You took care of everything and made sure Carlos and I ate, made an appearance at the photo booth, had a cocktail in hand 😉 Found a lost charm within minutes... I could literally go on. Ps thank you for fluffing my dress throughout the photos post ceremony!! My photos are even more beautiful because of that!! The DJ absolutely KILLED it!! So many people danced and the only thing we would have changed would be to add another hour of dancing!! All of the songs sent to him were played perfectly. Our house mom for the morning to ceremony was so sweet. Constantly filling the water and juices, providing snacks and checking in on us regularly! Now flowers… again they were also perfect!! So beautiful, truly. And my bouquet smelled phenomenal as well. Thank you to the HomeStead family for your hospitality and ensuring we had the absolute best day of our lives!! If you are searching for a venue, look no further, truly!! They provide everything you need really, I didn’t want to have to deal with a bunch of different vendors so that was a huge selling point for us personally and boy did it pay off.

ILY. From planning day to the wedding day, they had it all covered. The Homestead did everything to accommodate all of our requests. From the DJ, to the flowers, catering and staff they made everything flow seamlessly. We felt at home there and our family and friends did as well. Our guests kept complimenting how beautiful the venue was and how well they were being treated by the staff. Thank you so much, The Homestead!!! You gave us the wedding beyond our dreams.

was priceless and so worth it! As parents of only one daughter, we wanted this day to be perfect for her. A day that she would always fondly remember and cherish. We shopped around and viewed other sites and wedding venues before choosing Homestead. Some were more expensive and some less, but none had the special feeling that Homestead had from the moment we first visited. Before we even spoke to anyone, my daughter knew that this was the place for her. Paula and Lexi and staff worked very hard to make this day more amazing than we ever could have imagined. The scheduling, planning, catering, music and everything else was taken care of by the Homestead. We chose the food, beverages, decorations, songs, etc. and watched them magically and meticulously put it all together. They made everyone’s experience so enjoyable and special! They know how to do it right. The wedding was held during the height of the Covid-19 pandemic and amidst the horrible fires in Oak Glen, where from day to day we didn’t know if the wedding was a “go” or “no go.” Paula was available daily for updates which made everything less stressful. We hung in there, telling relatives from Georgia to Oregon to come, we are having the wedding! And what a wedding it was! We will always be grateful to the Homestead for making the wedding so spectacular! If you’re looking for a wedding venue that has a good, down-home country feel to it, a place where you can dance under the stars, sip lemonade and roast marshmallows, a place where great attention is given to detail and a place where you get to choose all the fun wedding things and trimmings. I would highly recommend the Homestead in Oak Glen, CA. They will take excellent care of your special day.

fessionals who literally think of EVERY detail and are mindful of you the entire day and gracious with your guests, also a venue with a ridiculously reasonable prices-- I'm doing you a favor by telling you to book The Homestead. My son and his new wife just married there last week and we are still talking about how the venue and staff made it the perfect day. I'll talk later about the process (that's genius by the the way). The venue itself is so unique- I would love to just live there. It's so beautiful, relaxing and decorated in such a way that guests just roam around enjoying the amazing way it's put together and decorated. The brides house reminds me of my grandma's house, the atmosphere in there is so relaxing, enjoyable and just puts you at ease. They have a great area for hair and makeup and a really nice size bathroom, sitting area for the bride with a full length mirror, a separate sitting area ( like grandma's living room), a snack area, kitchen, etc... it's the cutest place ever. The grooms cabin couldn't be any more perfect, stocked with snacks and things to keep the guys busy, and a deck for them to enjoy. The flowers were gorgeous and Lisa the florist is just the sweetest (you'll love her), the DJ is just the nicest person, easy to work with and kept things moving in a timely way, THE FOOD is beyond delicious, especially for a wedding. The Jalapeno poppers, Fried Mac and cheese bites, and the chicken salad on apple slices are all still being talked about. Dinner was just as amazing (not your normal stuffy wedding food). The staff is just moving around constantly taking care of every detail so you can really take in the moments, have fun with your guests. Rehearsal was a breeze, simple, detailed instructions for all involved without being overwhelming. Before you get to the wedding they set up a "Planning Day" that's a 4 hour day where you plan every detail of your wedding. It literally is the most fun experience where you spend a little bit of time with DJ, floral, caterer and lastly the contract info. And then you are basically "done" they take it from there. And if that wasn't easy enough, they set it all up for you, tear it down for you, you pick out decorations from THEIR warehouse, unless you want to use something you've bought. But it's nice that you can use their decor and not have to buy tons of things you'll have to put on marketplace afterwards to sell. They use REAL dishes (not plastic like some venues). And they tear it all down and have an area for you to pick up anything that you brought. EASIEST PROCESS EVER. These folks feel like family when you're done and you're just so grateful that they made the most special day in your son and new daughters life one they will never forget. Just do it, book them. You will NOT regret it.

Then I met the amazing team there, told them what I had in mind (again those vague ideas) and after that literally did nothing. I'm okay with saying, I was the type of bride who wanted to make the minimal effort to get the maximum effect and HOLY COW. We showed up on the day of and the venue was an absolute dream. Stunning florals EXACTLY as I dreamed they would be, the most thoughtful decorations, the most helpful staff, the most delicious food (still thinking about that Oak Glen apple salad) and just overall, perfect. I received so many compliments on the venue, food & music, and still do, and I repeat, I did absolutely NOTHING to contribute to the success of the evening - it was literally all The Homestead and it's amazing staff. I am so so happy we chose this venue and so so grateful for The Homestead for making our wedding absolutely perfect!

r! The professionalism and communication we received during Covid was just amazing. Going through Covid and trying to plan a wedding is not an easy task but Paula and her team made it almost effortless on our part! She would send email updates and was sure to check in once a month to calm this brides nerves! Emilio the DJ kept the party going and I was dancing all night with my guests! The food was prepared by Chef Henry and was so delicious! We had a choice between cake, pie or bundt cakes for our dessert. We choose pie and we had a small cake so we could still do our cake cutting! The Homestead provided coffee so our guests could enjoy pie and coffee on a cool October night under the stars. It was beautiful! Ashley the bartender told us exactly how much alcohol and mixers we needed so we were not over spending on drinks that would go to waste. Nadine the florist took our ideas and pictures and turned them into a reality and then some! They even have a Photo Booth with props! Your guest receive a bookmark with their pictures and at the end of the night we received a book with all our guests pictures! You even have a choice to get popcorn, s'mores or rootbeer floats! My husband LOVES popcorn so this was a nice addition to our day. Paula and her team have been doing weddings for a very long time and know exactly what they are doing! They have a bridal cottage and a grooms cabin for the wedding party to get ready in. There was plenty of workspace for my hair and makeup stylist to set up. They provide a "worker bee" to stay with you and help you with whatever you need. They have a large selection of colors for the tables settings and venue decorations so no two weddings are the same. Our wedding was absolutely spectacular and we would not have changed a thing! Our guests are still raving about how this was the best wedding they have ever been too. We can not thank The Homestead enough for making our day the best day EVER!

From the moment we arrived to get ready on the day of the wedding, our "house mom", Dina, was AMAZING and so caring to my entire bridal party. She took care of us and the guys from start to finish, with WHATEVER we needed! Honestly, I could go on for days about how wonderful The HomeStead is. We have heard nothing but positive feedback from all of our guests since the wedding and we have The HomeStead to thank for that! Everyone has told us, it was the BEST wedding they have ever been to. We can not wait to come back and visit The HomeStead and all the wonderful people that work there, because they made us feel like family! With everything going on (COVID and the fires in Oak Glen), Paula, Lexi & The Homestead staff were there every step of the way making sure that I was updated with the latest news and making sure I stayed calm and relaxed before the big day. They answered all of my questions immediately and always emailed me whenever a slight change had to happen. I couldn't have asked for better coordinators, especially for my wedding! The day of was PERFECT. I can't even begin to put into words to explain how perfect my wedding was because of The Homestead. Paula, is freaking amazing...you seriously can't get any better than her. I am not kidding, I love her. Lexi is the sweetest and Don is quite the handyman. All of the little worker bees were so nice and made sure that I had no worries the day of. They made sure I was happy, well fed, and not stressed. I swear to you, I was NOT stressed that entire day. I was so happy and nervous, which was a given, but never ever stressed. I heard brides are normally freaking out because things weren't going the way they wanted...but not me, everything went according to planned and even better. Even if it didn't, I wouldn't have probably cared because that's how amazingly happy I was with Paula and The Homestead. Seriously, thank you thank you thank you! I'm extremely grateful for them and for meeting them. They seriously made the best day, THE BEST DAY. And the venue itself, beautiful and breathtaking. It literally gave off rustic vibes, which is what I aimed for. Friends and family still keep talking about how our wedding was the wedding of the year and the best venue they've ever been to. I hope any of my friends get married here because I would love to come visit and see the venue as a guest. If not, I'll just visit during my anniversary so it's a win-win situation regardless. :)

They're also very flexible and allowed for outside vendors (we were able to have both a churro cart and a boba bar!) They also allowed for us to use some of the space for games to help entertain our guests. I feel as though all these extra touches were only possible because Paula and everyone else at the Homestead handled the other details on their end so that my husband and I could add the things that we wanted. We would definitely recommend The Homestead!

Having someone there at all times to make sure that everything we needed was being taken care of was invaluable. Keeping us fed and hydrated was also appreciated! For our wedding, everything went off without a hitch. Obviously this was not their first rodeo! At the Homestead we were able to concentrate on our ceremony and afterwords having fun and celebrating with our guests. After all, those are the important parts. The Homestead took care of most everything else. Highly recommended!

Dj Milo is such a fun and entertaining dj/host, Nadine is amazing with our bouquet and all other decors, Chef Henry and the Haverland crew did an incredible job with the food, Our wedding cake from Michelle's bakery was perfection, Lexi is such a nice person to work with that took care of our photobooth and did our first tour, and hands down to Paula for taking care of us throughout the entire wedding planning. They will let you decide on everything you want for your wedding but their suggestions are golden too. All of our questions via email were answered promptly. And to everyone else that we worked with on our wedding day that weren't mentioned, we are thankful for all of you. Wedding planning and preparation is already stressful, but we are blessed to pick The Homestead as our venue for it made our special day the best ever! We still dream about our wedding because Homestead is simply amazing!

Once you book with them you go in for your appointment to talk about music, food, decor, flowers, photo booth, etc. They are so open to listening to whatever you want and truly giving you the perfect day. The day of the wedding I could not have felt more like a princess. Everyone is asking you what you need and genuinely ready to help with whatever you may ask for. I love that there is only one wedding a day there and they can truly focus on just your wedding. I am so thankful for Paula and all of the staff for making the whole wedding planning process so easy for me. I was blown away by how beautiful everything was and wish I could relive that day over and over again. If you are thinking about booking with them, try to go out to one of their open houses and I guarantee you will fall in love with it.

I have never heard so many positive reviews from guests attending a wedding saying how beautiful a wedding was was, how perfect every detail was, AND how AMAZING the food was, seriously just wow.. No bias here since it was our wedding, I have attended many wedding and never heard this many positive reviews... the fact that they do everything for you, the set up, clean up, picking all the vendors, etc, made the day so laid back. Idk how people do all that on their own, I really don't lol. If anyone is considering having their wedding here, I PROMISE you will not regret choosing this venue and team...
