The Grecian Center

the venue was very nice and the rug colors were not so bad (I prefer wood floors). We reserved the Grecian for our wedding and began preparing for our wedding. Throughout the process, Charity was friendly, responsive and accommodating. The food is delicious and the deserts are even better! The way this venue gives you everything in the price (DJ, photobooth, monogram, clouds, fireworks, backdrops, head table fancy draping, back drops, linen, etc.,) is amazing. It's like, why would you pay more for these things.. I could go on and on about this place. I suggest you go in and check it out.

to the wait staff. Everyone bent over backwards to ensure we had a wonderful event! And the food!!!! Fantastic!!! Our guests raved both about the food as well as the wait staff serving everyone. Don't believe the negative reviews - some people are never happy! - this place is A-1 as far as we are concerned. Would definitely book there again!!

rovided a coordinator who assisted us with rehearsal and the wedding day coordination. Well the coordinator that was provided who assist us with the wedding appeared more nervous than the Bride and Groom. Our wedding ceremony was 45 minutes late (due to wardrobe malfunctions) which appeared to completely confuse the coordinator like that was the first late wedding that she had participated in. Once I arrived to the venue, I was kept in waiting for 30 minutes while the coordinator was out in the park area doing who knows what. She appeared frustrated when she came to take me to the park area. Once the ceremony was over and the wedding party left the area. The guest were left sitting with not a clue in which direction to go for the reception. Finally the mother of the groom requested that someone direct the guest and an announcement was made to go to the reception hall for cocktail hour. While the Bride and Groom and wedding party were taking photos, the manager came over to announce that we only had 10 minutes to take photos because our wedding was so late and dinner could not be delayed more than 30 minutes without incurring additional charges. So needless to say we were not able to capture all of the photos that we wanted. We took a few photos and proceeded to the reception hall, at that point the coordinator congratulated us and excused herself for the night. There was no one left to keep us on task with the cutting of the cake, the first dance, bouquet toss or the garter toss. If we would have known that the coordinator was ONLY for the ceremony, we would have had our own day-of-coordinator. To add insult to injury at the end of the evening our leftover cake slices were wrapped in napkins and placed on the table in the lobby! 1 week after our wedding,while on Facebook, I see all of the lovely post on upcoming weddings, weddings that had just occurred at the Grecian center and pictures of couples that had just contracted The Grecian center for their future weddings. At no time were me and my Groom ever asked to pose for any pictures as we signed our initial contract or final contract. There was never a posting congratulating us or thanking us for choosing The Grecian Center. Here we are 2 weeks later and still haven't had anyone from the venue follow-up with us about our special day! There was a lot of money spent at this facility, this was the venue that I always knew would be the site for my wedding and I was sorely disappointed.

t they had a covered pavilion just in case it rained. The wedding coordinator, Adrianna was fabulous. She helped ensure everyone felt comfortable at the rehearsal and was there on her wedding day to ensure everything ran smoothly. It was absolutely beautiful and every photo my guests took on the grounds came out beautifully. I was a little hesitant about Chelsea (she took over when Eileen left) because I loved Eileen so much but she took over flawlessly and helped make our wedding a success. Everything was beautiful and all the details we discussed were executed perfectly. My centerpieces were put out by them and they looked great! The dessert bar looked and tasted amazing (as did the food) and our guests really enjoyed the late night pizza. The staff was all friendly (except for one bartender wasn’t to my guests but there’s always that one). I received so many compliments on my wedding venue choice! I would definitely recommend the Grecian Center.

eous it all was. Our reception was in the Parthenon room and it was beautiful. Eileen, Cheryl and Gigi made the process so easy, and were so helpful. It was wonderful to show up and have everything ready to go. The food and service was wonderful, the flambé of the beef was a showstopper. The bar was great, everything was perfect. I would highly recommend that anyone in the area who is looking for a wedding and reception venue check out The Grecian Center. Keep in mind that if you want to use the park and one of the reception rooms together, plan early it books up, but it is totally worth it!

for our guests with special dietary requests (for allergies or vegan meals). Because they had no event the day before, we were allowed to come in early to set up the decorations. However, the staff had mentioned that they would have been able to do it for us if we hadn't been able to. Gigi was our day-of coordinator, and she helped to keep everything running smoothly. Everyone was wonderful, and we can't recommend this place enough.

the food. The ceremony locations available are all stunning. But we chose to get married in the Pavillion. Which couldn't have went better. BUT WAIT THERES MORE! The total cost of our wedding was $5000 less than anywhere else in the area.

impressive. We felt rushed and sometimes couldn't find anyone to help us! No one took the flowers to the groomsmen before our first look, so we were going to take them ourselves- no big deal. Then Barb came up on her golf cart and grabbed them out of our hands and tried to take them back inside. We said we needed them and she got annoyed with us. She threw the box of flowers onto the cart, to the point where the flowers were falling out and then she zoomed off. Right before the first look, she almost drove me right past the groom! We had to yell at her to stop the cart because we were doing the first look at the gazebo and she said, "Fine. Do it how you want!" Um yes, it's MY wedding. I will, thank you! Overall, it was a wonderful day and I enjoyed having it there but some of the staff could work on their people skills.

ng ceremony back in March 2015. We finalized exactly what we wanted (pillars, ceremony stage set up, X amount of chairs, "bouquet" table, etc) in March of 2016. The day of our rehearsal, the ceremony coordinator was late. When she arrived, she didn't have any documentation or information about our wedding. As we were explaining what we wanted she tried to change our ceremony multiple times. She insisted that we needed a podium when we didn't want one. She kept repeating that my mother would be "giving me away" when my grandfather AND mother were giving me away. She had my grandfather convinced he was no longer walking me down the aisle. She talked in circles until my Minister forcefully took over so we can get things going. Eventually, we got everything set and in order for our big day. On our wedding day, (2 days later) NOTHING that was discussed was set up. The easel was missing and the coordinator made one of the groomsmen go get it. The middle section of the main pillars was missing, the bouquet table was not set up, she was stating that my husband and I needed to hold a microphone while reciting our vows. The aisle runner was dirty and a groomsman and photographer had to actually SWEEP the aisle. Really? My husband and groomsmen had to scramble to get everything changed to how it was suppose to be. Unfortunately, this is not the stress anyone needed on our wedding day. The coordinator seems to mean well, but she really makes the whole process more stressful than it needs to be.

led..) They "sold" our rehearsal time to another couple after we already scheduled everything, including dinner, for it. I felt like Eileen talked down to us each time we talked to her. That may just be her personality, but I didn't think it was very friendly. But at other times, she was fine. We requested a lot of different things be done for our reception, and gave specific details of what we wanted and how we wanted it done. But somehow on the night of the wedding, hardly any of it was done according to our requests. We did rent the park for the ceremony, which was beautiful. However, we paid for 220 chairs to be set up, and the grecian center employees only set up about 175, so my groom and groomsmen were scrambling trying to set up more chairs while guests were standing there waiting. Otherwise, the park was great and we got tons of compliments on how nice it was. All in all, although some of the reception details were screwed up, I still married my best friend and we were surrounded by our loved ones so these things seem so small now. Just be forewarned what you are getting.

. They make all their own food (which is AMAZING) from scratch and also provide their own linens which made it much easier for me. We heard nothing but amazing reviews from our guests about the food. We highly recommend the roasted chicken and the pasts primevera. In comparison to other venues we looked at in the area they were more than reasonably priced and give a significant discount if you choose to get married on a Friday like we did. Eileen, the onsite coordinator was amazing and incredibly helpful and was truly concerned with making my day special. She was amazing as was the staff the night of. The space is beautiful and we felt like we got more than what we paid for.

the evening. The hall looked great and the prices were really decent, we had over 200 people there. My only slight issue is sometimes they were hard to get a hold of, and there were times when you did get them that they just seemed scattered or in a rush, but overall everything was perfect :)

e coordinator, chef, manager, EVERYONE. When I found out less than an hour before the reception, I was very upset. I had ordered less cake because I thought I was getting the desserts and pastries. We were reimbursed, but I was still a little disappointed. Other than that, I was very happy with the service and food and thought everything turned out beautiful in the hall. We also had our ceremony outdoors at The Grecian Center and were very happy with that. The grounds were beautiful and I think our photographer was able to get some really good shots. If I had it to do over again, I would still have our wedding ceremony and reception at The Grecian Center again. I have no regrets.

We had such a wonderful time. The food was out of this world. My family and friends are still talking about the red skinned potatoes and the baked chicken! They are also very affordable especially for the quality of service that you get nobody can come close!

er on we were told we had a balance when we hadn't added anything on. We were told the water in the pond would be dyed blue to make for better pictures on our wedding day, but it was not. The food was amazing. Everyone kept talking about how great the food was.

the Bride and Bridesmaid hide had air conditioning and it does not. We were sweating terribly and it was 95 degrees that day. We also had our reception at the Grecian which was nice and air conditioned inside. The service was okay. They served our parents table there food last.And they have you cut your cake immediatly after you are introduced inside, so no one saw our cake. They also kicked us out of the reception early and started ripping down chair covers and tablecloths while our guests were still there.

Eileen. The day of the wedding, I had gone to the reception to check things out and they had not put enough tables out. I talked with them about it and they got right on it taking full blame and responsibility apologizing. Everyone was absolutely wonderful and I would recommend this venue to anyone.

ect.;The outdoor pond/fountain smells like sulfur. They try to control it on your big day but it still stinks a little bit.
