I could not recommend The Gown Shop enough! The store is so cute and comfortable. Stacy was a pleasure to work with and the pre-appointment questionnaire made finding my perfect dress a breeze! I love that appointments are 1-on-1 and she made me feel so comfortable while trying dresses on. She had multiple dresses pulled that she thought I would like based off my preferences and the first dress I tried on was the dress that I said yes too! It came in exactly when she said it would and fit perfectly! I definitely will be recommending The Gown Shop and Stacy to everyone!

I had the most amazing experience! When scheduling my appointment, Stacy was so flexible with my schedule and also very communicative. Since this appointment was not my first experience dress shopping, she sat down with me at the beginning to really discuss what I liked in previous dresses. She also made a point throughout the appointment to get to know me and my fiancé's story as well as my party which was very personal and made the day that much more fun! Stacy has a very effective process of picking a handful of dresses at a time and going off of those choices to guide the rest of the appointment. For an indecisive person and overthinker (such as myself) this was great and ensured things were not overwhelming! She also provided a variety of gloves and veils for me to try on once I got down to my top dresses. When I chose my dream dress she explained all the costs and answered all questions I had regarding the process thereafter. Stacy is very knowledgeable, organized, flexible, and kind. The Gown Shop was my first time wedding dress shopping and Stacy did not disappoint. She was so professional, friendly, and did an amazing job at listening to what I liked and didn’t like about each dress and then pulling the next one based on that feedback. I had the absolute BEST experience I could’ve hoped for while dress shopping for the first (and only!) time. Prior to my appointment, I emailed TGS several inspiration photos of dresses I loved, and the dresses were added to my “profile”, I chatted briefly with my stylist upon starting my appointment, and the second dress she pulled that I tried on, I knew was the one! I immediately had my mom FaceTime my sister to show her, and when I agreed to try other dresses on, I just didn’t want to take the dress off! After trying on about 6 more gowns, I knew I had to put gown #2 back on… add in a veil, and I knew that was it! Truly the best experience ever buying both my dream dress and perfect veil for my wedding day! I’d recommend TGS over and over again to anyone in the market for a wedding dress!

The Gown Shop is an amazing option for Perrysburg brides! Jen helped me throughout the entire process of getting my dress. She went above and beyond by ordering an older style of dress I requested from Essence of Australia. While I had my heart set on this dress before my try-on appointment, Jen did a great job of suggesting other dress and veil styles according to my preferences. I never felt uncomfortable while trying on the dresses, and Jen provided honest opinions and advice. Ordering and picking up the dress was simple, and The Gown Shop provides a list of seamstresses in the area. Debi Ballachino did an amazing job altering my dress to make it fit my body and feel good the entire wedding day. I highly recommend this bridal shop to any bride looking for their dream dress!

The Gown Shop exceeded my expectations! I have known for a long time I wanted my wedding dress from here! Jen was fabulous and made me feel so comfortable! She pulled dresses I swore before walking in the shop I would never wear! Boy was I wrong!! The gown I said yes to was everything I could’ve dreamed of but nothing I thought I’d ever be able to wear! I could not be happier with my experience at The Gown Shop. Growing up in Perrysburg, I knew for years this would be where I got my wedding dress. Their collection of dresses is unique and constantly updating. The lady who did my alterations alters dresses from here frequently. She told me she can only count on one hand how many duplicates she's seen! Your dress will be special and not seen over and over again on multiple brides. I was the only bride in the shop for my appointment which was incredible. Jen did a wonderful job pulling dresses that were exactly what I wanted. This shop was absolutely perfect! She helped me find the elegant dress I was looking for and j didn’t even have to go to another shop!

The Gown Shop was so amazing to work with! Jen did a consult with me before my visit to get an idea of what I was looking for. She did NOT disappoint! Not only did she have the most beautiful lineup of gowns ready for me when I arrived for my appointment, she already knew which one I would love the most! I chose a beautiful Martina Liana gown, and Jen helped me to make a few changes to it to customize it. I was blown away when it arrived, because it was exactly what I wanted! I couldn’t have asked for a better experience or a more beautiful wedding dress!

The Gown Shop was my third stop wedding dress shopping. Stacy spent time with me in the beginning of the appointment asking details about what styles I had liked, didn't like, neck lines, etc to help make the most use of our time. She did a fantastic job selecting dresses in the silhouette (fitted) I was looking for, and one by one got more specific on what was working and what wasn't with neck line and other details. I tried on about 10 dresses and the FINAL dress was the ONE! It was lovely to have Stacy, the owner, helping me and guiding me through along with my mom and best friend. The shop is lovely and comfortable. I'm looking forward to being back in the shop with her when my dress comes in. I have recommended the gown shop to every bride I know! The experience was beyond perfect. I completed the online inquiry and they got back to me quickly and were very honest about which dresses would be in my budget, which I appreciated greatly! The Gown Shop was one of the best experiences I had gown shopping. Jen was super nice and so willing to work with me and what I wanted even though my style of dress changed dramatically. Great personal service and felt no pressure to purchase. I was offered a discount for purchasing the same day as I first visited, so would suggest if you know you plan on trying different vendors, shop here last. I was out of state while planning and they were wonderfully flexible about my timing needs. I would also share that they do have a no-show policy that was the steepest cost, so make sure that your plans are firm.

I had the most amazing experience at The Gown Shop. This was my first time trying on gowns and by dress 2, I knew I had found the one. They truly listen to your vision and do not pull gowns outside of that. I’m forever grateful for this shop and can’t wait to wear my gown in a few months!

I had the best experience at The Gown Shop. Stacy is incredible! This was my very first wedding dress appointment, and it ended up being the only one I needed. Prior to trying on dresses, my mom and I sat down with Stacy and discussed what I wanted, plus I had sent her a few pictures from Pinterest of dresses I liked. It turned out that the very first dress I tried on was THE dress!! Stacy found exactly what I had described, and I could not believe that it could be so easy. Her expertise made it such a seamless experience. I would recommend her to anyone!

I live in Chicago now but I wanted to get my dress at The Gown Shop because of what I’ve heard/seen from friends and family. I was not disappointed!! Stacey is amazing at what she does. I came in honestly not sure on a lot of things and she showed me all my options and helped me pick out the perfect dress. I’m obsessed with my dress. The overall experience was amazing! Will refer any future brides here.

A few weeks prior to my appointment, I went in with a friend who was also dress shopping. Although the emails say to only bring four because of COVID, she brought five and there was no problem. When I went in, I assumed that would be okay and also brought five guests as well but upon arrival and meeting Stacey, she was upset and said the emails stated only to bring four guests. I understand that but I didn’t know why it was a big deal with my appointment and not my friends, and there were already five chairs set up in front of the fitting room anyway. Other than that she was helpful when finding dresses I liked in my price range and I still purchased a dress that day for an amazing price, just a very awkward start and I didn’t understand why she had to say anything when she made exceptions for some and had the store ready for five guests.

Becoming a TGS bride has been a dream of mine FOREVER and when it came time for my appointment I definitely was not disappointed. Not only is the shop beautiful but Stacy is extremely nice and so knowledgeable. She really made finding my dress easy and stress-free. I’d definitely recommend TGS to all brides-to-be!

I could brag about Stacy and The Gown Shop all day. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt so welcomed. Compared to a different bridal gown shop I was at, there was a very different, but amazing and more personable vibe here. The fact that I had the entire shop to myself with Stacy going over every little thing I had in mind made me feel so important and so special, which meant so much to me. She helped me into and out of every dress and was so patient and attentive. The first dress that she picked out for me was the dress that I said YES to. And I couldn’t be happier. My dress shopping experience at The Gown Shop with Stacy exceeded my expectations by far.

I loved my experience at The Gown Shop! Stacy was awesome and knew exactly what to pull. I had tried on a lot of dresses before including the dress I said yes to but Stacy helped me make it exactly as I pictured it. The store is super cute as well and I think it had a great selection of dresses. Well worth the 1.5 hour drive!

I was very hesitant about writing this review, but I think it’s important to share my experience at the Gown Shop. Let me start by saying I’ve passed by this shop for several years and really looked forward to my special time to go in and find my gown. The first dress Stacy put me in is the gown I ended up selecting. There were some aspects of the dress I didn’t love but Stacy reassured me that the gown was very customizable, and I could change the neckline, add straps, open the back etc. She told me that these are her favorite gowns to help design and reassured me she had plenty of experience with ordering and could certainly make my vision come alive. I put down half the payment in February 2021 and paid the remaining balance April 1st, 2021. I was told the gown would be at the shop in July. I started calling the gown shop towards the end of June to inquire about my dress- no answer. After 4th of July weekend, I became a bit more persistent with my phone calls- called daily. I started leaving voicemails, emailing and texting the Gown Shop number that was used to make my initial appointment. No response in any form. It got to the point where I had to call the designer of my gown who reassured me that they would get in touch with Stacy to reach out to me. It was 4:30 on Friday July 23rd when she finally called to let me know that my gown was never ordered, and it would be impossible for my gown to be made in a short time frame. This was devastating for multiple reasons. She had known for several weeks that there was an issue but didn’t let me know because she was trying to solve things on her end but by doing this, she deprived me of precious time I could’ve had to get a new dress. I will say that she offered a few solutions. First, she offered to get the sample gown I tried on, but without the custom changes the designer was going to make. Stacy also offered 4 different dresses I could have from her shop that were in my size but very different from what I wanted. While these offers were appreciated, none of them were what I wanted, and I don’t believe these limited choices we’re a sufficient offer to remedy the egregious error that was made. Even if I would have been happy with one of the few options she offered, I still would have been incapable of trusting her to carry out her responsibilities as a gown provider without making another mistake with so little time before my wedding. I tried to offer her the opportunity to make things right and to correct this error, by paying for my new gown from another shop, which was only a fourth of the cost of the dress I originally purchased from her, and she declined to do anything beyond what she first offered. My custom-made gown was the aspect of my wedding day I was most looking forward to, and Stacy assured me that she could make it a reality. To learn that the gown that I paid for in full several months prior wasn’t even ordered, was devastating. I understand we are all human, and mistakes do unfortunately happen, but Stacy’s lack of communication left me incredibly anxious, and her unwillingness to work together on finding a solution that worked for ME was extremely disappointing. Unfortunately, my experience at the Gown Shop is one I wouldn’t wish on any other bride.

I had an absolutely amazing time picking out my wedding dress and veil at The Gown Shop! Stacy listened to everything I envisioned my wedding dress would be, and immediately picked out the perfect dress! I tried on dresses at a different store, but never got “the feeling”. Before Stacy pulled back the curtain, I had tears in my eyes and knew the dress she chose was “the one”. Stacy had excellent recommendations for veils that would complement my dress, and gave me a list of tailors in the area. I highly recommend Stacy and The Gown Shop. She helped make me feel like an absolute princess on my wedding day!

Ever since my visit to the gown shop bridal, I have not stopped raving about my experience to anyone who will listen. I went to three different dress shops and TGSB surpassed all of them. Stacy has so much experience, knowledge and passion for the industry. She sat down with me and my family to discuss my vision before even trying anything on. The private shopping environment made me feel less insecure and rushed. I am usually stressed and overwhelmed while shopping, but Stacy made me feel so relaxed and comfortable. She is an expert clipper and made dresses 4x my size look like they were made for me and it really helped me visualize the dresses better. I really thought I was never going to "love" my dress after my experience at other stores, but Stacy found two dresses that I fell in love with. She was so patient; I tried on my two favorite dresses multiple times while making a decision. My wedding dress is the first dress I ever said "I love this" out loud. Stacy is an absolute angel and I can't wait until my dress arrives.

Wow, I’m not even sure where to begin! I guess I’ll start by saying if you’re starting to look for a gown, start and end at The Gown Shop! Stacy was amazing to work with and provided the most personable one-on-one experience I could have only hoped for. I scheduled an appointment here after multiple recommendations and attended my appointment with this idea of all these things that I wanted for my wedding dress. I was very indecisive and Stacy was a rockstar with her patience and understanding and I ended up walking away without a gown. It wasn’t until a week later after a second appointment at a separate bridal shop that I went back to The Gown Shop and found my dream dress that I didn’t even know was my dream dress until I tried it on! It was important to me that I shopped and bought local, and it was really the amazing experience at The Gown Shop that made me want to go back and try on a few more dresses. Stacy does a great job at making you feel like the most important bride. It’s only been about a week since becoming a TGS Real Bride and I’m still reliving my appointment and that experience! Trust me, you will not regret taking the time to shop at The Gown Shop!

Perfection is the one word answer to my experience at the gown shop! I had been to a few places previous to the gown shop, but knew in my heart this is where I should go. Previous to the gown shop experience dress shopping was not enjoyable, stressful and I felt worried I wasn’t going to find a dress. The minute I walked into the gown shop I already felt relaxed, and excited. Stacy welcomes you with a huge smile, her energy alone is amazing! Also the first dress I tried in was the one! Not what I had picked but Stacy did amazing! My dress shopping experience was full of good belly laughs, amazing dresses, but also honest advice. I tried many dresses on, and each was equally beautiful and made of great quality but I just kept comparing them to my first dress! My grandma, mon, and my self all left that day having not just finding my dress but having such as amazing time! My grandma said we should invite Stacy to my wedding - so she made a huge impact on her as well lol! I highly recommend The Gown Shop! I had my appointment Saturday and it was such a great experience. Stacy is very knowledge and listens to your feedback on each dress. She uses your feedback to help find the perfect dress. During my appointment I was able to try on about ten different dresses. All of the dresses were gorgeous and within my price range. Stacy asked my budget right away and only put me in dresses which were within my budget. I ended up loving two dresses and was having a hard time choosing. She was very patient as I tried both dresses back on multiple times. I did not feel any pressure to choose a dress before leaving the store. Stacy told me to go home and think about it and gave great advice about how to choose. I ended up texting the store to order my dress a few hours later after I could not stop thinking about one dress. The shop itself is gorgeous. I loved how intimate the appointment felt. The store being closed during your appointment allows you to feel special and not rushed at all. Again I highly recommend The Gown Shop!

I can’t tell you how amazing my experience was with Stacy at The Gown Shop! I was a ball of anxiety going into dress shopping but the moment I walked in those doors, Stacy made me feel like a queen! It truly felt like a personalized experience that was all about me. She does her research and asks all the right questions so I never tried on a dress I didn’t like. Not to mention, her inventory only includes the best! Even during COVID restrictions, she made us feel comfortable and safe while still being able to have a fun time with my bride tribe! TGS exceeded my expectations! My mom and I were supposed to go dress shopping in Atlanta but because of the pandemic, we modified our plan to stay in Ohio. The Gown Shop was at the top of my list. Stacy was able to schedule me for an appointment the next day and I shared some bridal gown inspirations, wedding details, and planned dress budget. The appointment was completely private and Stacy picked out a handful of dresses that matched the photos I sent and were in my price range! She was so attentive, compassionate, and asked thoughtful questions to help me think about each dress that I tried on. I wasn’t able to say “yes” the day of my appointment because I LOVED a couple dresses and thought it would be best to sleep on it. Stacy was completely understanding and never pushed me to make a decision that I wasn’t ready to make. I came back a day or two later and ended up saying “YES” to the first dress I tried on. Stacy is magic!! I picked up my dress from TGS last week and I’m SO excited for my wedding day. While I was there for my bridal gown try-on, I also tried on veils. Stacy walked me through all the possibilities and helped me order my dream veil! The whole experience was everything I could have hoped for and this was such a smooth process. I highly recommend Stacy and TGS for any bride who is looking to feel special through the entire bridal gown shopping experience.

Dress shopping at The Gown Shop was all I could dream of and more. My fiancé works on the same downtown strip as The Gown Shop and I have been dreaming of going there to dress shop for many years! I found a dress ahead of time that I loved on their instagram page. It was the first dress I tried on and I fell in love. Stacy also helped me try on other style dresses so I could be sure of my choice. Stacy was so sweet, let me discuss with my family while she also inserted a bit of her wisdom. After I said yes to the dress we went out to checkout and she wrote Future Mrs. ____ (my future last name) on her letter board! It was a very sweet little quirk. I thought the prices were just in line with what I imaged and there was a nice size selection. I would highly recommend any bride come find their dream dress at this store!

Stacy is amazing to work with!! I found my dress at her shop the first time trying on dresses. All appointments are personalized and private to only you and your guests. It was so fun and intimate to have the store to ourselves to find the perfect dress. I got my jewelry and accessories from Stacy as well and everything was beautiful! There was a mix up with my necklace and Stacy made sure everything was corrected and fixed in a timely fashion. Love The Gown Shop and LOVED the dress I chose for my big day.

She quickly was able to pinpoint the vibe I was going for and helped me to find the most gorgeous, perfect dresses. After trying on about 10 that looked absolutely stunning, I was able to narrow it down to THE dress, and Stacy was so genuinely happy and excited for me.
