Tyler and I were so thrilled with how easy it was to work with The Harper Team. Natasha, Maggie, and the rest of The Harper staff are truly amazing at their jobs. Maggie made wedding planning and our wedding day so stress free and the most memorable. She was the most organized and prepared coordinator. The team accommodated any of my requests during planning and the day of the ceremony. We were so impressed by their commitment to going the extra miles for us and our families. We would 100% recommend The Harper for any event.
We had an amazing experience at the Harper for our wedding! We went with the day of coordinator and Natasha made everything so smooth and organized. As the bride I was worried I would be caught up in the details the day of but I was able to really relax and enjoy myself and time with my friends and family. I loved how I could customize how much help I wanted with the wedding and able to add on services like the day of coordinator and the clean up service. We had family both in Erie and Pittsburgh and this venue was the perfect spot and easy enough to get to for both sides. I highly recommend this venue for anyone planning a wedding in the area!

I knew before we were even engaged that this beautiful venue was the venue for us! After touring the venue, I wasn't even home before I sent them our confirmation email to book our wedding date. Maggie was our day-of-coordinator and she could not have been a more perfect fit for us. She was extremely professional, organized, and so attentive to the wedding day vision that my husband and I had! I knew that my wedding day was in good hands and I can honestly say that knowing she was handling everything kept me at such ease on the day. I would not change a single thing about The Harper and the incredible team that they have! Natasha and Maggie were absolutely fantastic to work with and I can confidently say that I will recommend them to everyone who asks me.
From the moment we toured the harper to the days after our wedding I cannot recommend the Harper and their team enough. I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience was with The Harper. The day of coordinators are an absolute must and made the month leading up to our wedding and day of so seamless. They went out of their way to make sure the day was perfect and that myself, my husband, and our families were taken care of at all times. I personally worked with Maggie and Shauna for my wedding and they could not be more professional, kind, and great at what they do. The Harper and their team is without a doubt the best. I could not imagine a more perfect day and it wouldn't of been possible without them. We could not recommend this venue more!

I cannot say enough about how wonderful my experience was with The Harper. It is a beautiful venue and everything is extremely clean. They are so professional and on top of everything you could possibly need to be prepared for a wedding. I 100% recommend the day of coordinators. Maggie (amazing!) and her team (especially Shelby) made the day! They take care of everything you could think of and everything you don’t think of! They ensure that everything is taken care of so that you can relax and just enjoy your day. Not only do they help the day flow smoothly but they are constantly checking on the bride, the groom, and their family to make sure everyone is doing good and ensure everyone is enjoying the day. They also were extremely helpful with reaching out to vendors and making sure everyone knew where they were suppose to be when they were suppose to be there. I highly recommend this venue for a wedding an any other event you may have!
We had the absolute best experience at the Harper Event Venue !!! Natasha and Maggie were so wonderful to work with, and answered any question that we had extremely quickly. They provided us a full list of vendors that have previously worked in the space and with each other and additional vendors in the area. We were so happy with every single vendor and the space itself. It is the perfect indoor outdoor venue with the farm experience and hotels still very close by. This was absolutely our dream venue and it is large enough to hold all of the guests that we wanted to invite. We could not recommend this venue more!!!!

We absolutely loved everything about our experience with The Harper Event Venue! Everybody that we worked with was so thorough and helpful when it came to making our dream wedding come to life. My husband and I are so thankful for this venue and that it helped us have the wedding of our dreams! We highly recommend the additional services that The Harper provides like the clean-up services and most importantly, the Day-Of-Coordinator. I did not have to worry about anything in the days leading up to my wedding and most importantly, I did not have anything to worry about the day of because our coordinator took care of everything! The venue itself is so beautiful and we were able to decorate it to make it our own. We wouldn't have wanted our wedding any other way!

It was a blessing to have a venue that did not have any "hidden strings attached," were very realistic and honest people, and trusted their clients with their venue space and materials. THE PERFECT VENUE! It is so beautiful and such a blank canvas that you can make it totally your own. The space and furniture is so gorgeous that you barely even need decorations to make it truly stunning. After seeing the venue online and then touring it, we knew we had to have our wedding there. It was so important to us that the indoor ceremony space was just as beautiful as the outdoor space, as I knew it would be so stressful for us to worry about what the weather would be like the day of. We ended up having the ceremony indoors, and the team seamlessly re-configured the space for us during cocktail hour. One of the best things about the space was also the getting ready room! We loved it so much. The Harper is also between Erie and Pittsburgh, which was important to us because of our guests - and it also allowed us to use vendors from all over the place! Every single time we spoke with a vendor and they knew the wedding was at the Harper, they were so excited. So many vendors said that the Harper is their favorite place to work and that the coordinators are their favorite to work with. We had Maggie for day of coordination, and she was amazing. She brought our vision to life and took so much stress off of us. We had SO many compliments from our guests about how smoothly everything went and how kind Maggie was. I have not heard even ONE negative thing from our guests, vendors, or from other couples about the Harper. It really was perfect. I can't wait to get the rest of our professional photos back to re-live how beautiful the reception space was.

Stop searching and BOOK THIS VENUE NOW. My husband and I are from Erie, PA. I first heard of the venue by seeing a post from someone that I went to high school with who had her wedding there. When I saw the venue photos, I knew that I needed to see it in person. It was something I had not seen before venue-wise in the area that we live. The Harper was the first venue that we toured for our wedding, and we immediately fell in love. So much so that we cancelled the next venue tour that we had scheduled. We booked shortly after our visit and I'm so thankful we did as the dates book up extremely fast!
Adding on the "day of/month of" coordination services was worth every single penny. I would say the same thing about adding on the design services. I was lucky enough to have Natasha, the venue owner, as my coordinator/designer and all that I can say is that she was absolutely incredible from start to finish. Truly the best of the best. She was my right-hand woman and was there any time I needed anything or had a question even if it was unrelated or just general wedding advice. She had the quickest response time and was okay with me texting her any time even if that was at 7am or 10pm, never making me feel like a bother. It was apparent that she really cares about the people she works with and that it is important to her to make their special day go perfectly. Natasha works diligently with your other vendors and is extremely organized and detail oriented. She is talented and knowledge and truly has wedding, event planning, and design expertise.
My husband and I were extremely satisfied with the service we received from The Harper. We felt as though our family, friends, and wedding guests were just as pleased with the experience on the wedding day itself. This team goes above and beyond. I would recommend them a million times over.
We fell in love with The Harper from our first tour with Natasha, the venue owner, because of its beautiful grounds and spacious, industrial interior. Since we weren't from Meadville, Natasha really helped by providing us with a list of great local vendors. Maggie, our month of coordinator, was one of the kindest people to work with. She put in a lot of effort into getting to know us as a couple and what we wanted from the day. We had multiple guests comment on how seamless the day flowed as a result of all of Maggie's hard work and attention to detail.
We got married at the Harper October 7th of this year and it was beyond beautiful. We received so many compliments about the venue and it's surroundings. Natasha, the owner, is beyond great and very responsive! Maggie was also so much help and just so great to work with, very responsive and easy to talk to! I would choose The Harper again and again.
I have to first start this review by speaking about Maggie. When we decided to book a month of coordinator I’m not sure what we expected but Maggie was above and beyond anything we imagined. She was kind, communicative, very organized, and did so many behind the scenes things that I’m genuinely touched by her attention to detail and her effort on our wedding day. She made our wedding vision come to life and I was blown away seeing everything put together that we planned for over a year.
I knew after the first conversation my husband and I had with Maggie that she would be on top of everything on the big day and handle any issues that could arise. For as much as you plan, things pop up and you’re going to want to go with a person who can handle things with grace. That’s Maggie and the Harper team. My husband and I felt like we were able to be present on our wedding day, which was something that was very important to us. Maggie and her assistants truly made our day a breeze.
As someone who wasn’t sure if a month of coordinator was necessary, after booking with Maggie - that decision was the best one we made. Every venue would be so lucky to have their own Maggie.
About the Harper Event Venue itself- If lived in PA I would be annoyingly recommending them to my neighbors but the next best thing I can do is write this review and say that as an out of town bride I am beyond thankful we booked The Harper for our wedding. It was our dream venue. It has a beautiful outdoor area where we had the ceremony facing the pond and our pictures turned our gorgeous with the modern farmhouse style of the venue. We loved that it’s a “blank canvas” inside that we could create our own style which made the planning process more fun.
Our guests were blown away by the venue, and we are so happy we got married at The Harper. We absolutely loved it. I wish we lived in PA so we could attend more weddings there!
After I got engaged, I started following photographers on instagram to get ideas for engagement photos. One of the photographers posted a wedding at the most beautiful venue I had ever seen, The Harper Event Venue. The next day we drove to Meadville for a tour of The Harper with Natasha and that evening secured our date!
One word comes to mind when I think about the Harper, and that is absolute PERFECTION. The cleanliness, attention to detail, and the versatility of the entire space is nothing short of amazing. Everything from the ceremony space, the outdoor patio, the indoor/outdoor bar, huge dance floor to the get ready room looks like something out of a movie. Even the bathrooms are beautiful! It was everything I could have ever dreamed of and more.
The only thing more perfect than getting married at the Harper was having Natasha as our full scale wedding planner and day of coordinator. Natasha is truly the sweetest woman I have ever met. Her patience, professionalism, thoroughness, calmness and attention to detail throughout the entire process did not go unnoticed. I will never be able to thank her enough times.

We had our wedding on a Sunday at the Harper and it was absolutely beautiful! We booked the venue during its construction about two years out from our wedding and the owner Natasha was so helpful and answered any and all questions I had during the planning process. The ability to customize our wedding package through the different services they offer was amazing and made our wedding so much more affordable than if we had gone with a different venue. Everyone at the wedding had nothing but good things to say about the venue and how beautiful it is!! Highly recommend using the water feature and pond as the back drop for all your pictures. The Harper has really brought a beautiful and afforable wedding venue to the area and I cant wait to see more beautiful weddings there in the future!
We had our wedding at The Harper on August 18th and it was PERFECT. We hired Maggie for our month of coordination and she was fabulous to work with! She touched base with all of our vendors to coordinate the day, made us a timeline, and made sure the day ran smoothly and that set-up was flawless. She was always available to us and we could tell how hard she was working to make our day perfect! My husband especially loved that she made sure he had a Manhattan in his hand the moment we were done with our ceremony! Maggie and her team even ran out to buy us extra liquor when we ran out a bit earlier than expected!
The Harper as a venue is stunning and I'm so glad we went with it for our wedding! I've only seen a few photos so far but they are gorgeous. We wanted a wildflower theme four our wedding with a lot of tapered candles, votives, and florals and the space lent itself perfectly to our romantic vision! The getting ready space for the bridal party was big enough for myself, 8 bridesmaids, two moms, two hairstylists and two makeup artists. We had the venue at 8am the morning of our wedding which was wonderful since we had so many people to get ready!
I can not say thank you enough to Maggie for being so wonderful, I'm so glad we went with The Harper for our big day! If you're on the fence, I would HIGHLY recommend this venue!
We had searched (both online and in person) all over within an hour of Pittsburgh for a specifically perfect venue (modern, contemporary, minimalist with a beautiful outdoor ceremony area) and just couldn't find the right place. When we stumbled upon The Harper (north in Meadville) online, I remember looking at my then fiance in disbelief that we had found IT! The feeling was indescribable as I knew it was exactly what we were looking for. We immediately went to view it and booked our date right after. Natasha, the owner, was excellent in helping us in the beginning... But when Maggie, our coordinator, took over, she went above and beyond all of our expectations! From layouts to decor to my stress levels about possible thunderstorms, she was immensely helpful in every single way. She eased me nerves, she made me laugh, and she just genuinely is a good person who cared about making our wedding perfect. We highly recommend adding on the day-of/month-of coordinating services. Our day truly went so unbelievably smoothly, that I kept looking over my shoulder for something to go wrong... And it just didn't. Maggie and her assistants handled EVERYTHING! The Harper was a dream come true. Natasha, Hayley and her assistant were amazing especially with making sure the ceremony went as planned. We booked The Harper for our wedding this August. We booked Maggie as or event coordinator and had a wonderful experience. The venue was GORGEOUS and the staff was very helpful. Maggie was able to help with so much and made our wedding day as least stressful as possible. From start to finish the process of working with Natasha as well as Maggie was very easy and made the wedding planning process a breeze. I highly recommend The Harper and the day of coordinating services for all your needs!
The Harper is literally as good as it gets - it sets the standard for every other venue out there in many ways:
1 - The first is obvious. Aesthetically, you will not find a venue that is more versatile. Whether you want timeless elegance, industrial, contemporary, minimalistic, romantic or boho, The Harper can be customized all with the backdrop of an outdoor space that is equal parts rustic and modern.
2 - The Harper also offers incredible coordination, ranging from full-coordination for a truly hands-off luxury experience from start to finish, to month of and day of coordination with all the final details taken care of. As a vendor myself, I am always appreciative of their prompt responses, communication so I always know what is expected of me as a vendor, and flexible with start times. I have often seen first-hand the owner deliver coffee, lunch, and whatever else the bridal party needs. You aren't just getting a contracted coordinator that works elsewhere; you are getting human beings who pour their heart into the venue and the clients who celebrate there.
3 - The Bridal Suite. As a bridal hair specialist, I cannot emphasize enough what a luxury this suite is. It is open, spacious, has incredible lighting, photo-worthy, and I've heard bridal parties say on numerous occasions "wow, they thought of everything!" This is so important for a bride who wants to relax with her people all together on such an important day.
4 - High Caliber Vendors. The Harper offers a preferred vendor guide for booked clients. With over 50 brides annually, I spend 50-60% of my bookings at The Harper and truly feel like I am coming home when I am there. This has personally taken my journey from solo entrepreneur, to having co-workers that have become my friends. I have the utmost respect for the level of professionalism of the various vendors from makeup artists, photography, videography, bartending, catering, floral, and the list goes on. The Harper upholds standards and recommends only those who have a true dedication and mastery of their crafts for an ultimately streamlined experience for any bride.
Lastly, the location - it is centrally located to major cities including Pittsburgh, Cleveland and Buffalo. Brides travel hours just to come to this venue because it really is that good.

The Harper was absolutely the most perfect wedding venue! We did full planning with Natasha and she and her whole team were amazing to work with. She was able to coordinate so much for us while always making sure it was exactly what we wanted. It was great knowing that when problems came up, we had Natasha on our side to solve them. We got married in June and really wanted an outdoor ceremony but with a good backup plan, which the Harper had! It rained all morning and we ended up setting up for an inside ceremony but at the last minute, the sun came out and we were able to quickly transition and have the outdoor ceremony of our dreams! Getting ready right at the Harper was great, loved having the bridal suite to use all day & evening. There is so much lovely greenspace and various areas for photos, too! And of course, the reception space is amazing, the whole venue is perfect to do what you want with. We kept the big doors open and our guests loved being able to move freely from the party inside to the more chill atmosphere outside. Everything was incredible and we couldn't have asked for a better day! So grateful we went with the Harper!

It was the first venue we looked at and was everything we could have wanted and more. We also can’t say enough great things about Natasha, the owner, and everyone involved. The venue is gorgeous and so well thought out- it fit the vibe we were going for perfectly.
The beautiful outdoor ceremony space, the pond, the fire pit, the getting ready space, and all the attention to detail within the venue itself created the perfect back drop for our wedding, and we got so many compliments from guests. Natasha was also always so helpful and quick to respond to questions, making the whole process stress-free!

Maggie was our day of coordinator and let me tell you. You need her! She was so kind and knowledgeable throughout the whole process. She made sure the wedding went off without a hitch. The venue was absolutely perfect our guests loved all the photo opportunities and the layout. It is very handicapped friendly which made everything so much easier. Dylan and I were lucky enough to have the most perfect weather and cannot wait to share our beautiful pictures with everyone. The Harper thinks of everything for their guests from a coffee and tea bar in the bridal suite to feminine and baby supplies in the bathrooms. They are incredible and how much Natasha cares shines through in all her employees and the venue. Book with them NOW, you won’t regret anything!
Absolutely perfect! The venue has the perfect mix of indoor and outdoor space and is just all-around beautiful. There is plenty of space to navigate the venue as well. Originally, we were hesitant to pay for a day of coordinator, however, we were proved SO WRONG! It was worth every freaking penny! We thought we were going to have to decorate EVERYTHING ourselves, but they stepped WAY up and did so much! We really only had to hang up/tear down our drapes and they took care of just about everything else! They also kept the day running smoother than we ever thought it could have! We could not have done it without them!
The Harper event venue is truly the venue of your dreams! We had the most beautiful spring wedding and the day was absolutely perfect! We had Natasha as our full event planner/designer and we could not have done it without her! I sent inspiration pictures of florals and overall color scheme I was going for and she really brought to life everything I visioned. From invitation design to centerpieces, everything turned out absolutely beautiful! She will give a list of preferred vendors and handle all the communication for you, while also keeping you included every step of the way. We know planning a big event can be overwhelming, but Natasha will keep you on track and make sure you are focused on what needs done first and when. If there is anything that needs thought of, she has already thought of it and planned for it. She responds quickly and her passion for event planning shows everytime!
We also had Maggie for our day-of coordinator and she was absolutely amazing! Natasha created a detailed timeline of the day and Maggie made sure everything flowed beautifully. Due to weather, we were waiting to see if our ceremony would be inside or outside as we had hoped. We chose to keep the ceremony indoors and Maggie and her team created a beautiful indoor ceremony space so quickly for us. From the very beginning to the very end, Maggie was there for any and all of our needs. She is so worth it!

Our photo/video team has had the privilege of documenting several weddings each year at The Harper and every time we go back we fall in love with it just a little bit more. It is just designed to a photographers dream. The white walls, white ceiling, and white everything makes photographing seamless and we love serving our couples there!
Light either makes or breaks a photo, and the Harper, in just about every corner, has stunning light. They have plenty of shaded areas which is HUGE if you have a wedding on a super sunny day. The reception space is lined with doors letting in lots of natural light for your reception photos. And golden hour there, well, is pretty much the most magical thing.
Even though we are at The Harper multiple times each year - we never get sick of it. For backgrounds, the venue itself has great options with the wood-slated doors, the white steel on the side, the pond, the woods, the waterfalls – seriously, endless. We love the Harper team. They are extremely easy and kind to work with and make the day flow seamlessly for our couples. They also work FREAKING hard all day long. Watching them run around all day seriously makes me want to take a nap! Whenever I hear that our couples have hired them for the day of coordination and/or planning - I know it’s going to be the best day ever. I'm so grateful for the opportunity to photograph here and can't recommend it enough.
My husband and I got married at the Harper in September of 2022. When I tell you this venue was everything and more to us, I mean it. The Harper Event Venue was a dream come true. This venue allowed us to be as creative as we wanted to be and they rolled with every single crazy idea we had. Natasha and Maggie were beyond helpful in every single stage of wedding planning and were always so responsive.
We also loved being able to book the venue for the entire weekend. It was so much more relaxing just being able to set up and have rehearsal the day before. It also made it so much easier for our families so they didn’t have to stay late at the venue post wedding cleaning up.
If you’re thinking of booking The Harper, DO IT. Truly one of the easiest and best decisions we made.
My husband and I got married at The Harper in October of 2022. The venue is beyond gorgeous. It is modern, yet timeless and was the venue of my dreams! The Harper staff is also made up of an incredible group of women. If you want a stress free wedding/planning experience, you need to hire the girls at The Harper! They are attentive and really care about making sure you have the best day possible. I could not recommend The Harper enough.
The Harper is stunning. I used another service that helped to coordinate everything for my day, but even so, Natasha and Maggie were wonderful to work with. The day of, Maggie was so incredibly wonderful and she did everything she could to help (even if it was just snagging some bubbly for us after the ceremony!). I’d recommend this venue and the team to anyone and everyone. It truly is a hidden treasure between Erie and Pittsburgh!

The Harper is an absolute dream venue. This location features anything you could dream of: a fire pit, pond and beautiful surrounding land, indoor/outdoor bar, bridal suite with all the fixings, and a very large reception space which allows you to create the wedding of your dreams. Natasha was so amazing to work with. She was quick to respond to any questions that arose before the wedding. She offered an extensive and organized list of suggested vendors. I am so glad that I included the day-of coordinating services because, as a bride who was worried that I would have to feel like a hostess on my wedding day, I actually got to sit back and enjoy my own party. I know for a fact that I would not have been able to do that if it weren’t for Natasha and her amazing staff. Natasha and her staff worked tirelessly to ensure a smooth running day for all in attendance. I received many compliments from my bridal party, parents, and guests about how smooth everything ran and easily the night flowed together. Actually... looking at the reviews, I'm noticing my mom even went out and posted a review about my wedding day haha! But really, that's how amazing this venue and the services were. This venue is BEAUTIFUL! Everything you could ask for your perfect day. Each step was extremely smooth - from getting a quote all the way to the actual day! The owner, Natasha, is super sweet and answer any and all questions we had. We also opted to have Maggie as our day-of-coordinator and it was WORTH THE MONEY! She is also incredibly sweet! She handled every single detail, even ones that we weren't sure she would since we DIY'ed a lot of things. She made the day super laid back and easy for my husband and I and we are so grateful for her and the whole staff! We also opted for the staff to set-up and tear-down and they did it so quick and efficiently, it made getting all of our belongings a breeze. This venue is the perfect location for your wedding and we are SO lucky to have found a date this year!
I couldn't have been happier with my experience at The Harper. The venue itself is beautiful. It incorporates modern design with so many convenient touches. The bridal suite for getting ready is spacious and beautiful for pictures and the outside ceremony space is unique and picturesque (although we didn't get to use it due to weather).
The best decision we made was hiring Natasha Learn, the owner of The Harper, to be our full service wedding planner. She recommended an awesome team of vendors, helped us choose the vibe and style of our decorations, and took care of coordinating all our calls and decisions with us. She was there all day the day of our wedding to coordinate with vendors and deal with any issues that came up. It was as close to a stress free planning process as possible. I can't recommend her enough, she's extremely talented and helpful. Our wedding was perfect and we loved every detail of the day.

I can’t imagine having my wedding anywhere other than The Harper. For starters, the space is absolutely beautiful and has so many touches that just elevates the whole experience for guests. The grounds are stunning and there is so much space, making it perfect for a ceremony and reception site! Natasha was amazing to work with from the jump and was so responsive and helpful — she would always email back right away and had so many resources on hand! We opted for the day/month of coordination and I cannot recommend this enough! Hayley was an absolute dream to work with! She was SO helpful and answered every question I had, she even anticipated the questions I hadn’t thought of yet! I had such peace of mind on my wedding day knowing that Hayley and her talented team had everything under control. I was able to relax and she kept things moving smoothly and seemlessly! She also brought us snacks while we were getting our photos taken! It’s personal touches like those that elevate The Harper and really make it such an incredible venue. Where to begin… My husband and I cannot recommend The Harper and their crew enough!! We opted for the month of/day of coordination services and could not be happier with all the help provided by our coordinator, Hayley, and everyone else from The Harper. We truly could not have done it without them. Natasha, Maggie, and Hayley all responded to our emails immediately and were so professional and easy to work with during planning!! On our actual wedding day, Hayley and her crew made the venue look phenomenal and made the day go seamlessly. As soon as we said our “I do’s,” Hayley made sure we had a drink in our hand and that all of our guests were enjoying themselves!! Thank you to The Harper for providing the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding on 10/9/2022! Words do not do justice to the perfect blend of nature and stylish structure. The inside was tastefully decorated while the outside held nothing back and provided breathtaking beauty wherever you looked. We couldn’t be happier with our choice of The Harper as our wedding venue! It was everything we dreamed of for the day. The space is modern, clean, and beautiful to the eyes on its own. You can decorate it as much or as little as you want, but the space always speaks for itself. I fell in love with this venue before it was finished. Just as I had imagined, it was the perfect space for our perfect day! It is such a beautiful, spacious venue that offers both indoor and outdoor space, a bridal suite, and the most on point details. Natasha put so much thought into creating this space for couples. I can't say enough amazing things about this venue and the staff. The venue itself is absolutely stunning, the inside and outside area. The venue is such an open and gorgeous inside with so much room. The bathrooms are clean and spacious with decent amount of stalls. The outside area is beautiful no matter if you get married in front of the pond or the fireplace. We were fortunate to have a beautiful April day and able to get married outside. Having the separate outside space to get married and able to have the inside just set up for the reception made the day a lot easier for the staff and less stress on me as the bride because I was able to see how the reception was going to look while setting up. Having the bridal suite connected to the reception was my favorite part. Even though I had my wedding planner Maggie do EVERYTHING for me for set up, it was nice to be able to pop out there once in awhile to answer questions or just to see how everything is looking! Now to talk about our wonderful wedding planner Maggie. Having a wedding planner was 100% worth it. Having her being the correspondent with all the vendors and not have it be anybody in the wedding party made the day enjoyable for everyone. I felt so confident in Maggie and she would make everything look perfect. She was also able to keep the ceremony and reception moving and super organized. I could tell Maggie just wanted to make sure my husband and I were taken care of, by giving us a plate of appetizers right after the ceremony to make sure we eat something, to following us around during photos with drinks was so thoughtful and considerate. I recommend this venue to anybody looking for an amazing venue and great staff and so thankful I found this venue and will never forget all the staff that made my day perfect.

Our review for The Harper could not be more glowing, but it requires a bit of a story for us to adequately convey how wonderful it was. Here goes:
We originally had our wedding scheduled to be at a prominent and well-known garden in Pittsburgh. We always dreamed of an outdoor wedding, and we were extra excited because our prior venue happened to be very close-in to the city which made it a breeze for our out-of-town guests to attend. Well, this first venue was nothing short of challenging to work with. They fought us on every decision we wanted to make, were unwilling to help us make our vision come to life, and their in-house catering team made things nearly impossible for the vegans we had attending (about 40% of our guest list). When we decided that we weren't willing to deal with our initial venue's shortcomings anymore, we were scrambling to find a venue we loved as much.
Then, someone on Facebook has mentioned The Harper – they said is was brand new, beautiful, and the owner was wonderful. The only downside: it's in Meadville. When we saw the pictures online, we were hooked. The Harper has it all: a beautiful, open, modern inside space, as well as a stunning outdoor ceremony and veranda area. After talking to the owner of The Harper, we were even more hooked. Hearing that she had built this entire venue from a wedding planners' lens made it more attractive than before. Every single detail of the venue was just perfect. And perhaps my favorite part of the venue is that you get to work with the vendors of YOUR choosing, so your wedding day can really be exactly as you dreamed it would be. We quickly got over the fact that the venue is far away from the city and arranged accommodations for our guests, and it was absolutely worth the effort.
Since we are an out-of-town couple from Portland, Oregon, planning our wedding site-unseen required a some extra calls, texts, and emails sent back-and-forth with The Harper. At every step of the process, Natasha and her team made me feel confident, and they were SO accommodating and helpful. Having our event at The Harper made me feel like I was the only bride on the planet, instead of just a standard customer. The experience working with The Harper is so tailored to your vision that, to them – for that day, you really are the only bride on the planet.
My family warned me repeatedly, "Something will go wrong on your wedding day, so just take a deep breath and relax." I was just about the most relaxed person ever on my wedding day, so I didn't know exactly where this was coming from, but then I started to understand...
My family had no idea how detailed our planning process was, and how aligned Natasha and her team were with our vision. When I say that our wedding day had no hiccups, it really had no hiccups. The layout of The Harper was so perfectly designed that all our vendors felt secure in their needs, our guests had plenty of space to move around, and the flow of the wedding was easy to coordinate. The architecture of the space is stunning, and the clean white, black, and grey lines seen in the venue make sure that everyone's vision is a clean slate. There are no two weddings at The Harper that look the same.
Our wedding was the day of our dreams. Without The Harper, our vision for the wedding would not have been realized. We are forever grateful to have gotten married in THE MOST BEAUTIFUL venue in all of western PA.
In my 13 years of planning, designing, and executing weddings (many of them across the US and overseas at luxury venues and hotels) I have never worked with a more accommodating and generous venue and staff than that of The Harper Event Venue. I've also never executed an event in a place that is so thoughtful of the nuances that a wedding vendor like myself (primarily a designer and florist) has to overcome event after event. And what a treat that was! I can say without any hesitation that our client’s event would not have unfolded the way it did had it taken place elsewhere.
From the very beginning of our working relationship in the fall of 2021 just seven months shy of our mutual client's wedding date, Natasha and her team were beyond eager to help me and mine, always happy to accommodate our needs as an out of state vendor team, and never anything less than friendly and excited to work with us. I also know this was the same treatment our bride and groom experienced in their correspondences which as a result put them at ease leading up to their special day.
Natasha, like her team, is one of a kind; hardworking, dedicated, and selfless. You can actually HEAR her smile when you speak with her on the phone. From daily check ins with our team the week we were in town for our client's event, personally being present at the venue for us each day we worked on site to manage our installations, and even being there at the end of the event with a broom in her hand to clean up alongside our team, we had tremendous trust in her every step of the way and knew any problems encountered would be smoothed over because of her.
And if that weren’t enough incentive to host your event at The Harper: the venue itself is so polished and clean. The architecture of the space is thoughtful and very much a blank canvas for your greatest design dreams and designs. Diffusers were tucked into the bathrooms and bridal suite making for a pleasant scent anywhere you turn. Tupperware of clean rags and even feminine toiletries were offered to use, if we needed them, in the venue's storage closet. The lights are on dimmers. There are portable heaters on the patio so you know, you don’t need to rent those when it’s cold. Outlets are in places where you actually need power! The venue is truly as GOOD as it looks. And again, I've seen many,
The only part of working with Natasha and executing an event at The Harper that feels unfortunate is that we are separated by nearly 500 miles. What a treat to have a wedding under my belt and eventually in my portfolio that's against the backdrop of this space. Make a wise move and book this space for one of the most special days of your life. You will not regret it!

The Harper Event Venue was the venue of my dreams for my wedding in November!! The bridal suite added the perfect getaway for the girls before the ceremony and the space was to die for! We had to opt for an inside ceremony and it was gorgeous. The layout allowed for minimal things to be moved and it was so spacious for 150+ guests! The details of the venue was just unmatched, it truly allowed for a unique wedding and the guests are still talking about it.
I opted in for using the coordinator, Maggie, and she was unbelievable!! She kept me calm during the whole process and answered every silly question! She handled all the vendors with elegance and even held my dress during outside photos to avoid it getting dirty. If you are hesitant about booking a coordinator through the Harper… just do it!!

Being an event planner I have worked in many venues, and I can honestly say that The Harper is by far the most aesthetically pleasing space that the Pittsburgh/Erie region has to offer. As an experienced wedding professional, the owner, Natasha, did an exceptional job at not only conceiving an impeccably designed space, but also putting logistical thought into every aspect of this venue. From the indoor/outdoor options, to the spacious (and gorgeous!) bridal suite, easy load in/out, and large catering kitchen, this venue is a dream for clients and vendors alike. The whole experience with the Harper and it's team has been truly wonderful. Aside from the beautiful space and backdrop which the venue provides, the coordination services provided by Maggie and her team were outstanding. I can't imagine how things would have turned out had we not taken advantage of the month of/ day of coordination services. We had a few hiccups, but everything ran smoothly because of the hard work Maggie and her team put in. We have had family, friends, and neighbors, reaching out daily, following up after the wedding - two things are consistent in every conversation: "the venue was beautiful" & "Maggie is awesome". There are no words to describe how beautiful this venue is. It rained on our weeding day, so we were forced to have the ceremony inside but it was still the most prefect and beautiful ceremony. Natasha is SO helpful and responsive! She even had the venue ready a day ahead of schedule for us. I couldn't image getting married anywhere else.
It is truly difficult to put into words how AMAZING of an experience we had having our wedding and reception at The Harper. My husband and I booked with Natasha before the venue was built! From the moment we booked with The Harper, Natasha was very responsive with any questions we had and her vendor recommendations were on point. Everything about this venue is well thought out, the Bridal Suite was perfect for getting ready in. Our pictures that came from this location were truly breathtaking. The outdoor space has so many opportunities for gorgeous photos ops. Our guests had fun walking around and looking at all the scenery.
We had a dream location, but even better Natasha has a dream team. Our coordinator Maggie really helped make our day perfect. Maggie made sure we had every detail covered down to the way the napkins were folded on our tables. Everything was taken care of. I walked in the morning of the wedding shocked that they had already gotten the tables and decorations up and put where we wanted. I did not have to lift a finger! Maggie and her team went above and beyond making our day move seamlessly. With her coordinating, my husband and I got to enjoy the day celebrating our love with our families knowing that Maggie was handling everything else. We cannot thank The Harper and Maggie enough, we truly had the best day of our lives.
There truly are not enough positive adjectives to describe how AMAZING our experience at The Harper was. First of all, the venue obviously speaks for itself. Natasha has exquisite taste and high attention to detail, making this one of the most unique and stunning locations in our area (and literally anywhere else, let's be honest). As the bride, my #1 question was always "how's it going, are you stressed?!" Honestly, from day one, there was never a doubt in my mind that Natasha and her Event Coordinating team wouldn't be able to make our day run smoothly. Before confirming our date, I asked Natasha "Okay, are you sure we can plan a wedding in three months?" She said "Oh, 100%. Totally. We got this!" Rest assured everyone, Natasha and her Event Coordinating team do in fact, got it! One of the event coordinators, Maggie, made our wedding day flow so well, almost effortlessly. Always with the biggest, most genuine smile on her face, ready to help however she could. We appreciated the passion and assertiveness throughout, and wouldn't change a single thing about our wedding day. Natasha has the sweetest soul and I promise that you will not be disappointed with your experience. She truly is one of a kind, just like The Harper!
The Harper was our absolute dream wedding venue!! Our theme was simple elegance and the venue tied into this seamlessly. We actually booked the venue before it was entirely built because of the trust we had in Natasha (the owner). We hired her to be our coordinator and let me tell you— her and her team are absolutely incredible!! Our weekend was flawless from start to finish. On Friday, we had our rehearsal and rehearsal dinner at The Harper. The tables and chairs were set up on the outdoor veranda for a different setting than our wedding. It was gorgeous to eat outdoors and have the lake as our view. The next day was our wedding day. We started with hair and make up early in the morning. The room is beautiful and perfect for a bridal party. We were able to set up breakfast and lunch in the room as well. A huge selling point for me was the private bathroom in the bridal suite. This ensured that no one would see us prior to the ceremony. Our ceremony was held outside and our reception was held inside. It was pouring rain all day, but I had my heart set on the outdoor space for our ceremony. Somehow, right before, it stopped raining! The team dried off the entire space and had everything ready to go. I loved the French doors that opened and the walk down to the alter. After the ceremony, we had cocktail hour which our guests loved! The garage doors were able to be opened and guests could access the bar from either side. For the reception, everything was stunning. We were provided a layout ahead of time and were able to tweak it as we pleased. Our guests continue to talk about how our wedding was the best wedding they have ever been to. I could say a million positive things, but all in all, this was our absolute dream wedding. We are so thankful that we chose to celebrate our day at The Harper!
