uld have made. They really aren’t kidding when they say, “The only thing we overlook is the Hudson.” They managed nearly EVERYTHING! The only thing you really have to do is choose your catering menu—they also give you options to choose the color of napkins and the style of your menu. You can also select the color for your overhead lighting. I did all my own décor, but really you don’t need that much, as I found the space is so elegant in and of itself. The only thing you need to worry about at The Grandview is your décor and your DJ, everything else is pretty much taken care of. Abigail Heilman was our sales representative, and boy oh boy, was she fantastic! She was very attentive anytime I emailed her with a question or gave her a call. And to think, she was also planning her own wedding which took place only a short time before mine! She is very amiable, professional, attentive and detail oriented. We booked The Grand Ballroom and got married in the outdoor space. A very wise decision. We lucked out with great weather and a beautiful sunset. After the ceremony, the guests were able to go right into the adjoining cocktail space which had access to the outdoor patio and picture windows. This made for a magical experience, as everyone was able to gather together and enjoy the sunset. I loved watching all my guests enjoy themselves on the patio. Now, let’s talk about the “day of” wedding attendant and maître’ d, Jenna and Thomas. They were outstanding! So attentive, professional and experienced. All my nerves vanished once I saw that Thomas and Jenna were on their absolute A+ game. They seem like seasoned professionals at the top of their game the entire night. Truly brilliant. It’s been months now since our wedding and our guests are still raving about how much they loved it all—the breathtaking views, the food, the service. Believe it or not, one of my friends said it was one of the best steaks she’s ever had! How’s that for “wedding food!” Everyone raved about the cocktail selections we chose and how delicious it all was. We actually attended our cocktail hour and they set up a high boy table for us with a selection of everything—that was one my favorite things- being with all our guests at the cocktail hour. Of course we were too busy socializing to really eat, but The Grandview packed it all up and sent us off with a doggie bag we enjoyed the next day—delicious! My only complaint is that I can’t get married again! If I had my way, I’d get married each year at The Grandview, that’s how much I loved the experience—both the planning of it all (so easy, breezy, low stress), and the actual day itself. Thank you, Grandview, for facilitating a day I will remember with complete fondness and joy!
