Catherine personally helped set up and decorate our ceremony spaces—the barn and ruins—two days before the wedding and was even there helping break things down the next day. She kept track of our cards and gifts, ensuring they were safely delivered back to our room at the end of the night. She also escorted us all around the property with our photographer, making sure we captured the most beautiful and poignant shots of our wedding day. And when our stunning viewpoint at sunset lacked the perfect breeze for my veil shot, Catherine stepped in as the best photographer’s assistant ever! She became our veil thrower-in-chief, launching it into the air with just the right force to get that dreamy billow—without pulling it loose from my hair. She and the team even worked with us to adjust the food menu, making thoughtful swaps and reintroducing an absolutely divine soup shooter that had been phased out seasonally. Speaking of food—WOW. We knew it would be great from the tasting, but somehow, they outdid themselves on the wedding day. The short rib was pure decadence, the best I have ever had, and our guests are still raving about every single dish. The staff’s hospitality and professionalism were impeccable—so much so that multiple guests came up to us just to praise their individual servers by name. Guests who stayed on-site fell in love with the charming rooms and the breathtaking property, even braving the frigid December weather to explore. Beyond the people, the Inn at Willow Grove itself is simply stunning, especially at Christmas. The property is incredibly special to me personally, having once belonged to distant family, but I can genuinely say that anyone who chooses to have their wedding here will feel the same connection—because from the moment you book, they welcome you like family. With so many people coming in and out of our room in the days leading up to the wedding (and while we got ready), it had turned into a complete disaster zone. But when we walked in at the end of the night, everything had been tidied up and organized—giving us the perfect space to fully relax after such an incredible, joy-filled day. From the very beginning to the very end, the entire team—Catherine, Wednesday, the chefs, the servers, and every staff member—made us and our guests feel celebrated, cherished, and completely taken care of.
