Hilton Scranton comfortably seats a maximum of 450 guests. Couples who book the spacious venue are afforded the opportunity of hosting their once-in-a-lifetime event in the venue’s beautifully appointed Casey Grand Ballroom or Electric City Ballroom. Our Casey Grand Ballroom can host up to 450 guests comfortably, while our Electric City Ballroom can hold up to 150 wedding guests.

Hilton Scranton offers pricing based on a Food and Beverage Minimum and a Set-Up fee. Our Set-Up Fees and Food and Beverage Minimums are exclusive of service charge and applicable taxes. Prices are as followed:

We got married here this past Saturday -11/23. The entire planning process was easy and the staff were fabulous! Our wedding was everything that we could've dreamed of and more! All the staff the day of were absolutely amazing, especially Carson, Peggy, Becca, John from PJ's bar, and Bri (our coordinator)! Also, the food was amazing, all the guests are still raving about it!!
Where do I even begin. Kristen is the absolute best when it comes to event planning. Our wedding was a dream come true. She listened to our questions, comments and concerns without hesitation. She takes the stress off of you, keeps consistent communication and most importantly she is a sweetheart! The food was out of this world. If you care about a convenient venue location, friendly staff and amazing food, book the Hilton! I had my bridal shower, rehearsal dinner and reception at the Hilton and all three events were perfect in every way. Highly recommend
We used the Hilton Scranton for our wedding on September 10, and had the most perfect day!
Our wedding coordinator was Kristen and she was very nice and very invested in our wedding and making sure every detail was perfect.
Many of our guests said it was the best and most elegant wedding that they attended and we couldn't have been happier for the price paid.
One of the primary deciding factors for us was that the Hilton offered complete customization and control over our food, beverage and decor options and was able to provide a detailed pricing list for every option so we could build our package to be the right price per person for our big day. This was very important to us as we didn't end up paying for very expensive package prices for things that our guests would not use or enjoy ( eg. open bar - our people were more than content with wine and beer and we were happy to have a much cheaper price per head with this option).
If elegant and affordable are important to you, then you can't beat the Hilton in Scranton!
Everything about our wedding at the Hilton Scranton was perfect. Meghan and her team worked with us to make sure that everything was exactly as we envisioned. Especially amazing was the way that the team at the Hilton Scranton handled postponing our wedding due to COVID-19 with such ease. The team was so understanding of our situation and checked in frequently to make sure that everything was going OK with our planning. Our guests all had wonderful things to say about the food, service, and atmosphere. We couldn't have asked for a better day or experience!
My husband and I cannot say enough great things about the Hilton Scranton & Conference Center. We had our wedding ceremony and reception there in May, 2021. First off, great location! It's right in downtown Scranton, so there was a lot for our guests to do. Everything was perfect from the moment we decided to have our wedding there, through the actual wedding, and even after the wedding with a follow-up message from the Hilton about giving us free baseball tickets. Meghan, the wedding coordinator at the Hilton, was always extremely responsive and talked us through everything. When COVID hit, the Hilton was amazing, which is wonderful considering horror stories I heard about other wedding venues. The Hilton said we could do whatever we wanted as far as postponing or cancelling. We postponed and had our wedding 7 months after our original date. The Hilton had plenty of safety protocols in place and did everything we wanted to make our wedding go off without a hitch, safely. Any questions we had, Meghan was there. Her coworkers, Dee and Joe, were wonderful too. Then, the day of the wedding, everything was perfect! Every piece of decor looked great and was exactly where we wanted it. All the little details that we had previously mentioned about the ceremony and reception were executed. The Hilton did not miss a beat. They made our vision come to life. It was the most fun, incredible, day of our lives. THANK YOU!
We were all set to have our reception at the Hilton Scranton, with room blocks and a brunch the next morning for the guests at the Hotel. Then Covid happened. We waited until almost a month until our wedding to make a call....have the wedding with a severely cut guest list or postpone our reception. Well we ended up with Plan D, which was a last minute change of venue to outdoors, with multiple safety measures in place. We had selected wonderful food for our cocktail style reception and didn't want to have to try and find another Caterer last minute. We asked Meghan at the Hilton if they would be willing to do outside catering to our new venue 45 minutes away. She said that she would discuss with the chef to see if they could do it as they have never catered out before. After about a week of back and forth's on their end about different aspects, they said yes! We are so happy that they were able to. They rented the necessary equipment, brought plates, silverware, napkins, and everything we needed for an open bar including the license. Meghan and her staff went above and beyond to make our wedding as close to the original idea as possible and it was outstanding! We got nothing but compliments about, not only the food, but also the staff. Highly recommend the Hilton for any event you plan on having!
Meghan and the Hilton Staff went above and beyond at our wedding two weeks ago. Everything looked amazing and every detail was executed perfectly! We had our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception all at the Hilton and everything was elegant and stunning.
Meghan put 100% into our wedding experience, as I am sure that she does with all her events. I recommend Meghan and the Hilton to any couples looking for a wedding venue in the future! My husband and I chose the Hilton Scranton Conference Center for our July 9, 2016 wedding. From the moment we toured the venue and met with Lacey Woodrow, the catering sales manager, we knew that the Hilton was the perfect place for our dream wedding. Lacey was extremely supportive throughout the entire wedding process, offering ideas, welcoming our suggestions and adding in all of our special touches and requests with ease. The entire process was enjoyable- not stressful as many people deem planning a wedding to be. Guests are still raving about the staff, the food, and the overall experience of our wedding at the Hilton. Anyone would be lucky to have Lacey on their team as they plan their big day!
My husband and I got married this October and chose the hilton because it was a great location downtown with a hotel attached to it. Overall, we had a great time with the Hilton. We received tons of compliments on the food and the staff during the ceremony and the reception! We worked with Aleiza, the wedding coordinator, from the beginning... I cannot sing enough praises for this woman. She was always available and went above and beyond several times for us. She is excellent and I would recommend her to anyone! We had a bit of hurdles with the Hilton at some points- they changed coordinators 3 times during our two year process (I planned way ahead!), which was annoying, but in the end we got to work with Aleiza again, so all was right with the world. Also, the other "hurdle" we had was that they had scheduled a "horror fest" on the same day of our wedding... This is probably the one thing I would say to watch out for. If you want ONLY your wedding to happen, then I'd search somewhere else. The Hilton was extremely accommodating once I voiced how upset I was. They went above and beyond, building linen walls as well as offering other extra services at no cost and were very attentive to what I was worried about. My wedding went off without any problems and for most of the day, I was completely unaware that anybody else was even in the building. I was extremely pleased. The general manager and sales manager were very easy to work with after voicing my concerns. Although I know Aleiza isn't the wedding coordinator anymore, I can't say it enough how she almost single handedly made my wedding day stress free and the way I wanted it. I feel that you're in pretty good hands with the Hilton. The food, staff, and overall vibe was elegant and the pricing is extremely doable-- especially when comparing to the Radisson across the street. I also feel it's important to mention that we had 300 guests and for as big of a guest list, there were no issues in terms of space or service. Good luck on your venue search!!!!
The wedding coordinator Alieza was so helpful and sweet. The food was delicious and the portion was great. The hotel is beautiful and clean. It's in a good location and has a charm to it. Overall the Hilton provided a perfect location for our celebration.
