What can I say, everything turned out wonderful. I had the most beautiful experience. I had so fun that we left pieces of our Wedding cake! Lol if I could do it again I will. Ricky and I are ever so grateful 💕

I can’t say enough great things about The Grove. I, like many, had to push my wedding back because of Covid and Thom made that process so easy. He was very communicative the whole time (sometimes even answering my late night questions right after I sent them!) Karen was also great for setting up and helping out the day of. Our wedding may have been delayed, but it was still amazing and The Grove had a lot to do with that.

The Grove Event Center is a hidden gem! When we were looking for a reception venue, we felt like we were being taken advantage of by every place due to high unrealistic prices. The Grove Event Center is a not for profit, which perked my interest because I have only worked for not for profit organizations. Because of that everything is realistically priced. They recently completed a renovation so it has a nice modern vibe with gray as the main color! I am huge into environment and the Grove has a nice inviting, warm, and simple environment. This reflects my husband and I! There is an outside space in which I had yard games set up and our 30+ children guests and adults guests loved having an outdoor space (it was a beautiful day). I am a rule follower and very organized so working with the Grove (Thom and Karen specifically) was very smooth because they communicated very clearly about due dates and payments. I knew what payments and paperwork was expected when. Karen was on site during our reception and she was awesome! She went over and above by making sure all the behind the scene things were taken care of. She really cared for my husband and I and our guests. If you want a nice, reasonable, and smooth running reception, I highly encourage you to choose the Grove Event Center.

Great reception venue. The Grove is completely updated and looks amazing. The staff works hard to make sure you have everything you need and that your night is special. Highly recommend.

We had the most amazing wedding day at the grove events center!! They booked us three weeks before our wedding and our night was absolutely perfect!! The space is newly renovated and GORGEOUS both inside and outside! Karen and Thom were so helpful and accommodating, especially with booking last minute. Thom is so fun and upbeat and every thorough. Karen was there the night of and ensured everything went smooth. Karen worked so well with my wedding planner and they made the space even more beautiful than I could imagine!! ❤️

I recently attended a community event at The Grove, and was amazed by the venue. The space was clean, organized, and the staff was exceptional. I spoke with Karen and she was incredibly knowledgeable and passionate about the space. She really knew her stuff! I left feeling confident that if I hosted my own event here, I would be well taken care of.

The Grove was the perfect place for my wedding reception! Thom and Karen stayed in contact with me from the moment I signed my contract all the way until the end of the event. If I had questions, I could email Thom and he would get back to me immediately...no matter how crazy the hour! The event space looked incredible! And they kept an eye on everything. When my card box hadn’t arrived yet, Karen went to the back and found a box that matched my theme and placed it on the table for us! I had no idea! The room was huge and the dance floor was incredible! My guests had so much room to move around and I felt like I could easily move around the room to visit with everyone! I would recommend The Grove to any Cincinnati couple!

The Grove of Springfield Township is easily the best value for a wedding reception in Cincinnati. You can make it as elegant as you want or as budget-friendly as you want. Thom and Karen are tremendous to work with. Most of our email exchanges with Thom were answered within the hour. The actual wedding day went perfectly, and everything we had planned went exactly as expected. We cannot recommend them enough. All of our wedding guests were incredibly pleased with the experience.

The price, people, and place was awesome. I will say that if you think the day before your wedding is going to get booked you might want to spend the extra money to reserve the day before. Luckily the day before our wedding wasn’t booked so we got to set up the day before. If we had to setup the day of I don’t think it would be possible, at least if you decide to do a first look and take pictures before the wedding. The actual location was awesome. Big dance floor and plenty of room to move around. The two coordinators that help you are amazing. They are timely and make sure to help you in any way they can.

We were totally blow away with our experience! The Grove of Springfield Township was very accommodating and came with the most experienced and pleasant event coordinators Thom and Karen. Hats off to these two; they made themselves available any time I needed them. They were very helpful in suggesting ideas and offering advice to ensure my day was perfect. The venue was beautiful. They made good on everything they promised. The facilities were immaculate and my decor took it over the top! I was more than pleased. I had a wedding of 150 guest with a 20 person bridal party. The space was more than enough for my guest and vendors. The pictures online are gorgeous but this place is even better in person. The price is unbelievably reasonable. My wedding was an absolute fairy tale. I give this venue 5 stars because of its staff, character, and price.

I have hosted a few events for my non-profit at The Grove. Thom and Karen are a dream to work with. For our events, each is very different with various areas for guest participation. Thom has a knack for the best set up to maximize our seating capacity and assure a good flow. Karen is attention to detail in the very best ways! (It's like having your own personal team of experts to assure your event is a success!) I highly recommend The Grove lighting packages - which set the mood for the event. (Worth the small upgrade!) The beautiful park setting is an asset and great for outdoor photos.

The staff was so professional and Thom was right there whenever we needed something. Everything came together and flowed beautifully!

I absolutely loved working with Karen - she is the true definition of what customer service should be. I have been an event designer for over 40 years and I haven’t found a venue as hospitable as The Grove in a very long time. I was absolute pleasure working with Karen and her sister staff - thank you, thank you, thank you!

The Grove is a hidden gem. They have a great dance floor, the facility is very roomy, parking is great! Also the staff is amazing...all the way from Karen & Thom to the bartenders!!

From the beginning, I knew I wanted the vibe of my wedding to be casual yet classy. I searched long and hard for a venue that would allow my DIY efforts, but also support me in more complicated and professional aspects (such a tables and alcohol). The Grove was the perfect place for such an event. Their packaged deals make everything so easy to plan. We got the venue, tables, chairs, lighting, linens, alcohol, etc. all for a SUPER affordable price. Additionally, we received so much help and support from Thom and Karen. They run a tight ship, but are also caring and professional. They go over all the little details to ensure your wedding is just how you imagine and respond quickly. On the day of the event, Karen was exactly where I needed her, when I needed her. I can't thank her and Thom enough for all they did. I highly recommend the Grove to the bride who wants to party and celebrate love with those closest to her in an easy-going yet professional environment.

We ultimately ended up going with another venue, Just because we wanted to do everything through one vendor. the grove is a very adorable venue without compromising on quality! very easy to work with and always got back with answers to questions in a timely manner! Our wedding was 10-21-17 and we elected to have our ceremony and reception at The Grove. The best decision ever made!! Thom Schneider & Karen worked patiently with us from the beginning of January 2017 all the way up until the day of our wedding. Thom & Karen are very professional and followed up on every email and phone call I placed with them regarding the details of our wedding. The price was reasonable and the list of approved caterers were diverse and affordable. On the day of our event, Thom was there early assisting my wedding team with questions that needed to be answered as well as overall set up with our decor. I did not think I would receive this much hands on accomodations, but Thom went over and beyond our expectations. I will definitely miss working with him and Karen and I wish you both all the best and thanks for absolutely everything. Love you guys.

I loved having my wedding at The Grove. In addition to being easy to work with, affordable, and beautiful, the money from the venue goes towards running the senior center which I think is a beautiful thing. Thom and Karen were easy to get ahold of and made planning a breeze! I loved The Grove!!

I visited several locations before visiting The Grove but once I went there I knew it was the place for us. The staff at The Grove( Thom and Karen) made this stressful time easy breezy for us. They displayed excellent customer service and patience with us. We were able to have a payment plan and customize a package that fit us. If you are looking for a venue that with make your visions come true all while providing exemplary customer service,patience, humor and affordability then look no further! I cant wait to host another event and use The Grove! You will absolutely love Thom and Karen.

My fiance & I were looking to hold the reception for our 2014 wedding at The Grove. First of all, trying to get in touch with someone at this place is VERY hard. It took me two weeks of calling & actually going to the property to try & find someone to talk to to set up a time to go view the venue before I got anywhere, despite having left several voicemails & a callback number. There are two people that are consultants at The Grove: Thom & Karen. Thom has no involvement ever when it comes to viewing The Grove. He does all the bookkeeping & answers the phone, but Karen is the one that does the viewings. Karen & Thom seem to do very little communicating about who has appointments when, & how these appointments go, etc. We went out & viewed the place & both immediately fell in love with it, but wanted to run it by my parent. We loved the place, though, & didn't want to risk losing it, so we placed a 2 week hold. We NEVER were given anything in writing stating we had a hold, despite the fact Karen put our information on a piece of paper with the date of initial viewing & date our hold would be up. We went back with my parents one week later to view the venue again, & NOTHING was mentioned by Karen about us having a hold on the venue, or wanting to extend our hold when we were there. I'm guessing Thom had all the paperwork, because we had to remind her what date we were looking at since she didn't have our info on her. With no piece of paper or anything to remind us we had a hold, we had forgotten about it over the course of the busy week between viewings. At the end of our 2nd viewing, we told Karen that we DEFINITELY wanted to have our reception there, we just needed to book the church. She said ok & she would let Thom know. This was 1 week before our hold was up. Over the course of the next week, we heard NOTHING from The Grove. No reminder calls or emails that our hold was going to expire soon, & were we still interested. I contacted Thom in mid-July & set up an appointment with him to go in, sign the contract, & make the deposit. The evening of the appointment when we arrived, we were informed he ran home real quick, so we waited around for nearly 45 minutes! He informed us he put down our appointment type & time wrong! He thought we were there for a viewing an hour later than our appointment time to finalize things! He apologized, then checked his calendar & informed us the venue was now booked for our date (extended hold). Another couple placed a ONE MONTH hold on the venue (to finalize details) 3 days before I contacted Thom to set up a time to sing the contract, & he ADMITTED to me that he failed to check his calendar to see if our date was still available! He called the couple & they informed him they DEFINITELY wanted the place. When we had stated before we needed to finalize details, we weren't granted an extended hold!! Thom is very disorganized & doesn't seem to be in proper communication with Karen! If you choose to go with this venue, get EVERYTHING in writing & follow up CONSTANTLY with Thom because he doesn't follow up with anyone!! I have had venues I didn't even have a hold with call me within a week of visiting them to follow up, yet Thom doesn't check his calendar nor follow up! Due to their disorganization, we lost the reception venue we had our hearts set on!

Everything went perfectly with the grove, Thom helped us every step of the way and accommodated us to make our night great! I would highly recommend them!

My experience at the grove was wonderful. Tom did everything he could to accommodate us, including letting us in to decorate an extra 2 hours the day before and emailing me answers to questions within 24 hours. My only complaint is you cannot personalize alcohol selections at the bar, and everything costs. Little more. The services are great but I wish the chair covers did not cost so much extra to have.

This place was amazing for my huge family and my huge wedding. I had 295 people at my wedding and this hall provided a spacious and beautiful setting. I LOVED the frosted Cincinnati skyline on the mirror wall, and there was no bad seat in the place. The dance floor was huge and amazing, the linens provided were beautiful and the people were AMAZING to work with. I would recommend this hall to ANYONE!

The Grove was great! The price as compared to many others was a great savings with the amount of time provided and the services they provided as well.

The Grove was the most perfect place for our reception after the wedding ceremony at Spring Grove Arboretum. Just 12 minutes away and easy to get to. The coordinator, Thom, is the most organized and fun man to work with, and kept in touch and answered any and all of our questions! The reception hall provides many great services to help decorate and really dress up the place to make it unique to your own wedding, and Thom is there to help every step of the way. Also, the rental price is a great deal for what you get! I loved our wedding reception and it all went wonderfully well!

We had our wedding reception at The Grove, and it was soooo beautiful!!! Huge dance floor, plenty of space, stage for the DJ, beautiful layout of tables, nice location for the cake, an area for buffet, our own private restroom separate from the main restooms, and amazing help from Thom and Karen!!! They made everything run so smoothly!! Also, the cost of the hall goes to help running the Senior Center next store! Everything was so beautiful, it was beyond my imagination! I was so excited!!

My choice for The Grove was one of the best choices I could make. They had everything done and ready to go the day before the wedding. Thom and his crew did a wonderful job. I would recommend The Grove to everyone. Thom catered to what I wanted and made sure everything was what I wanted. Thank you so much!

Thom Schneider has to be the most accommodating event coordinator in town. Working with him was not work at all. It was like visiting with an old and trusted friend. After our wedding was over, I actually missed working with him!

This place was great. The price was awesome. The choices of caterers was very nice and diverse. But most of all, the coordinator (Thom) was amazing. He was so helpful and willing to work with us on anything. He responded to us quickly on all our questions. He worked with on on any request we had. He was AWESOME. Loved it. The place looked awesome. The dance floor was huge. The beers were the big plastic bottles - how sweet! The Bride got her own personal bath/powder room. And we got our name in lights on the Springfield Township sign! Thom Schneider is brilliant!
