I can’t say enough wonderful things about our wedding at The Henry. Every aspect of it was perfect under the guidance of our event manager, Brittany Zabinski. She was absolutely wonderful to work with and made a huge difference in helping our wedding be as amazing as it was.
The Henry was a fantastic venue, as it was truly full service-from the hotel rooms for our guests, to the ceremony, to the reception, to the brunch the next day. Everything was beautiful, but more importantly, was handled with care and kindness. The entire event staff went above and beyond with their friendliness and attention to detail. It was truly a perfect weekend.

The Henry was amazingly accommodating to us when we set up a room block and stayed there for our wedding. They made everything very easy and were very communicative throughout the entire process. We highly recommend this beautiful location for anyone traveling or hosting a wedding block in the Southeast Michigan region.

The Henry was everything I could've imagined for my wedding. They were so easy to work with and made the whole experience as easy as planning a wedding can be. I got so many compliments about the venue and the food. The staff was easy to work with and did everything they could to make your day everything you wanted. I would recommend this venue to anyone!!!!

The Henry was an AMAZING venue. The food was absolutely outstanding and we have had guests still complimenting us on how amazing it was months later. The actual venue is beautiful and well kept, the presidential suite is outstanding as well for the bride & groom, and the staff is absolutely amazing! They took such great care of us and made sure we were 100% taken care of.

Henry made the wedding celebration the best day of life for the bride, groom, and our family. The Henry staff was very cooperative and really helped us enjoy the event. The Henry staff was very cooperative with the food, decor, and dessert vendors and ensured that the whole event went smoothly. The Henry has one of the best ballrooms for hosting an event of this size and magnitude.

when we wanted a large, elegant wedding, we knew the henry was the place for us. having been renamed from the ritz carlton to the henry did not change the level of service, hospitality and attention to detail the team provides. the onsite coordinators were wonderful and the chef tailored the food to exactly what we were looking for. the henry's team also communicated changes, pricing, logistics, every step of the way. we can't recommend them more highly!

The team at the Henry is top notch. Brooke was wonderful working with my special requests. The team was attentive and service was impeccable. I was able to enjoy my night without worrying that anything was going to go wrong. I heard so many compliments from our guests on the food as well. We hosted brunch the next day and everything was delicious and on time.

We are so grateful for choosing The Henry to host our wedding reception! What a wonderful place for an elegant evening with our favorite people. The staff all the way through was excellent. We received so many compliments on how friendly, efficient and professional the wait staff was all evening! Brooke, our coordinator, was amazing. Any question, change, moment of panic she faced with confidence and kindness. The evening went beautifully! The food was also great. This all goes without mentioning how beautiful the venue is. So much beautiful art surrounds the entire hotel, which has been modernized with maintained much of the authentic character of the original building. We highly recommend having your wedding with The Henry, Autograph Collection!

When you buy a home, often “it’s location, location, location” that factors into your buying decision. Well, it was absolutely the beauty of The Henry Autograph Collection for me, as well as the location!! It’s absolutely stunning with the luxury decor and artwork, which added to our guests experience. The bridal suite is spacious and beautiful for your getting ready photos and wedding night suite. The staff is friendly and The food at their restaurant is delicious (get the steak!). As far as the planning process, I worked with Laura at first and then Pam DeYoung took over our event. She was so nice to work with and responsive to all of my emails and questions. Our wedding was on a Sunday and The Henry offers perks for off-peak days which I definitely recommend looking into. From our private tasting and in-person meetings, to how organized and flexible Pam and her team were, I can’t recommend The Henry enough. There was another wedding reception going on in the ballroom next to ours but it didn’t cause any issues at all because of the separation. Photography can get a little tricky because the main “gallery hallway” is where all of the guest traffic and elevators are, but it’s the “money shot” so just be patient. Our photographers and videographers didn’t seem to have an issue with it. All of our guests couldn’t believe this venue was right under their nose this whole time and they hadn’t been before. I know for sure that The Henry will see future hotel, restaurant and event reservations from the guests that attended our wedding. I’m so thankful that Covid didn’t put a wrench in our September 2021 wedding. We invited 140 guests and encouraged masks regardless of vaccination status. Everyone had a safe, great time and this venue was worth every penny (and it’s not as expensive as it LOOKS). Thank you for an amazing wedding and experience!

The staff of The Henry Hotel was amazing and far exceeded our expectations for my daughters wedding. Postponed a year due to the pandemic - the hotel was very prepared to execute our event flawlessly.
So many people played a significant role including our Salesperson Kari Honomichl, our event coordinator Pam DeYoung and Willie Hatcher and the setup team. I could name many more, but I'm limited by the number of characters I can type.
I should also mention the outstanding food that was provided by the Executive Chef and culinary team, as well the professional ladies and gentlemen that served us. We didn't have to ask for anything - they were always right there with what we needed before we could even ask for it. On top of everything - the hotel General Manager, Alan Osborne was there checking on us and supporting his team! Having worked in the hospitality industry myself for 40 years, I can assure you that this doesn't happen in most hotels.
To summarize - it was a fantastic night. If you have the chance - book this hotel for your wedding. Thanks again to everyone at the Henry for creating a memory that we will never forget!

Beautiful location with really bad management. I was in love with the venue the moment I walked in and everything went very smoothly till the day of my event when our buffet dinner was removed 15 mins early without any notice and all the food thrown leaving nearly 30 guests unfed including the bride and the groom. That was still not the worse part of our event there. When we requested to speak with their team due to some discrepancy in our bill, there was no follow up and 2 months later when we finally heard back from someone , their reply was the most unprofessional email i have read, let alone they are from the hospitality industry. It sounded like my entire event was a charity and i could sustain it only because of their generosity. My only suggestion is to not go by just the looks of the venue but an overall experience. Would not recommend this place even to my enemy. I have hosted nearly 30 events at different venues and this has been the most upsetting experience with a venue I have had.

Not only was this venue absolutely beautiful, but the service was amazing. The Henry was my number one dream choice for our wedding reception, but we decided to have the ceremony here as well! From the beautiful artwork in the hallways to the gorgeous chandeliers, the stage is set for a beautiful night and perfect photography. The Henry is perfect for a timeless wedding.
We worked with Pam D. who was so wonderful! She went above and beyond in so many ways (including going to the store for more beer when we ran out). Pam managed to meet with us in person multiple times and was always just an email away.
Our food was delicious and the appetizers were so creative! The entire wait-staff were so wonderful and attentive.
I cannot recommend The Henry or Pam enough! I'd give them six stars if I could! Thank you for everything Henry staff! <3

We had such a great experience working with The Henry as our wedding venue. It was so easy to contact them and they were always quick to respond with any questions we had about our reception, even willing to meet in person as much as we needed! Our night went soo smooth and The Henry coordinator, Brooke, was amazing at making sure everything went as planned. The service during our reception was phenomenal, and our guests noticed. From our thorough food tasting, thoughtful welcome card when we checked in, to our send-off brunch, we are so happy with our decision to book our wedding reception with The Henry!

We celebrated our daughter's wedding on May 4 and 5, 2019 at The Henry.
We looked around the Detroit area for a suitable venue settled on the Henry due its majestic appearance, very nice facilities and superb support staff.
Signing the contract was rather easy and Kari, H., helped us with it. The terms were plain and simple and there were no hidden costs. The hotel provided with a list of prospective vendors for every kind of services one would require. We hired an Event Coordinator for the day of the wedding who worked with the hotel management and did not have any problem.
We had the Mehndi on May 4 and the wedding and reception on May 5. The hotel management was very flexible with the catering aspects. They allowed us to have authentic Indian food delivered by Aroma and service charges for food and drinks were very reasonable. Food was available late into the evening (until midnight) on both days .
Overall we were very happy with the hotel management and the support staff. They certainly made it possible for us to enjoy the wedding .
I would certainly recommend the Henry for weddings in general, and East Indian Weddings in particular.

The Henry was simply fantastic! Pam, our Henry manager, was very friendly, accommodating, and was there every step of the way to make us feel comfortable. The Henry itself is beautiful--the ballrooms, wine wall and fireplace by the restaurant, art hallway, and guest rooms were all the perfect blend of modern and classic aesthetics, which fit us well. The wait staff were very professional and eager to please and help of guests. We wanted a special brand of wine to be served at our wedding, some varietals she could get from her distributor and others she couldn't. With the help of Pam, it was not a problem at all to source directly from the winemaker what we needed. All of our guests enjoyed themselves and we didn't have a single worry on our wedding day, all thanks to the Henry and Pam!

We held our wedding reception at The Henry this past Saturday (10/27/18) and everything was absolutely wonderful. Our coordinator (Pam) was incredibly helpful throughout the whole process. On the night of the wedding, we also had our banquet coordinator Sheri, who was there whenever you we needed anything! Everyone had a great time, and the food was delicious. We couldn’t have asked for a better venue to host our wedding. It was elegant, the staff extremely friendly, the food was fantastic, and it was overall a wonderful experience working with the Henry. Our guests continue to rave about everything from the decor to the food. Brooke was our coordinator at the Henry and she went above and beyond to help us make this event spectacular. She was so patient with all of the questions we continually had and she made sure everything ran smoothly. We had one minor hiccup the night before when we thought we had reserved a room for the rehearsal only to find out there wasn’t one available. The staff at the Henry quickly resolved it and provided us a room. One of the coordinators at the Henry even offered to help us coordinate our rehearsal when we found out the day of coordinator we hired wasn’t going to come. If I could give the Henry 10 stars I would. I highly recommend using the Henry as a wedding venue. I’d love to have another event with them.

We could not have asked for a better experience with The Henry!! From the moment we met with a sales coordinator, we felt more than comfortable and knew we wanted our wedding reception in the Presidential Ballroom! We worked with Brooke- who went above and beyond to meet all of our requests and needs. From the event planning, to the set up, the service to the room blocks, all around the most professional and caring staff! We had the pleasure of celebrating our daughter's wedding at The Henry, Autograph Collection hotel in May 2018. We were extremely happy with our Event Manager. She was on top of things, very organized, extremely helpful and accommodating. She was an absolute pleasure to work with. Her work ethic, professionalism, and competence were outstanding and made for a great experience at the hotel, not only for us, but for our whole family and our guests.Everything from room accommodations, hotel service, party and ballroom set-up and service, were top quality, all under her attention and supervision. The ballroom looked amazing and the food was delicious. Any unanticipated issues that came up were dealt with quickly and fairly. The entire staff involved in our stay and party were great. We would strongly recommend the hotel to anyone planning a stay or a party there. Thanks for the great memories!

Having made a wedding for my son 6 months prior at another hotel, I truly can make the comparison. Let me say, there really is none! The Henry was far superior in every facet, from beginning to end. Treated like their most important client, the staff at the Henry was constantly trying to make us happy every step of the way. Our guests still talk about the wedding and how perfect everything was. We were especially thrilled that the food was so delicious and well received. Often, large banquet kitchens lose the quality along the way. However, this certainly was not the case at The Henry. Plus, the value for what you pay and what you receive is extremely fair. They try not to nickel and dime you like other venues. The Henry would be our first choice anytime we would be planning a special event!

Chef Bill is amazing and the food at this venue will definitely wow your guests.
We had to switch event coordinators part way through the planning process which I believe may have contributed to some communication errors about things we were previously were informed and had then changed.
There was another event they booked into our contracted set up time which forced our vendors to hire more staff and charge us extra set up fees. Additionally, it caused delays in all of the details being set up and guests standing around.
The venue is BEAUTIFUL and makes for great photos.
The room block for easy for guests to access. The staff were very friendly. The hotel rooms were gorgeous and comfortable.

We booked a block of rooms at The Henry, Autograph Collection for our wedding, and we were able to host 65 of our guests in such a beautiful space. We were seriously lucky, because not only was it the cheapest hotel in Dearborn... it was the nicest. By far. While we did hear that there were long hold times to reserve a room, it's possible to book online, and the coordinator we worked with (Ivana Cessante) was unbelievably helpful. The Henry also has great gathering spaces, and our family and friends were able to spend time together in the lobby, enjoying each other's company and snacks served by TRIA.
P.S. - If you're getting ready for your wedding here, I would 100% recommend the suites! They're HUGE, have two bathrooms, and they're so accommodating for big groups of people.

Our wedding was a little over a month ago, 3.3.18, & I am still in awe of the amazing experience we had at the Henry. The venue is very unique (an art gallery operates out of the hotel) – and the event spaces are beautiful! We hosted our cocktail hour in the Gallery Room and our dinner & dancing in the Plaza Ballroom. Both spaces are beautifully appointed & very little needs to be done with regards to décor/floral to make them special for your event.
But more importantly, I want to comment on the wonderful customer service we received from the Henry staff every step of the way. (I would like to point out that I have spent the majority of my career working for a luxury hotel in downtown Chicago – so I can recognize when a hotel is doing it right – and the Henry clearly is!) Our first warm impression of the Henry was from working with our Catering Sales Manager, Laura Bolduc, who was knowledgeable and quick & kind to answer all of our many questions. Once we signed the contract, the turnover from Sales to our Event Manager, Keri Douglass, was incredibly seamless.
There are not enough positive words out there to describe how wonderful Keri was to work with. We feel that she genuinely, deeply cared about ensuring that we had the best wedding ever. Keri worked hard to make the process of planning a wedding out of state painless & fun for us. She clearly communicated all of our wedding weekend details out to the rest of the staff at Henry to set them up for a success & to guarantee a very happy bride and groom. When we returned to our bridal suite after our reception, among a bunch of goodies & rose petals from the hotel – Keri had thoughtfully ordered us a personalized frame of two hearts made of maps from Detroit and Chicago (where we live) that tied into our travel themed wedding. Definition of a sweetheart. I am now a professional event planner, & I sincerely hope that I have the opportunity to work with Keri again in my professional life.
On the week of our wedding, I was introduced to Dana, the Banquet Captain, who oversaw the banquet staff & our dinner service. I sincerely appreciate the time she took to meet with me & run through the details of our wedding.
I also want to highlight the efforts & talents of Chef Bill and his team. Chef Bill graciously accommodated our travel schedule & conducted our tasting the week between Christmas & NYE when we were in Michigan. We sincerely appreciate how accommodating he was – not to mention the food & presentation is amazing!! We’ve received several compliments on the food. Everyone says that you don’t get a chance to eat at your own wedding – but after our tasting we made it a point to sit & down eat because the food is that good.
Last, but certainly not least – the bartenders, front desk staff, & bell staff at the Henry are all wonderful as well. Every staff member we encountered genuinely shared in our excitement & we felt like they were celebrating right along with us.
We had a 180 person wedding in the smaller of the Henry’s 2 ballrooms. Considering they have a large ballroom that can accommodate a wedding of 800, I realize that we were a small fish in a big pond for the Henry from a revenue standpoint. However, we were never made to feel like that at all, ever – in fact, we felt like we were the ONLY fish in the pond throughout the entire process and especially on our wedding weekend. Thank you to the Henry for making us feel so special on the most special day of our lives!

We had our wedding in the Gallery on 2/3/2018. The wedding was small, but at The Henry, we felt like royalty. Our guest loved everything about The Henry . The hotel is intimate, classy, and elegant. Every detail was taken care of thanks to our event planner Ivana Cessante with Madelyn Moore. We must mention the wonderful waitstaff directed by Linda, Chef who crafted our delicious menu, Dan the bartender, the kind and friendly door man and staff, the front desk staff, and countless others behind the scenes. This venue is A+++

The venue itself was beautiful.
The day of the wedding, our reception staff and our chef were wonderful - the food was good and they were very accommodating.
However, the rest of the staff at The Henry is very unprofessional. They didn't have a single person on staff the day of our rehearsal and the room had leftover food and drink from the previous event, plus garbage all over the floor. Our event manager made us promises through the planning process she could not keep. Namely, the other wedding's cocktail hour was at the same time as ours, which resulted in their guests coming over to our bar, and walking through our cocktail hour. We also heard multiple complaints from guests that the front desk staff was rude, absent, or slow.
I would not recommend this as a wedding venue - you only get married once and the process is stressful enough without having a venue who is only passively interested in making sure your event is successful.

Overall our wedding was gorgeous, the food was FANTASTIC and the venue was beautiful! Our Event Coordinator Brooke P. was wonderful and bent over backwards with anything we requested. The day of communication could have been better and the venue was not as organized as I would have liked. Specifically, our pictures and having a place to take them was a bit of a mess. Despite the few day of problems that we had, I would get married at the Henry all over again!

The Henry was the perfect venue for our elegant reception. Our reception was held in the Plaza Ballroom, the same room my parents held their wedding 25 years ago. Guests raved about the food and service. In addition, the event manager Jordan was exceptional. He was extremely helpful in the planning process and the day of the wedding. The venue is beautiful! Our ceremony and reception were held in the hotel, and although we didn’t have a huge wedding the hotel staff was very accommodating and made us feel special, particularly the bellmen, banquet staff, and the front desk staff.
Our Event Manager, Lauren Rodriguez, was attentive to our needs and details, friendly, and a genuine pleasure to work with throughout the planning process.
The food was delicious at the tasting and was just as delicious at the reception. There was a little hiccup in serving a couple of specialty meals, but the issue was addressed and corrected quickly.
Overall, we were very happy with our wedding at The Henry and I recommend it highly for a wedding or other event.

The Venue is beautiful! The staff is extremely helpful and professional! They made the day extra special and any problems that happened they handled immediately. The wedding coordinator was fantastic and helped me with all my questions and concerns.

Wow this hotel is amazing and the staff is even better. The venue is beautiful and the staff is very accommodating. Stayed in presidential suite, which is a must. Parents were upgraded to the governor's suite when their room was not ready the friday before the wedding weekend. Food was phenomenal and service was 5 star. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!

The Henry was amazing. The service was by far the best I have received in any hotel. They accommodated my parents and I in every way possible. We stayed in the Presidential suite which was phenomenal and there was flowers and chocolates waiting for us upon arrival. They brought up fridges for us to store the after wedding snacks and all of our beverages. My husband and my suite was beautiful with chocolate covered strawberries waiting for us. I truly can't write enough amazing things this hotel provided for us.

My husband and I got married at The Henry on New Year’s Eve (12-31-13) and it was my dream wedding come true! We worked with Jessica Rayborn on rooming (since we had a TON of out-of-town and overnight guests) and she was fantastic, and Laura Bolduc on EVERYTHING else and she was wonderful.
Everyone on staff at The Henry were true professionals and this is NOT their first rodeo, so they listened to what we wanted and what our vision was for our gorgeous wedding and also helped us with everything from the best place to position the dance floor to the best food combinations.
We were the only event at the hotel that night, so we got the personalized, individual attention we needed and our guests raved about how gorgeous the hotel was (it is stunning)! They accommodated my grandmother (who is in a wheelchair) to all my little cousins, and had gorgeous suites for our parents and a FABULOUS bridal suite for us – my girls and I got ready in there with our “glam squad” and had plenty of room to spread out!
At first, my husband and I thought The Henry would be out of our price range, but they really worked with us and after we had looked at a couple other Dearborn options, they were able to beat their price! Thank you to The Henry and the entire staff!

I loved the location and the hotel, the staff was so rude I could not believe it. Save yourself the trouble and do not have your wedding here. I was made promises by my Event Manager and they were broken numerous times. Staff was very unprofessional.

The Henry put on quite a gorgeous wedding. They were well organized and kept the wedding on task. There were only a few things that went wrong.. When we had our tasting the sauce names were mixed up by the manager. We ordered a sauce with mushrooms in it and when the filets were delivered at the actual wedding, the sauce we wanted was not on them. The manager we worked with was also a little scatter brained and it took a few emails back and forth for the seating plan, and main event document to be perfect. It was really great having the hotel connected so our guests did not have to worry about finding a ride home. We received many compliments on every aspect of the hall.One thing that everyone should know when looking at the Henry is they have a food and beverage minimum of $35,000 so if you are not planning on having more than 300 people, it maybe hard to meet the minimum.

I had my reception at this cite and the bakery did my cake. My overall experience was great. The food was great as well as the cake. The only negative thing about this venue was limited in certain offerings such as the beer selection. They did provide us with many incentives that made it an easy pic. The building decor itself is a great back drop for pictures and most of the people that work there are amazing. The restaurant Tria is also delicious, which made for a tasty and much need brunch the following morning. A lot of noticeable details that made our wedding weekend fantastic.

As a wedding coordinator, I attend a lot of weddings and visit a lot of venues. I worked with my clients on selecting their location. We met with quite a few other facilities but knew we found THE PLACE when we met with Todd at the Henry. His willingness to make my couple happy was clear from the moment we met with him until the end of the evening. The wait staff was beyond phenomenal. They were genuine and professional. I can't wait to plan another event at the Henry and work with Todd Peplinski.

Every aspect of our day at The Henry was outstanding! Each member of the staff greeted us warmly, as we entered the lobby and made our way to the ballroom. The candles, chandeliers, and tasteful décor of the ballroom created a magical ambiance. Several guests used the phase “fairytale.” The service at the head table was of such a high caliber I felt compelled to ask other guests if they had a similar experience; everyone gushed! The food was phenomenal as well as the dessert station. Everything was prepared and executed flawlessly. I couldn’t recommend The Henry more highly.

The venue is perfect, you can't get a more beautiful place but the staff was a bit unorganized and arrogant at times.
