I used the Inviting Pear for both my save-the-dates and my invitations. After our save-the-date experience, we would have cancelled the invitation order had we not already put down half the cost as a deposit. I had a very hard time working with... her, as she fought me on so many decisions and was not able to take my input and put it into practice very easily. She fought me on several wording preferences and talked down to me when I pushed her to use my preferences. She would add things without my approval because it's "tradition", and she would fight me on wording preferences even when I explicitly requested that she do something else.
Overall, I found working this vendor to be the most stressful part of planning my wedding. I've provided more details below, but in a nutshell, I would not recommend this vendor to any of my friends or family.
She refused to ship the save-the-dates or invitations to our home; we had to drive 30 minutes to pick them up. She did not include enough envelopes for either the save-the-dates or the invitations. When I asked her to provide more envelopes, she blamed me for not having enough.
Her first design attempt at our invitations looked like an invitation to a twelve year old's birthday party or a backyard BBQ. When I told her it was nothing like I asked for, she got defensive instead of being apologetic.
I asked to meet her in person to go over the design so we were on the same page, but she could not meet before work, after work, or on the weekends, so we had to work entirely by email.
Once we settled on an adequate design, I asked her to print 2 separate sets of RSVP cards (one with a later RSVP date in case we added invites late in the process), but she said no. She also changed our RSVP date to her preference based on "tradition" instead of our asked-for date.
She spelled my name wrong on the invitations several times.
Be careful if you choose a design that requires assembly because she charges extra for assembly. She'll let you use her equipment to assemble your invitations, but she'll charge you for that as well.
The invitations turned out OK, and I was ultimately not embarrassed to send them out, but they were not worth the amount of stress I went through in working with this vendor. I would not recommend this vendor unless you have a very flexible schedule and lots of time for back-and-forth, know exactly what design you want, and are OK with being told how to phrase your invitations.
