This venue was not only LGBTQ inclusive, but was very intentionally more than just inclusive/tolerant- they made it very clear they were LGBTQ SUPPORTERS AND ALLIES. My wife and I felt safe with every staff member throughout every step of the process. Shout-out to Glen for his beautiful artwork and warm soul! Shout-out to Tammy for being our cheerleader throughout all of our planning ❤️ We had continuous compliments from our guests about how perfect the venue was.

I absolutely recommend reading all of the literature and guidelines they provide- there are lots of rules you and your vendors must follow (which helps keep the venue in beautiful condition!). Our wedding day was perfect and our guests were so impressed with the venue! The Gardens team was on top of everything and gave us a heartfelt congratulations at the end of the night, plus a card in the mail afterwards! If we had to do it over, we'd absolutely pick The Gardens again! We highly recommend this venue.

We were very grateful on the day of the wedding when staff were able to help dry off our ceremony site after mornings rain, and still allowing us to have the ceremony outside. So happy with how the pictures turned out as well with all the different backgrounds!

olved. My biggest thing was the air conditioning in the bridal suite like was not working and/or barely working and it was so hot in there! All of my 10 bridesmaids and I were dying from the heat. It was brought up to 2 people who worked there and I believe someone said they tried to fix it but it was never really resolved and the entire bridal suite was so hot the entire time. I spent a lot of time in the suite obviously getting ready and staying away from my fiance so it did make me angry that we paid like 7k for our AC not to work. We also weren't allowed have the door open to let any air in as to not let bugs in. Eventually a lot of the girls ended up going to the mens changing area which only had a window ac unit but actually worked...so. that was something that really annoyed me a lot... It was luckily a gorgeous day outside but nevertheless hot when you and 12 other people are together in one room lol. 2. They are doing a lot of renovations a lot during the year which is understandable and great but something that I noticed, a small detail nonetheless but kinda bothered me was the new Cruck Frame they put up outside the lath house, the bottom parts holding it up looked pretty unfinished. 3 out of the 4 stilt things holding it up just had like concrete around them and the other one had bricks so idk small thing but something to note. just looked unfinished to me...which it is haha. 3. Our wedding was on a Thursday and maybe thats why there was more cars than usual but keep in mind the venue is right next to a road and you can absolutely hear the cars passing by. Otherwise the venue is beautiful, it is definitely a garden vibe. I made the mistake of not looking at any other venue since I had my prom here and loved it so I just went with it. Looking back though I likely would have gone with another venue just because it is a bit more rustic than I like and if it god forbid would have rained I would have been super mad about paying 7k for the whole wedding to be in a tent. The outdoor part of the venue is lovely and worth it but there really is not a back up besides the tent. The venues communication was good as well, I cannot complain about that. i think it definitely gives the vibe of family-run not like a big bustling corporate business--which is a good thing. I will say there are workers there who seem to have better customer service than others, but everyone is very kind and helpful. You get the whole venue to yourself from 8am-12am, there are multiple ceremony sites to choose from, there is an open catering policy (but there is a 10% venue change added to the catering bill), you can choose between 2 different beverage services, you need event insurance (~$100) & a day of coordinator that needs to be there the entire events, not just a few hours so keep in mind this will cost likely at leastttt $1k. They have a list of approved coordinators for this, most of them are over $2k. Events by Fee was affordable and absolutely wonderful and on their approved list!! My wedding was gorgeous and wonderful but that is also mostly thanks to all of my other wonderful vendors! I would say just take a tour and see for yourself and compare to all other venues and see what you like best!

Steph was our Set Up Lead and she had our day going with out a hitch. They also had a summer event on Wednesday called Good Times at the Gardens. We attended an evening and it was a nice little date night. We ended up hiring the DJ they had there that evening for our event and we spoke with Heidi and got many tips and suggestions from her about planning our day. On our wedding day, our guest were raving at how beautiful and unique the venue is. The also have many very helpful blogs on their website . Definitely recommend checking those out. The pricing was very fair and worth every penny. All around 10/10 for everything when dealing with The Gardens of Castle rock. We could not have asked for a better location and team to work with. It was everything we had dreamed of.

uests and questions throughout the whole process; from our first tour to the wedding day itself. We had really been looking for a location that merged my style and my husband's and the variety of ceremony locations and natural picturesque locations was a major plus. we also wanted flexibility in who we brought in for the rest of our vendors - not only were we not restricted in our choice in caterer/florists/decor etc but the Gardens also provided a list of tried and tested vendors that knew the location. We felt fully supported during our vendor journey without feeling pressured to pick from a restricted list. We did end up using many vendors from the recommended list because they matched our style and our price point. While we did have a full-service planner to help us during our planning process I would still highly recommend the Gardens to anyone whos planning their wedding on their own. I was also the first wedding they hosted for 2023; during the 2022 winter storm the lathe house had decided it needed a break a took a tumble - the team alerted us right away as we wanted that for our ceremony and in no time they had the lathe house fixed and ready for us to use on our day. They also helped us navigate and plan for potential rain, which thankfully we didn't have to use, but it was such a comfort to know that rain or shine my wedding was going to go off without a hitch. I can't thank the Gardens of Castle Rock enough for ensuring my perfect day and I wholeheartedly recommend them! As a bonus, we had a few opportunities to speak with the owner, Glenn, and we'll be purchasing a wood slab my Husband will turn into a coffee table so we can commemorate the day - that way we'll always have a little piece of the Garden's with us.
