Tessie and the Grand Ballroom staff were amazing to work with! They helped us with every step and made sure that we had nothing to worry about on our wedding day. The Grand was gorgeous and Tessie set up all the centerpieces so that it looked like our dream wedding!

Tessie and her team were fantastic in helping us put on our wedding reception at the Grand Ballroom. She over communicated throughout the entire process and went over every detail we could think of, and many details we never considered. Her staff was extremely professional on the day of and everything was laid our perfectly for our event. Additionally, The Grand Ballroom is absolutely beautiful. We looked at a few other venues prior to looking at The Grand but immediately stopped after being shown that ballroom. I'm not sure it can be beat. We highly recommend everything about this venue and the staff who made sure the event was perfect.

Tessie and the Grand Ballroom were amazing to work with! She was able to give us ideas and really helped us to enhance any ideas we had. Our night was a dream! We loved looking up and being able to see friends on the second balcony, I had never been to a venue like this! I can’t recommend this venue enough!

Would recommend this venue for any wedding! Extremely affordable and our event planner made things so easy for us. The two levels created a really cool look and feel for us. It also provided some really cool photo ops. Everything went according to plan on our special day and a lot of that was thanks to the service provided by McHale’s staff!

Tessie and the Grand Ballroom absolutely blew us away. From the professionalism in our first meeting, to the follow through and execution of a perfect reception, the McHales's team at the Grand Ballroom checked all of the boxes. We highly recommend their seated meals, as their staff are well trained at taking care of the serving quickly, and really utilize their open door policy to test your decor and see what works and what doesn't. We were so pleased with everything from McHale's.

We could not have asked for a better reception venue. Tessie and the day of team went above and beyond to make sure every detail was perfect. They handled everything and made sure to check in with us and our parents throughout the evening to make sure everything was going according to plan or even just get them a drink. Their prices were fair and transparent, and the contract process was extremely organized. Everyone complimented the food as well! McHales has weddings down to a science to make an event personalized and stress free.

I had my wedding at the Grand Ballroom on November 11th, 2022. Let me start by saying the space itself is absolutely GORGEOUS! It's set up perfectly to have both your ceremony and reception as they have a balcony area for cocktail hour while they flip the room for the reception. We also did food through McHales, and it was FANTASTIC! All my guests were accommodated for and the buffet was set up in a way that made getting a plate a breeze. My event planner was Tessie and she was amazing. During the planning, she was able to help put me at ease with her expertise. She always responded back promptly to any issue, question, or concern I had. For the rehearsal and day of needs, Aaron was my go to. He was very supportive and helped with any questions or needs we had. I would absolutely recommend the Grand for anyone who is planning their wedding!

We recently had our wedding at the Grand and everything was absolutely perfect!! Everyone was so helpful throughout the whole process, especially our event planner Tessie! She walked us through every detail and helped us ensure everything was taken care of. On the day of, everything went perfectly and the room looked beautiful!

My daughter had her wedding at McHale's Grand Ballroom in Covington. The wedding was absolutely perfect. The hall is beautiful, the food was delicious and staff at The Grand couldn't have been better. My husband commented that McHales must be pretty confident when they served filet mignon with a butter knife. The butter knife was appropriate, it was tender and delicious. Aaron the banquet manager took care of every detail and was delightful to work with. I can't thank McHales enough, it was a perfect evening.

I was SO impressed and thrilled with our wedding reception at The Grand! McHales is amazing - Lindsay was our event manager and she was fantastic! So quick to respond to any questions and always helpful with any special needs we had. She was professional and helped us make sure all of the details were taken care of. The day of staff was AMAZING, they were so attentive and made sure that all of our needs were being met the entire evening! Shoutout to the banquet managers - simply stated they were second to none! There wasn’t one thing I was worried about all evening upon arriving at McHales because they were so on it! Also, the food was fantastic!!! All of our guests were commenting on how delicious the food was!! Lisa did our cake and it was beautiful and SO GOOD! I would definitely recommend McHales to anyone!

The Grande was absolutely amazing to work with. In the midst of the pandemic, they went above and beyond to make sure our wedding went on flawlessly. I cannot recommend them enough!!!

While planning a wedding during a pandemic is not ideal, the entire McHales staff helped us greatly to pull off the perfect, safe but fun event! When reflecting on our wedding night there was not a detail missed. One thing that stuck out to me the most was how delicious the food was! We had the steak and tilapia, it was amazing and I am a pretty picky eater. Everyone had such a good time and the venue looks beautiful in person and in photos. The fact that they set up and break down the wedding for you is truly priceless! Hurry and book with McHales because it is a steal!! I would recommend booking them to anyone getting married in the greater Cinci area :)

The Grand was absolutely wonderful in every way for my daughter’s wedding and reception! The ballroom was gorgeous, the food wowed the guests and most of all the staff was exceptional. Everyone went out of their way to make this wedding very special. We were treated like royalty and felt very pampered throughout the planning, preparation and the day of the event. You simply can do no better than this beautiful venue. Our families and friends raved about it. The Grand Ballroom was gorgeous and perfect to have our ceremony and reception all in one spot. Their staff was super professional and answered every question. They went above and beyond to make our day perfect and run smoothly. They really made me feel calm so I didn't stress over anything.

My daughter's reception at the Grand Ballroom was perfect. Working with Jen Shorten was fantastic with details decided and all went well. Many guests commented on how good the food was, and I agree. The service and set up were excellent, and the ability to return Tuesday after the wedding to pick things up made the experience that much better. The room is beautiful!

I've said it a million times and I'll say it again... we loved the Grand Ballroom! The venue was so beautiful. The staff are incredibly accommodating and communication with them was a breeze. The prices are incredibly reasonable and you won't be surprised by any add-on fees (because most of what you need is already included... ie. tables, linens, table numbers, even table mirrors to go under your centerpieces if you want them!). So far my mom's side of the family has had THREE weddings at the Grand Ballroom... it's an incredible venue that I'll forever tell everyone about.

Absolutely the best Wedding venue imaginable! For starters the facility is amazing. Absolutely beautiful and incredibly maintained. Like something from a movie. Then there's Jeremy and the staff. If ten stars was an option I'd give them all ten. Perfect from start to finish. Excellent to work with for planning ahead of time and 150% professional and courteous throughout the duration. Everything was perfect! I could write a novel here with all of the good things that happened and still not justify it. I cannot recommend The Grand Banquet Hall enough!

The Grand Ballroom was perfect for our ceremony and wedding. The staff was amazing and our guests were very pleased with everything. I was nervous about all of the decorations I had, but the staff was so awesome and set everything up just how I wanted it. I worked with Jeremy and Jen the most and they were both super helpful and on top of it. The staff was so quick to turn the venue around from the ceremony to the reception and everything went so smoothly. Highly recommend the venue, catering, and staff.

McHale's Grand Ballroom was AMAZING! When looking for wedding reception venues, my husband and I wanted someplace affordable, with a big dance floor, windows, and with catering included - The Grand marked all of those boxes and then many more. We worked with Jen from start to finish, and she was so incredibly helpful - she was always available to answer my many questions - and she made the process seamless and also fun for us. They took care of everything - set-up, tear-down, catering the cocktail hour and dinner, manning the bars, even setting up our decorations. The place looked absolutely gorgeous. My parents, my husband's parents, and my bridal party never once had to go to the buffet line or to the bar - someone was always taking care of us - we felt like royalty! The food was delicious!! We found that having the 5th hour included was rare, but SO nice! By the time you get through cocktail hour and speeches, you'll want that 5th hour to keep dancing with all of your closest family and friends! Having the cocktail hour upstairs added extra fun and elegance to the event - everyone loved mingling upstairs and it felt like two different locations and events! I can't say enough good things about our experience with The Grand, and I can't even imagine having our wedding anywhere else. The location, the staff (especially Jen and our night-of coordinators!), the venue, having everything included - it was all absolutely perfect and we couldn't be happier!

We LOVED the Grand Ballroom. Working with Jen couldn't have gone smoother. She always had us one step ahead of everything and was very accommodating to any and all of our needs! I never stressed! The "night of" staff were also amazing. For example, they took food out early to young kids who were about to melt down. My parents hardly ever had to go to the bar to get a refill. They checked in on my husband and I regularly without being overbearing. It was truly a night to remember! The space is big, but also intimate where I felt like everyone was together the whole night. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect wedding reception venue!

If you are looking for a venue in Northern Kentucky this is definitely the place! From the staff, the food, and the cake; everything about The Grand was amazing! Jen the event coordinator was on top of everything. She answered any questions that we had and always got back very quickly. She made the whole process of planning a reception stress free and so easy. The set up of our reception was done perfectly, and they made sure that us and our guests were always taken care of. Our guests are still raving about how great The Grand was!

We used The Grand for our Rehearsal Dinner, Wedding Ceremony, and Wedding Reception. Our experience couldn't have been any better! People still rave to me about the cake, the food, the service, etc. I can't tell you how many people told me that they've never seen a wedding go off so smoothly and that was all thanks to the McHale's team. I'm so grateful to Chuck, Kaitlyn, Jen, and Lisa for all of the work they put into making our wedding the most perfect of perfect days!

We had our wedding at The Grand and could not be happier with everything. First off, the space is absolutely beautiful. From the very start Jen was amazing. She is very knowledgable and helpful - she was very quick to respond to all of our emails. She also helped guide us when it came time to make decisions. And we love that she helped to coordinate with our vendors so that we didn't need to. We brought in a lot of our own decor, and loved that we didn't need to worry about setting up or breaking down. All that was required was that we drop it off with detailed instructions. The staff set everything up perfectly, and then they took it all down for us and packed it up. We had our ceremony here too and the staff was quick and efficient when it came time to change the room over for the reception. Jeremy and Kelsey definitely helped make all of this go smoothly from drop off all the way to pick up. The bar package was incredible. It was one of the reasons we ended up picking this venue. And the food was so delicious! I had a lot of friends comment on how good it was. And personally, I couldn't get enough of the vegetable rotini! The staff on the day of was wonderful. They were all smiles and were so kind! We were surprised and so happy with how attentive everyone was with the two of us, our parents, and our bridal party. We never had an empty glass and during dinner they made sure we had everything we needed. Jeremy even ran to the bar to get us drinks while we were down in the lobby (we had been taking photos outside) and our guests were moving from cocktail hour to reception.

I found The Grand through the Knot and this was one of the first places we toured and I immediately fell in love. The Ballroom is spacious enough for a larger wedding since it has the second floor, but also perfect for a smaller wedding. Jenn was so helpful and was always available to meet and quick at communicating. The food was great and the hall manager and staff were so efficient night of the wedding, we did not go without a drink in hand! If I could do it all over again I would chose them everytime!

The Grand was absolutely amazing - we were absolutely blown away by their amazing service. We worked with Jen from the start; she made us feel comfortable and confident. The staff takes care of every small detail that even I didn’t think of! Our reception was incredibly smooth, the food was delicious, and the space was beautiful. This was the perfect venue for us! It is such a beautiful space & all of the staff was amazing to work with. Not many venues offer such great all inclusive options. Jeremy was our banquet manager for the night and we have nothing but positive words for the way he and his staff treated both of us and all of our guests! They took care of everything for us which really helped to keep our day stress free. The food from McHale's is amazing! Our guests were raving about the delicious food and beautiful banquet hall. We had our ceremony and reception both in March 2018 at the Grand. Planning was fluid with minimal stress until the moment we walked out of the reception. The customer service was on par and the facilities were welcoming and clean. The wedding planners, Brent and Jenn, that we worked with were awesome! They were detailed, patient and professional. The banquet manager and staff were also professional and extremely friendly. As the couple, we didn't have to think about being thirsty or hungry with all the staff being 3 steps ahead. Several guests also complimented how great the staff was. Would definitely recommend the Grand and McHale's for those looking for larger event venues!

Leading up to our wedding, our wedding planner answered every email I sent in a timely manner. The week of, they made dropping things off super easy and listened to me explain where each little thing went. On the day, they executed everything to a 'T.' And during the reception, the servers were making sure we had everything we needed along with our parents. It gave us the chance to enjoy our wedding. I HIGHLY recommend them!

My husband and I have very large families, so our venue options were limited in the greater Cincinnati area in order to fit our entire guest count. If I had to do it all over again, small wedding or large wedding, I would choose The Grand every single time. We had so many family members and friends compliment the staff, food and the beautiful venue, they truly helped make it the best day of my life. Planning with Brent throughout our engagement was so easy, thorough and complete, that it lead to a very stress free wedding day. The fact that they do all of the set up for you, was a huge selling point for me, because as a bride you do not need one more thing to worry about day of or wedding weekend. Their customizable packages allow the day to be reasonably priced based on the individual couples budget while still maintaining that first class feel no matter the room or package you select. The Grand went above and beyond in accommodating myself, my husband and our guests. Everything from making sure that we always had a full drink in our hands, to helping me make my plate in the buffet line so I didn't spill on my dress, to giving us a to-go box to take back to the hotel of a complete dinner, because they know that the bride and groom never eat enough. I can not say enough great things about The Grand and will continue to recommend them to everyone!

Brent, Bobby, and the team at The Grand ballroom was absolutely amazing. Our wedding reception went off without any issues and everyone had a great time. The venue was beautiful and looked amazing the night of our reception. Brent made the planning process so easy for us and made us feel comfortable asking any questions and helping us with decisions based on what she had seen before. We had our reception at The Grand and it was my favorite vendor to work with. If you haven't seen it in person, you must because it is a beautiful venue. Brent assisted us throughout the planning process and made everything so easy and stress-free! She was always so calm, never pressured us or never rushed us. We had Bobby as our week of and night of coordinator and he went above and beyond to make everything perfect. The McHale's staff were very accommodating throughout the night. When the bridal party arrived and were waiting downstairs until our grand entrance, they brought us hors devours, took our drink order and brought us drinks. For dinner, we went with the 5-Star seated dinner -strawberry fields salad, filet, salmon, potato rosette, asparagus - AMAZING! It was so delicious and appetizing to look at that we received a lot of compliments. They also made delicious gluten free and vegetarian meals for those who needed it. I highly recommend having your reception at The Grand! All the details are perfect from the accommodating staff, a free parking garage across the street, champagne toast for the bridal party and parents tables, and set up and tear down of decor included.

I cannot say enough about how wonderful The Grand is. As soon as we walked into the space, we knew it would be the perfect venue for our reception. What we didn't know was how amazing the entire staff would be throughout the planning process and on the wedding day itself. Brent was incredible, going above and beyond to make our day perfect. The day before the wedding, she even took home our DVD slideshow that wasn't working burned a new copy for us. Bobby and Kelsie were wonderful with set up and we kept getting compliments from our guests about how superb the entire staff was at reception. The food was delicious as well. If you are looking for a venue with an elegant ambiance, a stress-free planning process, excellent staff, and amazing food, The Grand Ballroom is for you!

The staff were so attentive and helpful during the entire planning process and the night of our wedding. We enjoyed every second we worked with them! Brent, our planner, was wonderful and worked hard to add specific details I wanted into our reception.

This is a beautiful venue, reasonably priced, and with excellent service. We worked with Brent as wedding coordinator, and she thought of everything. The only tiny drawback was the food, but it was otherwise so lovely and well planned that I couldn't cut it by a whole star. We chose the 4 star plated dinner, and everything was good except for the meat, which was dry.

Best venue! Brent, Bobby, Jason, and the entire staff were great to work with. Brent was extremely responsive and answered all my questions during the planning process. Bobby and Jason executed my vision perfectly without me having to lift a finger decorating the room. The entire staff was friendly and professional.

Absolutely wonderful! Eric and I had our wedding reception at The Grand, May 2015. EVERYONE on staff was incredible and easy to work with, as well as, extremely attentive. My husband and I live out of state, so I was initially nervous about planning a wedding so far away. The staff at The Grand could not have been more accommodating. Our best friend and groomsman is also a pastry chef, so he created our wedding cake. Well, he too does not live in KY, so the staff at The Grand made sure there was room in the walk-in freezer for Andy's cake and allowed him to drop it off a few days prior to the wedding. ...this is just ONE example of how accommodating everyone was. On the day of our wedding, Eric and I were treated like royalty. We may have been seated in our places for oh, about 5 SECONDS, when Bobby came to greet us with a "Congratulations!" and served us our first drinks. My husband turned to me and said "Wow! Impressive service!" Not to mention the multiple complements from our guests on how beautiful the venue is, the delicious food (and you know it is hard to please guests on the food front), and the attentive staff. I will definitely recommend this venue for your wedding reception.

McHales was outstanding! We have no complaints at all. The staff was so friendly and on top of things. We had a ton of guests come up to us and say the staff was so good. The food was excellent. The price is very reasonable! And the best thing about McHales is that so much is included. Things that you never would have thought of that make the world of a difference (coffee, champagne toast, making sure the bride/groom have everything brought to them). Just unbelievable company to do business with!

Every single person who attended our wedding has raved about our wedding food and cake! Every staff member was professional, helpful and exceeded our expectations. The staff catered to our (me and my husband) every need. They anticipated every move we made. They had drink refills for us before we even finished our current drink. And they packed us full meals at the end of the night, knowing we would need to eat. They exceeded every expectation we had! I would recommend them to anyone! You will not be disappointed!

AMAZING!! I had been to a friend's wedding at another McHale's sight and loved the food. My husband & I looked at 8 different vendors before selecting The Grand. Brent was great!! They made everything so easy, put together our centerpieces, and made sure the entire bridal party didn't need anything all night. Wonderful service, very professional, and well priced. We loved the passed appetizers!! HIGHLY RECOMMEND if you want a low stress experience & complements from your guests!!

Overall great food and great service! I do think the price was a little high and I had the off season package! And everything you wanted to add cost so much extra. But other than that the food was delicious and the people were super nice!

The staff at McHale's, specifically The Grand, where we held our ceremony and reception was absolutely outstanding. They literally went above and beyond to accommodate our guests in every which way. It was a tad more expensive than we were hoping since we paid for the wedding ourselves, but WOW, you get what you pay for, and I have no regrets! The venue itself is gorgeous and in no way "cookie cutter." If you're looking for a very classic, elegant place for your wedding, seriously look no further. You'll know it when you walk through the doors!
