The Jefferson was wonderful and Lisa made everything so easy and special! And on top of that, it is absolutely beautiful! You don’t have to decorate much because the space is so wonderful!
LOVED working with the Jefferson!! They were so helpful throughout the planning process and the day of! The manager, Lisa, was so eager to make mine and my husbands wedding day the most stress-free day! If I could do It over again, I would choose the Jefferson every time! Beautiful venue with such a hard working staff!
Lisa with The Jefferson is the absolute best person to have with you for your wedding. We ran through everything the night before and if I didn't know what order or how I wanted to do something she gave popular suggestions to help out. Come the big day everything ran smoothly and efficiently as Lisa worked behind the scenes to make that happen. I had THE BEST time at my wedding and a huge part of that is thanks to the great people at The Jefferson!
Could not have been a more beautiful venue for our daughter's wedding! Has such a rustic elegance. The staff was extremely accommodating and helped with every detail no matter how large or small. It was the perfect setting for this special day.
The Jefferson was the perfect location for our wedding and reception! The staff made everything as easy as possible and were very accommodating. I would definitely recommend the Jefferson for any event.
The Jefferson was the perfect place for our wedding reception! Not only is the building stunningly beautiful with its reclaimed wood and brick walls, high ceilings with chandeliers, and tall windows, but also the staff was so kind and helpful. They did everything possible to make sure the whole night ran smoothly and was exactly what we wanted. I am more than pleased with our choice of The Jefferson!
From the moment my husband and I walked in the front door, we knew The Jefferson is where we wanted to get married. Our expectations, however, were entirely exceeded. Lisa and Marti went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed leading up to and on the day of the wedding. The venue was perfect for the ceremony and the reception, and it's so beautiful on it's own that it doesn't take much to turn it into a magical place. The bridal room is the ideal space to get ready and the three different event spaces can accommodate any set up you imagine. I can't say enough about how perfect our wedding day was because of the venue and the staff.
Lisa and Marti are absolutely fantastic! They help with every detail of your wedding from the time you book the venue! I NEVER had to worry about anything Lisa had everything taken care of. Very professional staff and they are willing and ready to help with everything in every way that they possibly can! My wedding was absolutely phenomenal thanks to the Jefferson and their magnificent staff!!!
We were looking for a venue somewhere between Dallas, Texas and Atlanta, Georgia. We found The Jefferson and loved the pictures. We booked without seeing the venue in person. Lisa Mills (venue manager) was helpful in finding vendors for flowers, rentals and food. We made a trip to Oxford in February. The building is as beautiful as the pictures. We were able to meet with all of the vendors in a 3 day weekend. That was the only trip we made to Oxford before wedding week. Although we were out of sight, the vendors all followed through with their promises. During the three days before the wedding. Lisa allowed us to visit the venue several times. She continued to smile as we changed the rehearsal time from noon to 2pm to 5pm. When rain threatened she arranged valet parking. She helped with sound and music stands for the outside ceremony. Throughout she listened to our ideas and helped them come to life. And she watched the weather as anxiously as we did. The building is stunning. Janet's dress, the vintage china, the flowers, and the arch that Clint built to define the space by the lake all coordinated with the look of the venue to create a gorgeous evening.
We absolutely loved this venue! We used the Faulkner and Lakeside rooms for our wedding reception (approximately 250+ guests). It was gorgeous, spacious, and incredibly accommodating! We didn't have to put a ton of money towards decorations, lights, flowers, etc because the venue is breathtaking by itself. The rustic shed towards the entrance and lake area were perfect for our wedding party and couple photos. The coordinating security company were able to help cover security, valet, and the sparkler exit flawlessly. Their sound system accommodated our solo musician and background music perfectly. The bridesmaids, some family members, and myself were able to eat, get dressed, and take photos in the bridal dressing room/conference room - such a lovely environment. We also had yard games set out near the lake and guests loved it! I'm so glad we had such a great indoor and outdoor space for everyone to enjoy. Lisa was absolutely incredible from start to finish - she made sure our every need was met. I've had so many comments from guests complimenting how gorgeous our venue was. My single comment to give future brides a heads up - you have to pay an additional fee to start setting up the day before, that morning, or even a few hours before the event. Our other vendors were able to do it that morning no problem, but we did a lot of planning to make sure that everything went smoothly (so we didn't have to pay to get in the day before). Just keep in mind that you'll have to tack on a little more to that price in order to get everything set up. But I promise, the price was worth it! There were times that we considered changing the ceremony from our church to the Grand Hall because we loved the entire venue so much. Overall, the Jefferson played a huge role in making our special day a fairytale!
The Jefferson was an amazing place for our ceremony and reception. Not only is it gorgeous, but the staff was accommodating and lovely to work with. We had a wonderful experience start to finish. Highly recommended!
The Jefferson exceeded my expectations for my wedding. The venue is beyond beautiful and was the perfect place for our ceremony and reception. Everyone that is a part of The Jefferson accommodated to our every need for our wedding. I could not have asked for a better venue or people to work with while planning my wedding at The Jefferson.
The Jefferson was the perfect venue for our daughter's wedding reception!! The rustic charm was outstanding! The view of the lake was incredible!! There was plenty of space for all of our guests! Lisa and the staff were ready and willing to help do anything! I cannot say enough with how pleased we were by choosing The Jefferson!
Went to the open weekend as advertised on their website. Nobody there, gates locked but we had to drive for an hour to get out there. So we decided that we would walk from the entrance, we knocked on the unfinished reception, no answer! So much for an open weekend! The place could do with a clean up. As far as having an outside wedding, we were boiling in shorts and tee shirts. The place didn't look like they had bothered to do anything to make it presentable either. So a bit of a heads up on the management of the place if you are planning a wedding. I felt as if I had wasted a weekend out there.
