We were really pleased with the staff and service we received the day of our wedding. We have gotten SO MANY compliments from friends and family regarding the look of the venue itself, the service from the staff and the food. The day of went by... so fast and we really were taken care of. Unfortunately, we had some contractual issues going into the day of the wedding, on the part of the Inn, and after we had already paid our deposit. After nearly two weeks of signing agreements and paying that deposit, we received a phone call to inform us there was an error in our contract and they needed to change something. We had to go back and forth for weeks before an agreement was made. In addition, things that were promised to us, and written in writing did not happen on the day of our wedding. My personal items, and personal items of the bridal party (phones, purses, wallets, etc.) were left in a room that we were told would serve as our bridal suite and remain locked and only accessible to us and our Maitre D. The door was never locked, the one time I used the room to have my hair fixed, there were strangers in the corner, sitting and talking at a table. At that moment, I was REALLY upset. I would have chosen to keep my personal belongings with me, under my table the entire night, had I known. This was something that they had reassured us would be done, as a result of the contractual issues we had had. That all being said, it is difficult for me to provide a general review of our venue. Like stated, the staff that waited and assisted us were wonderful, the wedding planner (Jen), was super responsive to my questions and e-mails. The representative that helped us prepare for the day of (selecting our food, taking all of our items, etc.), Fran, was also amazing and super responsive. Our main disappointments remain with the sales representative who assisted us initially (David), and promised us so many things, management who had to intervene, and those who contributed to the making of our contract and agreements.
