My husband and I got married at the Henry Smith House, on 3/15/25. We also booked their accommodations so we could stay all weekend. There was a storm surge all day Saturday, a level 4 threat across Louisiana and Mississippi. Not once did I have to stress about the weather because Dustin and his team took care of everything. On top of the weather, some personal matters delayed our reception for my husband and I. Dustin and Gabe were very understanding and accommodating to us. I could not have wished for better coordinators, and a better wedding venue. Thursday night before the rehearsal dinner, I realized I did not have placements cards for the tables. When we arrived at the venue I was in disbelief of not only how beautiful everything was; but the coordinators took it upon themselves to write the placement cards for me. Each and every encounter, leading up to the wedding, was wonderful. Not only is the venue absolutely stunning, Dustin and Gabe are so fun to work with. If you are a bride who hates DIY and planning decor/timelines, booking with the Henry Smith House will save you all of the time and energy. The only thing I had to worry about was our signs, pictures/frames, our party favors and working with our other vendors leading up to the big day. Dustin and his team were phenomenal, and absolutely blew me away with how beautiful everything turned out. It was obvious how much Dustin and Gabe love what they do, and care about their work, they are very talented. The landscape was beautiful, the staff was wonderful all weekend long, and the food was amazing. The Henry Smith House was an absolute dream, and I could not thank them enough for how amazing and stress free our weekend was. You will not regret booking the Henry Smith House, the beautiful property and the wonderful staff are absolutely worth every penny.
My granddaughter selected this venue even though I strongly objected to it. The staff at Henry Smith House totally misled us about what they would provide for a July wedding. I was very concerned about the heat since the rehearsal and dinner, wedding, and reception were all outside. We were told that they have many weddings there in the summer and no one has ever complained of the heat because they have many fans and even some outdoor air conditioning units they could place around the area being used. People were almost passing out at the rehearsal since there was ONE fan. At the wedding there may have been one or two fans which were totally inadequate. People left early due to the extreme heat. When I asked the staff about this they said, "that's why we only have one or two weddings a year in the summer." Initially I was told they are extremely busy in the summer and never had any complaints about the heat.
The wedding was a package deal which included a wedding cake. We also paid for a floral cake top. There was no cake top provided as agreed, The bride's bouquet was not what she ordered and had to be sent back to be fixed up and was still not as requested. We purchased two large arrangements for the ceremony. The flowers were beautiful but the staff had not been informed to move the flowers to the reception area after the wedding and to move them inside to the honeymoon suite after the guests left.
I don't know who was in charge of the food, but we sat waiting in the reception area for an hour after the ceremony ended before we were served our meal. The help were not trained despite our being told they had an excellent group that was well trained and had been with them a long time. They had to keep asking the bride what to do next. The bride and groom were told they were to have a private dinner inside the house, but the food never came and the couple wasted time waiting for that. When the bride and groom returned to the reception, staff began serving from the back of the room and served the bride and groom last. The food was cold. They also cut and served the cake top layer first and did not save it for the couple to have on their first anniversary which is custom.
The bride and groom intended to spend their first night on the property in the honeymoon suite, but there were no sheets on the bed and no towels or soap. The bride and groom had to stay upstairs where we had stayed the night before. Upstairs rooms also had dead bugs in tubs and water smelled horrible. Our toilet was broken and we had to get someone to repair it. Couple had to dig around in a supply closet for soap. It amazed me that no one thought to do a walk through before guests came, especially since it had been a month since the house last had guests stay.
I don't blame the staff for this disaster. The owner decided at the last minute to go out of town. He did not inform us at all that he would not be there and we only found out when we arrived. Extremely unprofessional. His assistant did not have enough information from him about our discussions regarding the wedding and reception. They kept apologizing for all the shortcomings and did their best to meet our needs. We were told they would make it up to us, and we haven't heard anything from them. They simply are not equipped to handle a wedding at their property.
We toured many venues before The Henry Smith House. As soon as we got there, my daughter knew this was âthe one.â The owner Dustin is amazing and so easy to work with. He personally makes sure every detail is perfect. The flowers, decorations, and food were amazing. The coordinator Hailey is so professional and the staff was fantastic. I would totally recommend this venue to anyone looking for the perfect setting for the wedding of their dreams.
You will never find another team as dedicated to fulfilling your vision as HSH. They work above and beyond to provide the most magical experience with the easiest process for planning and decision making. If you love vintage glam, this is the place for you. Also highly recommend booking out the accommodations and doing your rehearsal dinner here! The food is phenomenal!
I donât think that I could possibly recommend the Henry Smith House enough. The first time we saw it was at the end of a long weekend spent touring venues and discussing wedding plans. It was the last venue we saw, and we immediately knew that we had found the right place.
The venue itself is gorgeous, full of intricate details and fantastic design work. Then the grounds themselves are full of flowers, pathways, and beautiful, romantic spots. But of course, what really sold the venue was our meeting with Dustin. As the owner and the venueâs planner, heâs truly the star of the show. Every vendor that he recommended was wonderful and the design work that he did was exactly what we had discussed, plus some. Because heâs worked the space hundreds of times and most of his vendors are familiar with it as well, the entire process is much smoother and more streamlined than I image it would be elsewhere.
The rest of his staff is just as wonderful, going out of their way to communicate and make sure the event runs smoothly. The day of the wedding was forecast to have severe thunder storms, but we were able to push the wedding back with little to no headache on our end. I can only imagine the last minute planning and set-up that this entailed for the staff, but they made it all seem stress free for us, even as we were getting ready in the wonderful houses on the property.
Even as it rained on and off, Dustin and Hailey organized everything perfectly, and the entire event went off without a hitch. It was a magnificent night, made possible by the whole staff of the Henry smith house đ
This venue is only as fabulous as it's staff! The beauty and warmth of the buildings and grounds cannot be denied though. Every detail works to create an atmosphere of luxury and care. The personalization of those details to the individual bride, groom, and wedding party is perfection. The food for the Rehearsal Dinner and Wedding Reception was delicious, the flowers gorgeous, even the weather cooperated! Dustin and his staff are first-rate, but with a family feel that makes you feel welcomed and appreciated.
The cakes from KatyCake & Co in Picayune were extraordinary in taste and design - I sincerely miss them!!
We had a lovely weekend wedding experience that will never be forgotten!
A venue of endless possibilities. I was recently privileged with the opportunity to attend a wedding and experience all the amenities available at The Henry Smith House. Dustin and his staff went above and beyond to ensure that all details were completed to perfection. Everything was flawless, from the rehearsal dinner on site, bridal party pampering, the vows and reception. I cannot overlook the food, it was mouthwatering and everything was prepared on site. Our room was so romantic. The quiet and peaceful surroundings give the perception of tranquility. This picturesque venue is versatile and can accommodate anything from formal and elegant to a more casual ambiance. Words cannot fully describe the endless possibilities this venue can accommodate. Call Dustin and schedule a visit, you will not be disappointed.
I do not know where to begin, from the moment I walked into the venue I fell in love. Dustin and his staff went way and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. The rehearsal dinner was sweet and romantic atmosphere, the menu was a hit with the guests. Some of my bridal party, my husband and I stayed at the house for the weekend, our stay was wonderful. The rooms are beautiful, and the bridal suite was perfect, loved the bed and the tub in the room. It was nice to be able to wake up the morning of the wedding and not have to rush somewhere. My wedding was more than I ever dreamt. I wanted to keep it simple and elegant, Dustin made sure of that. All the guests had a wonderful time, fell in love with the ambiance and thought the food was delicious. I am even trying to come up with a reason to have another event at the venue because we all had a great time.
As parents of the groom, we hosted a Friday night rehearsal dinner at The Henry Smith House, the day after Thanksgiving. It was a smashing success, thanks to owner/hands-on manager Dustin Castrinos and his team. Here are some things you might want to know about their venue and service:
--HSH can host your event open-air or covered in a fantastic pavilion. That worked great for us because we had planned a greeting party on the manicured lawn followed by dinner on the patio by the chapel. But a few days before, the forecast became clear: rain. No problem; Dustin switched both events to the pavilion and they went off great.
--The pavilion adjacent to the historic HSH is really a great facility. It's open, but in the cold heaters are available and in the heat fans are. We didn't need those, but we sure needed the roof! Kitchen, bar, and restrooms are attached but hidden from view. This all gives HSH great flexibility to make sure the weather is just not a factor.
--On-site parking is available. Dustin's staff directed parking, but we were impressed that, because of the rain, they also met the guests with umbrellas (and carts for guests needing them) to get the guests to the pavilion dry.
--Food (so good!). HSH handled our passed appetizers, full buffet followed by seated guests, champagne toasts, and dessert with aplomb. We can't say enough about the decor and the delicious meal our guests enjoyed. We took Dustin's advice when making menu selections and couldn't have been more pleased.
The Henry Smith House is a gem tucked away in Pearl River County, Mississippi. Don't miss it!
Hands. down. The absolute most dream worthy wedding venue + most accommodating venue owner in all of the South.
Sooooo I originally planned to get married in New Orleans in November 2020 but due to COVID and everything that brought, we decided to downsize and move it to my hometown in Picayune. Let me just say that this was not settling AT ALL!!!! First off, the venue looks like it dropped right out of Southern Living but whatâs really so charming and whimsical is the team youâll work with.
The moment I met the owner, Dustin, I knew we shouldâve made this our original plan since day 1. Heâs full of charisma, charm, and hospitalityâŠand not to mention he knows how to throw a helluva party!! Since everything was booked for our wedding 12 months out, we already had a team of vendors confirmed out of New Orleans. Dustin was so accommodating and made sure we were able to bring those companies onboard so we werenât out any extra money⊠you truly do not find this anywhere!! He coordinated with all of my original vendors to make sure everything would run smoothly day of.
Then the next curveball⊠the weather! I was frantic the week of because we were expecting rain all day Friday and Saturday and originally were planning to use all of the grounds for a welcome dinner, brunch, and our reception throughout the weekend⊠well due to having to create an alternate plan and moving all events under the pavilion, Dustin went the extra mile to make sure no decorations for the reception were visible at the welcome dinner since it had to happen under the same pavilion. He originally was planning to wrap the beams in greenery on Wednesday to get ahead of it, but due to the rain, he waited until everyone was out of the pavilion on Friday night to start adding decor for Saturdayâs festivities. I truly didnât believe he was doing this when he told me. As a bride who had to already change all of the plans, uninvite hundreds of guests, then deal with all of this weather, it meant so much that Dustin cared so deeply about making my fiancĂ© and me happy. You really do not find this level of care anywhere.
Then the events!!! OH MY GOODNESS!!! We are still receiving so many compliments about the venue as a whole. From the Victorian home where all of my bridesmaids and I stayed the night before then got ready to the luscious green grounds of the HSH, everything is jaw-dropping beautiful. Iâve several friends whoâve gone to weddings in Tulum, Napa, and Italy, and they literally told me that this is the most beautiful venue and wedding reception that theyâve ever been to.
If youâre thinking of booking the HSH, just do it. I promise you will not regret it and it will forever be the best decision for your wedding weekend. Iâm already thinking of a reason to book the HSH again and cannot wait to come back to Picayune to visit Dustin!
Iâve heard the term âdestination weddingâ and immediately my mind ponders to a thought of leaving the good olâ USA mainland. If thatâs the case, I think that phrase, or thought, can be adjusted to include south Mississippi, particularly Picayune, and especially The Henry Smith House and Dustin Castrinos.
We had originally planned my favorite daughter Brookeâs wedding (okay, sheâs the only one too) in New Orleans per her wishes. Then Covid-19 changed our options and we looked at moving it out of the Big Easy and couldnât have been more pleased with the outcome. Overjoyed is more appropriate.
The Henry Smith House and Dustinâs staff made it a magical two days. The venue is so accommodating for âoutsideâ interaction, even though you are completely protected from the elements under their sprawling roof. The Henry Smith House grounds, building, trees, the accents created by Dustin and staff are simply putâŠamazing. And so was Dustin to work out the details in a very easy manner and in a short time. As he says often "I got this." And he truly does mean it and proves it.
All of the wedding party and guests were floored with the two nightsâ events. Dustin has the ability to visualize how something will look, predict the flow of how the guest and working staff will be, and he has a keen eye for details that donât seem to matter much until you see people smile and comment âthatâs a great ideaâ or âIâve never seen anything like thatâ over and over.
As a parent and the father of the bride, Iâd read a lot about things to be attentive to ensure a great time for the guests and bridal party. I honestly forgot a lot of those things because Dustin was so consistent and assured me âDonât worry, I got this.â And he did. Oh, one more note. Iâm a member of the local chamber of commerce (Yes we have one in Picayune) and we recently held our annual awards banquet at The Henry Smith House ten days prior. I was told today, we have already booked it for next year.
Honestly, I cannot think of anything more Dustin and The Henry Smith House could have done to make the weekend any better. The Henry Smith HouseâŠthe new "destination" for weddings, receptions, and events. Magical.
I was not the type of person who ever thought about my wedding when I was growing up. When I found myself engaged, Dustin was the exact person I needed. He walked me through all of the options, and when I realized I wanted a medieval fantasy theme wedding, he was 100% on board. He had ideas for decor, helped us with a custom menu, and set us up with other vendors. As a non-binary bride, Dustin was fully supportive of making sure the wedding worked for my partner and I. When little hiccups came along, as they always do, Dustin had the answer. He set the venue up so beautifully many of my friends asked for his information for planning their weddings. Now that our day has come and gone, and my husband and I are spending our life together, we won't be chatting with Dustin nearly as much. He was such a wonderful host and planner that we'll keep our eyes open for any brunches he hosts at the venue, and will be planning additional gatherings at his venue in the future. Dustin, thank you for such a magical day!
Most little girls dream of what their wedding day will look like. From who they'll marry (Leonardo DiCaprio for me), the dress, your dad walking you down the aisle, the music, dancing, cake, etc. I had envisioned all of this from when I was little. Although I didn't end up marrying Leo, I married the man of my dreams at the venue of my dreams.
Dustin took care of every single detail from the flowers to the food. My dad passed away earlier this year and that left a huge hole in my heart knowing he wouldn't be there. Dustin and his team did everything possible to make sure that everything, despite that, would be everything else I had dreamed of. I didn't have to lift a finger in doing ANYTHING. Everything was taken care of. He chose the most beautiful decorations, the food was phenomenal, the cake was perfect, and everything in between.
I cannot thank The Henry Smith House enough for the way they made everything so perfect and effortless. I never imagined a non-stressful wedding day but Dustin made that possible, so for that alone, thank you.
My husband and I could not have asked for a more beautiful, perfect wedding day. The beauty of the venue definitely speaks for itself. Clint and the staff were so helpful. A special thanks to Jeanette for her planning and guidance. Our day would not have been what it was without her because I definitely did not know what I was doing. The best venue! The BEST DAY.
I got married in the midst of Tropical Storm Gordon and it was still the most perfect day of my life. Huge thanks to the Engoliaâs for a truly magical day.
My husband and I got married on April 14, 2018. Itâs taken me a long time to come up with words that accurately describe our wedding day. The best word I can muster up is âfairytaleâ. Jeanette and Clint made our day absolute perfection. Jeanette puts so much into every single detail, making your job as a bride and groom effortless. A huge storm came in the morning of our wedding, so the ceremony spot had to be moved around the day before and nothing went as previously planned. As a bride this seems like a nightmare for most.. but i stayed eerily calm the entire day and I know thatâs because I had 100% faith in Jeanette and Clint to assure the day was perfection. And letâs just talk about the food: OMG! Melt-in-your-mouth perfection. Every single part of our wedding day was flawless, from start to ending with breakfast the next morning. Jeanette and Clint truly make you feel apart of their family, they have a true and rare gift. My husband and i already canât wait to go back for our anniversary next year! Thank you for giving us the wedding day of our dreams, we truly wouldnât have changed a single thing.
There aren't enough words to describe how amazing, beautiful, and perfect our wedding was! The Henry Smith House was the best decision we made for our March 2018 wedding. Mrs. Jeanette & Mr. Clint and their staff have it down to a science. Everything was PERFECT. When we arrived, I was amazed on how beautiful our venue was. I did not have to do anything. Mrs. Jeanette handled everything that day. Our ceremony was set up perfect and ran smoothly. Our reception was beautiful. Dinner was AMAZING...still dreaming of that brisket and those grits!! We had a great time!! After the party was over, we chose to stay in their beautiful suite in the bed&breakfast where they had plates of dinner and our cake waiting for us. We also had a delicious breakfast that next morning.
This venue is so beautiful and worth the drive. We are so happy with their services and highly recommend them!!
I CAN NOT put into words how amazingly beautiful, awesome, and CONVENIENT this venue is! Our wedding was amazing! Its been exactly one week today and Iâm still sad it ended! Everyone loved EVERYTHING!!! When I started looking for a venue for our destination wedding this venue had everything covered down to the very last detail. I appreciate not having deal with too many of the stresses of wedding planning because the majority of everything was already taken care of by the venue!!! You LITERALLY could just come with your dress, a photographer, a cake, officiant, and a DJ and have an amazing wedding!!!! Mrs. Jeanette and Mr. Clint were awesome. The food was AMAZING! Everyoneâs still raving about the stuffed mushrooms, Brisket and crawfish pasta!!! The setting alone was just beautiful!!! I canât thank them enough for everything they did for me, our families and our guests and just our wedding overall. Thereâs no way you can go wrong with picking this venue!!!!
We had our wedding in March 2018 at The Henry Smith House. Our big day was like a fairy tale dream. This venue was exactly what we were looking for as far as atmosphere, scenery, food, and overall experience. Jeanette and her husband, Clint, were extremely attentive to us and our guests. Jeanette even had a major part in planning our entire wedding by providing us with excellent vendor recommendations. We used her entire list! They all collaborated so well that our night was flawless. The question of the night was, "How did you find this beautiful place?!". Jeanette and her crew personally cooked all of the food themselves and it was amazing! Our family is still raving about the corn grits and green beans with bacon! If you are looking for a stress free venue with a secret garden feel- this is the place for you.
Got married at The Henry Smith House on October 13th and it was an absolute fairytale come true! Jeannette, Clint and their staff did an absolutely flawless job of putting the day together and making sure that everything ran smoothly. I was completely at ease knowing things were in their hands. The venue is beautiful and they pay attention to every detail making sure your day not only looks but feels perfect. On top of all that the food was AMAZING! All of my family and friends (many that traveled from New Jersey) were so impressed with the venue, saying it was the perfect spot! I really can't say enough good things about this place! It was absolutely magical!
Our wedding at the Henry Smith House was not only beautiful but went seamlessly. Every guest went on and on about how wonderful it was, we heard not 1 complaint. Everything on the day of happened perfectly and Jeanette was there with me every step of the way leading up to it. Her and her husband Clint are both wonderful people and they're great at what they do, I know my day was amazing thanks to them. How fortunate I was to have their experience was made even more evident to me when I attended a family members wedding the following week and the event was unorganized and the poor bride was running around trying to get things together. At my wedding I enjoyed every moment. If something did go wrong, I sure didn't see it. Thank You guys so much! Hope to see you again!
The Henry Smith House was the perfect place for my second wedding! I wanted a very serene location for my family to participate in a small sentimental ceremony and then a large reception to follow. Mrs. Jeanette was very organized and extremely helpful with pre-planning. She made it very easy for a very busy mom. The whole team at the venue was amazing! This is the perfect wedding venue!
The Henry Smith House was absolutely amazing. Our wedding was a dream, and we couldn't be happier with the entire experience. The second we pulled up to the property for the venue tour, we fell in love with it. It is a beautiful, hidden gem. With Spanish moss covering the oak trees, picturesque fountains, and strings of sparkling lights, the Henry Smith House truly transports you far away from city life into a peaceful, romantic, Southern fairy tale.
Not only was the venue perfect, but the owners of the venue were incredible. From the very first day, Jeanette and Clint were friendly, professional, and helpful. I cannot express how stress-free the planning was, as Jeanette handled EVERYTHING. She answered all of our questions prior to the event, and gave us great advice for optimizing the entire experience, while also accommodating our ideas and preferences. I cannot thank her enough for her help throughout the entire wedding process!
Our wedding day was absolutely perfect. I truly did not have to worry about a thing. Jeanette, Clint, the bridal assistant, and all of the Henry Smith House staff exceeded my expectations. Everyone was so nice, professional, and proactive. I did not even need to think! This was so wonderful, as it allowed me to enjoy every single moment of the wedding. We also used three of the vendors on the suggested vendor list, and we were extremely satisfied with all three. Terri Sixkiller (bartender) was incredibly professional throughout the entire process and the bar (of course) was a huge success. Runaway Train (band) was awesome! They really made the event come alive and I highly recommend them! And finally, Paul's Pastry (cake...in the form of petit fours) was the best! I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw the beautiful set up. Plus, the guests raved about the petit fours!
The food...AMAZING. All of the guests loved it! The brisket was cooked perfectly, and the side dishes were delicious. We also got the Shrimp Creole, which was a great treat for our guests from the Northeast. I was very impressed!
We spent the night in the Master Suite of the Bed and Breakfast, and it was the perfect cap to our wedding. The Bed and Breakfast is beautiful, and it was so nice to get to stay at the property over night and wake up to freshly brewed coffee in the courtyard! We also had a wonderful breakfast with Jeanette and Clint. They are great company and we loved swapping travel stories...we even got some good tips for our honeymoon!
I highly recommend this venue. It was the best decision we made and the Henry Smith House will forever hold a special place in my heart. THANK YOU for making our dream wedding come true!
As mother of the groom I cannot praise the efforts of Jeanette and Clint enough! What a wonderful experience they gave us. I dropped my decorations off that morning and when we returned that evening for the rehearsal dinner, the already beautiful venue had been transformed! Between the beautiful candlelight, flowers provided by Picayune Florist, the excellent food, and the wonderful staff it was truly a five-star experience! I can't thank ya'll enough for making our night a truly memorable one!
I had my wedding here November 22, 2014, and it was great! I had a practically stress-free wedding planning process and wedding day. Once you book with Henry Smith House, so many things are already taken care of (venue, tables, chairs, linens, catering, wedding coordinator). The grounds are beautiful (even entering the winter months!), as is the reception area. There are provisions for any elements you worry about with a partially outdoor wedding (heavy curtains for wind/rain, gas heaters and fireplace if it's cold). Jeanette and Clint are very helpful and attentive and you can tell that they enjoy keeping their place beautiful and making their clients/guests happy. Several guests (and the groom) commented on how surprisingly smooth and organized the event was. Everyone loved the food! Lastly, when you DO book your wedding or event here-- trust and seek Jeanette's advice! She does this EVERY weekend, knows her menu items (what are the most popular, what goes well together), and she WILL make sure everything looks good! I am so glad we found the place that is just what I always envisioned for my wedding! The only things I wish had gone slightly differently were in regards to other service providers (florist, DJ) and are in no way relevant to the Henry Smith House's service-- but thought I'd mention it to show that it was still a real wedding. However, that is what made the HSH that much unbelievably awesome- the fact that I can't say anything critical about my experience with them! Guests who had weddings elsewhere were very impressed and perhaps even envious!
My daughter's wedding on Nov. 22, 2014 at the HSH was perfect. With service provider recommendations and Jeanette's direction, planning was stress-free. We could not have had a more beautiful setting, the food was excellent, the staff professional and attentive, and owners, Jeanette and Clint, are wonderful hosts. The tables, chairs, linens, and decor provided by HSH saves money. Jeanette's coordinating skills are top-notch and, I was very impressed with her ability to help with last minute suggestions and adjustments. All we had to do was show up with our personal decor and bar supplies and ENJOY our special event. I highly recommend the HSH to anyone who wants a classy wedding at a very reasonable price.
As soon as I saw The Henry Smith House, I just knew it was the perfect place for a beautiful wedding. I was right. Jeanette and Clint saw to it that my day was flawless. The garden setting is just amazing, as is the brick pavilion and the covered pergola with sparkling fountain. Their staff is very professional and took great care of us and our guests. My husband and I each had a coordinator guiding us through each step leading up to the wedding and following up while we had our photos taken. They were great! The reception was fantastic. They lit the fireplace for us, which was amazingly beautiful and all of the lights were just gorgeous. The food was absolutely awesome! Everyone loved it and is still talking about it. I could not imagine having a better wedding anywhere else. This is it! It was a great experience all the way through. Thank you so much Jeannette and Clint for sharing this wonderful home and grounds with all of us. It was a wonderful day we will always treasure!
I just had the most amazing wedding day at the Henry Smith House. The grounds are beautiful, serene and welcoming. The owners are just as wonderful as the location. They are kind, honest, hard-working and supportive. Not only did I have a stress free planning period, but the actual wedding day was relaxing and flawless. The food was delicious, the grounds were immaculate and the staff professional. I have had numerous guest contact me to tell me how wonderful the night went. Ever detail was covered, down to a to go box for me and the groom. I can't imagine trusting my wedding day to anyone else. I highly recommend the Henry Smith House and wish the wedding day had never ended!
I know it is hard to believe that someone can have the Perfect Wedding. However, we did!!! Even the guest and family members referred to it as the Perfect Wedding. The grounds were beautiful and neat. The reception area was large enough to not feel crowded. The chairs were comfortable. The way the food and cakes were set up were very well planned. All our request and needs were met. Extremely easy people to work with. The food was exceptional and very professionally delivered. They were on top of everything! I could go on and on. Perfect place for an outside wedding...
The Henry Smith House was everything that I ever could have wanted in my wedding. If you are looking for a quaint, vintage and personal space for your southern wedding this is the perfect spot. The price was just right and the place was gorgeous. The food and service was also great! I had a few things that I wish went a little different but all in all it was wonderful! Jeanette and her husband Fred were very helpful, and very nice people. I wish I could do it all over again :)
