The HomeStead in Oak Glen is located in the foothills of the San Bernardino mountains. It's just a short jump off the 10 freeway on your way to Palm Springs. This charming and vintage property provides a welcoming atmosphere. From the backdrop of our heritage apple orchard to our tree-shaded reception area, it will be a day you will be proud to call your own. Here at the HomeStead we pride ourselves on not being copy and paste, each wedding here is built around the couples individualized style and vision. Due to our elevation (4,750ft), we have Season's! Our Spring is lush and green (last weekend of April thru mid-July). Summer is generally temperate (late July to August), and in Fall, the colors are eye-catching (September thru mid-November). Weddings are not scheduled from the last week in November through mid-April, but we are open for tours and visits throughout the year. WOW. I sincerely can’t believe how much we lucked out finding the Homestead. This venue is a true stand-out in service, quality, and communication. If you want a stress-free, enjoyable, and memorable wedding experience, these are the people to go with! The whole Homestead team was so welcoming towards us from day one, even before we had officially booked. My fiancee and I had scoured online for wedding venues, but many of them were indistinguishable from each other. After seeing the Homestead’s pictures, I knew that this place would have the unique and vintage flair we were looking for. As soon as we finished our in-person tour with Lexi, we immediately got in the car and booked. There were SO many highlights of our planning experience (and actual wedding!), but I’ll put our favorites below:
The venue is in Oak Glen and gives the experience of being in the mountains without the drive all the way up! We got married in the summer and were so thankful for the altitude making the day a cooler temperature. The venue is STUNNING and has so many fun antiques and vintage decor that are perfect for photos. The “getting ready” spaces for the bride and groom are a great size and make for really fun photo opportunities as well. It was the perfect place for all of us to hang out beforehand. The ceremony space and reception space being next to each other was super convenient for guests. There are so many fun areas to explore, like the bar, fireplace, and back photo booth area (all filled with gorgeous foliage!). It feels like getting lost in a storybook!
They have multiple food options. We went with Tacos and Beer as our food vendor and it was some of the BEST Mexican food I’ve had. Everyone raved about it afterwards! They also offered vegetarian and vegan options for our guests with dietary needs. The Homestead also offers pie AND cake, which our guests loved for the variety! The pie was seriously the best that we’ve had, and we want to go visit the bakery again to take a full one home!
As far as decorations go, the Homestead offers adorable table decor, plateware, napkins, tablecloths, and more to choose from. They also have their own florist, who created beautiful bouquets for our special day. I loved being able to choose from their stock while still having the freedom to bring our own signs and photos (but really, they include nearly everything you need for the big day as part of their package). It made planning stress-free, which was very important to us in the whole process.
Lastly, the staff was INCREDIBLE. Lexi, Paula, April, and Monica have truly created something special here. They got back to us quickly with questions and were very helpful in reminding us of deadlines throughout the process. The team keeps you on track with all of the kindness and care that you would want for such a memorable day. They are total experts and have weddings down to a perfect science.
I truly believe this is THE PLACE to book. My wedding day could not have been more perfect, and I would rave about The Homestead for pages if I could. Thank you to everyone at The Homestead for what you do!

Just had my wedding here last night and since then I have been showered with compliments from guests who were in awe of how beautiful the venue is and how attentive Paula and her staff were. My partner and I felt like VIPs sitting in the sweetheart booth getting doted on by the wait staff. The fact that the venue is inclusive of florals, catering, music, and more is simply unmatched and we loved that The Homestead didn’t feel like a corporately owned venue—they seemed to be really invested in making sure we were happy and as stress free as possible. The bride whisperers were also just amazing. If you like venues with a rustic look surrounded by beautiful landscapes and personal touches galore, this is the venue for you!

My husband and I got married in October of 2022 and we still talk about The Homestead. The venue is gorgeous and the all inclusive packaging made everything so easy. The staff were all so sweet and made it feel like you were being invited into their home. I always joke with my husband that we need to do our wedding over again just so we can spend more time at the Homestead. Just book with them! They are absolutely worth it.

The HomeStead was absolutely amazing! From when we schedule our consultation to get information about the venue all the way to our wedding day! Paula and Lexi were so helpful every step of the way, and made the wedding planning process a breeze! The venue is perfect and was everything we could have asked for and then some! My husband and I highly recommend The HomeStead, having our wedding here was the best decision! We look forward to visiting everyone at their next open house!
We got married in spring 2023 and absolutely LOVED The Homestead as our venue. My husband and I often like to say, "We did a lot of things right with our wedding, and the number one thing we did right was choose The Homestead." The venue itself is STUNNING at magic hour, and the apple orchard town of Oak Glen is so charming and gorgeous. The layout of the space is very clever, moving people along from the ceremony to the reception in an intuitive process. And all the amenities were exactly what we needed and BEYOND. (Having access to their store of decorations was particularly helpful!) But beyond that, their personalized attention to detail, the care and kindness, the sense of humor, the efficiency, expertise, and overall competence -- it was first-rate and we couldn't have asked for more from Paula and her fabulous team. Of course there are always nerves and questions surrounding the big day, but Paula and the Homestead staff were incredibly patient, calming, collaborative, and flexible -- they worked with us to do a few unique things with our wedding (like hauling in a ping pong table to the dance floor so we could do a ping pong game as our "first dance"!) and they offered tons of ideas, advice, and support. We especially loved how The Homestead had their wedding-planning system down to a science -- they really know what they're doing, and that became exceptionally clear on our big day when everything went off so smoothly without even the slightest hint of a hitch. We were seemingly effortlessly whisked around from activity to activity on the day of our wedding, and it was all managed so smoothly and calmly, we felt so cared for and over the moon! But that said, they're not overly rigid -- if you have creative ideas, they can work with you to think outside the box! We also loved the food (we went with the Mexican dinner option) which was so beautifully displayed -- we got tons of compliments on it from our guests! And their DJ was a huge hit -- everyone loved him! I could go on and on... in short, we cannot say enough good things about the Homestead and we are THRILLED that we chose them for our perfect wedding day!

They took care of everything! The night ran so smoothly and it was everything I could've ever asked for! Such a beautiful and private venue! The HomeStead in Oak Glen is an AMAZING venue! We were immediately taken in by the beauty of this venue, and knew this was the place for us. The HomeStead is like one stop shopping for weddings - so much was included in their package, that pretty much all we needed was a dress, a tux, an officiant and a photographer. During the planning session, we said we wanted a 1950's inspired wedding and The HomeStead was totally on board - even going as far as having the staff wear 1950's inspired waitress and soda jerk uniforms. They were quick to understand the theme and overall look we were going for, and offer suggestions to make our wedding the best day ever. Our wedding was to be July 22, and when we told them we wanted to do something special for my sisters who were married July 20 and July 21 (several years ago), they were enthusiastic to offer ideas and suggestions. DJ Milo came up with the best idea to play their First Dance songs and my sisters and their husbands joined my husband and I on the dance floor as we all danced to their songs. Thanks DJ Milo! My sisters were happily surprised! On the day of the wedding, we were not at all stressed and were able to enjoy our day, because The HomeStead had everything taken care of. All we had to do was show up! While we were getting ready, The HomeStead team was busy setting up and decorating for our wedding. And it was so beautiful!! All of our guests said this was the best wedding they've been to, and so much fun!
Huge thanks to Paula, the Wedding Coordinator, for making our day so amazing; thanks to DJ Milo for making it such a fun party; thanks to Lisa the florist for her amazing, colorful floral arrangements; thanks to Lisa the Bride Whisperer for being our right hand woman of the day and helping with anything we needed during the ceremony and reception; thank you to Lexi for helping us with rehearsal and answering every question we had; and finally, thank you to all staff for participating in our theme and making our day so wonderful.

The HomeStead is a stunning venue with excellent service. Paula was very clear and communicative. We got to the cottages very early in the day and they took care of us. It rained when we were supposed to start the ceremony a d Paula and her team were all over it. They checked forecasts for when we would have a break, adjusted timelines real time and kept us where we needed to be. They covered all the dinner tables with plastic and even changed out the dinnerware when it rained again right after they had uncovered everything. I hardly even saw the team but they were on top of everything. Couldn't have found a more beautiful to get married!

You took care of everything and made sure Carlos and I ate, made an appearance at the photo booth, had a cocktail in hand 😉 Found a lost charm within minutes... I could literally go on. Ps thank you for fluffing my dress throughout the photos post ceremony!! My photos are even more beautiful because of that!! The DJ absolutely KILLED it!! So many people danced and the only thing we would have changed would be to add another hour of dancing!! All of the songs sent to him were played perfectly. Our house mom for the morning to ceremony was so sweet. Constantly filling the water and juices, providing snacks and checking in on us regularly! Now flowers… again they were also perfect!! So beautiful, truly. And my bouquet smelled phenomenal as well. Thank you to the HomeStead family for your hospitality and ensuring we had the absolute best day of our lives!!
If you are searching for a venue, look no further, truly!! They provide everything you need really, I didn’t want to have to deal with a bunch of different vendors so that was a huge selling point for us personally and boy did it pay off.
The Homestead is simply AMAZING! My husband and I couldn’t have picked a better place to get married. The venue itself if beautiful, but that wasn’t even the best part. Paula, and her staff went above and beyond for us. They treated us like FAMILY. From planning day to the wedding day, they had it all covered. The Homestead did everything to accommodate all of our requests. From the DJ, to the flowers, catering and staff they made everything flow seamlessly. We felt at home there and our family and friends did as well. Our guests kept complimenting how beautiful the venue was and how well they were being treated by the staff. My daughter's first anniversary is this weekend since her wonderful wedding at the Homestead a year ago. Believe me, I know, that money is an issue with most weddings. But I have never spent money in a better way than by booking this venue. It was priceless and so worth it!
As parents of only one daughter, we wanted this day to be perfect for her. A day that she would always fondly remember and cherish. We shopped around and viewed other sites and wedding venues before choosing Homestead. Some were more expensive and some less, but none had the special feeling that Homestead had from the moment we first visited. Before we even spoke to anyone, my daughter knew that this was the place for her.
Paula and Lexi and staff worked very hard to make this day more amazing than we ever could have imagined. The scheduling, planning, catering, music and everything else was taken care of by the Homestead. We chose the food, beverages, decorations, songs, etc. and watched them magically and meticulously put it all together. They made everyone’s experience so enjoyable and special! They know how to do it right.
The wedding was held during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic and amidst the horrible fires in Oak Glen, where from day to day we didn’t know if the wedding was a “go” or “no go.” Paula was available daily for updates which made everything less stressful.
We hung in there, telling relatives from Georgia to Oregon to come, we are having the wedding! And what a wedding it was! We will always be grateful to the Homestead for making the wedding so spectacular!
If you’re looking for a wedding venue that has a good, down-home country feel to it, a place where you can dance under the stars, sip lemonade and roast marshmallows, a place where great attention is given to detail and a place where you get to choose all the fun wedding things and trimmings. If you're looking for a wedding venue right now, and you desire to have the most AMAZING wedding day, free from stress, in an absolutely beautiful and unique place, where your guests are relaxed and having so much fun, DELICIOUS FOOD, with professionals who literally think of EVERY detail and are mindful of you the entire day and gracious with your guests, also a venue with a ridiculously reasonable prices-- I'm doing you a favor by telling you to book The Homestead. My son and his new wife just married there last week and we are still talking about how the venue and staff made it the perfect day. I'll talk later about the process (that's genius by the the way). The venue itself is so unique- I would love to just live there. It's so beautiful, relaxing and decorated in such a way that guests just roam around enjoying the amazing way it's put together and decorated. The brides house reminds me of my grandma's house, the atmosphere in there is so relaxing, enjoyable and just puts you at ease. They have a great area for hair and makeup and a really nice size bathroom, sitting area for the bride with a full length mirror, a separate sitting area ( like grandma's living room), a snack area, kitchen, etc... it's the cutest place ever. The grooms cabin couldn't be any more perfect, stocked with snacks and things to keep the guys busy, and a deck for them to enjoy. The flowers were gorgeous and Lisa the florist is just the sweetest (you'll love her), the DJ is just the nicest person, easy to work with and kept things moving in a timely way, THE FOOD is beyond delicious, especially for a wedding. The Jalapeno poppers, Fried Mac and cheese bites, and the chicken salad on apple slices are all still being talked about. Dinner was just as amazing (not your normal stuffy wedding food). The staff is just moving around constantly taking care of every detail so you can really take in the moments, have fun with your guests. Rehearsal was a breeze, simple, detailed instructions for all involved without being overwhelming. Before you get to the wedding they set up a "Planning Day" that's a 4 hour day where you plan every detail of your wedding. It literally is the most fun experience where you spend a little bit of time with DJ, floral, caterer and lastly the contract info. And then you are basically "done" they take it from there. And if that wasn't easy enough, they set it all up for you, tear it down for you, you pick out decorations from THEIR warehouse, unless you want to use something you've bought. But it's nice that you can use their decor and not have to buy tons of things you'll have to put on marketplace afterwards to sell. They use REAL dishes (not plastic like some venues). And they tear it all down and have an area for you to pick up anything that you brought. EASIEST PROCESS EVER. These folks feel like family when you're done and you're just so grateful that they made the most special day in your son and new daughters life one they will never forget. Just do it, book them. You will NOT regret it.
We got married at the Homestead in May or 2017 and words can't express how amazing it was!!! They made the whole planning process so easy and stress-free. They let us cater our package and selections to our budget and exactly what we wanted, while making it an incredibly streamlined process. Not to mention the venue itself is absolutely magical. Everywhere you look you're surrounded by so much natural beauty, along with the beautiful touches they have added everywhere. Can't say enough good things about the Homestead. Our wedding was a DREAM!
When I started planning my wedding, I had a vague idea of what I wanted but I struggled with the full vision of it. Then we attended one of The Homestead's open houses and all the pieces just came together. The location is immaculate, with a perfect backdrop of hills, surrounding flowers and trees that are just so gorgeous and a perfectly planned layout. Then I met the amazing team there, told them what I had in mind (again those vague ideas) and after that literally did nothing. I'm okay with saying, I was the type of bride who wanted to make the minimal effort to get the maximum effect and HOLY COW. We showed up on the day of and the venue was an absolute dream. Stunning florals EXACTLY as I dreamed they would be, the most thoughtful decorations, the most helpful staff, the most delicious food (still thinking about that Oak Glen apple salad) and just overall, perfect. I received so many compliments on the venue, food & music, and still do, and I repeat, I did absolutely NOTHING to contribute to the success of the evening - it was literally all The Homestead and it's amazing staff. I am so so happy we chose this venue and so so grateful for The Homestead for making our wedding absolutely perfect!
My wedding at the Homestead was truly the best day that my husband and I could have ever asked for! The venue is so beautiful and it really felt like home! The decor, the food, the ceremony space, even the getting ready space was all out of a dream! The staff is so helpful as well and i really didn’t feel stress leading up to the day because the staff walked us through every step of the way! I really couldn’t imagine a more perfect place to get married!
The HomeStead staff went above and beyond in EVERY detail of my wedding! They made planning go so smoothly and on the day of the wedding I didn’t have to worry about anything. My husband and I just got married at the Homestead and there is no other place we could have imagined saying our "I DO's"! The venue is all inclusive and the vendors they work with are simply the best! It made the whole experience so much better! The professionalism and communication we received during Covid was just amazing. Going through Covid and trying to plan a wedding is not an easy task but Paula and her team made it almost effortless on our part! She would send email updates and was sure to check in once a month to calm this brides nerves!
Emilio the DJ kept the party going and I was dancing all night with my guests! The food was prepared by Chef Henry and was so delicious! We had a choice between cake, pie or bundt cakes for our dessert. We choose pie and we had a small cake so we could still do our cake cutting! The Homestead provided coffee so our guests could enjoy pie and coffee on a cool October night under the stars. It was beautiful! Ashley the bartender told us exactly how much alcohol and mixers we needed so we were not over spending on drinks that would go to waste. Nadine the florist took our ideas and pictures and turned them into a reality and then some! They even have a Photo Booth with props! Your guest receive a bookmark with their pictures and at the end of the night we received a book with all our guests pictures! You even have a choice to get popcorn, s'mores or rootbeer floats! My husband LOVES popcorn so this was a nice addition to our day.
Paula and her team have been doing weddings for a very long time and know exactly what they are doing! They have a bridal cottage and a grooms cabin for the wedding party to get ready in. There was plenty of workspace for my hair and makeup stylist to set up. They provide a "worker bee" to stay with you and help you with whatever you need. They have a large selection of colors for the tables settings and venue decorations so no two weddings are the same. Our wedding was absolutely spectacular and we would not have changed a thing! Our guests are still raving about how this was the best wedding they have ever been too. We can not thank The Homestead enough for making our day the best day EVER!
I don't even know where to begin! I can't say enough positive things about the HomeStead to do it justice! The HomeStead was the very first venue we looked at and the only venue we looked at for a reason! From the moment we met Paula and she showed us the venue in its entirety, we immediately knew it was the one! The property alone is absolutely gorgeous! Paula, Don and the entire staff at The HomeStead made the entire process of planning a wedding so easy, enjoyable and fun! They literally did EVERYTHING for us from start to finish! Never were we overwhelmed or stressed with wedding planning, and we owe that all to them! They made the "Planning Day" at the venue so much fun! We got to meet all our vendors, try the food and get an idea of all the decor for the wedding day. Honestly, I put my trust completely in Paula and her team because everything they did was STUNNING and PERFECT! The HomeStead was always available to answer any questions throughout the process and their response time was very quick. The wedding weekend finally arrived and we didn't have to worry about a thing. From our rehearsal day to the actual wedding send off, everything was handled with care and professionalism. I couldn't believe how smooth everything went. The HomeStead added so much detail, love, and charm to our wedding that made it absolutely BEAUTIFUL! From the moment we arrived to get ready on the day of the wedding, our "house mom", Dina, was AMAZING and so caring to my entire bridal party. She took care of us and the guys from start to finish, with WHATEVER we needed! Honestly, I could go on for days about how wonderful The HomeStead is. We have heard nothing but positive feedback from all of our guests since the wedding and we have The HomeStead to thank for that! Everyone has told us, it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to. We can not wait to come back and visit The HomeStead and all the wonderful people that work there, because they made us feel like family! Where to start...The Homestead is the absolute, most perfect wedding venue and I'm so glad that I booked with them. I remember going to visit for a tour and when I arrived, my heart filled with joy and I couldn't stop smiling. My husband (fiancé at the time) already knew it was the one when he saw the look on my face & I knew I was right! With everything going on (COVID and the fires in Oak Glen), Paula, Lexi & The Homestead staff were there every step of the way making sure that I was updated with the latest news and making sure I stayed calm and relaxed before the big day. They answered all of my questions immediately and always emailed me whenever a slight change had to happen. I couldn't have asked for better coordinators, especially for my wedding! The day of was PERFECT. I can't even begin to put into words to explain how perfect my wedding was because of The Homestead. Paula, is freaking amazing...you seriously can't get any better than her. I am not kidding, I love her. Lexi is the sweetest and Don is quite the handyman. All of the little worker bees were so nice and made sure that I had no worries the day of. They made sure I was happy, well fed, and not stressed. I swear to you, I was NOT stressed that entire day. I was so happy and nervous, which was a given, but never ever stressed. I heard brides are normally freaking out because things weren't going the way they wanted...but not me, everything went according to planned and even better. Even if it didn't, I wouldn't have probably cared because that's how amazingly happy I was with Paula and The Homestead. Seriously, thank you thank you thank you! I'm extremely grateful for them and for meeting them. They seriously made the best day, THE BEST DAY. And the venue itself, beautiful and breathtaking. It literally gave off rustic vibes, which is what I aimed for. Friends and family still keep talking about how our wedding was the wedding of the year and the best venue they've ever been to. I hope any of my friends get married here because I would love to come visit and see the venue as a guest. If not, I'll just visit during my anniversary so it's a win-win situation regardless. :)
My husband and I had our wedding at The Homestead and it definitely did not disappoint. This venue has basically everything we wanted (beautiful ceremony space, large reception hall, a florist, a DJ, a bar space, a photo booth, and various options for desserts). Paula (the wedding coordinator) is very communicative and answered all my questions. They're also very flexible and allowed for outside vendors (we were able to have both a churro cart and a boba bar!) They also allowed for us to use some of the space for games to help entertain our guests. I feel as though all these extra touches were only possible because Paula and everyone else at the Homestead handled the other details on their end so that my husband and I could add the things that we wanted. We would definitely recommend The Homestead!

I can’t say enough about the Homestead. If you want a wedding and a reception that is beautiful and darn near stress-free, this is the place for you. It is almost like one stop shopping. They took the time to get to know us enough that everything was decorated to our taste. The brides cottage and the grooms cottage were delightful places for the wedding party to hang out and get ready. Having someone there at all times to make sure that everything we needed was being taken care of was invaluable. Keeping us fed and hydrated was also appreciated! For our wedding, everything went off without a hitch. Obviously this was not their first rodeo! At the Homestead we were able to concentrate on our ceremony and afterwords having fun and celebrating with our guests. After all, those are the important parts. The Homestead took care of most everything else. Highly recommended!

The Homestead made our wedding day beyond amazing! We got married 9.9.18 and this is an overdue review. (Sorry!) Words can't describe how grateful we are for Paula and the whole team. The venue reflected our personalities and all our guests loved it! Few of my guests dreamed of getting married at Homestead. The wedding planning was easier than I expected because of their excellent work and accommodations with our schedules and preferences. Everyone are the best of what they do. My husband and I are very happy that we chose The Homestead and all its vendors. Dj Milo is such a fun and entertaining dj/host, Nadine is amazing with our bouquet and all other decors, Chef Henry and the Haverland crew did an incredible job with the food, Our wedding cake from Michelle's bakery was perfection, Lexi is such a nice person to work with that took care of our photobooth and did our first tour, and hands down to Paula for taking care of us throughout the entire wedding planning. They will let you decide on everything you want for your wedding but their suggestions are golden too. All of our questions via email were answered promptly. And to everyone else that we worked with on our wedding day that weren't mentioned, we are thankful for all of you. Wedding planning and preparation is already stressful, but we are blessed to pick The Homestead as our venue for it made our special day the best ever! We still dream about our wedding because Homestead is simply amazing!
My husband and I searched high and low for our wedding venue and once we visited the homestead we knew that was it! It was our dream venue and all the staff there are amazing! They were super accommodating with any ideas we came up with for our big day and were so helpful! The day of, everyone there stayed on top of everything and made us feel very calm and able to enjoy getting ready. Everything they decorated looked beautiful. I wish we could get married there all over again!
Paula, Don and all of the Staff at the Homestead made our wedding a day even better than we could have imagined. My now husband and I, ventured to The Homestead at the recommendation of one of his co-workers. When we walked onto the grounds, my breath was instantly taken away and I looked at him and said "this is where I'm going to marry you". It was beautiful, and serene, and that's just the beginning! Paula and her crew are AMAZING. They take care of everything and make it all seem effortless. Everything was handled, exactly like we wanted and our day was perfect. Everyone that came to our wedding had nothing but wonderful things to say and my family raved about the day. Paula is organized, efficient, and she truly cares about her brides. It is not an exaggeration, when I say everything was flawless and we had the perfect day. My only grievance, is that the day actually had to end. If you're looking for a venue that is beautiful, if you want the day to be stress free and lovely, and if you want to be able to savor each moment of your wedding, then go with The Homestead; you will not regret it!
The HomeStead made my perfect wedding day come true. If you are looking for a place that you can truly feel confident that everything will turn out beautiful this is the place you should book with. The venue is beautiful all on its own without even having the wedding decor up. You truly feel the beauty of nature and it’s a little piece of heaven in Southern California. Once you book with them you go in for your appointment to talk about music, food, decor, flowers, photo booth, etc. They are so open to listening to whatever you want and truly giving you the perfect day.
The day of the wedding I could not have felt more like a princess. Everyone is asking you what you need and genuinely ready to help with whatever you may ask for. My husband and I were married here June 30th, 2018 and I seriously can NOT say enough about this venue!!!!... I would give them 100 stars if I could. EVERYTHING WAS SO BEAUTIFUL... Paula and her team were so attentive, made everything feel like a dream... everything felt like it came straight from Pinterest. It was so insanely perfect I want to cry writing this now... the way they have everything set up, to the team they choose for your catering, flowers, dj, coordinators, and down to the photographer they suggested were just superb. I have never heard so many positive reviews from guests attending a wedding saying how beautiful a wedding was was, how perfect every detail was, AND how AMAZING the food was, seriously just wow.. No bias here since it was our wedding, I have attended many wedding and never heard this many positive reviews... the fact that they do everything for you, the set up, clean up, picking all the vendors, etc, made the day so laid back. This venue is perfect for a beautiful rustic outdoor wedding. They have thought of every detail, down to the last mason jar. For the price point you truly get your money’s worth. We got married in October and could not have asked for a better time of year. The venue is very well organized and everything ran according to plan.
I can't even explain how amazing and effortless Paula and her team at the Homestead made our wedding. It was a pretty hectic morning. When we arrived our daughter broke our cake topper! I was so upset, but Paula totally fixed it and I ensured me not to even think about it or stress over it. She was totally right! You couldn't even tell. My husband and I also changed our first dance song the day of the wedding and they totally accommodated. I loved how personal they made our wedding. Every nook and cranny of the venue had a special piece of us. All of our guests commented how it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever attended. The food was amazing and I loved the photo booth. We had a lot of kids at our wedding and they really loved the smores. I had some pretty interesting requests and Paula and her team totally made them all happen. I honestly couldn't be happier!

It literally only takes 1 day to plan 95% of your wedding, you meet with all the vendors including the talented florist Nadine, she is so kind and willing to do whatever it takes to obtain your vision! You meet with the caterer, coordinator and the DJ, all in the same day!
The other reviews are correct they aren't the best at returning emails usually takes 5-7 days to respond, but in all honesty they have everything under control and give you all the information upfront! so, just TRUST the process and put your faith in Amie, Paula, and April and let them create your dream wedding.

My first impression of this venue was "Wow! I just fell in love" When we were taking a look at venues, The Homestead was still in the back of my head saying "pick me. pick me" Our wedding was absolutely perfect because we chose The Homestead! We picked The Homestead because of its rustic charm and beautiful outdoor views of the mountains. As a May wedding, we assumed it could be a bit chilly, but overall a beautiful day. However, what we did not expect was that there would be not only rain, but hail on our beautiful outdoor ceremony. With this, you would think the wedding could turn into a disaster. It was quite the opposite. Paula and her staff worked so well together, and everything ran so smoothly no one seemed to mind the crazy weather. The venue is absolutely breathtaking and has a charm that is sure to make anyone feel at home when they are there. I have no complaints for this venue, or with Paula and her staff. They are truly amazing at what they do! I plan to come back to visit just to see the beauty of it all and reminisce on one amazing, unforgettable day.
Wow, wow wow! I've always dreamed of my wedding day to be magical and perfect, which it absolutely was because of the Homestead! The venue, staff, catering, bar area and DJ were absolutely perfect and the whole entire event went smoothly! The best decision I made during the planning process was choosing The Homestead as our wedding venue! I seriously could rant all day about how incredible the day and venue was, but honestly, call Paula and schedule a tour yourself to see the magic and beauty this venue has to offer!
I do want to add that I didn't have to lift a finger on my wedding day. I have been in a ton of weddings and the bridesmaids and MOH are usually running around setting things up, making sure things are in order, etc. Not at the Homestead! They literally did everything for me! I dropped off the decorations the day before at our rehearsal and on our wedding day, the staff set everything up for me and it was BEAUTIFUL!

I honestly can't say enough good things about Paula and the the entire Homestead team!!! They were amazing from the get go and our day was perfect!!! We couldn't have asked for anything better! The package is a HUGE VALUE, so much so that they should actually start charging clients more for their services. You always hear about brides becoming "bridezilla" but because of the Homestead crew I was no where close to becoming that evil beast. The whole planning part was so easy, they had us come up for a day to taste the food (AMAZING, Haverland's food is out of this world! Not your typical "wedding" food), meet the DJ (Milo was ours and he was phenomenal), go over flowers and table arrangements with the florist Nadine (who is another one of the sweetest and most helpful people I've ever met!). For those who want to be more involved in their planning process may be a little weary by only one real face to face meeting, but Paula or the other girls are super fast at getting back to you in a timely manner, so any questions or concers you may have are put at ease. The day of was perfect but I was obviously nervous. Paula, affectionately deemed "Sarge" by my family, April, and my cottage mom (I'm so sorry but I can't remember her name :/ but she was awesome) were all a huge help, asking if I needed anything and any last minute requests made by me were done without hesitation. Thank you, thank you, thank you all for the absolute perfect day!!!!!!!!!

We got married at the Homestead October 22, 2016. It aaa defiantly my fairly tale wedding I dreamt of. Everyone is still telling me how much fun they had. All of the staff were very helpful and caring. I didn't want the tradional wedding I wanted one of a kind and The Homestead made sure it was. They did all the hard work so it helped to make a lot of the stress go away. Highly recommended venue for any bride. Just if it is during Apple season make sure to plan for extra traveling time. ; )
My family and I couldn't have been more pleased with our wedding venue. Our wedding was absolutely beautiful from start to finish! There is an adorable little cottage for all the bridal party to get ready in. The groomsman all got ready in a cabin on the property and had a great time. Paula, the main contact for the homestead, made sure all our ideas and requests were executed. They have countless decorations that you can use to make the day perfect. We went with a romantic, rustic theme and the Homstead couldn't have been more perfect for our style. Haverland catering did a great job as well. Our food was so delicious! We got a lot of compliments from our guests on our food. Nadine did our flowers and did a beautiful job. She was such a pleasure to work with and was so generous with all the flowers at our wedding. I especially loved our bouquets. Rick, our DJ, made sure the whole day went smoothly without any hiccups. He went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. Beyond all of that, the property is absolutely beautiful! With the mountain drop in the background, all the beautiful plants and detailed decor all around the property, it really made for the perfect day. We still get complements on how beautiful everything turned out. The only issue we ran into, was that we were under the impression we had to pick up our decorations the following day, and ended up having to take them the night of the wedding. That caused some issues as we were not prepared to do that, but it all worked out as the bridal party helped us gather our things. Overall, we were so pleased with the Homstead and thank them for making our dream day come true!

My husband and I got married here on Sept. 18th 2016 - Our wedding was PERFECT. There is no other way to put it. Everything went down without a hitch; not a single thing went wrong. I have zero complaints. I wouldn't change a thing. The team at The HomeStead is amazing, kind, hard working and just REALLY GOOD at what they do. I have pretty intense anxiety, but never once did I feel like I needed to be stressed about anything. The music (DJ Milo) food, flowers and decorations were all exactly what I wanted. Make sure to use the preferred vendors, because they're AMAZING! I loved my wedding so much (so did all of our guests) and It's all because of the amazing people at The Homestead! We got married at the Homestead in June. It was an absolute fairy tale wedding! Everything was perfect! Paula, Don, and the homestead staff made sure our day was perfect and all the vendors that work with the Homestead are amazing!
The one thing building up to the wedding that was stressful was trying to get ahold of Paula and keeping track of our payments.
We had our wedding at The Homestead the summer of 2015. It was amazing and we couldn’t have asked for anything better!! We both knew this was going to be our wedding venue the first time we saw it. It is so cute, rustic, charming, and the list could go on and on.
Paula was the best, she and her team did everything (and were friendly and helpful)…DJ, flowers, setup, clean up, decorations, food, photo booth, cake…Everything!! Everyone kept telling me that I was the calmest bride they had ever seen; but I had nothing to really worry about because they took care of everything. The ceremony and reception went off so smoothly with no issues. The décor they have all around was exactly what we had envisioned, and the location is perfect. It has great views of the mountains and plenty of shady trees and greenery.
Just a little insight into the planning process. You get to go up and meet separately with the DJ, florist, caterer, and Paula. Rick was our DJ and he was great! He played a good variety of music and kept the flow of the night going. Nadine was our florist, what a sweet lady. We weren’t really picky about our flowers so we let her kind of have at it, and she did great!! Haverland did our catering, and the food was so good! My husband and I got 2 plates of food to eat during the wedding, and they packed to-go boxes for us to eat afterward.
We had our rehearsal the evening before and were able to bring up all of our extra decorations and things, which took away a lot of the stress of forgetting something the morning of.
We had a wonderful wedding at the Homestead, and would do it all over again if we could. Our wedding was perfect and everything we could have dreamed of. We would definitely recommend The Homestead to any newly engaged couple!!

Paula and the staff were fantastic - professional, helpful, courteous and great at what they do. I was so thankful to be working alongside so many great folks the day of the wedding. There was not a single moment that wasn't well thought out or planned in advance. I look forward to shooting another wedding at The HomeStead. There's no shortage of beautiful parts of this venue, which means it's incredibly picturesque and relaxing place to be. Wow! Just, wow! My fiance` and I had our engagement dinner party at The Homestead and it was the most magical evening either of us could have hoped for. The location is something that looks straight out of a movie, the gorgeous canyon at sunset and lush surroundings set the perfect tone for a night that we could only have dreamed of. The staff is fabulous and had a big smile the entire time. Paula and Don, the owners, saw to it that every detail was flawless the entire evening and were constantly making sure all of our guests were happy. The decor done by Nadine, one of their preferred vendors, was breathtaking!! She certainly added the perfect touches with her attention to detail. And I can't forget the food. YUM. Their in house caterers, Henry and Margie Haverland, made a meal that our family and friends are still raving about!

If I could give Paula and her staff a 10 out of 5 stars I would!! The decor was beautiful, the food was delicious, the venue staff made sure everything stayed neat and clean, the DJ had everyone dancing, and everyone made sure I got what I wanted! The venue itself is all out doors and has a vintage feel to it. The flowers, decor, cake, DJ, coordintor, and main course food is all included. The all inclusive way is the way to go. My friends and family told me that I was the least stressed bride they had ever encountered and I owe it ALL to this venue. They have their own photo booth and so many creative and original ideas. I have gotten nothing but amazing complements from people who have told me that it's the best wedding they had ever been to.
Such an amazing place. I fell in love with it 3 years before I got married there. Paula, the owner, is absolutely wonderful and her staff is so professional. It was the best day of my life thanks to the homestead!
I had an amazing experience at the Homestead. Paula and Don that run it know what they are doing and I was in the best hands the day of my wedding. Their packages takes care of all the little things I found most venues do not cover. They were excited to hear about our biology wedding theme and our plan to have a bird of prey as the ring bearer. They have an amazing staff and the day went without a hitch. We got so many compliments from the guests on the venue and the setting. The venue is all outdoors but the main areas are paved so sinking heels are not an issue. They are always improving upon the amazing accommodations they have. They plan on building a barn in the near future to plan for indoor receptions in case of bad weather. The fall is the best season for their venue because the scenery is lush and green and the apple orchards are ready for picking.
