We felt like we didn’t need to worry about anything because of how on top of it The Grandview was.

The staff was fantastic from start to finish and always made sure our guests, my wife, and I had everything we needed. The food was excellent, the ballroom was beautiful, and the views of the river and bridge made for some incredible photos. The patio area was also a huge hit with our guests. A special shoutout to the maître d', who was on top of everything all night and made sure the day ran smoothly. We couldn't have asked for a better venue for our wedding. Highly recommend The Grandview to anyone looking for a beautiful place with great food, amazing views, and an awesome staff.

I must give special recognition to the wedding attendant, Tracey, who was truly exceptional. Her warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail made all the difference. She anticipated our needs before they were even spoken, guided our family with grace, and treated everyone in the wedding party with such kindness and respect. Knowing that everything was in such capable hands allowed me to be fully present as a mother, watching my son step into the next chapter of his life with joy and confidence. This day was emotional, beautiful, and flawlessly executed (even though it rained). I left not only incredibly happy for my son and new daughter-in-law, but deeply grateful for the care and excellence shown throughout the entire experience. uld have made. They really aren’t kidding when they say, “The only thing we overlook is the Hudson.” They managed nearly EVERYTHING! The only thing you really have to do is choose your catering menu—they also give you options to choose the color of napkins and the style of your menu. You can also select the color for your overhead lighting. I did all my own décor, but really you don’t need that much, as I found the space is so elegant in and of itself. The only thing you need to worry about at The Grandview is your décor and your DJ, everything else is pretty much taken care of. Abigail Heilman was our sales representative, and boy oh boy, was she fantastic! She was very attentive anytime I emailed her with a question or gave her a call. And to think, she was also planning her own wedding which took place only a short time before mine! She is very amiable, professional, attentive and detail oriented. We booked The Grand Ballroom and got married in the outdoor space. A very wise decision. We lucked out with great weather and a beautiful sunset. After the ceremony, the guests were able to go right into the adjoining cocktail space which had access to the outdoor patio and picture windows. This made for a magical experience, as everyone was able to gather together and enjoy the sunset. I loved watching all my guests enjoy themselves on the patio. Now, let’s talk about the “day of” wedding attendant and maître’ d, Jenna and Thomas. They were outstanding! So attentive, professional and experienced. All my nerves vanished once I saw that Thomas and Jenna were on their absolute A+ game. They seem like seasoned professionals at the top of their game the entire night. Truly brilliant. It’s been months now since our wedding and our guests are still raving about how much they loved it all—the breathtaking views, the food, the service. Believe it or not, one of my friends said it was one of the best steaks she’s ever had! How’s that for “wedding food!” Everyone raved about the cocktail selections we chose and how delicious it all was. We actually attended our cocktail hour and they set up a high boy table for us with a selection of everything—that was one my favorite things- being with all our guests at the cocktail hour. Of course we were too busy socializing to really eat, but The Grandview packed it all up and sent us off with a doggie bag we enjoyed the next day—delicious! My only complaint is that I can’t get married again! If I had my way, I’d get married each year at The Grandview, that’s how much I loved the experience—both the planning of it all (so easy, breezy, low stress), and the actual day itself. Thank you, Grandview, for facilitating a day I will remember with complete fondness and joy!

was truly breathtaking. The ceremony space was absolutely picturesque, and exchanging our vows during golden hour made the moment feel magical and unforgettable. Our lead salesperson, Emily, was an absolute dream to work with. She was attentive, organized, and genuinely cared about making our vision come to life. During the tasting, she went above and beyond to ensure there were plenty of options that accommodated my many dietary restrictions. She even introduced us to hors d’oeuvres we hadn’t originally considered—and they were so incredible that we ended up choosing them for our menu! Emily took such great care of our décor items and the team executed everything beautifully. One of the biggest advantages of choosing The Grandview is the ease and peace of mind it provides. They are true experts and made our entire day feel seamless. Not having to worry about parking, handicap accessibility, or the countless logistics that come with wedding planning allowed us to truly enjoy every moment. We also want to give a special thank-you to Terry, our attendant for the day, who made sure we were well taken care of and helped everything run smoothly. If you’re looking for a stunning venue with an experienced, caring team, The Grandview is truly exceptional. 

oth. She was even able to suggest an alternative to a musician we had back out last minute and they were better than I could have imagined. We are still hearing compliments about our wedding, from the space to the food. One compliment in particular guests were raving about was the flow of the night. So many people commented on how well the timing of cocktail hour into reception was paced, which is such a testament to the entire team at the Grandview. I toured a few other local venues and nothing even came close to the feeling I got when I walked into the ballroom at the Grandview. For our lager weddding (around 200) the space was absolutely perfect and fit everyone so comfortably. I would suggest the Grandview if even a small part of you is considering having your wedding here!

From day one, Abby answered every question we had (and there were a lot!) with patience, knowledge, and kindness. She was absolutely incredible to work with, and we also had wonderful support from Emily along the way. They both provided so many helpful tips and tricks that ultimately made our wedding day run incredibly smoothly and stress-free. 

We did a tasting a few months before the wedding, which was such a great experience and really helped us finalize our menu with confidence. Our guests are still raving about the cocktail hour and dinner. We added a few upgrades, fresh mozzarella, shucked oysters, and an upgraded beef option, and every single one was worth it. The food was outstanding, and our signature cocktails were executed perfectly, exactly as we envisioned.

We also rented the cottage to get ready in, and it was the perfect space for our bridal party—comfortable, spacious, and such a great way to start the day. On the wedding day itself, the team at The Grandview helped coordinate seamlessly with all of our vendors, allowing us to truly relax and enjoy every moment. They made the entire day feel effortless.

If you’re considering The Grandview, you can feel completely confident knowing you’ll be in amazing hands. Abby, Emily, and the entire team went above and beyond, and we couldn’t have imagined a better wedding experience.

to day of the wedding. There were never any issues and we always had great communication with everyone involved. The food and drinks were also amazing! It was raining the morning of our wedding and we were hoping for it to stop in time for the ceremony so we could have it outside and they didn’t push us into making the decision to do inside vs outside too soon. Luckily it stopped raining just in time for the ceremony and we were able to have it outside! We cannot say anything bad about The Grandview. It was truly such an amazing experience and I wish we could do it all over again! Our guests still tell us how great it was!

you can truly trust with your most important day. My husband and I spent over a year working with Emily on every detail that made our wedding unforgettable. Her guidance and support helped create a day where the staff catered to us literally hand and foot. After photos, two attendants assigned to me dropped to their hands and knees to clean dirt from my dress—and later did the same to fix my bustle when it broke. I never asked for them to do that; they simply took care of it. The food was outstanding, with portions far more generous than what you typically find at catered weddings. Our guests are still talking about how amazing everything tasted. If you’re looking for a venue you can rely on completely, The Grandview is it. You won’t regret choosing them.

They didn’t seem to know very much of everything we went through with other staff ahead of time. One stepped on my dress when she was helping as we walked down to the water. The other was just witnessed in most of my family photos in front of the sweetheart table. Lastly, they were not specific with where we were allowed to take pictures. We had an indoor wedding and could not get pictures in the garden area because there was an outdoor wedding. This was not clarified ahead of time.

The views are beyond breathtaking, and the indoor ballroom flows so beautifully from cocktail hour to reception. We loved how many unique and desirable things are included in the package, from the champagne welcome wall, to candles, to amazing (and huge) selection for cocktail hour, to wine bottles on every dinner table -- plus so many more I can't even remember. The cocktail hour is showstopping, but the dinner is equally delicious and memorable. To top it off, the cake is delicious! We couldn't have been any happier with our choice to celebrate our special day at The Grandview.

He did an incredible job coordinating with our vendors to ensure everything turned out exactly as we imagined. Even when guests went up to him with requests he made sure to clear it with my husband and I first. Our Wedding attendant Sarita was so so so sweet! She fluffed my train, ensured my veil was put on perfectly, brought my husband and I an assortment of our cocktail hour hors d'oeuvres in our bridal sweet to enjoy, and made sure our glasses were never empty. At some point amongst the millions of hugs/kisses from family and friends I got a red stain on my wedding dress. She came over with a tide stick, detergent and hot water and got the stain out for me. My husband and I truly felt spoiled and blessed by the care we received from all of the staff at the Grandview. Last, but not least importantly THE FOOD was incredible. My husband and I were stuffed at the end of the night everything was so incredibly delicious! I could go on and on for hours singing my praises to the Grandview. Jon and I would choose the Grandview over and over again.

ini date night. They truly specialize in putting couples first while still seamlessly making sure family members and anyone else in your event are taken care of and accounted for. They have an entire team of courteous, professional attendants and being that weddings are their "showstopper", there is truly no detail that they have not planned for or have space for. All you need to do is stick to the timeline they lay out for you, take deep breaths, and know you're in good hands. Brides, on the big day, you have your own bridal attendant. I know what you're thinking - what really is a bridal attendant and do I really need one? Probably not. But if you're like me and have been planning an enormous wedding for 1.5 years, you're not thinking of the simple pleasures like a bridal attendant. And let me tell you, on that day, after about 15 minutes of meeting my attendant, Sarita, I was absolutely stunned. We took pictures in the outer pavilion, in slightly wet grass from the morning dew. Before I knew it, Sarita swooped me back, put me in a swivel chair and fed me hor d'oeuvres while taking steaming hot water to get out each and every dirt stain with a quickness!! Right before I got into our limo, my MOH noticed that one of the threads from my sleeve was starting to pull. Sarita pulled out a sewing kit from one of her pockets truly like a ninja and started sewing away. She was like my fairy godmother ALL NIGHT LONG and let me tell you -- she didn't know it and I hadn't planned for it but the night before, my body had quite literally almost crashed from stress and exhaustion and having Sarita take care of me and my girls was such an absolute necessity I didn't know I needed. I say all of this to say this: This was our first and last venue we toured. Why? Because we knew from that first meeting that this place had it all. And for especially big parties and families, there is truly nothing "grander" than the Grandview. Special shout out to Ashley & Emily for many, many collective deep breaths, laughs and for taking care of us always. Cheers, Sean and Becca

They were super accommodating with any requests that we had (such as an odd signature cocktail in memory of my husband's late father). The space is also stunning! Every staff member we interacted with was friendly and professional, they truly made our wedding the best experience. Last but not least, the food and drinks! Most people complain wedding food is meh and drinks are watered down, but that was not the case at the Grandview! Everyone raved to us about how great the food and drinks were! I also loved the Grandview had so many different packages to fit any couple's needs. It was important to me to know how much this was going to cost upfront and the Grandview made that so easy. If you want a wedding in the Hudson Valley, the Grandview is the best spot!

re, the staff there were nothing but kind, experienced and eager to make our dreams come true. We worked mainly with Abby who was a SAINT and helped guide us through everything! We booked about 18 months before our big day and Abby made sure to send check ins and reminders to keep us on track and make sure everything went smoothly. On the day of our wedding, we had some on and off rain so we weren't sure if we would have the ceremony outdoors or not. Abby and our wedding attendant Imani were so flexible and reassuring, helping us to make last minute changes and ensure that we still had a gorgeous ceremony and our guests were having a great time! Every single item of food that we had was delicious and it's one of the main things our guests still complement us on and remember the most! Overall we couldn't be happier that we were able to celebrate our wedding at The Grandview and I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for an amazing all-in experience!!
