The Fruited Plain catered the bridal shower we threw for my sister in law. The food was wonderful! I loved being able to pick a wide selection of items and they all came beautifully assembled and easy to display. Drew was very helpful and ensured we ordered the right amount of food for our guests. The guests were raving about how delicious everything was! I would definitely recommend!!!

Drew and his team are AMAZING!! My husband and I hired Drew to cater our backyard wedding over MDW 2021. We had about 130 guests and to this day family and friends rave about how much they enjoyed the food at our wedding, everything from passed hors d’oeuvres to entrees and desserts were out of this world! My dad even asked for a second entree he loved his dinner so much…Father of the Bride approved!! To top it off Drew is so incredibly kind and easy to work with, easily one of the best decisions we made while planning our wedding. It was a dream day and we truly had a dream team.

The Fruited Plain catered my wedding this fall. Drew and his team did a spectacular job! We initially hired them way back in February 2020 for a wedding that was to be that October. We did a tasting and enjoyed it a lot, and the price quoted was very reasonable. When the pandemic interfered, postponing the event by a year was very easy. A year later, when the time came to prepare for the event (with COVID still overshadowing it), Drew helped us modify our plans as needed. This involved changing the format of the meal service and also dramatically reducing the number of guests. Despite a lot of other organizations involved in planning the wedding being a bit difficult (i.e. our reception venue and our liquor supplier), Drew was always very calm and helped calm us down too. His team did a great job on the wedding reception itself-- the food was excellent and everything ran smoothly. Many of our guests have told us how delicious the food was and how our wedding reception was the most seamlessly-run one they have ever attended. We cannot recommend them highly enough!

The Fruited Plain catered my daughters backyard bridal shower on what was probably one of the hottest days of the summer. Between the heat and the issues of hosting during a pandemic, Drew and his team handled it all with ease. We chose them because of their unique menus, and they did not disappoint. Food was wonderful! I would highly recommend them for small and large events.

The Fruited Plain did a fantastic job catering our daughter’s backyard wedding for a very reasonable price. As a worrywart, perfectionist, and former restauranteur, I have high standards and The Fruited Plain exceeded my expectations, allowing me the freedom to enjoy the special day. The food was delicious and well-presented, the staff was friendly and professional, and the set-up/clean-up was quick and efficient. From the beginning, Drew, the owner, listened to our ideas and was receptive to our concerns. He made covid safety suggestions and his team implemented protective practices. Drew also arrived early in the day to scout the lay of the land, provided everything needed plus extra serving equipment at no additional cost, and crafted a well-planned non-dairy, gluten-free and nut-free menu so that all could enjoy. The catering staff of servers and chef were polished professionals and downright sweet. From drinks & passed hors d’oeuvres to coffee & cake, these experts went above and beyond all night long by attending to the needs of the bride and groom and their grandparents, by maintaining a smooth orderly flow without ever being obtrusive, and by leaving our home cleaner than they found it (they swept & mopped!). They even took care of my elderly, disabled dog! From our positive experience and the tons of praise piled on by our guests, it’s clear that The Fruited Plain caterers are exceptional. We’re grateful for their expertise and kindness and highly recommend them!

Drew and his team were absolutely amazing!! Right from the beginning they were there to walk me through all options and make such helpful recommendations for exactly what I was looking for! I can’t thank Drew and his team enough!

We used the Fruited Plain for a cocktail hour and plated dinner at my daughters wedding held lakeside in our backyard. Drew and his team were terrific. On the initial walkthrough of our home and backyard, Drew made several good suggestions and helped define the rental inventory (which we handled on our own). The staff arrived on time, were very professional and took charge. As the dad and host, I anticipated having to provide some level of oversight since I never had done an event like this. The staff took care of everything and it went better than I had envidsioned. The food was outstanding, The passed appetizers were great and the guests couldn't get enough of them. Dinner was delicious and all courses timed perfectly. The staff was personable and a pleasure to work with. I'm looking forward to using them on an upcoming event in 2021.

I used them for both my engagement party and bridal shower and they were AMAZING. Not only was all the food delicious, but the staff is so friendly and great to work with. Drew was easy to communicate with and so accommodating with everything going on with COVID. All our family and friends raved about the food and how good it was. Not only is the food good but the representation of the food is beautiful. The workers served appetizers to our guests and we also hired a bartender through them and he was amazing - so approachable, friendly, and made delicious drinks. I would 100% recommend them for any wedding or wedding event.

Owner, Drew has now catered both my sons engagement party and most recently my future daughter in laws bridal shower after enjoying his food at my nieces wedding. Both parties were hugely successful with The Fruited Plain delicious food making both days so special. Every appetizer from chicken & waffles, tempura shrimp, London broil crostini to individual veggie cups were outstanding and that’s just to name a few! Set up was equally beautiful with every detail taken care by wonderful staff that took care of every need, I never cleared a plate or cleaned anything. Rarely do you find a caterer where all the food taste great, entree dishes all served in silver chafing dishes were plentiful and highly recommend the chicken Francese, Penne vodka and Salmon dishes were all fabulous. We will definitely be using Drew & his staff for all our future parties!

We had our reception at our home. Drew helped us coordinate tenting / tables and chairs. Drew and his team were AWESOME! The food was fantastic, the servers were wonderful and they left our spotless. Drew really made our wedding reception over the summer everything we imagined it to be. Drew did a great job with the dinnerware, linens, tent setup and the food was delicious and very nicely presented. His staff was super attentive and setup all the tables just the way we wanted it to be. When it comes to preparing for your event and you are not sure what caterer to go with in the area, go with Drew. You will not be disappointed. He will make everything easy from start to finish and will customize your event just the way you imagined.

Drew and his team made our wedding day spectacular! He went above and beyond to suit all of our needs and wishes. His staff was extremely friendly and professional. We did not have a single second where we felt like our guests weren't taken care of. The food exceeded all of our expectations and more. Drew made sure that we felt comfortable with our choices before the big day too. He accommodated multiple tastings to ensure that we were happy. The bartenders were also amazing. We gave them our recipes and with no questions asked they made them come to life. People could not stop talking about the drinks all night! I highly recommend The fruited Plain team! What did it take for our small wedding reception to be completely worry-free? Drew and The Fruited Plain Caterers! Having an outdoor wedding reception on October 19 on our back deck could have been "hit or miss" because of the uncertainty of the weather. But Drew connected us with the right rental company and the heated tent was AMAZING!!! With 25% of our guests being vegetarians we needed a caterer who could deliver deliciousness to all our guests. Drew totally hit it! We opted for a family style luncheon and got raving reviews on the quality of the food. From the first contact email 12 months ago, to the last dish put away on wedding day, we felt we were in great hands with a consummate professional. Drew was flexible enough to accommodate some of our special requests, and because we were dealing with the company owner, decision-making was straight forward. On wedding day, his servers were professional, efficient and friendly. My kitchen was probably cleaner after they left than it was before they arrived! And if all that wasn't enough, honesty and integrity were also a key aspect of our working with Drew. He caught a staffing level mistake on our final invoice and personally delivered a refund check for the amount we had overpaid. Now THAT's someone I will be working with again, and recommending without hesitation to all my friends!

First off, my husband Chris and I could not have asked for a better caterer or service provided by Drew and the Fruited Plain. Not only did Drew take us on last minute for our wedding (our previous caterer backed out 2.5 months out), he helped make the whole process so easy for us. His professionalism and experience made such a difference when planning our DIY wedding. Drew was amazing. I don't know how else to put it! We met with a bunch of different caterers and everything with The Fruited Plain felt different from the start. We enjoyed every aspect of the process and Drew was so helpful along the way. Nothing ever seemed to overwhelm him, and he was so great at helping to calm us down when we were feeling stressed. He is a true professional and master of his craft. He also worked with the rental company to supply EVERYTHING we needed for our venue. I can't tell you what it was like to have that support! On the day of the wedding, I remember seeing Drew after our first look, and it was genuinely like seeing a friend at our wedding. We were just happy to see him and glad he was there. The entire team was helpful, friendly and professional. Now...the important part....the food. Ohhhhh yeah. So good. The cocktail hour was amazing. Drew and his team concoct such delicious, and unique, food options that we had a hard time selecting!!! We went with a buffet option for our dinner and, again, the food was amazing and Drew's team kept everything running smoothly. We got married a month ago, and we still get compliments about the food at our wedding. We have recommended him to everyone we know and already have people looking to book him. Another wonderful experience working with Drew. We used the Fruited Plains for both of my daughters’ weddings and could not have been more happy with that decision. Drew was so easy to work with. He structured our menu to accommodate our theme. The day of the wedding his staff could not have been more attentive. Obviously I used him twice and would use him again if I had another child getting married.

Fantastic food. Wonderful to work with. Guests took pics of the appetizers they loved them so much. Drew worked with us the entire way and was familiar with our location. Made home baked ice cream sandwiches we requested for dessert--guests once again were raving. Don't hire anyone else. We've joked we need an encore to eat the food again!!💖

In a world of pasta and chicken buffet events, The Fruited Plain makes incredibly delicious and diverse cuisine that leaves you having dreams about food. My husband and I had an incredible repertoire of hors d'oeuvres, a delicious and exotic Hawaiian buffet, and a dessert bar complete with hot chocolate whiskey shots that Drew (the owner/chef) concocted himself especially for us, and our guests are still raving about it all! My only regret of the evening was wearing a tight wedding dress which deeply restricted the amount of pork buns I could eat during cocktail hour! The Fruited Plain is extremely accommodating, flexible, responsive, and creative. Drew's passion for his work really shone through in the form of how amazing and customized our event was. The Fruited Plain catered my shower in my friend's home in Brooklyn, NY and everything was amazing, I just need to write in a review and spread the word to all. The food was delicious and the presentation was beautiful. They over delivered on everything and definitely exceeded my expectations. Drew and his team are all amazing! They are so kind, friendly, personable and really care about making your experience a good one. We heard rave reviews from our guests about the food and about the team in general. The Eggplant Rollatini was an especially big hit. We didn't serve any meat at our wedding (we had one fish dish) and no one seemed to miss it! Drew even went out of his way to make three vegan meals for me and a couple of guests. Big wins for the environment and the animals <3 The bartenders were also fantastic and we heard wonderful things about our specialty cocktails. The Fruited Plain was one of four approved caterers for our venue on Manhattan's Upper East Side. We talked to people from all four, and found Drew of the Fruited Plain to be by far the most agreeable, both in terms of price and service. The Fruited Plain did a fantastic job in every respect. The hors d'oeuvres were great, the bar service was great, the meals were great, the wait staff were great. Drew and his people drew raves from many of our guests -- the hors d'oeuvres were a particular hit -- and contributed tremendously to our wedding's success.

The skies opened up and the rain poured down on us all day for our backyard wedding, but it didn't matter! We were under the tent with family and close friends while Drew and his professional staff at the Fruited Plain made our wedding the most memorable day of our new lives together. From the moment Drew arrived early in the afternoon, decisions were made with cool and calm as the skies threatened and the weather reports of rain were made real. This fast became a torrential downpour that lasted all evening. No longer out of the tent seating! Without missing a beat, Drew's team reorganized the tables under the tent and made it seem as if this was the plan all along. It became the start of an intimate gathering, where every person under that tent forgot about the downpour and became part of a beautiful ceremony and fun filled evening, all thanks to Drew and his staff. We were awestruck at the way they attended to everyone’s needs, while delivering and serving the best prepared food we’ve ever tasted outside of an actual restaurant. The Fruited Plain made our vegetarian/vegan wedding a reality, without making any one of our guests wonder “where’s the beef!” Compliments abounded from almost every person there that evening. We heard over and over again how wonderful the staff was as the rain poured down. We will never forget their cheerfulness as they went about their work. They truly are an incredible team. Drew, shepherded us through the weeks prior to the wedding. He was an absolute delight to work. From our initial tasting at his café, to working with the rental company, to the setup and execution the day of the event, no detail was missed. He was the calm at the center of the storm (literally and figuratively!). The Fruited Plain made our wedding a magical event! We recommend them wholeheartedly.

We enjoyed working with Drew & The Fruited Plain for our 150 guest wedding in September 2015. There were many pros to working with TFP, including: Food - Simply amazing, quickly refilled & plentiful. Our guests raved about apps including bacon wrapped scallops, baby lamb chops, etc. Drew also whipped up a chicken entrée off-menu sight unseen (a maple-glazed chicken breast). Tastings – Drew came to our home and offered free tastings of a large quantity of hors d’oeuvres so we could get a feel for the quality and variety of foods TFP offersoffers & accommodated an additional full tasting once we booked with TFP for a very reasonable upcharge. Responsiveness & Planning - Drew was incredibly responsive, patient & helpful throughout the planning process. Staff – Professional dress & attitudes. The servers and kitchen staff all worked diligently throughout the wedding. We were very happy with the (1) chef, (2) kitchen staff, (7) serving staff & (3) bartenders. Unfortunately, there were also some challenges we faced, such as: Rentals – The quality of the rentals from the suggested vendor, A Party Center in Fairfield were not “wedding appropriate,” but more “backyard BBQ” since everything was extremely well used & scuffed. Several white ceremony chairs were uncleaned from a prior event & a few items were broken or missing. Unfortunately, when the rentals arrived, the catering staff was not able to be there to coordinate receipt so it was assumed that we, the clients, would be responsible for the missing items as if we lost them during our event! The damage bill, included the missing items but was < $100, which was not that high, and the caterer ended up being comping us for it, but the fact remains that this process was very disappointing. Final Invoice Calculation/Service Timing – The final invoice that we received 8 days prior to the wedding included a significant upcharge on service costs from the original quote we had a year prior, a jump of approximately 30% more on the service. This was a pretty big change late in the game and threw us off. The set up time had been miscalculated originally. We were able to renegotiate to the original plan, but as a result, we needed to set up the entire venue the day prior ourselves instead to avoid the charge, which was a significant undertaking. Our venue also had strict rules for clean-up to avoid fees, which TFP was familiar with having catered here previously. We assume that the breakdown time was also miscalculated, since all of the catering staff left promptly at 11pm without completing the cleanup. This left us to finish cleaning that night, remove 150 chairs from upstairs, remove glassware, empty garbages etc. This was surprising given a staff of 13 started cleaning hours prior. Dessert – We had a dozen or so specialty cakes made up to be displayed with a desert wine & cordial bar, however, the waiters were absent (probably starting on clean up) so a bartender was forced to leave the bar & bring out the cakes. The cakes were never sliced, many liqueurs did not make it out to the dessert area, and none of the specialty glassware was provided for serving the drinks. A large line queued up as a result, which is not what we wanted. Overall, we and our guests had a blast, and TFP was a very large part of making our special day so special. We would just caution other DIY/budget-conscious couples that there can be pitfalls in the process!

From start to finish, our experience with the Fruited Plain caterers was nothing short of outstanding. Up until a month before the wedding my wife and I did not have a car and Drew worked hard, via visits to us, and phone conversations to iron out all the details for the wedding. He was very flexible about the food options, even helping us design specific vegetarian dishes for our wedding. As the date came closer, Drew kept in contact and was very accommodating with regards to the last minute organizational changes we needed to make. The food was great, the staff he brought it was courteous, helpful and hard working. I would not hesitate to recommend The Fruited Plain for catering. The only issues I had is not enough time to eat all the great food! You cannot go wrong with The Fruited Plain Caterers!

Everything from the charming and professional staff to the unbelievably delicious food and service was far beyond anything in our wildest dreams. We had many email exchanges, phone calls, meet ups, between the tasting and the wedding day to determine the rentals, the exact menu, plus in our case the breakfast menu. We were able to personalize the menu as much as we wanted. Thanks for everything!

Our family pretty much revolves around the kitchen table and the meals we enjoy preparing together. So, when our daughter got engaged, we thought, backyard wedding. Keep it simple. We'll make the food, she'll bake her cake. As the guest list began to grow and we realized our future son-in-law's family had a very different idea of what the wedding "should be" we had to rethink this. A lot of compromises were going to have to be made, but one was not going to be on the quality of the food. After reading reviews about the Fruited Plain, I had a feeling Drew might be our perfect solution. He was easy to talk to and really listened to my daughter, we both felt at ease right away. From the first tasting he showed us how much he cares about his family, his business, the quality of ingredients and the preparation and presentation of his dishes; we were sold. Everything was delicious and beautiful. We thought deciding on the menu was all that remained. Not so. The groom's family wanted a formal sit down dinner and my daughter had a much more informal vision yet definitely didn't want a buffet. Drew suggested serving "Family Style" which worked beautifully. Guests passed the serving dishes around the table and I believe this actually facilitated conversation. When or if a platter needed refilling, Drew's staff was at the ready to take care of it. Drew, his wife Rosemary and their staff were attentive, courteous and professional, wonderful to work with. It has been two months and I am still getting compliments about the food and how it was served. I highly recommend serving family style at your next event and entrusting The Fruited Plain Caterers to it. I know I will.

Choosing The Fruited Plain as my caterer for my wedding was one of the best decisions I could have ever made. I would definitely recommend their services for anyone who is looking for not only a job well done but also staff and services who go above and beyond. At first meeting with the operations manager, Drew I was nervous he wouldn't like the venue because we were getting married at a camp and it is very rustic. Upon seeing the site, he was nothing but positive and said he was so excited! It made me feel so great knowing he had no worries and had such confidence. We met several times and he was always there via email or phone if I needed to change something last minute or add something. When it came time for the wedding day, I showed up and was blown away by the execution of everything. Not only did they do everything I asked but they did more! The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The entire day was a dream come true, the food was excellent, and all the guests exclaimed how much they loved the food. People said they went up for seconds the food was so great!

The Fruited Plain catered my wedding and we were very happy with their service. We were referred to the Fruited Plain by our venue. The manager said not only had The Fruited Plan catered a number of events at the venue, but several of the people who worked there had hired The Fruited Plain for personal events. For the wedding, we had to please meat eaters, vegetarian and vegans in our family. Drew was very flexible when it came to the menu, and he went out of his way to come up with recipes for vegan versions of his mashed potatoes and several other dishes, I also rented all the table service from The Fruited Plain, and the staff set the tables, put up our centerpieces and cleared the tables at the end of the evening, which was a big help. Everyone loved the food and the service was thorough and professional.

I was delighted with Fruited Plain caterers. They are fantastic! The food was absolutely delicious and beautifully presented. So many of my guests remarked how much they liked the meal. Drew and all the staff went out of their way to make our event special. Drew made helpful suggestions during the planning, and helped me to find delicious substitutions for some of my guests with food allergies. I was really able to enjoy the day so much more, because I had no concern about the meal and its presentation. I highly recommend the Fruited Plain. They are the best!

Drew Gabbe and his crew catered my daughter's wedding this past weekend. From the hors-d'oeuvres at cocktail hour through the main meal and dessert the food was out of this world. Many compliments from our guests. The food preparers, bartenders and wait staff were pleasant, courteous and went out of their way to make the whole event memorable. The wedding and reception were held at a very rustic children's summer camp which was a challenge for this caterer. But, they pulled it off effortlessly.

My daughter's wedding included guests from several different countries. The Fruited Plain listened carefully to our requests for Indian appetizers and entrees in addition to more traditional foods. They created a menu that was perfect! All of our guests loved the innovation, authenticity and quality of the food. An extra challenge, we asked for fruit pies for dessert instead of the traditional wedding cake. They were a hit! I highly recommend The Fruited Plain.

We had Drew and his team cater our rustic factory wedding over Memorial Day weekend. We cannot recommend Drew enough!!! He helped us through every step of planning and coordinating the food and rentals for our wedding. Because of the unique space, everything (down the lights!) had to be brought in. Not only did Drew help make this process simple, but he did so with professionalism, ease and executed an amazing evening. Drew worked with our budget and requests (and we had a lot of annoying requests!!) to create the perfect menu, suited to the space and feel we were looking for. The food was absolutely fantastic, the presentation was elegant, and service outstanding. Without Drew's expertise, flexibility, and talent, or wedding would not have been the same! Whatever type of wedding or event you are looking to create, Drew and his team will go above and beyond to make it an amazing experience for you and your guests!

Unreliable vendors were one of our biggest headaches. But thank god for Drew and his team. They were just brilliant. Not only was he great through all the planning process, he was patient with our changes and our back and forwards. AND THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Everyone loved it! Which was important to us. We've all be to the that wedding where everyone was whispering in the background about how bad the food was. But people wouldn't shut up about our food. And his team was just so great. They took care of our needs before we even realized we had them. We also went over time a bit and they stayed a little extra with us to make sure we were taken cared off. All this for a very reasonable price. We are love these guys, and can't recommend them enough.We are just so grateful to them for making our day so special. Oh and make sure you take advantage of his tastings!!! FUN TIMES!

Drew and his staff were fantastic! All of our guests absolutely loved the food.. it's been just about three weeks since the wedding and we are STILL hearing about how delicious the food was! The Fruited Plain was a dream to work with.....they are friendly, professional, and reliable! From day one, Drew told me that they would take care of anything we needed.. and they really did take care of EVERYTHING that we needed. We will definitely use them again for any future catering needs!

The crew at The Fruited Plains really helped to make our wedding an awesome day. Drew (owner, chef) and Dara (events planner and day-of coordinator) were extremely thorough and professional, keeping track of the many details associated with having a reception under a tent in a park. Drew has worked with many local vendors before, including the Parks Commission who managed our reception site, and was able to help with multiple behind the scenes arrangements including coordination with the fire marshall and rentals agency to ensure we had everything we needed. Both he and Dara were available whenever I had questions, worked around my crazy schedule, made multiple site visits to ensure we were all on the same page with the venue, and definitely helped facilitate the actual day so I could focus on the guests and enjoy. Dara kept my vendors organized and took care of a significant amount of communication in the days leading up to the event so I could handle other issues. Guests raved for weeks about Drew's food, which he definitely puts time, effort and passion into, and his staff was incredibly supportive and professional throughout the wedding reception. I completely trusted Drew and Dara's experience and opinions, and they really helped to make our wedding day as successful and enjoyable as possible.

Choosing the fruited plain caterers was THE BEST decision I made in my wedding planning process!! The food is wonderful, I had SO many guests come up to me and rave at the wedding. Drew, who is the chef, really listens to what you want, and masterfully blends flavors! Dara, who is the wedding planner, was my right hand during the year it took to plan our event! I cannot song her praises enough, from planner, to friend, to therapist, she literally juggled everything that I threw at her with grace and poise! For my wedding, we had to pull together a menu and plan to feed 100 guests in less than two weeks. We were also on a tight budget so we decided to serve the food ourselves buffet style instead of having Drew and his team fully cater the event. Drew was so helpful and understanding in accommodating our timeline, budget and dietary restrictions. He made the entire process smooth and stress-free which is exactly what you want when you have to worry about so many things on your big day. We picked up the food in the morning and heated everything up per Drew's instructions and the food was amazing! We ordered the Chicken Medallions and the Mustard Crusted Salmon dishes as our two main entrees. My mom was really concerned that the salmon wasn't going to taste fresh or be overcooked since we were reheating it, but everything came out perfect. We will definitely recommend Drew and the Fruited Plain for your event. You won't be disappointed.

Drew did a fantastic job with our wedding. We did the event in our backyard so he helped with much more than just the food. The food was delicious, his planning of the tent and other needs was perfect, and the service was amazing. We would highly recommend Drew to anyone.

I highly recommend The Fruited Plain as your go-to caterer for weddings or any type of celebration. Drew was willing to cater my wedding with only a month's notice, on a holiday and during his busiest time of year! He made it clear that he would provide whatever I needed to make the day perfect, and he did. Even with the challenge of getting things together on a day when many businesses were closed, he did it so smoothly. We got all the rentals through him, which he personally delivered that morning, and he was the chef in the kitchen! His staff was amazing, the food was delicious, and the service was seamless! My only regret is I didn’t get to thank Drew personally that day. I am so grateful for Drew and his staff and am very glad I chose The Fruited Plain for my special day. I hope you do, too.

We had The Fruited Plain cater our wedding for 30 people. I was taking a chance, since they were recommended by our wedding officiant, but I had never eaten their food. I am so glad I did, because my husband and our guests, could not have been happier and more satisfied!! We had a variety of starters (vietnamese spring rolls, cheese plate, cocktail franks and smoked salmon), all providing a variety of classic and diverse flavors. We served our lunch buffet style, which included chicken francese, poached salmon, green salad and wild rice with cranberries and scallion. I and many of my guests were from NYC, so standards were very high. Almost every guest commented on how great the food was, saying "This is some of the best food I have had in a long time...perfectly cooked and full of flavor!" several asked for Drew's contact info to use them in the future. Drew (and Karen who did the serving) were also terrific to partner with. Drew got a good feel for the event I was trying to create and both took my suggestions and made recommendations on the right combination of flavors and portions, in several cases telling me to go smaller in size, which I appreciated. Karen worked tirelessly to set-up, serve, and clean up, constantly moving for hours - with a smile - to make sure everything went smoothly. Bottom-line - My expectations were exceeded (which doesn't happen very often, trust me) and I HIGHLY recommend The Fruited Plain!!!

I needed a caterer that served food that tasted as good as it looked and The Fruited Plain certainly fit the bill. Drew carefully planned a menu that made certain that all of my guests would come away satisfied, both vegans and fish eaters alike. It has been a month since my wedding and I have friends and family still remarking on the quality of the food! If you are looking for high quality ingredients, beautifully prepared gourmet food at a reasonable price you need not look further. Just call Drew and get yourself on his calendar before he books up! Hands down the best catering company around. The only reason they don't charge more for the quality of food and service is because of the location. This place is amazing. 2 years ago I was looking for a place to do my wedding catering. I'm extremely picky, and a bit of a control freak- I needed someone who could step up and do the job well for a reasonable price. Not only was Drew there every single step of the way with catering, he also provided me with contact information for all of my other vendors. I went with the Cake company he suggested, and was blown away with the beauty of my cake, same with the linens, the pipe and drape rentals, the florist, and even provided Dara, his on staff wedding planner and coordinator, who was a beast when it comes to getting things done. That girl is on top of her game. She made sure that the wedding venue was stunningly beautiful, she was organized, she did the whole wedding ceremony planning, as well as the introductions for the reception, and the entire flow of the evening. Drew was there and helped me make informed and stylish decisions without spending over my budget. I know that I'm not the easiest person to communicate with, and that I'm extremely demanding, however Drew and Dara rose to the occasion. I Can't say enough good things about the quality of the service during the reception, as well as the food. I am still receiving compliments about how good the appetizers were, as well as the main dishes. Guests were blown away. Thank you Drew. I've been dreaming about this day since I was 5 years old.. and you made it perfect. Just keep in mind that they are VERY affordable, as well as top notch service. When you use The Fruited Plain, you're promoting small business, and directly feeding and caring for families in your OWN community. Please don't pass them up. These guys.. I can't say enough great things about them.

Drew and his team from The Fruited Plain went above and beyond our expectations! And, I really mean it! I am definitely a foodie and wanted fun and exciting food for my recent wedding. After taking a look at other reviews and his menu options I set up a call. Speaking with Drew was easy and efficient; we clicked I guess you could say! Our wedding had 150+ guests and Drews team served the food family style at our choice. All of our guests commented on the top quality and delicious flavors they were served. At one point I snuck back into the kitchen to eat some of the items being passed during cocktail hour, Drew quickly noticed a hungry bride and put together a little sampler! Our venue was not typical and served up plenty of challenges that Drew happily worked through. It's the little details that really made me 100% thrilled with The Fruited Plain. On a scale of 1-5, I would rate Drew and The Fruited Plain a 10 if I could! I cannot say enough wonderful things about their food, service, presentation and how great they were to work with. Drew was so accommodating & responsive and knew what I was envisioning without me even telling him. With all of the things I had to worry about in planning our wedding, it was so refreshing to know that I didn't have to worry about the food or service. Our guests raved about the food (you could cut the beef with a spoon) and all of the staff was great...especially the bar tender Christian who noticed that nobody was filming an impromptu performance by my siblings and jumped in to film it on his cell phone. I have Celiac Disease and have to eat strictly GLUTEN FREE...TFP knew all ingrediants that contain gluten and I was able to eat everything they served on my wedding day! The Fruited Plain made our day!!
