We could not have asked for a better wedding venue! From the very beginning, our experience was absolutely amazing. Tessie was incredible to work with throughout the entire planning process. She was so helpful, responsive, and made everything feel easy and stress-free. We always felt completely taken care of and knew we were in good hands. On our wedding day, Erin and Lauren were absolutely amazing! They were right there whenever we needed anything and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They are genuinely some of the nicest and most helpful people we have ever met, and having them there on our wedding day made such a difference. One thing that really stood out to us was how seriously the venue took allergy accommodations. They were incredibly understanding, attentive, and accommodating when it came to our guests with allergies. It gave us such peace of mind knowing that our guests were being taken care of and could enjoy the celebration without having to worry. We have nothing but amazing things to say about how they handled it! We absolutely loved the Grand and McHale’s from start to finish. Everything was so easy, organized, and honestly just perfect. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed it would be, and we are so grateful to the entire team for helping make it so special. It never felt like we were “just another wedding” to this crew!!

loved the blue walls, balcony, and high ceilings! When I got engaged, I was pretty set that that’s where I wanted my reception, and after meeting Tessie, I was so excited to work with her! She’s super organized, thorough and extremely kind and friendly! My now husband and I were doing a choreographed first dance and she let us stop by a few times to practice which was super helpful! But overall from a staffing perspective, everyone was super friendly and did a great job! It’s definitely a well oiled machine! Also, the food was great! I’ll admit, the actual dinner day of was better than the tasting, so just keep that in mind. At the end of everything, I’ve had so many guests say it was the best or most fun wedding they’ve ever been to, and I know that the way the staff and Tessie at the Grand were so helpful in making sure things were organized and on track played a huge part in that because my parents and I could just enjoy the day and not worry about all the little details because they had it covered. I definitely recommend the Grand if you want a beautiful and EASY to work with venue.

From the first inquiry phone call to the very end of the planning process, Tessie walked us throughout it all in detail, was so kind, detail-oriented, attentive, organized, and answered all of our questions. The entire staff on wedding day was so incredible and genuinely sharing their happiness for our celebration, and the chef accommodated adding some of my heritage into the buffet menu (Lebanese!) which turned out so delicious. She was easy to schedule meetings with and showed us all of the materials and supplies that the venue already had, so we knew what to buy and what to borrow. On the day of, we and our families were amazed at how attentive all the staff was. Erin was so friendly and effective as the manager for us. The staff was able to re-fill drinks quickly and answer any questions. The Grand did a great job accommodating food allergies. We are so appreciative of everything that the Grand did for us. We would recommend The Grand to anyone who is thinking of having a wonderful wedding reception or any event in general. They are the absolute best!

The staff truly set this venue apart. They were exceptionally friendly, professional, and went above and beyond to ensure everything ran smoothly. Their hard work and attention to detail made all the difference, and it was clear they were genuinely invested in making our wedding day perfect.
The food was nothing short of outstanding. Every dish was beautifully prepared, delicious, and enjoyed by all of our guests. We received so many compliments on the quality and flavor of the meals!
One of the standout aspects of working with McHales, specifically Tessie, was their over-communication leading up to the wedding. All my guests were accommodated for and the buffet was set up in a way that made getting a plate a breeze. My event planner was Tessie and she was amazing. During the planning, she was able to help put me at ease with her expertise. She always responded back promptly to any issue, question, or concern I had. For the rehearsal and day of needs, Aaron was my go to. He was very supportive and helped with any questions or needs we had. Everyone had such a good time and the venue looks beautiful in person and in photos. The fact that they set up and break down the wedding for you is truly priceless! The prices are incredibly reasonable and you won't be surprised by any add-on fees (because most of what you need is already included... ie. tables, linens, table numbers, even table mirrors to go under your centerpieces if you want them!). So far my mom's side of the family has had THREE weddings at the Grand Ballroom... it's an incredible venue that I'll forever tell everyone about.

They took care of everything - set-up, tear-down, catering the cocktail hour and dinner, manning the bars, even setting up our decorations. The place looked absolutely gorgeous. My parents, my husband's parents, and my bridal party never once had to go to the buffet line or to the bar - someone was always taking care of us - we felt like royalty! The food was delicious!! We found that having the 5th hour included was rare, but SO nice! By the time you get through cocktail hour and speeches, you'll want that 5th hour to keep dancing with all of your closest family and friends! Having the cocktail hour upstairs added extra fun and elegance to the event - everyone loved mingling upstairs and it felt like two different locations and events! I can't say enough good things about our experience with The Grand, and I can't even imagine having our wedding anywhere else. The location, the staff (especially Jen and our night-of coordinators!), the venue, having everything included - it was all absolutely perfect and we couldn't be happier!

never stressed! The "night of" staff were also amazing. For example, they took food out early to young kids who were about to melt down. My parents hardly ever had to go to the bar to get a refill. They checked in on my husband and I regularly without being overbearing. It was truly a night to remember! The space is big, but also intimate where I felt like everyone was together the whole night. I would highly recommend to anyone looking for the perfect wedding reception venue!

rdinator was on top of everything. She answered any questions that we had and always got back very quickly. She made the whole process of planning a reception stress free and so easy. The set up of our reception was done perfectly, and they made sure that us and our guests were always taken care of. Our guests are still raving about how great The Grand was!
