We primarily worked with Alexia and Anna, and they were always available to answer our questions and provide guidance on the planning process. They regularly checked in with us to make sure we were on track, and they were incredibly helpful and professional. Anna was our day of coordinator, and she was there for us every step of the way throughout our day, keeping us on track, making sure we ate, and even searching through the bridal cottage for anything I needed throughout the evening. Our guests had so much fun and we received countless compliments on the venue. The Hops has a list of preferred vendors, many of whom we used and had an amazing experience with, and having a team of vendors that worked so seamlessly together made the entire experience smooth. We are so thankful to the entire team at the Hops for making our wedding day an absolute dream come true. We cannot recommend the Hops enough!

There are endless ways to make your vision come to life with a ton of ways to personalize the day -- from renting farmhouse tables (5 ft rounds/chairs are included), bringing in an ice cream truck that made us a custom flavor, to setting up our décor and welcome/memory tables exactly to our vision. /// - A+ service & organization: With the signature cocktails on draft, no one had to wait long for a drink -- the servers even brought to guests on trays immediately after there ceremony. They had champagne ready for just the two of us immediately after the ceremony and brought sampling of all the appetizers for us to enjoy in a private moment in the bridal cottage. We also had a seamless load in and load out that made all our DIY easy to come to life and we didn't have to do anything day of. /// - Bridal cottage onsite: I loved getting ready here with my bridesmaids. The space was comfortable for 9 bridesmaids plus our moms, the lighting was incredible, the full kitchen is perfect to order in lunch. /// - Upscale hotels nearby in New Haven: We had our guests stay at the Blake Hotel, which was convenient and a bit more upscale than some of the closer Shelton hotels. We hosted a welcome party here Friday night, as we had a lot of out of town guests and wanted to give them a full weekend experience. We provided buses to and from the hotel. ///

Alexia and her team seamlessly coordinated the entire day, anticipating our needs before we even knew we needed it! This team takes pride in their work and it shows in every aspect- especially in the small details. The venue itself is stunning and such a beautiful hidden gem. We have gotten so many compliments from friends and family raving about the space and staff. You will not regret having your wedding at the Garden at The Hops!!!! Best decision that my husband and I made.
