice we needed for the big day! And as if all of that wasn’t amazing our wedding day was so perfect largely because of how much work the franklin team put in for us. They helped us with anything we asked and worked with our vendors beautifully. The food was fantastic, Emily helped with day of coordination and was flawless, and the rest of the team was onsite almost the whole day. Our guests (and us of course) were so blown away by the venue and the team. If you have a wedding coming up PLEASE check out this venue and meet their team you will not regret it!

l the staff at the Franklin are so helpful, nice, and very communicative. Christina and the team were always there for any questions we had and were so helpful when planning all the small details of the day. The venue itself is absolutely stunning. Our pictures of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all turned out beautiful. The big bridal suite was perfect for getting ready in the morning. It was really helpful that the Franklin let us get into the bridal suite as early as we needed, and we were able to store our things in the locked suite all day long. We were also able to bring our decorations and set some things up early before the wedding on Saturday. They also allowed us to clean up the venue in terms of gathering our decorations the day after the wedding which helped us enjoy the whole night. The food at the Franklin is also amazing. They offer a free tasting of main courses, sides, salads, and signature cocktails and also have the option to do your rehearsal dinner as well. They also were extremely helpful in setting up a payment plan for us. Overall, we cannot say enough good things about the Franklin.

and easy with Christina, Dan and their entire team. The venue is timeless and great for large and small weddings. We had close to 300 and it was great. The food was AMAZING (not your typically wedding food), apps were incredible and our guest are still raving about it. From the small touches, to the big moments, they were there through it all. Emily, was always there with food or a drink for my husband or I and we absolutely loved it. They really let you have your own personally touch with a Franklin spin. The bridal get ready room as 10/10 and was perfect for my bridal party in the fact that we did not have to carry our things every where. We just stayed in one place which was so nice. If you are looking for a venue for your wedding, please look no further. THE FRANKLIN IS IT!!!!!!!!! Thank you guys for everything, the Franklin will always hold a place in our hearts.

t!!! When I say they think of and help you with everything, I mean everything - they will plan your event down to the minute (and truly, they execute it down to the minute as well). Our wedding reception was flawless, and we've gotten so many compliments from our guests on how smoothly everything went. The space is beautiful, the food is delicious, and the staff is so fun to work with! They make you feel like family, and we are so sad we only get one wedding day because we miss them already :( But, we'll be back to visit at one of the many events they host in the Soulard community and beyond!

was over a year until my big day! I am so glad I trusted them with the most important day of my life. I am left speechless when I think about how perfect all the little details were. The food options we tried at the tasting were all delicious and beautifully plated. All my guests were impressed by the food and the staff. My photographer was able to capture some incredible photographs because of how gorgeous The Franklin is. A unique factor The Franklin has is their lounge area. My guests loved taking photos in front of the grass wall and using the cocktail tables. Thank you Christina, Daniel, and The Franklin team for making my wedding a day I will never forget!

This first point of contact set them apart from anyone else, and we knew our wedding would be in great hands with the Franklin. They are professional, very attentive to detail, and really care about their couples’ best interests. This held true throughout the entire experience! If you have an event, this is the venue to use! We toured the Franklin venue before seeing the Park House and quickly realized that it would be a better fit for our ever-growing guest list. Meeting Christina and Danny solidified that we would be in excellent hands because we knew the team they built was the best of the best! The package included a private tasting, a final details meeting, and a cake cutting. They made every decision simple and helped along the planning stage. We heard back instantly whenever we had questions. They were very understanding and flexible with keeping our budget in mind and talking through options. They put together our timeline and our layout. We stopped by in person at different times to see how the room could be configured for different events. We used the venue for both the ceremony and reception. They flipped the room in a matter of minutes (we had a guest count of 185). They served plated dinners quickly and smoothly, so everyone got to eat at the same time. We could bring items over and set up in advance, which was a huge plus. I don't know what we would have done without the team's ideas and insight! There is so much that goes into planning a wedding and it can be overwhelming to make decisions. I felt comfortable leaving some items up to the staff, who covered things perfectly. The Franklin building itself is one-of-a-kind. The amount of care and detail they put into restoring the building makes this space truly unique. They kept the character while updating it to simple beauty. The included bridal suite with the furniture and mirrors made for a great getting-ready space! Everyone took great selfies with the wallpaper in there and in the women's restroom! The candles lit up along the balcony were one of my favorite things! The stage is the perfect backdrop. They have a faux green wall with a neon sign you can use, and they even hung our personalized sign. We used their gold hoop for our ceremony, the easel for our seating chart, decor for the reception tables, the cake stand and utensils needed for the cutting, among other items. If we forgot it, they had it. The staff took care of absolutely everything and more. They brought out vases of water for the bridesmaid's bouquets. They personally lit a birthday candle for one of our guest's piece of cake. They kept us on schedule. We barely lifted a finger cleaning up because it was all done for the next morning. They wrote a sweet note and surprised us with a gift the next day! Each staff member cares and has great attention to detail! It was so fun getting to know everyone! Our guests had so much positive feedback on food and drinks! The Franklin did a great job adapting to food allergies. The signature bar package was a complete hit! We got so much included that there was truly something for everyone. We cannot recommend the Franklin enough. Thank you for a successful wedding experience!

Danny & Christina pour their whole hearts into every event making you feel like your day is the most important not only to you but to them as well! We want to thank everyone who worked the tasting, rehearsal dinner, and the wedding/reception from the bottom of our hearts for all of the hard work that started long before the main event. end. I was so relieved and excited that the venue was everything I wanted it to be! Not only is the venue great, but they catered the event, too! We were able to plan an awesome brunch reception that we were able to enjoy without a hitch. Owner Christina is wonderful to work with. She is very responsive and executed our wedding day well! Between Christina and our wedding planner Alexandra (of Luna + Co), everything was under control and off our plates. My husband and I were able to enjoy the festivities without worrying about logistics or answering vendor questions. I would do it all again tomorrow!

ge wedding (we had 250ish guests). Once we saw the Franklin, we loved it. It is a gorgeous venue. However, even better than the venue are the people that run it. Christina (and her husband Danny) who own it were amazing to work with. They were always quick to answer my random questions. Their entire team was so incredibly helpful with the entire process, even when we realized we needed to switch table type out once we started grouping people. They were happy to help and work with us on what was needed. They even helped us think of things I hadn't even considered. Being an "all-inclusive" venue made my life so much easier (they handle the tables, chairs, linens, dishes, glassware, food, drinks, and people to run it all). The bridal suite was amazing and was perfect even though there were 8 bridesmaids and a maid of honor to get ready along with the bride - plenty of space for everyone. The food was amazing, the venue was gorgeous. Everything ran perfectly smooth (which honestly was surprising with all of the people we had). The food was served quickly and efficiently. The bar was well staffed and quick. They were also incredibly flexible about letting us in early to setup and to come back the next day to pick up everything. I really cannot say enough good things about Christina, the team, and the venue.

Danny was flexible with payments, even as one our checks was delivered to a nearby bar several weeks after being mailed. Communication from everyone was quick and professional, even if it was just a "yes" reply to one of our million questions. A bridal suite was a must for me - there was a lot of natural light for hair and make and plenty of room for my bridesmaids and lots of other visitors throughout the morning. There are sofas and it is decorated nicely which was nice for getting ready photos. They coordinated our day from start to finish and helped us adjust our timeline as things ran shorter/longer than anticipated. Food? Fantastic! We got so many compliments on our appetizers and plated meal. The mini grilled cheeses and spicy chicken biscuits - phenomenal. Drinks? Delicious! If we were empty handed or overwhelmed by guests, we were greeted with a drink. At the end of the night, they cleared tables and collected decor that we then picked up in the morning. It allowed us to just enjoy the evening and not have to worry about getting cars all packed up. Highly, highly recommend The Franklin team to bring your wedding vision to life!

The ceremony we had on stage was the perfect backdrop for our vows with a beautifully long aisle. The team at The Franklin worked quickly to dismiss guests to the cocktail hour area to flip the room. The reception ran seamlessly because of the team. The layout was full but spacious at the same time. The simple elegance of the venue had us with hardly anything to decorate. The team went above and beyond to make our day special and about us. From the initial planning stages to the final farewell, their professionalism and attention to detail were above the rest. Christina was a true gem when planning and managing the event. Responsive, accommodating, and genuinely invested in our future together are just a few of MANY amazing qualities they have. Not to mention the food was to die for! We went with the BBQ option and there were NO complaints! Choosing The Franklin of Soulard for our wedding was the best decision we could have made to begin our life together.
