The H Hotel features Indigo Ballroom to host up to 250 guests for an unforgettable wedding reception. Our Indigo Ballroom features elegant white and neutral tones as well as an open floor plan to accommodate parties of all sizes. Highly HIGHLY recommend The H Hotel as your wedding venue! From the minute we started the process with the team to the final moments of our reception, everyone was spectacular. They made us feel so special at every moment from the tour, to the menu tasting, accommodating all of my wild request of decor details, and the best part of all, they took care of everything!! The set up al of our decorations for the reception and tore it all down! Take it from a recent bride, this is priceless! And you will get the pleasure of work with Victoria, their wedding catering manager! I swear, she is the best in the business! She took our vision and brought it to life without me having to lift a finger! She helped with planning our entire reception down to the minute which is so helpful especially when you are in the thick of planning your special day! Our food was out of this world amazing, the staff was so friendly and accommodating! They also did a fantastic job at accommodating food and dietary restrictions for some of our guest at the wedding! 10/10 would recommend this venue for your wedding!! Best bang for your buck!

I had my dream wedding here in April of 2025. As an out of state couple with 1/3 of our family living in Michigan, and everyone else spread across the United States and even Australia, this was the absolute best place we found and we are glad we went with them. We had family from the west coast, east coast, and the south, and this venue was the one.
Staff: not all the staff is perfect, as with any venue, but the person who made all my wedding dreams come true was Victoria Hutter. From the initial contact, to the constant emails back and forth, to the week of the wedding, she was the absolute best planner and coordinator. Communication was clear, she worked with multiple vendors because I had a particular vibe I wanted to curate, and coming from a big party family, the drinks and food were constantly flowing and excellent.
Our main concern was the food and alcohol, and they made every accommodation to make sure they could make it happen for us. For example, their menu does not carry cognac, however, Victoria was able to put in a special order for us to ensure cognac was at the venue.
I worked with majority outside vendors from Detroit, and she made sure all of them showed up at the right time, and I didn’t have to worry about them, even leading up to the day of the wedding.
We have been to weddings all over the world, including weddings at 5 Diamond designation venues, and the H hotel was aligned; service and food.
Did I mention Victoria Hutter was incredible? If you wanted it, she would get it. Late night kitchen accommodations for guests flying in late. Ensured we had appetizers and late night snacks we requested. Taking my phone call mid wedding day because another staff member was mistaken about something important and cleared everyone up immediately. Set up a nice private dinner for us during the cocktail so we could mingle with our guests during dinner.
They also had the option to have guests pick up from MBS airport in a luxurious car for door to door service.
They are also accessible. One of my guests needed accommodations and was unable to drive, they offered to drive that guest anywhere they needed in the city to pick up last minute items.
Some of my relatives are immigrants who do not speak perfect English, and a particular front desk staff person spoke to my relatives in a loud, strange, and slow tone. I had to go downstairs to help them check in and was astounded by the lack of cultural competency of this staff member. Victoria ensured that this did not happen ever again the rest of the weekend.
Em, Sam, and Jon were incredible hotel staff to work with, along with the overnight time staff member at the front desk.
Food was delicious. The bacon skewers were everything. Bar upgrade was worth it.
But in the end, we truly could not have done this without Victoria. She ensured everything was perfect. I will always remember how the H hotel was the venue that was beautiful and where our families came together as one.

Cannot rave about our experience at the H hotel enough! Specifically working with their manager, Victoria. From our very first meeting, my fiance and I were blown away by her kindness and how thorough she was showing us the spaces and details! We left immediately knowing this was where we wanted to get married. We decided to have
our wedding in the Fireside Lounge for 50 people. It was the perfect intimate space! We were married in front of their gorgeous fireplace and later turned the space into our reception. Victoria made planning seriously so easy! She had the amazing/cute idea for me to walk off the elevator and down the aisle. Our cocktail hour was held in the Indigo foyer. The bartenders were superb and attentive. We went with the Italian buffet for dinner and could not have asked for a more delicious meal. Their mushroom gnocchi was out of this world! Their pastry chef is amazing and did a splendid job with our wedding cake and various desserts. Everyone in attendance complimented how attentive and friendly the staff was! A bonus for us was their complimentary valet, as we had quite a few older guests in attendance. Beyond all of that though, we were so grateful that Victoria went above and beyond for us. We never felt like we were just another wedding. We felt our event was just as important to us as it was her. She was there throughout the day ensuring each step went smoothly. Her and her staff even set aside hors d'oeuvres and dessert at the end of the night for us to take up to our room. When we arrived to our complimentary room we were absolutely surprised and amazed by another cake, chocolate covered strawberries, snacks, a handwritten card and champagne. All in all, if you are looking for a gorgeous space, wonderful staff, someone who treats you like family and cares deeply about your day then look no further than the H.

My husband and I couldn’t be happier with how our wedding turned out at The H. Working with Victoria was easy and she was great with laying out all of the information and the timelines. We couldn’t have had a more perfect wedding venue experience. The H Hotel made sure everything was perfect for our wedding.
The venue is beautiful. We got married in the tent in the courtyard, had our cocktail hour in the foyer, and reception in the ballroom. All of the spaces were great! There was lots of great backdrops to take our photos at so we didn’t need to go far. Our guests loved that our ceremony, reception, and their hotel rooms were all the same place so no one had to worry about going between venues. We also got a lot of feedback on how much our guests liked their hotel rooms.
Victoria and Candy from the H did an amazing job leading up to the wedding and the day of to help make sure everything went smoothly. They were very proactive in reaching out prior to our wedding for planning sessions to cover all the details. On the day of they worked with our vendors and day of coordinator to make sure everything was set up and there were no issues. Overall they were friendly, enthusiastic, accommodating, detail oriented, and extremely helpful.
The Elemental food menu had so many delicious options that it was hard for us to pick what we wanted to serve. The H was very accommodating for all of the dietary restrictions of our guests by being able to provided special meals and desserts. Everything the H served from the drinks to the meals and the cake were fantastic and got rave reviews from our guests.
We couldn’t have had a better experience for a wedding venue. Picking the H as our ceremony and reception venue was one of the best choices we made during our wedding planning. We would highly recommend the to other couples looking for a venue for their wedding ceremony and reception.

Victoria Hutter, The Wedding planner / catering manager made our dreams come true from start to finish. She was quick, efficient, and paid attention to all of the small details. She is the reason we chose this venue to host our wedding!!! Her attention to detail, and friendly demeanor made it easy to talk to, when it came to any changes even last minute or the day of. Even with a weekend full of events, before, during, and after, she managed to keep everything in line to ensure we had a special day! Thanks so much Victoria, Especially to all of your staff as well, for making sure our day was nothing short of perfect. Please forward this to your bar staff, the hall staff, and everyone else involved in making sure our evening was perfect. Especially the night manager Friday, who helped ensure everything was perfectly boxed up for us, for our guest the next day! It did not go unnoticed! 5 stars well deserved!

I HIGHLY recommend the H Hotel for your wedding venue! We were lucky enough to have ours here 10/12/24. The staff were so kind, helpful, and welcoming and our guests talked about it all weekend. The food was incredible! Everyone kept telling us it was the best wedding food they’ve had. The best part however, was working with Victoria. She is so organized, always available to help, and any vision you have she is going to help you bring it to life. She has been so phenomenal to work with and we will recommend her time and time again to anyone we can! Thank you for everything you’ve done for us. We could not be more thankful!!

My husband and I were blessed to have our wedding at The H Hotel on 9/13/24. This venue was beautiful and clean, the food delicious, and all staff professional and courteous. But I must highlight the one person who is unmatched in excellent service and made our dream wedding come true, Victoria H! I waited until after our honeymoon was over to make sure I could give my full attention to write the glowing review she deserves. Victoria was the person who helped me navigate every step during wedding planning at The H. She is highly organized, efficient, and very kind. To say Victoria is amazing at her job is an understatement. I didn't know customer service could be so exceptional and Victoria sets the bar very high. I hope The H Hotel staff reads this and knows their employee/co-worker is very much appreciated and I am thankful for her amazing service. From the moment we met with Victoria, the wedding planner, down to every little detail, it was a phenomenal experience! She helps you plan everything down to the very tiniest of details and then implements everything you ask of her and more! She was even there the morning of the wedding to help us decorate! Absolutely a beautiful and affordable venue because everything was included in one of their packages. We had a package that included the ballroom, the food, which was amazing, the liquor, (complimentary desserts, complimentary rooms and a 5% discount because we had it on a Friday night) along with tables, chairs, napkins, tablecloths and pretty mirrors with votive candles for the center of each table. Everyone was super nice, very professional and absolutely went above and beyond for everything! All of our guests were super impressed too! From the food, that was awesome, to the ballroom and all of the decorations and pretty lights. I would recommend them again and again! We had no clue how to plan a wedding but Victoria was amazing and walked us through everything every step of the way:)

There are not enough words to adequately express how pleased I am we were able to have the H Hotel as our reception venue.
You KNOW a venue pays attention to details when the bathrooms are LUXURIOUS! Full floor-to-ceiling stalls and high quality paper towels (you literally don't even need a full one to properly dry your hands).
We worked with Victoria, and she is THE person you want to work with for planning a wedding. She is warm, personable, and professional. She is attentive and cares about making sure your wedding day is everything you can hope it to be.
The chef/ kitchen staff is exceptional- I knew the food would be quality, and it exceeded expectations. We had a plated dinner, and it was all served beautifully and seamlessly.
The room accommodations are wonderful- and we felt spoiled when we made it up to our wedding suite after the reception. Beautiful room aside- we received champaign with flutes we got to keep, a mini version of our wedding cake, chocolate covered strawberries, nuts, truffle chips! Totally spoiled!
There isn't enough room in a review section to properly gush over all the details that made the whole process and wedding day as flawless and beautiful as it was.
The H is able to provide literally every detail, greatly simplifying the stress of finding linens, table numbers, centerpieces, etc. They have it all, and it looks beautiful!
Bottom line- I cannot recommend working with the H Hotel and Victoria enough. The entire day and evening went seamlessly. You will be thrilled by the quality of your event if you get to work with the H Hotel.

Our wedding at the H Hotel was absolutely perfect. During our initial tour of the venue, I knew I had to have my special day at The H. The venue coordinator, Victoria, was there for us every step of the way. She was always available to answer any questions or set up meetings. She truly thought of every detail and made everything go seamlessly on the day of the event. Each staff member at The H Hotel was professional, timely, and courteous. The food and drinks were phenomenal and all of our guests enjoyed all of the options. The event staff took care of every detail, from set up to tear down of the event. The venue was stunning and accommodating. I would highly recommend The H Hotel for small or large events, it was truly the best experience.

They are a one stop shop – ceremony space, happy hour space, get ready spaces, reception, shuttle from the MBS airport, and, of course, the hotel. They have everything! We were torn at first because their Saturdays were all booked up for summer... But we ended up booking them on a Friday, which they currently offer a Friday/Sunday wedding special, which includes 10% off wedding packages, 2 free hotel rooms, 1 free hotel suite, mimosa brunch for 10 people, champagne toast, sweet treats & specialty coffee, and late night snacks - we picked pizza). If I had the choice between Friday and Saturday, I would recommend their Friday deal for sure. Not just because of the deal, but also because the other vendors were very available, and all of our guests showed then had the weekend to recover. We had no complaints about it being on a Friday. Special shout out to Victoria. She was a consummate professional, had great suggestions, she managed all of our decorations (set up and tear down), and was our day-of-coordinator. She was flexible, knowledgeable, and we truly felt that she cared about us and wanted our big day to be perfect. She accommodated all of our requests and found a way to make things happen, even last-minute requests like 3 guests (2 vegetarians) who were only supposed to stay for the ceremony but decided to stay for dinner after all. She didn’t flinch. Oh also, Victoria had some surprise special touches for us like making sure that there were hors d’oeuvres set aside for us and our wedding party, and when we got back to our room at the end of the night, there was cake, champagne and snacks. We received a lot of compliments on the food, the service, and just how beautiful the venue was. Five stars. One thing that didn’t bother me, but a small thing to note – the get ready Gold Room isn’t very picturesque. If you have a great photographer, like we did, it’s workable.

We worked with Victoria Hutter at the H and she curated the most magical event. My wedding ceremony and reception were at the H and they were absolutely gorgeous. This is a wonderful venue for a wedding. The staff was super friendly and helpful. Victoria was willing to go above and beyond to ensure my day went according to plan. I live in Missouri, and Victoria was able to meet virtually and in person - this flexibility helped reduce my stress enormously. Will forever recommend the H for a wedding venue. The H Hotel was a fabulous place to have a wedding. We hosted the rehearsal dinner as well as the wedding event there and all of it couldn't have gone better. Victoria Hutter was our wedding event coordinator and she did just an outstanding job. We worked with her the entire year leading up to the event and she was always professional, organized and just plain fabulous; great personality and always there to listen. The wedding went off without any issues and all of our guest raved about the food and the accommodations at the hotel.

We had such a carefree and perfect day thanks to the H, we wouldn't have changed a thing. While this was not an inexpensive option, we found so much value in the H team, quality and convenience.
You'd expect the food for the bride and groom to be top notch, but all of our guests raved about their dinner selection and couldn't believe how delicious and well prepared everything was. Our cake looked and tasted fabulous, we liked that we were not limited to one flavor.
The ambiance was perfect. The H is a neutral and classy establishment on its own, we barely needed any decorations which helped with our budget. We even got to pick the lighting and uplighting in the reception space prior to the wedding day which was nice, so we didn't have any surprises.
From our tour to our private menu tasting, to the day of and after, many of the H team shined. Candy was excellent at going over the pricing and packages while also giving a thorough tour. The H wedding coordinator, Victoria, was amazing during our tasting and meetings prior to get everything organized so the day could flow stress free. Her organization and willingness to help in many areas were key to having our perfect day. She was there bright in early in the morning, kept us on track with our timeline, and ran around for anything and everything in between. She's a MVP!
HIGHLY recommend having a wedding and all that comes with it at the H. The wedding suite and guest rooms are posh yet comfortable. We loved that our guests could easy pop up to their room, and they didn't have a long walk or trip to get to bed after the reception.
The courtyard, Oxygen Bar and downtown Midland provided nice spaces for our guests to explore while we were taking photos.
We had ample time prior in a storage room to set up the table items, and then the staff had everything in the storage room to grab the next day without us lifting a finger. We had plenty of time to clear out that room so were able to enjoy a nice breakfast at Cafe Zinc.
The H checked all of our boxes, went above and beyond expectations and we look forward to visiting next year on our anniversary. 10/10 recommend!

There aren't enough words to say how great our experience was with the H! I am so glad we chose them for our wedding venue. They make you feel like royalty the way they take care of you and pay so much attention to all of the details! Victoria was so sweet and always quick to respond to any questions we had. The venue is beautiful but the attentiveness of ALL of the staff is really what makes it such an amazing experience. We even had a really special surprise waiting for us when we got back to our hotel suite after our wedding. The food is amazing, it really doesn't matter what food you pick because anything they serve is delicious. The pastry chef is also amazing, and accommodated our special request to have a cheesecake instead of a wedding cake and even included cheesecake as part of our tasting and let us pick some flavors. I truly don't think we could of picked a better venue to tie the knot.

We couldn’t have asked for a better venue for our wedding reception. The food was delicious, the staff was exceptional and our consultant Victoria was amazing!
The Fireside Lounge is beautiful and was a perfect fit for what we had in mind for our wedding celebration. There was plenty of room for our sixty or so guests while still giving an intimate setting. The aesthetics are great and the fireplace makes it feel all the more cozy. The included balcony gave everyone the chance to step outside for breath of fresh air and enjoy the night sky.
The catering options are extensive and delectable. We had trouble deciding on our selections because we enjoyed them all during our tasting. The chefs cooked everything to perfection and the entire staff were pleasant and performed admirably throughout the whole evening.
Victoria was an absolute joy to work with coordinating the whole event. Her passion in planning the reception with us was palpable and ensured us that we were in great hands. Throughout the whole process, she was organized, attentive, accessible, accommodating and dependable. On more then one occasion, we would reach out with a random question or concern and she responded with haste. She even helped us set up our own decorations the day before the celebration. She truly made the planning fun and easy. We couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with!

The H Hotel was the absolute best! Not only was the staff extremely friendly but our coordinator Candy was amazing! She was there throughout the entire process and went above and beyond to make our big day even more than what we could have imagined. All of the staff at the hotel was incredibly helpful and beyond friendly, they even took some photos for us throughout our reception! The food and drinks were AMAZING!! Everything went according to plan and our timeline. There truly is no better place to have your wedding then at The H Hotel!

We had our wedding reception at the H and it was amazing! The staff made the whole day run so smoothly we didn't have to worry about set up at all! We explained our decor vision with materials that we had bought and it was perfectly laid out! They worked beautifully with our other vendors to make set up a breeze I didn't have to think about anything it was already done! The food was amazing too some of the best we've had. Our guests raved about how beautiful the hotel was and how great the service was. Everyone was such a professional and I could not recommend the H enough! We plan on going back to the hotel as guests next!

The H and all of their staff did an amazing job for my wedding! We had around 215 guests and their venue was the perfect size for us. The service and attention to detail were out of this world and made things so easy for me as a bride! They're willing to set up everything for you which was such a blessing. The food and drinks were phenomenal as well. If I planned this all over again I would still choose The H as my venue 100 times over! Heather and Candy were both excellent to work with and were always available if I had any questions or concerns throughout the entire planning process.

We had our wedding reception at The H Hotel and it was perfect. All of the food and the service was top notch. Our guests raved about how impressed they were with the hotel. Especially with COVID still lingering, we were so happy to have the courtyard for everyone to get some fresh air.
We were so happy to have our wedding at The H. They were very accommodating through some last minute changes due to COVID and we couldn't have asked for a better day!

The H Hotel is the perfect place to have a wedding. I was planning from out of state and I was worried about making sure everything was perfect. The H Hotel had great communication and made my dream wedding possible. They are very organized and timely. Everything was perfect and made our wedding day go smoothly. I had both ceremony and reception there and guests stayed there. A true one stop shop. The food, cake and hotel was amazing. All the guests had a great time. I highly recommend having your event here!

The H hotel is a lovely, stunning, and fantastic venue! I had a summer wedding here, and the whole event from start to finish was wonderful. Everyone at the H- from the customer service to the coordinators-will go above and beyond to meet your expectations. The décor of the hotel is unique yet sophisticated, and truly provides a beautiful backdrop for pictures. I also loved the H because you can plan your entire wedding here if you want (the ceremony in the courtyard and reception in the ballroom); this makes for a stress-free wedding day! I cannot say enough great things about the professionalism and generosity of the team at the H hotel. Lastly, the food here is the best! Throughout the night, our guests would not stop raving about how delicious their dinner was; everything from the appetizers to the meals are top-notch and definitely worth the money! I would highly recommend the H hotel for anyone looking for exceptional service, a gorgeous setting, friendly team members, amazing food, and an overall exquisite event experience.

We had the privilege of working with Vickie at The H. She was absolutely phenomenal! We are a very detail-oriented and thorough couple so we had LOTS of questions. I remember one night we scheduled a meeting with Vickie and our one hour meeting turned into a two hour meeting. Vickie did not mind at all! She was always so willing to help, prompt in answering questions, and such a joy to work with. The H is obviously a beautiful venue. If you haven’t been there yet it is definitely worth a visit! Their courtyard is so beautiful and perfect for a summer wedding. The staff treated my husband and I like royalty and we just couldn’t recommend The H enough!

If you are looking for a timeless venue that will surpass all expectations, the H hotel is the place to host! We were so happy with everything. The staff was so kind and considerate... not to mention our guests said “it was the best wedding food they’ve ever had!”. I would recommend The H Hotel for any event that you may be hosting!!

Claire and the banquet team at The H are absolutely phenomenal! Claire was amazing to work with and made my life SO much easier. As an out-of-state bride, good communication was crucial to making my vision come alive, and The H lived up to all of my expectations leading up to the wedding! Let me start by saying that our wedding was the most wonderful day. The venue was clean and beautiful (it's a lot of white and neutral and so it goes with everything). The set up is nice - we had the guys get ready in their hotel room and the girls get ready in the "Gold Room", which was down the hall and around the corner from the Ballroom (reception location) and Courtyard (ceremony location). We had access to the area beginning in the early morning so that we could decorate, which was enough time with a 4:30 ceremony. Our guests liked that everything was at one site and there wasn't driving for them. Most of our guests stayed at the hotel and so it was easy for them to go upstairs after the reception.
The reason for the 3/5 stars is the poor customer service we received on the weekend of our wedding. We had been working with one of the coordinators for about 8 months in the process of planning the wedding ceremony and reception. The plan was for her to be present for rehearsal, and the day of the wedding, and then would hand off to a staff member who would remain on site for the evening hours. We were to have the rehearsal in the courtyard (where the ceremony would be the next day).
A couple of days before the wedding, I was notified via email that she wouldn't be present for the rehearsal, or the wedding day. We had to call and ask for them to find someone else to be present for that hour. We never had contact from any staff member during rehearsal and so last minute questions about the layout of the pergola and unity candle set up or which doors we could enter from couldn't be answered.
The day before the rehearsal, we received an email that we were unable to use the courtyard space for any of our rehearsal time, because another event wanted the space. We were offered either an interior room (a conference room) or the yard outside of the hotel. We were extremely frustrated, settled on the room (rather than be outside in the yard), and wrote down things we needed to see or figure out for the wedding day, when we could get into the courtyard.
As the coordinator couldn't be present for the wedding day, we were told that we would have access to another manager all day. When I arrived at 9AM to begin setup of the reception/ballroom, I ran into a staff member and asked for that manager; the manager wasn't going to be in until noon. Again, were were left frustrated and to figure it out on our own.
Of note: the bartender staff were great, the desk staff were helpful. The catering staff were wonderful and kept on top of the head table's drinks & other needs.
Part of what you are paying for when you rent a space is the staff to help your day go along smoothly. I understand that things conflicts come up, but a plan should've been put in place by the H Staff to manage those conflicts, without us having to call and request it. The reason that our wedding was so wonderful was because I have friends in event management who stepped up and fixed the problems. The venue space is great, but if I were to do it again, I would get the management's phone number on speed dial.

I could not be happier with the H Hotel. First off, the Hotel ambiance, decor, etc. was perfect. It is so tasteful and elegant, it was perfect for our day. The staff was so easy to work with through the whole process. The communication was very quick and clear. I am never a fan of wedding food, but our food at the H Hotel was amazing. We had many compliments on how great the food was. It was nice for guests to wander out to the courtyard throughout the night. It was also so nice for guests to stay the night there at the reception venue. In every aspect, the H Hotel was amazing and perfect for our day!

We were so lucky to have The H as the venue for our wedding!! Kate, the wedding coordinator at the hotel, is very professional and fantastic to work with! She was an especially calming influence in the days leading up to the wedding, and it was great to know that the reception was being handled by someone with her level of experience. All of the staff at the H were incredibly professional and helpful, from the bellman to the servers to everyone at the front desk. We have not stopped receiving compliments from our guests about the quality of the food at the reception, the comfort of the rooms, the beauty of the hotel and ballroom, and the kindness of the staff. We can not say enough nice things about the H as a venue. It was simply the perfect place for our wedding and we would recommend it to everyone!

We visited the H hotel about 15 months before our eventual wedding weekend - we decided to go with the H for our reception (& ceremony) because it was convenient with the lodging, and the fact that we could have both reception and ceremony in the same place, yet different locations (ballroom and courtyard).
We ended up choosing the H hotel because of the wedding coordinator (Megan, at the time), but upon signing our agreement, she terminated her employment. Fast forward, we were assigned a new wedding coordinator, Tammy. Tammy was amazing! I was planning our wedding in Michigan (my hometown) from Tennessee, which in itself was extremely stressful. Tammy helped put my mind at ease - she always prompted all the right questions, and helped me check boxes that I wasn't even thinking of.
Tammy was very attentive, she responded promptly to all my e-mails, phone calls, and inquiries from me (and my mother). She was so helpful.
The catch 22: You can only have food and booze from the H, but this was nice because it omitted the stressors of dealing with more/multiple vendors. We were able to bring in our own wedding cake, so that was nice!
Negatives: Food portions were much smaller on wedding day, than what was presented to us at our food tasting.
We ordered a "late night" pizza buffet, but pizzas were not prepared in time and they only brought out 3 pizzas, and people hovered waiting for the pizza - concept was there, just poorly executed.
After the wedding, it was brought to my attention that the bartenders were rude toward the end of the night, and ended up shutting down the bar 15 minutes early. Now, I (bride) was saying goodbye to guests and wasn't even drinking at this time, but considering we paid a hefty fee for the upgraded bar package, don't cut our time short.
Due to these negatives, I have to knock a star.

The H was an outstanding venue for our daughter and son-in-law's wedding. The ballroom and hotel are beautifully decorated and inviting. Megan, The H's wedding coordinator, was organized, thoughtful, knowledgeable and a helpful guide throughout the planning process and at the reception. The staff that worked the event was top-notch, too. They were attentive, hard-working, fun and sophisticated all the the same time. Also, they were very accommodating in carrying out the personal touches that the bride and groom wanted. One of the reception highlights was the dinner. The meals (two choices) were excellent, presented beautifully and delicious. Several friends and relatives commented that this wedding was one of their best wedding guest experiences, both with the hotel room and the reception. We highly recommend this wedding venue.

We had our daughter's wedding at the "H" Hotel on Saturday evening November 21, 2015 - and it was the most amazing wedding EVER! From the very beginning, Megan and her staff listened to what the bride and groom wanted - and nothing was labeled "impossible". The "H" literally knocked it out of the park with the end result. Booking this event at the "H" was definitely the best decision we made throughout the whole planning process - and they made everything easy, organized, and totally "stress free" for everyone. It was beyond beautiful - it was an EXPERIENCE. Thank you - thank you - thank you - for making our daughter's wedding the event of our dreams, an unforgettable weekend - and the "wedding of 2015" according to all of our friends. If anyone has a special event coming up that you want to be "extra special" - look no further than Megan Eichorn and the "H" Hotel. Incredible venue and staff!

The H Hotel put on an absolutely beautiful event for us. We asked for a lot of special set ups, including string lighting over the dance floor, and the wedding coordinator, Megan, understood our vision and made it all happen seamlessly. Megan was wonderful to work with, and sent us helpful reminders to make sure everything came together perfectly. Our guests were really impressed with all of the little details, which Megan and her team executed better than we could have imagined. The food and the staff during the event were also great and generated rave reviews. Megan worked directly with each of our vendors, including our live band, which made our lives a lot easier in the days leading up to the event and saved us a lot of stress about small details. I would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a very chic comfortable wedding in the mid-Michigan area.

Megan made the entire experience not only easy but enjoyable. I will recommend anyone who is having their wedding to do so at The H-Hotel. The entire staff was friendly and accomditating during our time there and there isn't one thing I would have changed. Megan and the staff made everything flawless for us. We even had one guest comment that this was the best wedding he had ever been to and I believe this is thanks to the Megan and the staff at the H-Hotel.

The H Hotel is absolutely beautiful and the rooms are modern and chic. Having had my wedding at The H, we received a wedding rate for our guests. We got 20 rooms for $139.99 / room which is a great price for these beautiful rooms. Our room was complementary.
Some of the views aren't that great right now as there is construction going on. On the other hand, you may get views of the Tridge or the courtyard.
We did have trouble with room service as I was getting ready for my wedding day. We called down for food but had to leave a voicemail. No one called back so we weren't able to get any food brought to our room.
We were also disappointed to find out just 6 weeks before our wedding that dogs were no longer allowed at The H Hotel. It did not end up being a problem but we had selected the Hotel in part because of its dog-friendly policy. They suggested kennels for dogs but my dog is too nervous to survive a kennel.

We had a wonderful experience working with Megan at the H. She was prompt with all forms of communication (which we really appreciated) and helped us navigate how much of everything we would need for our day. The Hotel was extremely accommodating not just for us and our wedding, but for our guests as well. Everyone that stayed over absolutely loved the rooms, the friendliness of the staff, and of course the food! I would definitely recommend the H to anyone looking for a wedding venue! Beautiful location and awesome people to work with!

I had my wedding reception at the H this past May. I cannot imagine anything better! Everyone raved about the food - I heard no complaints about any cold dinners or slow service. (We had a plated dinner for 90 guests). They helped to take care of all the vendors. I asked for a dinner for my photographers and they had them set up somewhere before I even knew so I had to think of nothing. My favorite part was that we had our own personal server for the evening. He made sure our drinks were refreshed and that no one took our food away before we could eat it because of us talking to our guests. Our coordinator, Megan, made us feel comfortable every step of the planning process. I had no concerns that she would make everything happen exactly as we imagined it and she lived up to that. The event manager for the evening ran the show behind the scenes. He was there if we needed anything - but everything was already taken care of! Megan helped us come up with our concepts for decorations along the way. We had some concerns over our ceremony location working out. Megan assured me that they could hold our ceremony there with only a little notice if we needed to have a back-up plan. Our suite was included for the evening. There was chocolate covered strawberries and champagne in the room :). The rooms are amazing and newly renovated. All the guests really enjoyed the rooms and found the booking process easy. They took care of all the gifts and getting them to my parents room and to our breakfast the next morning. We had a small group but still needed to meet the sales minimum - Megan helped us to come up with some creative ways to maximize this for us. We had cakes at every table as center pieces. We chose to provide the cake plates for this. My only complaint is that these were not wrapped up again for us the way they came. Nothing was broken though so in the end this wasn't a big deal.
We really had a wonderful evening with extremely low stress and absolutely no issues that night thanks to all the wonderful staff!

We had our reception here on May 2nd, 2015. Megan, the wedding coordinator, was so easy to work with. She was incredibly helpful and super easy to contact and get ahold of. I emailed her constantly, and she always responded in a timely manner and without irritation! The H was very flexible and accommodating. We had a few special stations we wanted, and they made sure everything was set up just the way we wanted. The food was absolutely amazing. I had numerous people tell me it was the best filet they had ever had. We also did a brunch the next morning for guests that stayed at the hotel, and that was delicious and went over really well. I was SO happy with our décor. The H is an incredibly beautiful venue, very classic and clean. The staff was very polite and professional. We were both very happy with everything and everyone we worked with here. The H is without a doubt the best reception venue in the tri-cities.

We rented the Table Restaurant for my bridal shower and it was absolutely beautiful. The chef worked with me to design the perfect menu for my afternoon Tea Party shower. I was able to request several dishes I wanted that weren't even on the menu - and everything was delicious. The staff were perfectly polite and efficient and all of my guests were impressed. I would highly recommend this venue!

The staff at the H and the wedding planner were absolutely wonderful. They incorporated everything that I wanted. I was worried about the dinner service and portion sizes and I was blown away. There were huge portions and the service was awesome. The head table had two personal waiters that were there to serve the bridal party only and they were great. You won't be disappointed by anything the H provides.

This was my wedding so I'm obviously partial but this place from start to finish treats you and your guests like royalty. Literally the best service ever. Great pace at dinner. Great service. Friendly. Our planner was Candy and she was amazing! Highly, highly recommended! Every guest loved it and told both my husband and I how amazing it was!

Got married here on May 23, 2014 and it was absolutely perfect!! Candy, the wedding coordinator, was amazing. She was incredibly tentative, detail oriented and always quick to respond. She is seriously such a sweet person and made the entire process fun, flawless and stress free. The entire staff at the hotel went out of their way the entire weekend to make sure everyone was happy, not to mention they all seemed like they genuinely loved working there as they were always smiling :) All our guests raved about the food and service at the hotel - everyone said it was the best food they've ever had at a wedding reception (including my grandpa, who is a grumpy old man!) I can honestly say that nothing went wrong on my wedding day, and if it did, I didn't notice. I would get married again here in a heartbeat. 5 stars all the way!! :) Thank you H Hotel!!!!

I was extremely pleased with the H Hotel and would highly recommend it as a wedding venue. I had both my ceremony and reception at the hotel and could not have asked for anything better. I was assigned to Megan as my event coordinator. Each time I needed to sort out any details for my wedding, I was able to reach her directly. She functioned somewhat as a wedding planner and considering the fact that I planned my wedding in 2 weeks, she was a huge help. She even met with me the morning of to tie up any loose ends and when the person who was supposed to seat my guests arrived late, she stepped in and filled that role for me. The only glitch along the way in the planning was that my guests were not able to stay at the hotel due to it being completely booked out. However, I planned in 2 weeks so that was understandable. I wasn't even sure I would have gotten a room the night before but thank God a room opened up for me.The food was great and Megan worked with the chefs to make sure the food met our dietary needs. The AV technician was there on time and everything just fell into place very nicely. The hotel property is impressive: very clean and modern. We took all our photos, indoor and outdoor, at the H. My husband and I received a complimentary suite the night of our wedding which was beautiful. Overall, we were totally satisfied with our decision to have our wedding at the H Hotel and would recommend it to anyone.

The H was the last vendor we looked at and knew immediately that our reception would be here! Not only was the entire space gorgeous, the service we experienced from Candy and the rest of the staff throughout the entire process was great. The cost was even great, especially considering everything it covered in comparison to other venues. If we had to do it all over we would definately choose The H again!
