My husband & I toured The Gaston on a whim before even getting engaged and fell in love immediately. We originally wanted an October wedding for 2024 but 18 months prior to that date, October was fully booked up already & there were only 2 dates available for November. We booked the venue for our November 2nd, 2024 wedding the next day. We booked the entire bed & breakfast for the wedding weekend & had family stay in the rooms upstairs, which were so gorgeous & comfortable. The Gaston is impeccably designed & has unique details in every room. It such a unique venue that was just so perfect for our fall wedding. It felt so intimate & a perfect mix of uniqueness with various traditional elements. Adrienne was a vital resource throughout the planning process & she took videos throughout the whole night, without either of us realizing, and made a beautiful video that we both treasure so much. Our wedding truly was the happiest day and weekend of it lives and we are so happy we made the decision to have The Gaston be our venue. We also booked the house next door for our groomsmen, which was equally as beautiful & comfortable & was so useful logistically for the groomsmen getting ready. We also feel very lucky to be able to return to our venue as guests to stay for anniversaries, which we know is a privilege most couple don’t get to experience.

We LOVED the Gaston!! Adrienne was an incredible resource throughout our wedding planning process. We asked tons of questions over the course of the year and she was always so kind, helpful, and communicative throughout. It was awesome getting to use the space for the entire wedding weekend- we hosted both our wedding and rehearsal dinner there. The venue is gorgeous, the staff is fantastic, and the attention to detail was impeccable. When we arrived for our wedding weekend, there was custom signage with our names in several places, beautiful decor, and treats at each beside table and throughout. They stocked the fridge for us and had a beautiful breakfast spread on Saturday morning. On wedding day, Adrienne and her team went above and beyond. We truly had the best day ever!! The only thing I would recommend to others is to be aware of weather backup options as depending on weather and guest count, a tent may be needed- the Gaston can supply it for you, but it’s not a small investment. But I will say that we ended up with a tent on our wedding day and it turned out beautiful- it’s very tall and let a lot of light in so it truly felt like you were still outside. I couldn’t be happier with the Gaston and I highly highly recommend to others!!
I rented the entire bed and breakfast for my wedding weekend and it was perfect! The rooms are amazing, the outdoor space was exactly what I wanted for a spring garden party style wedding.
They offer several wedding packages with different options and were very easy to work with to book and get everything organized. Adrienne handles their events and was AMAZING. She helped me coordinate with different vendors and was there start to finish for my entire weekend. .My budget didn't allow for her wedding planning services, but it really felt like that's what I got.
My entire group felt welcomed and at home. Moe provided a fantastic Sunday breakfast, with fresh fruit, yogurt, warm croissant breakfast sandwiches and more. The decorations of each room are stunning, and the property is extremely well cared for.
I will absolutely visit again the next time I'm in Dallas!
My husband and I live in Washington. We chose to have our wedding at The Gaston, because we could rent the whole place out, have an outdoor ceremony, and it was close to our families. The original quote I received was $13,000 for 60 people but ultimately I paid $18,000 for 80 people, in advance. However, due to COVID, we were only able to host 45 people. Therefore I was expecting several thousand dollars back, this assumption was confirmed by the caterer and the wedding planner. On Monday before the wedding, the forecast said there was going to be rain on my wedding day. I contacted the planner about options. Previously, she had stated a tent for the backyard would be around $2500. I asked her to contact the company. On Wednesday she came back with a quote for $8000. I felt this was astronomical, an additional $8000?? I asked about other options, they said they could cover just the patio for $4000, which I still felt was way overpriced for a tent, or move the wedding inside. By Friday no one had a plan or seemed to be working on the issue. When I asked how it would work if we moved the wedding inside, they did not know. My family and I were very disappointed with the venue and their lack of options or planning. My father approached the owners, and made it clear that it was unacceptable to expect us to pay extra for a tent, because as a wedding venue they should have options for bad weather. I flat out refused to spend another dime. We asked the owners to provide a tent, and in the end they did. Hours before the wedding, I checked on the cake. The cake looked nothing like the picture I provided. I was very upset because there was nothing that could be done at this point. The wedding planner picked up the cake and signed off on it. It was totally different then what we had asked for. Later when we cut into the cake we realized the flavors and filling were incorrect as well. I was extremely disappointed. Monday after the wedding, I asked the planner to contact the bakery and let them know about the cake and to contact the caterer for my refund. I received an email, stating I can get a credit for a “regular-sized” cake from the bakery anytime in the next year, but no refund. I live in Washington and obviously have no way to use this. They ruined a once in a life time experience and a cake doesn’t make up for their bad service. The refund from the venue was $500. I was livid this was what I was told I would receive. I emailed wanting to know where the rest of my money was. The planner stated once they accounted for the "additional costs”, I didn't get a refund, but “by the grace of The Gaston," they would give me $500 since they felt bad about the way things were handled. The Gaston charged me for the cost of the tent. The owners never came to us with prices or asked us if we would cover a portion of the cost, or told us we had any responsibility for the cost of the tent at all. In fact, we flat out told them we did not want to pay for a tent, but they charged us for it anyway, informing us after the fact. After all that, the tent leaked badly, and my wedding dress was soaked and muddy after our first dance. Another once in a lifetime experience ruined. I definitely would not recommend The Gaston. The hassle we had to go through was not worth it. I hope no one has to go through this experience again. Weddings are expensive and it's not okay when the venue isn't honest about what they are charging you for.
Due to the pandemic we were looking for a space that understood our need for space and safety precautions. Our wedding weekend was so beautiful and everyone loved the venue! It was located close to downtown and provided valet which our guests loved. Staff wore masks and the space offers several spaces for guests to spread out. Highly recommend.
