We began our venue search in January 2018. We toured probably 8-9 places and "the one" still hadn't popped out at us. I met Claudette and Katrina at a bridal expo and booked an appointment there to visit The Highlands . Honestly, that same day,... we had appointments at 4 other places and I was EXHAUSTED. I actually begged my fiancee to reschedule or just choose one we had already seen...he said, "no, this will be the last place we visit and make a decision from there". I AM SO GLAD WE WENT!!!
I can't put into words the instant connection we had with Claudette. We walked the venue, (which is beautiful), she described the cermony set-up, cocktail hour, reception and flow of it all. As she did, I could envision it all in my head. THIS WAS IT.
We left that meeting, my fiancee and I just looked at each other. I asked, "what did you think?"...He had the biggest smile on his face, we both said, "this is the place!".
From that day, January 29, 2018 through my wedding date exactly nine months later, Claudette and Katrina were more than what I could have ever asked for. The two work in tandum and are on top of it ALL. We were in constant communication and bounced ideas off of each other, working within our budget. My nickname for them is now "The Dream Team".
The day was spectacular, everything flowed like it should, the food was delicious, our reception was gorgeous and an amzaing time was had by everyone. The compliments that night were non-stop and are still coming. I am so glad we found The Highlands and Claudette. She truly brought our vision to life and made the day one we will never forget.
