The First Look
The Hamilton Event Center is a sophisticated venue that makes a prime wedding destination for ceremonies and receptions. Located in Edmonton, Oklahoma, The Hamilton Event Center is easily reached by car and allows for a variety of different wedding gatherings. No matter the size and specifications of your wedding party, this compact space is sure to meet your needs, handling anything up to 250 guests at any one time.
The event space comprises indoor and outdoor locations for wedding ceremonies and receptions. The following wedding spots are available to couples when planning their gathering at The Hamilton Event Center.
Banquet Hall. With classic birch wood flooring, taupe walls and lofty ceilings, the Banquet Hall makes a romantic, laid-back setting for ceremonies and receptions. This adaptable space can accommodate 170 guests for a sit-down meal configuration and 250 for a strolling reception. The hall space also features colored lighting and two flat-screen TVs, which can be used for customized wedding slideshows.
The Patio. In addition to the banquet hall, the center provides an outdoor seating area, which is appropriate for summertime gatherings, able to host outside vendors. The Patio makes a brilliant spot for guests to mingle during cocktail hour.
What You Should Know
The experienced team of planners at The Hamilton Events Center operate a number of wedding packages from which couples can choose. You can simply choose to use the venue as the location for your wedding reception or hire the hall for the duration of your wedding day, taking care of the service and party. Rental of the facility ensures you six hours’ usage of the hall. Wedding service rental provides couples with two hours of use, while rental of the hall for receptions gives to-be-weds four hours. Signature punch is provided and couples are encouraged to set up a bar for evening service. The venue supplies a number of catering options that tend to most dietary needs. Prior to the wedding day, you are also able to use The Hamilton Event Center as a setting for rehearsals, for an extra cost.
Bouquets and ceremonial decorations are included in the rental fee when you choose the venue as your location for the wedding service. The venue is able to provide a minister. In addition to flat-screen TVs, there is also a sound system on hand, which allows you to save money by hooking up your computer or iPod with your custom-made playlist. Setup and clearing away are included in the rental fee. There is on-site parking. The venue is wheelchair accessible.
A full day's rental of The Hamilton Event Center covers the ceremony, food, decorations and cake cutting. Noteworthy extras include:

My little sister used the Hamilton Event Center for her Wedding last weekend. I can not say enough positive comments about this space. Jennifer and her staff were very helpful, professional and courteous. The space was beautiful. Even during a small disagreement between the bride, a family member and Jennifer, Jennifer did her best to ensure that the misunderstanding was resolved quickly and that everyone was happy.

My husband and I had our wedding reception at the Hamilton on June 30 2012 and it exceeded our expectations. Working with Jennifer and her staff was amazing and she really listen to every detail I asked for, And every time I changed my mind (which was very often, I am what you called the indecisive bride) she was more than willing to make each and every change. When the reception came all of my guest was complimenting us on how beautiful and romantic every thing was. My guest even commented how attentive Jennifer and her staff was to them. From the flowers for the tables (which Jennifer did) to the up lighting which made our reception very romantic. Every thing from start to finish ran very smoothly, and not at anytime did I have to worry about anything for our reception and we really could not ask for more. I will highly recommend the Hamilton Event Center for any couple who truly want to have a memorable and well organized reception. Thank you again Jennifer!!!!

My husband and I loved working with Jennifer at the Hamilton Eventer Center. Not only did they host our reception but she also did the flowers for our wedding. The reception looked amazing and everyone was so friendly and helpeful! We highly recommend them!
Meet The Owner
Jennifer is the founder and owner of The Hamilton Event Center. She has a BA in Formation Arts and a BA in Art Education from UCO. She began working in the floral industry in 1991, and in 1993 she opened her own floral business. She has always loved weddings and event planning and has coordinated many weddings over the years. Then in June of 2008 she opened her own event center in hopes that she could offer a more modern, elegant, and stress-free venue option in the North OKC/Edmond area.
