Absolutely stunning, when I walked into our venue on our wedding day I was shocked at how gorgeous and picture perfect everything was. The communication throughout the process was 10/10 these wonderful ladies really are professionals at what they do! The price for this venue is literally the best in town, throughout this process there was pretty much no stress on my husband and I they really take everything out of our hands and just provide everything we could have asked for and more. I’m beyond satisfied with our wedding!

Their gardens are absolutely stunning, their communication flawless, and the execution...well i couldn't feel more on top it it because of THEIR efforts. Darren had a fabulously created personal sermon that reflects who we were as a couple. He's light and funny and just plain amazing. Turned our certificate in early next morning and it was ready for us by noon! And please please please request Ashleigh photography! She is such a great poser and had us smiling and laughing all the way through. We had 33 sneak peek photos ready for us the next morning as well! Thank you so much to Meghan who was willing to video the whole wedding from my cell phone. I already miss my day already, it went so fast! Guys, you can't go wrong. I randomly came across their website when I was searching for small wedding venues in Lake Tahoe and knew right away I was going to use their services, especially after seeing nothing but 5 star reviews everywhere. There's a reason they have 5 star reviews, they are the best at what they do. The booking process was easy and not complicated. Coordinators keep in touch with you throughout the totality of the wedding planning. The packages are flexible and customizable and very fairly priced for what you get. Yeliz (the owner) is the nicest human being and her team is just phenomenal. I worked with Shayla and Jason (Officiant) for the ceremony and they were the sweetest souls. Jason has a calming presence about him and made me feel so grounded.. I can't put my finger on it but he's a special one. I needed to accommodate my father who is partially handicap and Yeliz pulled off a beautiful location with easy walking access. I cannot say enough good things about The Hytch. They really have a great business model and I wish them all nothing but the best in the future!

This tucked away hidden gem is breathtaking. Nothing beats the ambiance of the place. As for the day of our wedding it stopped raining about 35 min before right our ceremony and it made it for a perfect evening. Right when I walked into the venue I couldn’t help, but tear up with joys of happiness. From the planning to the execution of our wedding everything was executed flawlessly. The Hytch team nailed every detail I had asked for. Yeliz and Abbie put my mind at ease. They are the most kind loving people I have dealt with. Additionally, if you are looking for a photographer the Hytch has Ashleigh on their vendor list and I highly recommend her. I am not a person who enjoys her pictures taken and her spunky, fun loving personality made everything so seamless.

We had an amazing experience working with the Hytch. The venue was beautiful and I felt the team went above and beyond to customize the look and feel of what we wanted our day to be. On our actual wedding day they were so prepared and responded to last minute requests that came up. I felt like I didn't need to stress about the details because they had everything under control. I can't rave enough about The Hytch! Such a BEAUTIFUL venue and the team was so easy to work with. They made our day stress free and kept great communication with us leading up to the wedding day so I had no unanswered questions or details left not thought of by the wedding. The florals were perfect and the team ran our music perfectly and coordinated those walking down the aisle. We had our dogs as part of our wedding and The Hytch team made them feel so welcomed and loved. We didn't want all options of the wedding package so they made us a customized plan with the options that we did want and removed those we didn't want. Seriously can't say enough good things!! Addie and The Hytch team were so thougthful, oriented to details, kind and really made our dream come true. My now husband and I decided to elope after a decade of being together. We were looking for a small ceremony that felt personal and decided to transform our then ski trip vacation into a trip we’ll never forget. After much online research on “where/how to elope in Lake Tahoe”, The Hytch stood out to us because of the warmth shown in their photos, the beautiful details like the setting and the flowers and the variety of elopements which showed personalized details for each couple. Addie was always quick to respond and we clicked beautifully since our first call. She is so sweet, reassuring and helped us even with tips that went beyond their scope whenever we asked, like Hair & Makeup options, Breweries and Restaurants to consider. I was able to send her moodboards of what we envisioned for location/flowers/photo style which truly came to life on that special day. The flowers were beautiful. I even had a custom flower crown made by same team which I loved. The location was perfect, surrounded by nature and easy to get there. Addie and Ahleigh (the photographer) were awesome, so kind and with such good energy. The whole day was so special, I can’t help but smile remembering. And our pictures… I’m in awe each time I see them. I’m SO THANKFUL we found you guys!

I can't say enough amazing things about The Hytch. I found them on Instagram when I knew we wanted to get married in Lake Tahoe. Since we live in Maryland, it was quite daunting to plan a wedding across the country. Once I found Addie and The Hytch, it was like all the pieces fell into place. Through them we found our venue, photographer (thank you Ashleigh!) and hair and makeup (thank you Savannah!) vendors. It was a breeze planning with them and Addie was so responsive to all of my questions and concerns. The decor and flowers they provided were unreal. The entire day was more beautiful than I could have ever dreamed because of the attention to detail and care from Addie and team. Still reeling over my amazing wedding day that would not have been possible without the work from the Hytch. Darren was amazing at helping us write our vows (this was going to be my hardest thing to write, not that I didn't know what to day, but how to get my word on paper and out of my mouth without mumbling around would be the hardest part). He was so responsive and gave so many pointers and links to help us write our vows also. On the day of, his speak was a surprise and turned out amazing. We picked a few things we wanted in our vows but he put everything together so nicely and we couldn't have been happier. Thanks again Darren for all your help!

Although I am still speechless from my wedding I will articulate as best as I can. The Hytch was worth every penny and their service goes above and beyond anything I could have expected. I worked with Addie and she is so patient and kind. Every detail we had discussed was executed perfectly. They made sure I was comfortable and did not rush me through it. If you are contemplating eloping or a small ceremony this is the way to go. You will have the best of both worlds with all the memories and details of a big wedding without having to stress about the details and the Hytch helping you execute the perfect intimate ceremony. Ashleigh was our photographer I don't know if she handles all of them but would recommend you request her. I can't say enough good things about this place! AMAZING!! The Hytch absolutely exceeded our expectations. Yeliz and her team know what they're doing when it comes to planning, decorating, and running the show. Our ceremony/reception set up was spot on and an absolute dream. They truly made our vision come to life and exceeded all of our expactations. We remember seeing our reception area for the first time and were completely overwhelmed with disbelief. It was so prefect, down to every little detail. Going back through our wedding pictures we are still in awe. We were set up with Darren as our officiant and we absolutely loved him. I cannot say enough about this amazing place & the kindhearted people who make the magic happen here. I have been fortunate to have attended half a dozen events in this spectacular secret garden over the past years. As a close friend of several who have married and hosted guests in this intimate space, I have been involved in helping plan the elaborate details The Hytch has executed with perfection! I have consistently been impressed with the level of care, detail and generosity both Yeliz and Addie invest in each client and their vision. I hope to be back to this gorgeous little oasis very soon!!

I don't even know where to begin when I am trying to explain my experience with The Hytch. Let me start off by saying; I can not say ONE negative thing about them. I would not have changed a SINGLE thing about my wedding day- and that is saying A LOT when you put your wedding in someone else's hands. I was extremely stressed out trying to plan my own wedding. Then I came across The Hytch. I felt a sense of peace come over me when I started looking at their Instagram. I'm getting chills as I write this. We realized that we just wanted our closest friends and family together for a micro wedding. Yeliz was so kind and helpful and willing to do whatever we wanted. I changed days, times, places, packages that they offer, SEVERAL times. They never batted an eye! They never once made me feel like I was being indecisive (which is WAS) or that I was bothering them with all of my questions. I started looking more at their other Instagram page, which is "The Hytch At The Sierra Water Garden". Again, that feeling of peace came over me and I literally envisioned my whole wedding and I had not done that or had that feeling with any of the 10 other venues I had looked at! While waiting for my wedding, my only real responsibilities were to make my music playlist (they provided sound and a device to play the music from), and making a Pinterest Board. I had never been to the garden, I had never met any of these women, I have never been IN a wedding, so I really didn't know what to expect. You would never know that right in the middle of Reno this beautiful diamond in the ruff of a venue would be just tucked away against a river. When you are at the garden you forget where you are. This was important to me as a small country town girl, being in a city. For the third time, I had the sense of peace come over me and I knew I had picked the perfect place and the perfect option to get married through the Hytch. For the next 24 hours I had little to no stress leading up to the wedding. Once the wedding started, Addy (one of the Hytch girls) took over! She did not miss a beat. When I tell you that my day was perfect, I mean that whole heartedly and she was a HUGE reason why. She and the girl working with her were SO helpful. They followed me around helping with my dress, kept us on schedule with the sequence of events I was so nervous about, were so kind to everyone and just absolute ANGELS. They completely exceeded my expectations. The tables and decor were absolutely perfect. Addy was our officiant and she was perfect. We didn't have to worry about a THING. The photographer with the Hytch that we had the pleasure of having (Ashleigh) was equally as amazing. If I had the chance, I truly would not change a thing. If you are looking to elope, or have a wedding that is short and sweet, but still so special, this is the best thing you could do. I know that the more people who find out about them will travel to have an experience like mine, because it was just incredible. From beginning to the very end, it couldn't have been more perfect. Literally a FRACTION of the cost, stress, work, effort, all of the negative things that so many people dread about weddings. I will be forever grateful to The Hytch. I would like to thank The Hytch for such an amazing experience. Let me share my life with you. My future father in law was diagnosed with terminal cancer and I knew that it was important that he saw his only son get married before he left us. I was limited on time and I came across The Hytch. I wanted something simple and elegant, easy and beautiful. With the stress of what our family was going through, I didn’t have time to plan a wedding. All the planning that I did was within weeks. Sadly, 18 days after getting diagnosed, I lost my future father in law. With respect to my future mother in law, I asked if we should still proceed with the wedding and she said absolutely! That’s when The Hytch came in. They were empathetic, compassionate and understanding. I arrived to the property 30 minutes before the ceremony. They had a bridal suite where you could get ready. The officiant, Darren, came to the bridal suite just to confirm the wedding vows and he was funny and sweet. He also asked in honor of my father in law, that a empty chair be placed next to my future mother in law during the ceremony. As a bride, I had to hold back my tears. I didn’t want to look like a raccoon during the ceremony. LOL I asked Ashleigh, the photographer, for her artistic touch. She was brilliantly amazing! What I do know is that I am only going to get married once and as a bride, it’s difficult to make everything perfect. The Hytch made my wedding dreams come true. Yeliz, the Hytch team, and their recommended vendors truly rocked our worlds with their furniture and decor styling! We appreciated the attention to detail and organization the entire Hytch team brought to help make our special day run smoothly.

We were looking forward to an intimate wedding and the courthouse didn’t sound enticing. The experience provided by The Hytch was perfect. Megan was very helpful in guiding us through package options, flowers, settings, helping us quickly narrow down how our wedding would look. Addie walked us through a few questions that ensured our vows reflected our style; she was our officiant and made the ceremony feel magical. Yeliz arranged the wedding setting as though she had known us for years. Ashleigh was our marvelous photographer that was patient, funny, creative, and exceptionally skilled. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The Hytch team is very professional with great attention to detail, supportive, and fun.

Enough good things cannot be said about The Hytch team and the lovely Sierra Water Gardens venue. We started planning a July micro wedding in March, and it was so easy working with them! We gave minimal direction, and they produced a stunning wedding for us. They coordinated with a florist, Galena Forest Flowers, who created an absolutely stunning bouquet, flower crowns, boutineer and arch decorations. And our table for 17 was perfect with the settings. The venue alone is stunning, with many options for seating throughout, even down by the river. Our wedding fell on a very hot day, but there were many shaded options around the gardens. Through the Hytch we even we were connected with an absolutely phenomenal photographer, Kendall Town (Sirberry) whose stunning photos are attached! The entire process was smooth, worry free and largely hands off for us as the couple. The team is a joy and do this job so well. Don’t hesitate to work with them!

Hitched by the Hytch! The experience the Hytch created for us was absolutely phenomenal. Due to the pandemic, we had to change our original plans of a destination wedding in Jamaica to our incredibly small town in central Nevada. We wanted to bring a charming, elegant event to a place that has little to no services and the Hytch delivered. Yeliz was extremely easy to work with, took our vision for the day, and put it all together. She coordinated with our reception venue, connected us with our amazing officiant Jason, and provided the perfect photographer in Ashleigh. Even with 6 inches of fresh snow on the morning of our wedding, changes were made on the fly and the day provided by the Hytch went off without a hitch.

We decided to elope at the beginning of March, and we’re so glad we chose The Hytch to do so! They did an INCREDIBLE job!! Yeliz and Addie are such wonderful people and really accommodated to our needs. They absolutely nailed it with the decor that we chose, the set up and arch were absolutely perfect out on the pier overlooking the lake, our vows were just right, and we had a wonderful photographer (go with Kendall!) who took us to some special spots in Donnerlake in which we are now left with such amazing photos to cherish for a lifetime. We really couldn’t ask for any better! They truly delivered and we are so glad we chose them! Thank you for making our day SO special. You guys are fantastic!!

You simply couldn’t dream up a better team than The Hytch. They exceeded all of my expectations and brought my vision to life. Being that we had a destination wedding, it leaves a lot of room for error and details missed. Our day was perfect and beautiful! We had hoped for snow but Mother Nature didn’t cooperate with that piece, I was super bummed to not get pics in the snow... but honestly the beach ceremony and photos on the dock have helped me to not feel sad about that at all! I am in love with the ocean - and TheHytch packed up their amazing dream team and went to San Diego to provide us with the most amazing beach wedding! They handled every detail flawlessly. But what I am so amazed at was how they made us FEEL. (That deserves more than 5 stars!) This team deserves more than 5 stars! They are very responsive with my emails. They make you feel so welcome and loved that added more magic on our wedding day. They provided planning, officiating and photography all in one package at a very reasonable price. Ashleigh took our photos and was able to send us some sneek peek photos on the same day hours after the wedding which is a plus because we are all excited to share it on our social medias 🤗 I will surely avail their services again on our vow renewal 😊

2020 happened to be my wife and I’s best year yet and we just couldnt wait any longer to get married! Our original plans were to go to the courthouse but due to Covid-19 that wasn’t possible. I searched and searched and when I found The Hytch it was game over. We chose the Elopement Adventure and it was one of our best decisions of 2020. Addie was such a HUGE help in creating our day and making it so stress free that we got to enjoy the whole process. In my opinion elopements are SO underrated, it’s so intimate, and everyone at The Hytch was so helpful and so excited for us. They made our already exciting day, even more exciting. They help set up a location, they provided flowers of our liking, a WONDERFUL photographer, and filed all our paperwork as well. All we had to do was show up! I’ll 10/10 recommend The Hytch to anyone, even those who want a large wedding. Elopements are so intimate and so special and finding the The Hytch was like a dream!

So like many people our wedding was cancelled due to covid. My wife and I still wanted to get married on the date we set which was our 7 year Anniversary. So we decided on Reno and looked up places. The Hytch was one of the first places that came up. Oh I'm so HAPPY we went with them. We did the Mirco Wedding with a half hour photographer this past weekend. Addie was our planner and officiant and she was great, Yeliz is a sweetheart, and our photographer Kendall was absolutely fantastic. The venue is absolutely gorgeous. We had the most PERFECT little wedding we could ever ask for. The picture Kendall took of our wedding turned out absolutely beautiful he captured us so well. It was the BEST DAY EVER!! We originally had our wedding planned for June at Lake Tahoe but COVID changed our plans for us. We were the first elopement in Colorado for The Hytch. Yeliz and her team were fantastic! It was simple yet beautiful! I couldn’t have asked for a better day. ❤️

We were originally supposed to get married on Maui in April 2020, but like so many other couples out there our plans were affected by the pandemic and we’ve had to postpone our big wedding twice. We ended up deciding to elope in the meantime, so we found The Hytch on IG. Yeliz and her team went above and beyond to make sure our special day was absolutely perfect. They took all the stress of planning out of our hands and made sure we were taken care of every step of the way. Yeliz is extremely talented and has an eye for design. She was able to get a sense of our own style and completely elevate it - everything was so beautiful! Our micro wedding was full of gorgeous details provided by vendors and connections procured by Addie & Yeliz. They were professional, responsive, and creative. I Can't say enough great things about The Hytch and Yeliz! I never wanted a huge wedding, but still wanted the big wedding look with nice decor and beautiful flower arrangements. It felt overwhelming trying to plan all of this, especially during a pandemic! I'm so happy I found The Hytch! Yeliz made the whole process so simple, and gave us the wedding of our dreams. Every detail was very thought out, and the best part is I didn't have to worry about a single thing except showing up and getting hytched! We had 18 people attend an intimate pop up wedding, and it is safe to say that it was the best day of our lives! She works with great vendors as well, from florist, hairstylist, to the photographer! Do not hesitate, hire the Hytch! Yeliz and her entire team are absolutely incredible and will make sure you have the wedding day of your dreams. My husband and I contacted Yeliz ~1.5 mos before our date and let her know we wanted a sunrise ceremony anywhere in North Tahoe and to follow it up with a brunch for just the 2 of us ( we eloped). Yeliz made my pinterest board come to literal life. She picked our locations, secured a hair/make up artist who was able to come to our airbnb at the god forsaken hour of 2:30am, recommended and coordinated with an incredible florist who was able to set up our ceremony florals at 4am, and ultimately designed the perfect day for us. When the day before our wedding we thought the road to our ceremony location might not be available due to construction., Yeliz was a total pro, able to comfort us and come up with a quick plan B that we fortunately did not need to use. As a control freak, I was worried about going with a local company and giving up control, but I'm so so happy I did and I can't recommend Yeliz and her team enough. Their instagram page is a true representation of the beautiful set ups they do.

Yeliz & the Hytch are amazing. I contacted them in March right before Covid became a pandemic, I can't recall how I found them. I think I googled around and was looking through the Knot. I really liked the personal and modern look vs a couple other elopement companies I found. Anyways, after they replied to me in March, my planning got put on hold due to the world seemingly being on hold. Then as months went by, I still saw there were able to complete elopements and posting on their FB and instagram,. My fiance' and I did not want to wait indefinitely to be able to get married, so I pursued the Hytch again in mid June. Yeliz replies to every message every single day, no matter the time(you can tell how hard she works, and late as well). Once I described my ideal setting to her, she knew right off the bat the location she wanted to suggest. I started planning 5 weeks before the big day, I should say, I gave all my ideas to Yeliz and she planned the whole thing. There were a few times where I felt like I would have to just have faith that it was going to work out, she does all the planning effortlessly. We chose the pop up wedding; I had a hair and makeup girl show up to my airbnb with the flower crown I chose, cherry bomb catering catered our food at the wedding which was both easy and tasty, (FYI the only recommendation I have here is to make sure you include beverages like water), our bouquet and Boutonnière were taken care of, we had an amazing photographer included in the package. Yeliz was even our officiant. We had a very small intimate immediate family only pop up wedding. The only thing I'd change is to do it again so I could experience it again.

An absolute dream! Yeliz and her team at The Hytch are incredibly talented and went above and beyond to make our day so special and memorable. The bouquet and boutonniere were beautifully handmade with the style and colors we wanted and the photographer made us feel so comfortable and had many great ideas to create wonderful photos for us. Love love love everything about The Hytch!

I had contacted Yeliz probably a year because we actually decided on a wedding date. At first we were interested in a big ceremony , then overtime decided we wanted something small and intimate. Both of which Yeliz gave us information on without hesitation. We ended up with the Elopement adventure package and let me tell you, it was an absolute dream. Yeliz is probably the easiest person to ever talk to, her response time is incredible and no question is ever too much or too silly for her. You spend such a small amount of time with everyone involved in putting your wedding together but every single person we worked with including Jess our officiant and Kendall our photographer, each one of them made you feel so absolutely important and heard. I could write a book on each one and how much we adore them. Every detail, every idea and every second you spend with them, they are present. I could go on forever how absolutely grateful my husband and I are for these three beautiful people forever. There was little to no stress in planning our elopement. (and only a little because I create my own stresses 😅) even in the middle of the madness in the world right now, they made the day about us and every single moment was absolutely perfect. We would choose the hytch and our lovely team time and time again. You absolutely cannot go wrong with them. Thank you you guys for everything you’ve done for us. We appreciate you three so much.

I can't say enough great things about Yeliz and her team at the Hytch! I think this is the first time ever I just let go and let someone else take control. Just seeing all the photos and the beautiful weddings they created, I was convinced my wedding would be put together so beautifully. The weather was a minor blizzard but it still all came out so beautifully and the price point was good. It was everything I could've asked for with a small intimate wedding. Thank you Yeliz!!

My husband and I chose the Elopement Adventure package and could not have been happier with the entire experience provided by The Hytch! We had been working with Jess and Yeliz for about a year prior to the wedding and they planned the perfect day for us and our families. Half of our wedding party was traveling from Hawaii and the other half from New York, so there was a lot to plan. The Hytch took so much of the stress of wedding planning off our shoulders and created an absolutely flawless day. They even managed to create a traditional Hawaiian lei that my husband wore for the ceremony. They went above and beyond! Our day on 8/10/2019 was at the beautiful Fallen Leaf Lake. The Hytch created an amazing set up in a wooded area with delicious donuts and champagne. The ceremony was over a small hill on the shore of the lake. We had an unexpected delay and the entire staff was flexible and handled the situation very professionally. They allowed us to stay longer and make sure our day was perfect. The set up was so thoughtful and spot on with what we envisioned with The Hytch. We truly could not have asked for a better experience on our wedding day, we will never be able to thank The Hytch enough.

I can’t adequately express in words how grateful that we are to have found The Hytch. Absent a real plan from us, in less than 48 hours The Hytch created an elopement experience that far exceeded anything we had hoped for on our special day. We worked with The Hytch for our Day of the Dead themed elopement and we could not have been happier! Yeliz not only did a great job on the decor but also connected me with amazing photographers and a videographer. She also coordinated with my caterer and musician ahead of time which made everything flow with ease. Juston also was so helpful, from assisting with finding a location to reassuring our nerves and working with us to make sure our ceremony was the best reflection of our commitment to one another. Juston & Yeliz are genuinely two of the sweetest people you will ever meet. They helped us customize our ceremony from start to finish- with only two weeks’ notice! Everything was perfect from the flowers to the décor. They did an amazing job and made our day so special. They coordinated flowers, location, hair, make-up- we couldn’t have done it without their help. You can tell they absolutely love what they do by the time and effort they put in. I continue to recommend them to anyone who will listen. :)

We couldn't even begin to explain how thankful we are for The Hytch. They are amazing people, that do amazing work. After a month, and 3,000 questions from me they were able to give my husband and I the perfect, intimate wedding experience. My partner and I were scrambling to find a venue for our elopement in Lake Tahoe, and were woefully disappointed with the responses we received from venues. I couldn't believe how much it cost to rent a dock for an hour, or how we were expected to rent an entire restaurant! Luckily, an overbooked wedding planner recommended The Hytch. Once I saw their website, I knew it was exactly what I had in mind. After a call with Yeliz explaining what we wanted (small elopement on the lake, intimate with only six people), she ran with it. She took my ideas and made everything FABULOUS. I didn't have to think! She took care of my hair and makeup, the venue, flowers, photography, videography, a beautiful cake, hand-painted signs, and that gorgeous tear-drop trailer as a backdrop.
