Our wedding at Longview Mansion was perfect! The site is gorgeous, the food is impeccable, the staff is amazing, and we were blown away by how affordable it was!
I got married 2-23-25 at The Historic Longview Mansion and wanted to take a minute to rave about how amazing they are. Heather, the manager, is just incredible, and so is the rest of her team. They were so easy to communicate with and handled EVERYTHING. I was able to get the food and desserts at the venue and the food was amazing! They had all the decor I needed at the venue for no extra cost- the only thing I had to purchase was the actual candles to go in all the candle holders. I had no idea what I wanted as far as design goes, and Heather, bless her soul, said she would set everything up for me- and it looked STUNNING. We had both the ceremony and the reception here, and the whole experience was so smooth. Heather walked us through every step and acted as a day of coordinator also to ensure our wedding day ran smoothly! I am forever grateful to Heather and all the crew at Longview and will be recommending them to everyone!!
The price was very fair, especially since it was so inclusive. The were very up front about the cost and all it included which I appreciated!
Special shoutouts to Lilly for helping me pick out decor and for putting together my seating chart for me, and to all the incredible people working the night of my wedding!
3500 characters is not enough to explain how perfectly our wedding went thanks to the staff at Longview Mansion. Ashlin, our coordinator, was flawless in making sure everything went perfectly the day of, and leading up to the event. The staff was very professional, and Heather, the manager does a phenomenal job. My guests raved about how great the food, and service were. Seriously, if you are looking for a venue, look no further!!
The Historic Longview Mansion is an INCREDIBLE venue. The entire staff makes sure that your day is as seamless and easy as possible so your entire wedding party and guests are taken care of, and can focus on enjoying the event and celebrating the couple. My favorite part about working with the Mansion team was their flexibility and willingness to make our day unique, always willing to make changes and work with our vision without questions. Because the venue provides the food and beverage, staff, linens, tables, chairs, decorations you name it, it made our wedding planning process so much less stressful.
The venue itself is gorgeous and truly unique. Our guests, family and friends were able to explore the mansion during the reception and learn more about its history. We had the whole venue to ourselves the day of our wedding, so we didn’t have to worry about travel from getting ready, to pictures, to the ceremony etc. this made our day feel so special, like the Mansion itself was ours for the day.
I cannot recommend this venue enough. I will be thinking about our Wedding day and how perfect it was forever, and it wouldn’t have been possible without this venue and its staff.
We fell in love just driving up the circle drive, looked at each other, and said "Yep, this is the one." Longview Mansion was just GORGEOUS and we got so lucky with the perfect fall day with all the fall colors! Almost every guest made a comment to us about how beautiful and nice the venue was, it definitely has that wow factor which can be hard to find! They are all-inclusive with their catering and decor setup which took a load off my mind. I showed up with my decor in bins and they took it from there and also had things donated from previous weddings that I was able to use as well! I was able to get in with my girls at 10 AM to start getting hair and makeup done in their beautiful 3 room spanning bridal suite. On the other end of the hallway, the groom also has a multi-room suite. I'm sharing all the beautiful photos our photographer Emma Highfill captured that day of the venue and all its glory. You couldn't ask for a more beautiful venue in which to get married.
Wedding Dream Come True:
When first looking for a wedding venue, Longview Mansion stuck out as a beautiful combination of nature and elegant, classic architecture. We were immediately impressed by the staff’s staff friendliness, professionalism, and knowledge. The mansion is gorgeous and full of character and charm.
Our coordinator, Ashlin, was phenomenal. On our honeymoon, my wife and I couldn’t help but realize how smoothly everything ran thanks to Ashlin’s help. She was responsive to all requests, replied to emails in a timely manner, and went out of her way to ensure a perfect day for us. We even heard from our officiant that Ashlin was the *best* coordinator she had worked with (and that’s saying something!!). We are so thankful to the Longview Mansion team for making our wedding day a perfect day.
Another aspect that was superb was the in-house catering. We were happy to hear that we had one less vendor to worry about thanks to the in-house chef at Longview Mansion. We were very impressed by the selection and quality of the food. When our day came, guests were delighted with the food and were all moved through the buffet in great time.
The ONLY small complaint we came across was that guests wished there was a bit easier access to restrooms, as most reside on the upper level of the mansion.
However, we would absolutely recommend Longview Mansion to ANYBODY who is looking to get married at a memorable location, working with some of the best in the business.
My husband and I had our wedding here in May 2023 and it was absolutely fantastic. The entire mansion and lawn were gorgeous and the staff were absolutely amazing. Our coordinator Ashlin was so organized and ensured our day went completely perfectly. I highly recommend Longview Mansion for your wedding!! Again, Ashlin and the entire staff were perfect and made our day go by smoothly!
My name is Halle with Made by Halle. I am a Kansas City based wedding photographer, and recently photographed a wedding here this past May! As a fellow vendor, I was so impressed with the care and attention to detail of the whole staff at the Longview Mansion. The morning of the wedding, I met the owner in the garden as she shared her joy for caring for the grounds and the people who work there. Emily McCollum was the main coordinator, and her calm & professional presence made the day run so smoothly! I had to leave a review because I didn't want their kind & intentional efforts to go unrecognized.
This venue couldnt have been any more perfect for us! We had ~200 people and there was plenty of space at the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception. We had multiple people tell us their food was some of the best wedding food they had ever had, especially the truffle mashed potatoes :) I would recommend this venue to anyone!
EVERYTHING WE DREAMED OF AND MORE- The Historic Longview Mansion is the perfect site for any event, but especially your wedding day! Heather, Kelsi, Alex, Chris and team make sure you are taken care of every single minute of your day and help create a flawless stress free environment. They go above and beyond to ensure that every detail is taken care of and the everyone and everything! PS - the food is amazing :) Endless thank-yous to the Longview Mansion staff!!
Heather and Alexandra were absolutely amazing through the entire wedding planning process. Having our venue handle catering and bar services as well, really saved me so much stress and planning during the months prior to the wedding. They handled the months of random emails with questions, concerns, etc. like the pros that they are. They were flexible and understanding in the last couple weeks leading up to the event, as I was dropping off decor, running through tech testing, and worried about rain. Most importantly, having the day of setup, coordination, and just all around organization handled entirely by Heather and Alex meant that we didn’t have to worry about a single thing on our wedding day. I spent the whole day getting ready, and I think they only asked me one or two questions about my preferences on a couple last minute adjustments due to rain. They worked tirelessly to make sure our day was exactly how we had envisioned it, and if there were any hiccups we were blissfully unaware. The whole staff went above and beyond to make sure everyone had an amazing day/evening. Of course the venue itself is beautiful, charming, and incredibly photogenic - but I’m certain it’s Alex and Heather that made our day so special. We could not have asked for a better team, and we would choose The Longview Mansion again in a heartbeat.
We hosted my daughter’s wedding reception at The Historic Longview Mansion last fall, and they delivered everything we ever wanted from a wedding venue. The staff was absolutely phenomenal to work with. Kim and Lisa are responsive, flexible and absolute professionals who truly want your event to be perfect. The romance is everywhere at this elegant estate (great for photos!), yet it has a comfortable charm that keeps it from being too stuffy. The Pavilion tent can be transformed into any vibe you like - from a beautiful garden party to a modern club scene. The state-of-the-art sound system was installed in partnership with Fernando Productions (and you know it’s good when the #1 DJ in KC is involved!) The food is delicious with a large selection for any budget – they even made a favorite appetizer not on the menu, at our request.
Once seeing the gorgeous estate, and everything you get with your rental, we immediately dropped the idea of selecting one of the trendy downtown locations that were all starting to look the same. We live in OP KS and the ceremony was in downtown KCMO, but the drive from either location to the Mansion was quick and easy (20 minutes) - yet felt like a private escape. I highly recommend this venue for your wedding! Go visit and see for yourself!
This venue is stunning. The Longview team is extremely helpful you would have thought you hired a wedding planner yourself! They made my dream of a small intimate ceremony come true in an amazing setting. There is not one thing that I didn't love about the Longview Mansion (the venue, the FOOD, the people) were outstanding!
We got married July 19th at the mansion! Kim and Lisa were awesome to work with! The day was beautiful and seamless! We would recommend the mansion to anyone!
I booked the Longview Mansion two days after I got engaged. I had worked the mansion in a professional aspect in the past and knew this was the place I wanted to get married. We were one of the handful of weddings that went through the owner transition. While I love Jenny and the original staff, Kim and Lisa took care of me as if I was their own daughter. They were flexible, accommodating, and kind. As a very Type A person, I have very high expectations and can find it difficult for people to meet my expectations. The Longview Mansion exceeding my wildest dreams! My wedding day was the best day of my life.
I am so thankful that I chose this venue and has this amazing experience. Everyone raved about the beauty of the mansion and the exquisite food. The venue and everyone I worked with will always have a very special place in my heart.
Longview Mansion did an incredible job for our wedding. We had booked the mansion almost a year and a half prior to our wedding. During the time leading up to our wedding the mansion was bought out by a new company. At first we were concerned as one of the reasons we had booked the mansion was because we felt like the prior wedding coordinator would do an excellent job. The transition however, was very smooth. Kim, one of the new coordinators, met with us multiple times and was incredibly responsive to our emails. The mansion was undergoing a renovation (which was scheduled to be completed very close to our wedding) however Kim kept us updated on the progress of it all and assured us we had nothing to worry about. Lisa, our day of coordinator also did an excellent job. She was accommodating to last minute changes and was also very responsive. The mansion, in general, did an excellent job.
I just had my wedding in June of 2018. I went through a transition from old owners to new owners. I would have originally rated them a 5 stars with the old owners. These new owners are all about money. They assured us they would stick with our old contract.. which they did.. only because we had a planner and we stuck to our guns. Yes, the venue and our wedding day was perfect. I will say heading into the big day was a disaster with the new owners. We didn't have our tasting until 3 months before the wedding and we couldn't get straight answers from them.
The entire time, the new owners were trying to see what they could get us to pay for. They tried to tell us we could use their "new china, silverware, and chairs" for $12/person. We thought that was too much since we were planning for 200+ guests. Then when we told them we would stick to their old stuff, they ended up telling us they would let us use that stuff for free.
They told us we would have to MIX AND MATCH our guest dinner chairs... mix and match ballroom chairs with plastic folding chairs.. NOPE! We said that isn't how it was with the old owners.. turns out the NEW owners started getting rid of the old chairs. Ended up getting to us THOSE for FREE also!
THEN we were told we could bring in our own drinks to get ready for, tried to charge us to go get us drinks and throw on extra money for the "convenience factor". We didn't cave and OF COURSE they changed their mind to let us bring our own.
WEDDING DAY: A few things went wrong on the wedding day.. as it will for anyone. HOWEVER, all things that went wrong was because of longview staff... not related to any other vendors we had.
They had promised us their kitchen would be finished and everything cooked there.. WRONG. It wasn't and they had to cater in. They didn't want to make the asparagus we decided on because they didn't think it would travel over well. We said we didn't care and we wanted it because the other veggie options were gross. Guess what..? Wedding dinner comes out and the veggies were NOT what we had decided on... they changed our menu because THEY wanted to and DIDN'T tell us.
We also brought in our own wine for head table and parents tables. 1 bottle went missing. AND the head table did NOT get served champagne like we had asked.
A beautiful wedding venue for lookwise, very subpar staff. If I had to do it again, would definitely do it elsewhere because the headache the staff continued to give us was NOT worth it.
If you choose to go with them, DON'T GIVE IN to all prices they tell you..
So well organized. Literally could not have asked for a better venue. Jenny was fantastic to work with and made sure everything was well organized and ran smoothly. I can not imagine getting married anywhere else!
As you notice all the previous reviews are pretty old. Well, I’ve been working with them for the past 9 months (through the transition from old owners to new) and all I can say is don’t waste you money or time here. As of Jan 2018 they came under new ownership. I was given assurances by both the old owners and the new owners that I would be grandfathered in with the prices we were given. They upped the price by $12,000 from what we had agreed upon. The owners are more worried about profits then customer service and keeping promises. They want a large deposit based on promises that I’m not sure they are willing to keep.
We absolutely loved having our wedding at Longview Mansion. Longview went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful, memorable wedding. We really liked the location, and the staff is fabulous.
Jenny was our coordinator and she did an amazing job helping us coordinate with our vendors to ensure that our special day went smoothly. She was integral to pulling the whole thing off without a hitch! The other Longview staff were also very helpful and very friendly.
What we really liked about Longview as a location is that you get the whole venue for the entire day. It also has multiple ceremony options, and having the year-round tent for a reception was right what we were looking for. We also liked that they have an in-house chef, so that aspect was easy to handle, and we liked having buffet and plated options. The food was great!
The premises are perfect for a nice wedding, and I LOVED by bridal suite – it’s a gorgeous place to take pictures. We also liked that the guys had their own getting ready room on the premises as well.
We would definitely recommend Longview Mansion!
My husband and I threw our wedding together in 8 months. It was just by chance we found Longview and another amazing chance that they had just had a cancellation on the day we wanted. The planning was flawless, the staff incredible and the ambiance could not be matched. My wedding day was not what I imagined, it was better. Thank you Longview for doing what you do and making my day more than I could have dreamed!
Jenny with Longview Mansion could not be any more personable, ORGANIZED, or experienced in what she does. I cannot even begin to describe how gorgeous she made the mansion look the day of our wedding. The grounds and interior were immaculate, as was her smile and coordinating style throughout the wedding day. She was also so easy to work with throughout the year-long process of planning, and provided so much guidance with vendors, timeline, ceremony details, reception options, and décor. I cannot recommend this venue or staff enough!
We couldn't have chosen a more beautiful venue nor dreamed of anyone better to work with than Longview Mansion for our wedding ceremony and reception. Everyone had a fantastic time and had the best things to say about the venue and staff. Jenny, the event manager at the venue, is most incredible - very easy to work with, energetic and so sweet. I can't wait to see our wedding pictures - everything turned out SO perfect!
This place knows how to throw a party! Absolutely perfect. Above and beyond anything I could have imagined. You can see from the pictures, this place is beautiful. It's not photoshopped, folks. That's the real thing. But the real treasure is the people you will be working with. The staff (especially Jenny) are some of the most incredible people you will ever meet. I just wanted to hang out with them. I am truly sad I will not be seeing or communicating with any of them much more now that the wedding is over. Our wedding day was perfect and it was largely due to the amazing people at Longview Mansion. You will not be disappointed.
Jenny and her team were AMAZING! I can't speak highly enough about them. The venue was beautiful, the food was great, and there was plenty of space for everyone to enjoy. Not a detail was missed and the day went perfectly!
I have been working at Longview Mansion for 4-5 years; it has been a job that has gotten me through high school. The staff members afforded me the luxury of a flexible work schedule in order for my education to come first. They have given me support on and off the floor and have provided me with many great opportunities.
If you are looking to book an event or hold your wedding at Longview Mansion, then you should know that you would receive the best. Our staff is willing to sweat, run, and haul to ensure that your event goes off without a hitch. We will push our limits because when you commit to Longview Mansion, we commit to you. It is our goal that everything goes smoothly (even when challenges are presented), that the guests eat too much (because the food is just that good), and that everyone has an enjoyable time (so they can dance to their hearts content).
Longview Mansion is more than just a beautiful venue, there are so many things that make it unique. When it comes to the tough decisions or the unknown, our coordinators are here to help with anything and everything. They have huge hearts and put aside personal obligations in order to ensure that you have the best event possible. If there is a discrepancy, the coordinators personally see to it that things are set right. From the owner on down, every individual does his/her part to guarantee you have a memorable event.
If you are hesitating about Longview Mansion, I can say with certainty that you will not regret trusting your event with us.
I was so nervous about planning a wedding from out of state and Jenny made this process smooth, easy and exciting. Everyone at the venue was so easy to work with, and we truly enjoyed everything about our big day! Very rarely do you walk away from a wedding going "Wow! That good was delicious!". We definitely did! The prime rib and chicken were phenomenal. As far as the actual venue, it was beautiful!! We couldn't have possibly imagined a more perfect place to get married. The grounds are well taken care of! If we had a choice, we would do it all over again and do it the exact same!
I signed my contract and paid my $3000 deposit in November for my Friday, May 1, 2015 Ceremony and reception. In January our financial situation changed and my fiance went back to school. We knew we had to downsize everything. I immediately let the venue (Jenny was very nice and professional) know that we no longer could have our big wedding. I asked for my deposit or at least part of it back, but they were unwilling to even give part of it back despite the short time I had it booked, the long advance notice and the fact that it was a Friday night at that. They did not do anything wrong because I did sign the contract, but it definitely left a poor taste in my mouth given all the factors. Everyone I've talked to has been surprised at the unwillingness to work with me on it. I unfortunately had to just let $3000 go. Again, they were nice, professional, and did not have to give it back. I was just surprised that they didn't give even some of it. I'm sure it would have been a lovely wedding though. There was nothing wrong with the venue or Jenny.
Jenny Brown was wonderful to work with. Always pleasant with lots of ideas!
Longview Mansion was the most perfect venue for our wedding reception! Jenny is the most thorough and upbeat coordinator around and going above and beyond to make the whole day run smoothly. We had multiple planning sessions to put us at ease and multiple opportunities to taste the food as well. If we had a special request of any kind, they found a way to make it happen. All of our guests absolutely LOVED walking around the grounds of the mansion and exploring the house and the bridal party really enjoyed getting ready and taking pictures there during the day. The service is absolutely fantastic. We had about 260 people attend and the dinner service was still timely and delicious. The house, tent, grounds and pergola areas make for spectacular pictures and memories we will never forget!
Longview Mansion absolutely exceeded our expectations for what our Big Day was going to look like. We could not have dreamed a more beautiful setting and we received TONS of compliments on the venue. Not only did everything look stunning, we were worry-free since we trusted the staff at Longview with each and every detail. They made our year planning process simple, organized and FUN! Longview may be a bit more expensive than other venues, but every single penny was worth it. I wouldn't have changed a single thing about our experience at Longview- we LOVED it!!
I absolutely loved having my wedding day at Longview Mansion! We were married outside and then had our reception in the tent. Our day was flawless thank you to the wonderful coordination by Longview Mansion! I would highly recommend this venue! There's no place like it!
We held our ceremony and reception here. We had the ceremony outside by the fountain and the reception in the tent. Everything was so beautiful and Jenny and the rest of the staff did a great job in making sure everything ran smoothly!!
I always wanted an outdoor wedding, but in April, I needed a good back-up plan. As soon as I saw Longview I fell in love.
Jenny was absolutely wonderful to work with as the planner. She helped coordinate all of the planning, scheduling with vendors, set up times, rehearsal, and day-of coordinating. She was priceless!
The food was fantastic and the service for food and dinks were great all night long. The day of the rehearsal and wedding all went off without a hitch.
It is on the more expensive side for venues, but for everything included I think it was totally worth it. Includes catering, bar packages, servers, and coordinator/planner you work with the entire time from the moment you book.
If I was to do it again, I would absolutely do it the same way with them!
Longview Mansion is a beautiful venue for a wedding and reception. We had the ceremony around the fountain out front, cocktail hour was in the mansion and the reception was in the heated/air conditioned tent attached to the rear of the mansion. We were originally working with Tucker but a few months before the wedding, he left to pursue another job so Mary Beth took over as our coordinator. She was great at answering all of my questions and made me feel confident that everything would go well. She was at the mansion for the entire day of the wedding making sure everything went smoothly. She checked on us throughout the day and kept us on schedule. At our tasting, we did not like either of the chicken dishes we tried so we changed it for the wedding and it seemed to be better - I didn't try it on the wedding day. Everyone said the food was good. It is a bit expensive so make sure you have a good idea of your numbers so you can calculate the overall cost including the service fee and taxes before you sign the contract. If it fits in your budget, it's a beautiful venue that provides great service. I could not be happier with how everything turned out.
My wife and I recently wed on June 8, 2013 at the Longview Mansion. It was nothing short of amazing. From the day we started planning, up to the moment we left the reception, it was just wonderful. From the beautiful well-kept grounds, to the staff that was very helpful and accommodating. Jenny was definitely a jewel to work with in coordinating everything. We strongly recommend this place to have your wedding.
First of all, the Longview Mansion is probably the most beautiful venue I have ever seen. The gardens and the mansion are very well kept. I ADORED the bridal suite. Jenny (our wedding planner that came with the Longview) was outstanding. She was very informative and helpful during our entire planning process, she always got back to me within a day or two max and notified me if she was going to be out of the office. The day of could not have gone better, Jenny made sure everyone was where they needed to be (vendors and guests), she checked on me multiple times to make sure I did not need anything and to see how things were going. Our food was also great (some of the best wedding food I've had)
Jenny with the Mansion was absolutely amazing in helping me, the groom, do the wedding planning. With my bride-to-be in California throughout the process, she was very patient with us and really helped me personally get things just the way it had to be... I couldn't have asked for more or for better. And everything about the mansion was perfect. Our guests had so many wonderful things to say about it all.
Couldn't have picked a better venue.
Loved my wedding day it was a dream come true at Longview mansion but the process was difficult with communication
I can't say enough about the mansion and our coordinator, Jenny. She was unbelievable!!! Completely organized and thank goodness because she asked about things I wouldn't have enough thought about. The day of was completely flawless and every detail was taken care of. If you compare other venues and consider the fact that you have a coordinator, liquor, food, staff, etc. included, they are very comparable. She helped with vendors, decorating (she did it all before I even had time to think about helping), teaching our 3 boys how to usher, and whatever else there was to do. I had to think about NOTHING. The food was amazing and everyone said the staff was fantastic. The mansion is beautiful and a perfect place to get married.
We had attended a wedding at the LVM and that's what brought us back for our wedding! Jenny was our consultant and she was perfect. She was an amazing resource to use in the planning stages, and an invaluable part of our wedding day! We had our ceremony outside on the west lawn as opposed to the fountain, and we had so many compliments on our venue, the ceremony, and everyone had a great time at the reception in the pavilion (as you could tell by everyone dancing into the night!) They seriously take care of every little detail that you can imagine to make your day perfect. They are a little pricey, but they are worth it!
The Longview Mansion is the most beautiful venue in Kansas City! The food was amazing and the staff was so friendly. We had the best experience!
so accomadating and wonderful to work with. Tucker rocked day of. Come rain or shine it was the best place to have our wedding!
Everything was beautiful. The grounds, the mansion, the tent. The food was great, fresh & delicious! The wedding planner was the best! She helped me so much and was so fun to work with. She was very efficient, detailed, and knowledgable on any questions that I had a long the way. It was perfect.
It has been over 7 months and we can't keep talking about how amazing our wedding was at Longview. Jenny was amazing and always made me feel like I was the most important bride ever! It was so convenient to have our ceremony and reception at the same place and Jenny helped put together a great schedule. We enjoyed the day and didn't have to worry about a thing. The food was tasty and she made great recommendations for other vendors. It can be a bit pricey and we had to work with the owner to get another hour of bar service, but all in all it turned out great! One recommendation...the white tent can look a bit stark so we had darker satin table clothes and our DJ (Jeff Vaughn: Two Guys A Girl and Some Speakers) did up-lighting in purple that made it absolutely stunning! The place was transformed and it was gorgeous!
Longview was great, we got the world's best wedding consultant- Jenny!!!! Very helpful, very personable, food was great-- First tasting left something to be desired, but got lots of compliments the day of. Did have a few comments that the bushes in the garden could be manicured better as it obstructed their views. Kind of pricey, but well worth it. Arguably the best venue in the area!
We could not have been happier with Longview Mansion. The venue is absolutely beautiful and everyone there is so organized and accomodating! Mary Beth worked with us at the venue and she had the whole event running like clockwork. They have a chef that does their own food and it is delicious (we got tons of compliments on the food) plus you get to do a tasting in advance so you can make sure you are happy with all your food selections. I am vegetarian and my husband is lactose intolerant and they made us special entrees to suit our needs and our guest's needs. The rooms for the bridal party to get ready in are wonderful - I had 7 bridesmaids and there was plenty of room for all of us. Our wedding photos have been beautiful so far with the fountain in the background and there are some really cool old columns and ruins on the property (but you have to hike to get there -so bring boots or tennis shoes) that made for some amazing photos. The tent where we had the reception is so pretty and it creates a really elegant ambiance. They have a list of other vendors they like at longview for DJs, photographers, etc and we used a DJ and photographer on their list and they were both awesome, so they really pick wonderful people to work with. We were doing a wedding of about 150 people and when we compared costs between Longview and other vendors, Longview was a bit more expensive, but not by much. You get so much added value at Longview. They do little things that just make your day go so smoothly - they put water bottles and a fruit tray in the rooms for the bride and groom to get ready in. They cut the cake for you for no charge. You can drop off your decorations at the rehearsal so that you don't have to scramble to bring everything the day of the wedding. They coordinate with all your other vendors to make sure that everyone knows when and where to be on the day of the wedding. It is kind of like getting a wedding planner along with the venue. Our wedding and reception were perfect, without any problems & I think that is largely because of how organized and experienced everyone at Longview is. We had a lot of guests coming in from out of town and we really wanted to make sure that everyone would have a great time since they traveled so far, and everyone was so impressed with the venue and really enjoyed everything about it. I can't say enough great things about this venue - it is wonderful!!
Tucker was our coordinator at Longview and he did everything he could to help us. From doing multiple tastings, helping us with decor, picking up more of our signature drink when we ran out the day of. He went above and beyond! We loved that we could have our ceremony outside (a dream come true for me!) and go straight to an indoor reception for our guests!
Using Longview Mansion as my wedding venue was the greatest wedding planning decision I ever made. I was across the country from majority of my planning and everything came together perfectly. They even accommodated our requests to get married elsewhere on the grounds. It was the perfect backdrop for our romantic vintage wedding
Jenny and the staff at Longview Mansion helped to make all of my dreams come true! I couldn't believe how helpful they all were. They are a little pricey, but worth every penny. My guests are still raving about the event space.
Longview is truly a dream come true for a bride. They provided me with plenty of vendor selections, all of which were superb. The day of the wedding they provided me with everything I needed, they organized everything, and my wedding was a total success. I had an outdoor wedding, and they battered the wind to make sure that this was possible. Everything was beautiful and stress free. Not to mention the food was excellent.
Longview was great to work with in planning the wedding. The day of, their team was there to please - any requests we had, they fulfilled. I highly recommend this gorgeous venue. It's an amazing backdrop for pictures, inside and out!
My fiance and I are getting married at the mansion in Feb. The venue is beautiful! Like a dream come true! We are getting married in the library and then having dinner and dancing in the pavillion. MaryBeth is the wedding coordinator and she is wonderful! I couldnt ask for nicer folks to work with for my special day! I totally reccommend the Longview Mansion!
From the first moment we stepped into the mansion, I knew that I wanted to get married there. The location is beautiful and full of vintage charm (perfect for awesome photographs). And it just gets better from there.
Jenny Brown assisted us in all of our decisions and was in constant communication with us from the time we decided to go with Longview. When our wedding day came, Jenny made everything so easy. She coordinated with the florist and the DJ to make sure that everything ran smoothly--she has wedding coordination down to a science! Jenny was so easy going yet professional, that she completely calmed my nerves, and I was able to enjoy the day knowing that I didn't have to worry about anything. :)
I suppose that I should touch on the food too for a moment. The food was wonderful. All of my guests comments on how delicious their dinners were and many went back for second helpings. If anyone went away hungry, they had no one to blame but themselves.
When the evening came to an end, Jenny gathered up all of the wedding guests and had them line the driveway with long sparklers, that made our exit that much better.
Our entire day was magical and I couldn't be happier with the service. If a truly beautiful, classy, memorable experience is what you are after, I would urge you to consider Longview Mansion.
We had the best experience I could have imagined at Longview. Everything was perfect, exactly how we wanted it on our wedding day without out us having to lift a finger. The staff was fantastic--anticipating or every need. They were great to us and our guests. Our wedding coordnator, Mary Beth, was amazing, organized, and took our vision to heart when planning the wedding. I wouldn't have a changed a single thing about our wedding at Longview Mansion.
We used this venue for our ceremony and despite the light rain, the staff was more than accommodating for a quick change in plans! Everything was neat, clean, and organized - just as described! I would recommend to any future bride!
