Chelsea and her team are great - highly recommend working with her as your coordinator! Her responsiveness, conscientiousness, thoughtfulness and kindness made all the difference in our experience pre-wedding and on the wedding day! While Chelsea leaned in the most in the last 2-3 months prior to the wedding, we'd hired her about a year and a half before our wedding, and she was available for questions that entire time, which is much more than most month/day of coordinators offer. From answering our questions during our planning process, to building our timelines and coordinating with all vendors, to making sure our day went smoothly, Chelsea was very helpful. I'm very particular and type A, and Chelsea was extremely patient with me :). Highly recommend working with her and the Gilded Aisle!
Chelsea was so easy and fun to work with as our day-of wedding coordinator. As our day-of coordinator, Chelsea became involved in our wedding planning process a little more than 2 months prior to our wedding day, and from that moment on a weight was lifted off my shoulders! Chelsea stepped right in and began handling vendor communication, timeline creations, and kept my husband and I on track for a smooth wedding week. Chelsea was very responsive, professional, organized, patient with my many questions, and extremely kind.
At both rehearsal and on the day-of the wedding, Chelsea remained the point person for all questions from our families and bridal party, and we so appreciated her taking on that responsibility. Our entire family and bridal party commented on well-prepared Chelsea was for the wedding day, however after working with Chelsea the prior 2 months, we were not surprised :) Chelsea stayed at our venue until after 2am to ensure that all vendors wrapped up without issue. Additionally, Chelsea went above and beyond by offering to transport my rehearsal dinner dress back to the stylist's office the day after our wedding. This is a testament to both Chelsea's work ethic and kindness.
Because of Chelsea, our wedding day felt calm and organized, and we will be forever grateful for her allowing us to enjoy every moment of our wedding day without stress. Thank you Chelsea for everything that you did to ensure we had the best day!!
We couldn’t be more grateful for Chelsea and team. They were so organized, detail-oriented, and thoughtful, going above and beyond to make our day stress-free (bringing us water bottles while we were taking photos outside, helping pack up all of our things at the end of the night). Chelsea made our entire wedding weekend a dream! Once we began working with Chelsea, I no longer had to coordinate anything with any of our vendors. Chelsea asked me questions about things I hadn’t even thought about to ensure our wedding was the most perfect night, and without Chelsea, it would have been completely chaotic. She was with me from the second I woke up on my wedding day, and her team was the last to leave the venue at the end of the night. I can’t thank Chelsea enough for coordinating the wedding of my dreams and ensuring my husband and I got to enjoy every perfect minute.
Chelsea from The Gilded Aisle, was absolutely amazing. I was honestly on the fence, initially, as to whether we needed a month of planner, but after working with Chelsea, I truly have no idea how we would have done it without her! Our wedding day would not have been the same without her.
Leading up the the wedding, she organized and led meetings with us and our vendors, she created a very detailed entire day timeline, and she helped coordinate changes with our venue and vendors. On the day off, she was the first one there. She helped set up our decor, organized our vendors as they came and made sure everything ran smoothly.
One of the most unique things about Chelsea was her calm, kind and relaxed but SUPER organized demeanor. It was clear the whole day, her main goal was to help us have the best day. She would help keep us organized in a very calm, polite manner (and not at all pushy which I have experienced at other weddings!). We felt so grateful to have her running our day. We felt like she really allowed us and our parents to enjoy the day because she was handling all of the logistics and troubleshooting.
We HIGHLY recommend Chelsea, she was a pleasure to work with and made the month of planning and day or coordination a breeze!
I cannot stress enough how incredible Lynne Kennedy is! We hired Lynne as our day-of coordinator but it doesn't seem fair to call her that, as she answered countless emails of mine the entire year leading up to our wedding. She made sure that our wedding day was absolutely perfect and exceeded my expectations in every way. Lynne arrived at our bridal suite by 8am the morning of our wedding and stayed well after the last dance to ensure that all of our important personal items made their way back to our hotel room at the end of the night. She even set up a "lost and found" in our suite at the end of the night and collected everything that our guests had left behind at the reception. It was such a relief to be able to truly enjoy the entire day knowing that Lynne was there to handle anything that might go awry. Lynne is such a sweet person and an absolute pleasure to work with. I have no doubt that our wedding would not have been the same without her and am forever grateful for her!
Chelsea from The Gilded Aisle was an absolute DREAM to work with, and she made every step of our final months of planning a thousand times easier and less stressful, let alone how much she handled for us the day of our wedding (and even after!). I truly cannot say enough good things about our experiences with Chelsea and The Gilded Aisle.
We reached out to the Gilded Aisle based on a recommendation from Milian, my wedding hairstylist from Blush & Braids Beauty Bar; she had just worked with them on another wedding and had only positive things to say about how effective and professional they were, and she was right.
We hired Chelsea as our "month-of coordinator," which really began around 60 days ahead of the wedding. After an initial interview to get an idea of our budget, goals, aesthetics, etc. when we hired The Gilded Aisle in August 2021, Chelsea got us set up with the Gilded Aisle's "planning portal." Chelsea then reached out again closer to the 60-day mark to begin getting all the vendors' contact information, copies of the contracts, party members' contact information, etc.--any detail you can think of (and plenty I never would've thought of). We filled out a very thorough questionnaire that allowed Chelsea to get a handle on all the wedding details, and from then on Chelsea was like my second, more organized, more knowledgeable wedding brain. I'm very much a Type A person and generally enjoyed planning our wedding, but having Chelsea to organize, clarify, trouble-shoot, and "nitpick" (aka notice holes in the plans that I would have missed until it was the wedding day and no one remembered to pick up the cake) was a LIFESAVER. Chelsea was ALWAYS on top of communication and was happy to do so in whichever form worked best for me (in my case, it was email).
The entire process of wedding planning went so, so much smoother with Chelsea than it possibly could've gone without her. We were able to send our minimal decor (evergreen garlands for our tables and rented wireless uplights for our dancefloor) to her, so we never had to worry about getting them to the venue; she came to pick up our other decor the night before the wedding; she set up our decor exactly as I'd dreamed of it for both the ceremony AND the reception, INCLUDING assembling a paper moon photobooth I'd built with my grandpa and the softbox lights a friend donated to the photobooth cause. We were able to use decor that TGA already owned as well, meaning I didn't have to purchase easels for my DIY mirror signage, buy a 6' tall acrylic board for our escort board, or sink our life savings into enough tea lights and pillar candles for the space.
Chelsea delivered COVID rapid tests to guests day-of, got meals to a groomsman & his fiancee at their hotel when they tested positive day-of and could no longer attend--she even picked up my bouquet and our boutonnieres from the florist for us! She smoothed out problems before I even knew they existed, handled ALL of our decor, cards, guestbook, etc. for us at the end of the night, and even came TO US to drop off decor the Wednesday after our wedding. I truly do not know how we would've pulled off our wedding without Chelsea, who I think might secretly be superhuman.
If you're on the fence about hiring help for the wedding day, I can't urge you strongly enough to go for it. More specifically, hire The Gilded Aisle!! They will meet and exceed your expectations and make your wedding day even better than you thought it could be.
Lynne Kennedy at the Gilded Aisle is incredible! She helped plan my NYE wedding in 2021 and we could not have done everything for wedding planning and prep without the help of Lynne! She was extremely responsive, organized, and always valued our opinions in what we wanted for our wedding. I cannot recommend Lynne enough! I will definitely be recommending her to all my family and friends. Just stop searching for a wedding planner hire Lynne Kennedy already! :-) you will NOT be disappointed!
We hired Chelsea as our wedding coordinator 2 months out. I am obsessed with Chelsea. Seriously, I am convinced she is the most underpaid person in America for everything she does to go above and beyond. We got married during the peak of COVID Omicron variant which added so much extra stress with tons of cancellations extremely last minute. Chelsea handled everything like a pro. She always came up with creative solutions to every problem. The night before the wedding at the rehearsal they said I would have to walk down the aisle in a mask. Chelsea helped come up with possible work arounds so that I wouldn’t have to. She made our wedding day fantastic and we could not be more thankful. I regret not hiring her to plan the whole thing because I know it would have been stunning. Chelsea we love you and are so happy with how everything turned out!!
If there's one adjective I could use to describe our experience with Lynne Kennedy, it would be flawless. We hired Lynne as the day-of coordinator for our wedding, but it doesn't feel right to call her that because she was truly so much more. When I first sat down with Lynne she said to me, "think of me more as your month-of coordinator." It was clear from that first meeting that, with Lynne, we'd be in the best hands. Throughout the entire planning process, Lynne insisted on reviewing our contracts and making sure everything was set up for success from the get-go. And she really wasn't kidding about her involvement in the month leading up to the wedding (and beyond that). She was at every meeting, made sure that there was a plan in place for every single thing you could possibly imagine, and established & communicated timelines with everyone from our vendors to our bridal party. As is obvious, planning weddings can be quite stressful and it doesn't help that I'm a worrier by nature. But with Lynne, I was never worried. I knew she was on top of it all. I can never thank her enough for giving me that peace of mind.
One of the things I can't stress enough about Lynne is how calm her demeanor is. Planning events can innately be stressful, but she somehow makes it look easy. On the day of your wedding, you want to be surrounded by people who make you feel calm and relaxed - that's Lynne. She also showed up the morning of our wedding with fresh, homemade blueberry scones that we all devoured. How did she find the time to do that? I still am convinced she's superhuman. All day, she seamlessly floated between the getting ready suites at the hotel, the venue, and even made a stop at the store to get me throat coat tea. Our entire wedding went off without a hitch. I couldn't even tell you if something didn't initially go according to plan. At the end of the night, my husband and I were getting back to the hotel and there was Lynne, first leaving the hotel. It was past 1:30am. We got up to our suite and saw that the entire room had been turned over, there were flower petals everywhere, and Lynne had boxed up all of our items so we knew where everything was. We would not have been able to pull off the most perfect day of our lives without Lynne and, for that, we are forever grateful.
