e. She was always very enthusiastic about my vision. She and Meghan were a dream to work with and they were the perfect Day Of coordinators and worked seamlessly with all my vendors. The food was amazing. I had a great experience at the catering meeting; and was very excited about some of the ad hoc appetizer requests I wanted. Again, Amberly and Meghan were completely on board with my entire vision for my wedding and brought that vision to life. The space was gorgeous and sexy and all my guests were wowed.

self is obviously beautiful, it’s the perfect blank canvas to create whatever vision you have & Amberly and Megan will be your hype girls through it all. My wedding day itself was incredibly beautiful. The staff was literally so kind and helpful, the bartender was amazing - just all of it. The flexibility and creativeness that Amberly and her staff offered me during such a stressful time was BEYOND what they “needed” to do for me - they went above and beyond to make sure everything went perfectly. I truly felt like they cared as much about our big day as we did. I cannot recommend this venue enough - I will be forever grateful that we had our wedding here! Don’t even bother looking any further - book this place!

y, it will be your dream wedding since you can decorate it however you want!! Leading up to our wedding, they responded to all of my emails and phone calls in a timely manner, answering all my questions. They followed up with us throughout COVID, recommended vendors and where to get decorations. All of our in person meetings just made us more and more comfortable. On the actual wedding day, they helped made our vision come to reality! They worked with all of my vendors as I took the morning to get ready. The staff was so professional and friendly, the food was mouth watering and the entire day was perfect. They helped everything flow so smoothly with not even one hiccup. My guest were raving about how it was such an amazing night! Everyone had so much fun and I could not of had a better venue. If I could I would do it all over again, the exact same way, just to relive it! They truly made the entire process so seamless! Thank you so much Amberly and Meghan!

Gala 417 as our wedding venue. We had full faith in Amberly as her experience and personality gave us confidence in trusting her with our big day. Over the course of the next 9 months, we had a fairly easy planning experience. Amberly worked with our schedules to plan our site visits and tasting for a time that worked with us as we were out-of-towners that lived more than 4 hours away. She was easily accessible via email during the whole planning process, even when she was days away from giving birth. She provided guidance and suggestions that made the planning process simpler and more manageable than the expected chaotic wedding planning process. When our we found ourselves in a disagreement with our DJ company, Amberly defended us and fought for our request to set up equipment in a certain part of the venue. This was greatly appreciated especially during stressful times like wedding planning. A few weeks prior the big day, Amberly set up time to go over every last detail and logistic. This allowed Amberly to successfully execute every aspect of our wedding day including our traditional cultural ceremonies, cocktail hour, and reception. On the actual day of the wedding, the Gala 417 provided excellent staff support to the wedding party and guests. I distinctly remember one of the staff members stopping to help me with my veil and wedding train as she saw that I was having problems and my bridal party already having made their way down to the altar. Amidst all of her responsibilities, she took the time to help me look my best on one of the biggest days of my life. The rest of the evening went spectacularly. We had a few hiccups in terms of timing our speeches and following through with our general timeline, but Amberly and the staff at Gala 417 were amazing. They were flexible with our spontaneity and friendly despite the uncertainty that we had forced on them. Through the night, our guests were well-fed with great hors devours, an elegant dinner, and plentiful libations. Overall, I would highly recommend Amberly and the Gala 417 as a wedding venue. The venue itself provides a simple, elegant ambiance that can be decorated up or left simple and still impress every one of your guests. Amberly is an amazingly dedicated and experienced wedding coordinator/planner that is an incredible resource to have along the wedding planning process.

as!! Amberly made my sister feel stress free throughout the entire process and always responded to her questions in such a timely manner. The entire process is so streamlined, they are running a wonderful operation there and I will refer anyone getting married to there a hundred times over!

LY responsive to every email, call and text. The day of, they were on top of every tiny detail from start to finish! They met with my vendors and coordinated with them without me even knowing! I am just so impressed- and so were all of my guests! They are truly in a league of their own! Thank you Gala 417 for making my day absolutely perfect.

backdrop for our wedding reception photos. While we only booked it for our reception, I have no doubt that if we were to have our ceremony here as well it would be just as gorgeous! Amberly was super easy to work with and very flexible around my Fiance and I's crazy schedules for tours and meetings. The pricing here is reasonable compared with other venues in the Virginia Beach area. One of the things I love the MOST about booking this venue it that they take care of the Catering and Bar in house--- no need to shop around for those services which is a BIG weight lifted off my shoulders!!! If you are looking for a beautiful place to have your special day I highly consider visiting The Gala 417. I think you will fall in love with it like we did!

DELICIOUS! We just had our tasting and my fiancé hasn't stopped talking about the food! My parents are pretty hard to please "foodies" and they absolutely loved everything they tried, too! The meats were all tender and juicy with great flavor! The Vegetarian Pasta was sooo good too! Officially counting down the days!

but I could definitely tell even just by the shell that it is going to be spectacular! The owners gave me the tour and were so easy to talk to! They knew exactly what I meant when I asked questions and were so real and down to Earth. You can really tell this is something they have a lot of knowledge about. They offer everything that a bride would want, they include everything in their rentals, do the set up and break down, and they have an add on package with vendors that have discounts so I don't have to call around and wait for people to call me back. The photographer I hired from their list gave me $2000 off because I am a "Gala Bride"! They have just made everything so easy! I am so excited for my April 2020 wedding at The Gala 417!
