The Hudson is a luxury wedding venue and event space located in downtown Wichita, KS. Situated in the arts district on Commerce Street, this stylish venue boasts exposed brick walls, industrial-style design, and both indoor and outdoor event spaces.
The Hudson features three large event spaces, and can accommodate up to 350 seated guests, and 470 guests cocktail style, making it ideal for celebrations of all sizes and scales. The banquet room, Gatsby Hall, features brick walls, large warehouse windows, and a high ceiling with stunning chandeliers. The Atrium has charcoal-colored walls, reclaimed wood details, and ambient lighting. Its granite-topped bar is surrounded by rounded vintage-style windows, making it a stylish setting for relaxed mingling. Large French doors made from pine wood open out onto the Urban Garden, which is a perfect location for ceremonies, cocktail hours, and other events. An additional space is Studio 504, which can seat up to 60 guests for a banquet-style meal and features an outdoor patio. This intimate area is perfect for smaller gatherings, cocktail hours, and buffet set ups. There's also 2 suites for you and your loved one to get ready for the day.
The Hudson offers a wide range of services to make your wedding as easy and stress-free as possible. Their team will take care of setup and tear-down of tables and chairs, which are also provided in every package. Additional items such as linens are available for rent. You'll even have access to high-spec floor plan software to customize the floor plan to your liking. Outside caterers are welcome, and Xclusive Events manages all bar needs. They sent us lots of information on their building measurements, provided vendor recommendations, and use a platform called All Seated where you can map out your tables, decor, etc. My only complaint is that they were a few minutes late to open the doors on the wedding day. I had a pretty strict timeline to follow & this definitely caused a minor meltdown, haha! Overall, I enjoyed my experience with The Hudson!

wn. The finishing touches just took it to the next level making it Simply Elegant. Ava and Jessie were awesome at helping us prepare for the big day. Despite the many questions this stressed out Mother of the Bride/Wedding coordinator had, they put my mind at ease and never made me feel as if I had a silly question. They also had such a great rapport with the several vendors we used, thus making all the details congeal together perfectly. It was the perfect place for our family and friends to come together to celebrate this amazing life milestone. I highly recommend the Hudson.

The exposed brick & gorgeous chandelier make it super easy to decorate- you can’t go wrong because it’s already so beautiful. Ava and Jesse were amazing to work with! They’re so helpful and have great ideas. You know exactly what to expect. They’re so professional and organized but also so friendly and fun to work with. Whenever I had a question they got back to me right away! My guest count went up and they were so helpful showing me options and ideas for seating. I can’t recommend this place enough! It has exactly the look we wanted. I personally was worried the brick and concrete would mess with the acoustics like I’ve seen at other similar venues but everyone heard the toasts and music just fine!
Plus my husband loved that we could play some football for our guests while we were off taking pictures during cocktail hour.

We also chose to use the venue as both our Ceremony and Reception location and the ladies at The Hudson with their crew made the transition smooth. There is plenty of space to have a cocktail hour for guests to allow a centralized location for all parts of the wedding day.
