We got married outside in the garden at English Hills Terrace, and it was beautiful. We had our reception inside in the Continental Room, and it was so pretty and well done. We didn't have any complaints about the food- everyone loved it! There are so many options, and Paul and Kim are so friendly and helpful. They made our day great!

We had our wedding reception at the Country Club in the British Open room. It was gorgeous and all of our guests loved it! We stayed pretty basic and just added the wall of lights behind the head table for decorations, besides what we did ourselves. Everyone loved the setup and they are still raving about the food! We did a strolling dinner with three stations, the Asian food, especially, is to die for! I definitely recommend using this venue for your celebration! They have a lot of options for set up, decorations and a ton of food options! They also work with/recommend several other vendors which was very helpful in finding our DJ. We worked mostly with Kim but their entire staff is very helpful, friendly and professional. We could not be more pleased and are so happy we decided on English Hills!

My daughter, Tiffany had her wedding at English Hills in July! It was great! We wished that we had the ceremony in the gardens because the church was such a hassle and the garden was beautiful! It was great to get some pictures done in it! The food was great! Most weddings I have gone to have terrible food, but not here. I would go there often if it was a restaurant. The staff was friendly and professional. Overall great experience.

Amazing service and staff! Our wedding reception went flawlessly. Thank you all who made it so special. We will be back for a milestone anniversary party if not before.

Best customer service ever! Kim mad everything so fun and so easy. The venue is beautiful and the prices are fantastic. I didn't think I could have such a great reception on my budget but it was amazing! My friends told me that it was the best food they ever had at a wedding reception! Love English Hills and definitely recommend it!

English Hills was absolutely amazing to us with their customer service. We had requests for certain things and they made it all possible. During the beginning of the reception we had a little delay and they were wiling to work it out to where everything would still run smoothly. Kim was very sweet and kept in constant communication with us regarding all the planning and was very genuine since the beginning. We are extremely happy with how everything turned out and our hall looked perfect for our special day!

I absolutely loved our time at English Hills! We had the British Open room, got married and had the reception all in the same room and everything went so smoothly. The room and gardens on site are all just absolutely beautiful. I would have our big day there over and over again! It was amazing, and I couldn't have asked for more. David walked me through everything and dealt with my obnoxious amount of questions with ease. Shelly was our coordinator for the day and she was a joy to work with. She meshed so well with everyone at the wedding and she is just great at her job all around. I would recommend to definitely check this place out when looking for your venue!

We couldn't have imagined picking a better venue. The staff made it so easy to plan the ceremony and reception from 3 hours away. They never pressured us into anything and they are very up front about fees and how the day will go. The staff the day of the wedding was amazing. It rained a bit that day, but they still managed to get our outdoor ceremony space set up and the reception was perfect. The staff genuinely cared about our day and made sure everything was the way we pictured. If you are looking for a fun staff to work with, a great reception space, and beautiful ceremony space English Hills Terrace is the way to go!

We had our ceremony in the Rose Garden and it was absolutely beautiful, it was everything I dreamed of and more! There were beautiful flowers all around. We had our reception in the British Open right near the Rose Garden. It was the perfect size for our wedding! Everything was decorated beautifully! The food was absolutely amazing, we got so many compliments! People were even talking about it days later! The spinach artichoke dip for the appetizer was absolutely delicious, as were the cheddar mashed potatoes!! I wish I had eaten more of them! I would 100% recommend English Hills for your ceremony, reception of both!

Beyond happy my husband and I decided to have our wedding reception at English hills. They have a staff that helps with planning, set up and clean up, and catering. Made our wedding planning process less stressful. Also, the staff is very friendly!!

If you can get through the pain of dealing with the event coordinator David, this venue is actually pretty decent. Pro's: -British Room was very spacious with a great layout and dance floor -Food during the tasting was average at best, however, the day of the event it was absolutely amazing! (great job kitchen staff!) -Event staff was polite and helpful. They even fixed an obstruction on the building the day of the wedding. -Priced well for size and options Cons: -David the event coordinator (why? attitude and communication skills. He will out diva any bride I guarantee it) -If you are a craft beer drinker good luck. They only have a small selection of craft beers that they offer and you have to purchase from their list. Overall, if you can get through the setup and coordination process at English Hills you'll be in good shape. Great venue that I would recommend to others!

Our experience at English Hills was nothing but spectacular! Everything about it! Their food is great and their customer service is the best we've received! They never once took more than a day to respond to emails and were so flexible accommodating our weekend only availability. We are living out of state currently and they made planning a wedding from 400 miles away so easy! They don't charge a room rental fee if you reach a certain amount for the food/drinks, and that saved us a lot! We had our reception in the ballroom and it was beautiful! I would highly, highly recommend them!

The staff was incredible! Our wedding and reception was held at the West River Drive location. They were patient will all of my thousands of questions. They were able to help me every step of the way. The food options were great and even when we ran into a snag with the weather (the ceremony was outdoors), they were there to help keep things rolling. They allowed for my husband and I to pay all along the way to ensure that we were not hit with a GIANT bill at the end. Extremely flexible and great customer service. A few of my co-workers recently got engaged and I will definitely refer them to English Hills

Out of all vendors in my wedding, English Hills was the best out of all them. They don't charge a price on renting the room, they only charge for the food and decorations if you want them! The food is awesome as well. Huge hit at our wedding was the chocolate fountain that we added per person with the buffet style. English hills has everything available for your reception as well to rent from them. We used their projector for our photos, speakers and microphone for announcements and music, also lights for decoration. The best part of English Hills, is they have 2 open houses in the spring and fall for you if you have a wedding with them. At the open house you can taste all the foods and hey bring in vendors from every category for your wedding. I couldn't be more pleased with this company. The night of the wedding, they had all the food ready and served on time, they had enough staff, also everything with the lights were ready to go. They are also on an beautiful golf course for pictures and guests to walk outside. This place is where you want to go for the price and the service. Thank you English Hills!

English Hills was sepctacular! They were very accomodating from the very start when we were looking around at venues. They were very informative with inforamtion and they provide open houses so you are able to sample the food and see examples of the gorgeous decorations they can offer! They are great at communicating in a tiemly manner and really go above and beyond to help you get every detail planned. We got married October 11, 2014 in the Continental room at the Terrace location. The room was beautiful, the food was delicious! My friends and relatives are still raving about the entire night, including the service, food, decor, and the room itself. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this venue!

I found English Hills after a venue I had planned fell through. Linda emailed right away and I went to view the venue the very next day. I instantly fell in LOVE! I had my ceremony in their beautiful rose garden at the country club and the reception in the PGA room. The staff was super helpful and nice and helped me through all aspects of my wedding. The food was AMAZING!! The quality and quantity was just right! If I had to do it all over again, I would use English Hills. I tell anyone and everyone how wonderful the staff and location is!

Absolutely wonderful place. The room was beautiful, the food was fantastic and the staff were great! We did the All Our Favorites option and it included appetizers, a FULL bar including wine, dinner, coffee bar, raspberry lemonade punch bowl, and 5 huge pizza's that were brought out about 9:30 pm- not a single piece was left. We were in the Continental Room which was perfect. There is the lower level where the bar is located with plenty of space for mingling and chatting with people. We had an 8 foot table, that English Hills provided,that we set up with a candy buffet in this area with the wedding cake in the middle of the table as the main focus and it was a huge hit! The staff were very attentive- we were thinking they had "eyes" in the ceiling because if something was needed they were there before we even had to ask. Thank you English Hills...my daughter and son in law loved everything.

My daughter's wedding was beautiful and service was excellent. We had so many compliments from friends and family who really enjoyed themselves. Dinner was wonderful!

I wouldn't recommend anywhere else! Everyone was great to work with and Linda was great!!!!! Everyone LOVED the food. I was definitely one of those people. Soo yummy! (:

Absolutely amazing. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted with smiles and friendliness. Everyone is so kind and willing to help. The food is amazing and very reasonably priced. Linda is an amazing planner and decorator

My husband and I had our wedding reception in the "British Open" room. We chose the "All Our Favorites" package and enjoyed every part of it. The food was delicious! What really made the night amazing was the staff. Linda helped with making our night special and the staff had everything set up before the reception. I didn't have to lift a finger. They made sure everything ran as smoothly as possible and it made the night perfect. I couldn't say enough great things about English Hills. I recommend them to everyone!

English Hills did an excellent job organizing and throwing our wedding reception! The English Hills staff, our wedding coordinator Linda, and our DJ Justin Loser exceeded our expectations! At our reception, my husband and I did not have to worry about a thing. Everything ran so smoothly and we had a blast! Thanks again to everyone who made our wedding day perfect!

I got married at English Hills July 21, 2012 and everything went perfect!!! Linda, the Event/Sales Coordinator was so helpful and one of the nicest people you could ever be around. My husband said he wanted to book at English Hills mainly because he liked house honest Linda was about what English offered and how there weren't any hidden cost. Linda also does centerpieces for less than $20 a table. My wedding colors were Yellow and Gray and of COURSE it was hard to find anything in yellow. I went to Linda to see if she had anything and she didn't but she said she would look around for me. I told her since she would have to buy it all I would pay more if she would help me. In the end she had to buy and custom make all of my centerpieces and she said she wouldn't charge me extra!!! I paid regular price for brand new centerpieces!!! We had our ceremony and reception in the same room which worked out perfect. We took pictures in the Terrace Garden which has a beautiful flowers and gorgeous gazebo which made my photos turn out beautiful! Now lets get to the FOOD!!! I wasn't one of those brides that didn't eat at they're reception...I made sure I ate it all because the food was amazing! Every time I saw a server or the chef they were always smiling and very polite! I even had some of my guest tell me how nice and helpful the servers were to them. Overall my experience with English Hills couldn't have turned out any better. If i could get married there again right now I would!

Catering through here was great. There was a ton of food for a reasonable price, and everyone loved it.

It's more than just a business to them - they actually love what they do. Unfortunately, I was hospitalized for our original wedding date and Linda at English Hills was AMAZING! She worked with me to reschedule my wedding just 3 weeks later AND it didn't cost me anything extra! In fact, everyone at English Hills set up the reception hall for me because I couldn't - and it was PERFECT! They honestly treated me as if I were a member of their family and I can't say enough how great they are! We booked the ballroom and it was gorgeous! The chandelier in there is absolutely stunning and made for some great pictures on the dance floor. The service was wonderful! Hands down - the best reception venue!

We had our reception in the ballroom at the Terrace, it was BEAUTIFUL!!! Everything turned out so nice and they were great to work with! The food was unreal! I am cheap which is what first drew me to English Hills but after seeing how it turned out I would have picked it even if money wasn't a concern! We had over 200 people and we didnt have to worry about a thing! So nice!!

Food was great, the room was set up just as we wanted, staff was on top of things! The only negative experience was dealing with the sales staff who weren't very organized and couldn't answer questions while the regular lady who deals with wedding details was on vacation for awhile.

Honestly the food was great the drinks were great the servers weren't that impressive and took food from people before they were finished and no one knew how to work the lights in the building so there were times our guest couldn't see what was going on.

We booked the ballroom. They really worked w/ us to help us get what we wanted. It seemed like there were a lot of hidden charges for linens and decor and tables which came up in the end, but overall it was a great experience

We had our wedding receiption at the country club in Sept 2012. The staff was so helpful and friendly that it helped make our day. We have received tons of complements on the great service and food that was served. I would highly recommend them for anyone looking for a receiption hall.

I used the British Open room for my wedding. I loved the layout of the room and Linda decorated it wonderfully. I did not want the light wall behind my head table but they put it up anyways. They said it was easier for them to do it on Thursday for the whole weekend then to put it up on Saturday morning (after my Friday reception). I was disappointed in this because I really did not want it. I was told I could get it taken back down but that it would "be a big inconvenience". They were not very organized when it came to all the beforehand stuff, but looking back, nothing went wrong so I cannot complain too much! The food was wonderful, the servers were awesome, it was a beautiful site!

They showed complete dedication to me and my wedding. They made the process fun and enjoyable. Didnt hear one bad thing about the food, it was the best buffet ive had. The service was right on schedule and very professional.

They let us decorate the hall the day before our reception which was super great and took a lot of stress off of my family on the wedding day. The food was good and everyone had a great time at the party. My mom said that the employees were very helpful to her the day of the event.

I was very happy with the service English Hills provided. The location was beautiful, we booked the Masters Open room at the country club. The room had a lot of natural light and I really liked the set up. Everyone on the staff was incredibly helpful, we also paid them to decorate for us and everything was beautiful. We had a lot of compliments back on the food. I would book another event with them in a heartbeat!

I had my wedding reception at Enlgish Hills Country Club in the ballroom. I could not have asked for friendlier or more helpful staff. The food was delicious and I received numerous compliments on how good the food was. Linda was my wedding coordinator and she did an amazing job with all the decorations and the set up! My wedding reception was everything I have ever dreamed of because of English Hills! I would recommend them to any other bride looking for the perfect reception hall.

Englis Hills made everything a breeze! They are extremely flexible and took my biggest worries away. Everyone raved about the food, and I actual got to eat! They were very affordable as long as you hit their minimum which is really easy to do and they have a room for every size and budget!

The food here was EXCELLENT!!! The food was flavorful, fresh and very nicely presented. Well worth it!

We had the most amazing wedding reception at English Hills Country Club. The service and food was EXCELLENT!!! I could not have asked for a better night! Pricing was great, the staff that worked with us was fabulous, they were a great help with decoration ideas, helping me execute what I wanted and they really cared.

English Hills was very wonderful through the whole process. They were great at keeping communication going through reminders and phone calls. They were very willing to work with us on pricing. We had some additions/deletions to our menu and wanted to be creative and they were willing to accomidate us. They allowed us to do some non-traditional things like bringing in an ice-cream cart which was a big hit at our reception. The day of the wedding the staff was very helpful and everything ran smoothly and looked great. Extremely accomidating venue.

The food was honestly the best "wedding food" I've ever had and have had nothing but the most amazing compliments. There was plenty of it, it was fresh and hot and served in a very timly mannor!

The food was great, the atmophere was great, but the seating was pretty tight, especially for the head table. We could barely get behind someone already seated, that was uncomfortable. We got a lot of compliments on the site and it was very nice. Great staff to work with too.

English Hills Country Club was amazing for not only our reception but for our ceremony also. It was a great spot to do it all and everything went great and we got all positive comments from ALL of our guests.
