The Glover Mansion

enue coordinator Kelsey and the whole team made sure we had an itinerary so we were all prepared and on the same page. They have microphones to use and a speaker system, we played everything right from Spotify and it worked perfectly! It was sooo so easy to plan, everything went very smoothly, and we're thrilled with the venue. Highly recommend!

location all day. They have separate rooms for the bride & grooms party. The only downfall is the bridal room is a little dark. We did have some problems with using their music system(speakers playing background music from pandora)(my chosen music was never played for the reception ).

I live out-of-town, which made planning a little trickier, but she was readily available any time I needed to email or call to get information. Ellery, our day-of coordinator, was a kind, calming, knowledgeable presence who made the day run smoothly and allowed myself and my husband to simply enjoy! The entire staff on the day of the wedding, including Demetrius and Mason, were so wonderful. They were readily available to answer questions or help with anything we needed, and were so sweet and kind. I could not have asked for more professional, capable, caring people to help us put on the event, nor could I have asked for a more beautiful venue. It was more incredible than I had envisioned it could be, and I am so happy with how it turned out! A huge bonus is that the staff at the Glover have great relationships with our other vendors (floral, cake, dj, etc.), which made the day run even more smoothly! I highly recommend the Glover!

and the staff that worked the event- the waiters/waitresses/bar staff only were very courteous. The bad- In the beginning we had Kellie as our coordinator, then in January when attempting to email Kellie, I got an undeliverable message so I had to email another gal, Kim. Kim stated Kellie no longer worked there! Apparently Kellie gave her notice last November and no one notified us! You would think I deserve to know as soon as possible when this kind of thing happens, after all I am the paying customer.I was later assigned to a new lady, Kelsee. The coordination of my event appeared to be good on the outside. Kelsee agreed to all of my requests. She then told me there would be a different lady the day of event named Nicole who I would meet at my rehearsal walk through. I meet Nicole who THEN tells me I will have another different coordinator the day of the wedding between 10am-2pm, Nicole would not arrive until 2pm. Now on my wedding package I was quote for one coordinator, I would not be so mad that I got 3 if it weren't for the fact that these 3 people did not communicate at all with each other. Everything I told Kelsee I had to repeat to the other 2 people. When I got there, all the things that I asked for from Kelsee were not there, the table layout was wrong eventhough I personally modified the table layout and emailed to Kelsee stating that I expected the tables to look my pdf document and they STILL did it wrong. Plus wrong table cloths& missing pieces of centerpiece. I also made a wedding madlibs for the tables, Kelsee stated staff would not throw away anything we brought, but before you know it, the staff threw them away! I do not recommend this place unless you're just looking for good food. It was a poorly executed wedding event.

I put that in quotes, because the staff of Glover Mansion really went above and beyond to make sure that we had a great day. Their staff was easy to plan with and were so helpful the-day-of. I had the most relaxing morning, the food was delicious and Brittni was great at helping us avoid an almost tragic cake mishap. If I had to do it all over again, I'd pick Glover every time.

e of our wedding (November). However, they have a gorgeous area for an outdoor ceremony/reception in the summer! They provide a Bridal Suite to get ready in as well as a Groomsman Room for the guys. Our wedding was at 4 in the afternoon, so we were there early getting ready. They allowed our make-up and hair vendors to come early to do hair and make-up on site, which was so fun! They put out a beautiful spread for lunch for everyone coming and going in the wedding party. They have a wedding coordinator on site so we didn't have to hire someone outside of the venue to help with the details. They take care of the centerpieces (including flowers) and provide all of the linens, dinnerware, and utensils. The Glover really was one-stop shopping for our wedding. Kellie, Kendra, Hannah, and everyone else were AMAZING in helping our dream day happen. The set-up of the mansion allowed us to have all of our common friends seated in one area and all of our family and close family friends in one area so common groups could easily mingle. It also made it fun for guests to walk around and peek around the Mansion. Overall, The Glover Mansion was a dream for us.
