The Jerome Event Center is an all-in-one event venue located in Delano, Minnesota, 20 minutes west of 394 and 494. With 6,700 square feet of ground level space, The Jerome can comfortably seat up to 275 guests. Featuring original modern industrial design, The Jerome opened in September 2019 after an extensive seven year renovation journey to restore the 1905 building. Owners, Dale and Lynn Graunke, are devoted to creating authentic, timeless celebrations that personally reflect clients. The Jerome features original modern industrial design, including reclaimed timber beams, exposed brick walls, soaring ceilings, restored hardwood floors, and original black tin tile. Dramatic light fixtures compliment the natural light that shines through the large windows, creating a comfortable, open atmosphere for all to enjoy. Elegant room dividers can be used to create an intimate setting for smaller guest counts. Several services and amenities are included when you book your wedding with The Jerome, including, but not limited to: - Exclusive Use of the Space: Access to the space from 9:00 am until midnight. - Indoor Ceremony Area: If you decide to host your ceremony with us, the natural beauty of the space combined with candles, floral arrangements, and other decor, create a simply stunning backdrop. - Crossback Chairs and Tables: Arranged to meet your needs and ensure that guests are comfortable and can move around with ease. - Set-Up and Tear Down of Tables and Chairs: Large handcrafted doors separate The Great Room from The Stein Room, allowing guests to socialize while event staff to quickly flip the room and turn the ceremony space into a reception. - Venue Manager: Available to answer questions throughout the planning process and is on-site the day of the wedding, but will not serve as a coordinator. - Audio Visual Equipment: For technical convenience, we are equipped with high-speed WiFi, handheld microphone, and Bose surround sound to accommodate dinner music and speeches. - Free Parking: More than 200 free parking spaces are within one block of the venue. - Security Staff: To ensure a private and secure event, The Jerome provides complimentary, professional security from 8:00 pm until midnight during events where alcohol is served. - Secure Closet: A locked closet is available to store gifts and other valuables. - Professional Cleaning: Complimentary cleaning services are provided to allow you to enjoy every last moment of your event and ensure that The Jerome is properly cleaned and cared for. - Insurance: A $1,000,000 liability insurance policy to cover you and your guests from any unfortunate circumstances.

Lynn and Dale took extra care to help make sure that our day went smoothly and helped alleviate some of the logistics concerns that come with having a large wedding! As they renovated the space they kept so many beautiful historic pieces as well as making it new it is the perfect combination! The layout of The Jerome Center is the best! It is one large space divided with doorways separating the dance floor and tables. My husband and I had never visited Delano, but after touring The Jerome we soon found that it is such a special and beautiful city. t of wedding planning for us. I think we looked at 7 before finding The Jerome. Everything was either way out of our budget, not in a good location, didn't fit our style/vision or we felt like they were going to charge us with a bunch of hidden fees. The Jerome checked off all the boxes.
We got engaged in Oct 2018 and our wedding was July 17, 2021 so we had a long engagement which was nice that we so much time to find the vendors we wanted. We toured The Jerome March of 2020 (literally right before everything shut down due to COVID). I firmly believe everything happens for a reason and I'm so thankful we toured and booked with them when we did. Right when we walked in the doors I could tell it was the venue I wanted to get married. Lynn and Dale are two of the sweetest humans ever and the venue is STUNNING - they did such an amazing job at renovating the building. Plus it's in a great location - I love the small-town feel. The best part was my now husband loved it so, so we were sold!
Communication was great throughout the whole wedding planning process and leading up to our big day. Having great communication was important to me so I could feel stress free while planning. I was blown away with how beautiful the venue was set up with all of our decorations and centerpieces and with the ceremony and reception at the same location, it made it super easy for guests and they were quick at getting the room ready for dinner. Our guests all had a blast! Even with a few wedding crashers (which makes for a fun story to tell) I wouldn't have imagined our day going as perfect as it did.
I want to get married all over again just so we can go back to The Jerome! Highly recommend at least setting up a tour, you will fall in love like we did!

Throughout the day we got SO MANY compliments on the venue. It was beautiful, comfortable, and functional. Finally, Lynn, Dale, and Abigail were excellent to work with. They were very communicative and super helpful during set up and tear down. The Jerome is a stunning venue and the ease of the experience of planning our wedding there really was the cherry on top of our big day. We 100% recommend having your wedding or large event here!
P.S. The contract was very transparent and there were no hidden fees or surprises. Exceptional vendor to work with on that front!!

We spoke numerous times to ensure we were meeting COVID regulations as well as making the guest comfortable. It was a stressful time but Dale and Lynn really made us laugh and more than that, we became excited again for our wedding.
They were also willing to meet with us so that we could get the layout I envisioned just right. And boy, did it meet all of our expectations. They day of, walking in, was everything we could have imagined. The venue itself doesn't need anything added to make it beautiful. It has restored brick walls, high ceilings with these industrial feel chandeliers.

The owners, Lynn and Dale are the kindest and the most hard-working people you will ever meet. Planning a wedding from out-of-state could have been very challenging, but they made the entire process a breeze! They showed professionalism, kindness, thoughtfulness, and phenomenal assistance. Our original wedding date was May 23rd, but we ended up postponing due to COVID. They were extremely flexible, helpful and accommodating during and after choosing our new date.

It was a pleasure to work with Lynn and Dale! They were very accommodating to my wife and I’s wishes. They made sure that everything would go as planned, whether that meant stopping into the venue or talking over the phone, they were there willing to help! If an issue arose on the day of the wedding, Lynn was always there to assist.

EDITED TO ADD: We had our wedding reception at The Jerome on August 22, 2020, and we could not have picked a better venue! Dale and Lynn made the planning process so easy and they were so accommodating with all of our requests. On the day of the wedding, we were able to get into the venue early in the morning to set up and decorate (although minimal decoration is needed due to how beautiful the venue is!) We got so many compliments on the venue and are so happy with our choice of using The Jerome as our reception venue!

chandeliers are amazing! The space has the perfect amount of decor so it is lovely as is, while still allowing you to be really creative with whatever colors or theme you want too.
Second, working with Lynn & Dale is wedding the experience you hope for but rarely find elsewhere! They are hospitable, honest, and thoughtful. They’ve obviously put a ton of thought into their own space, as well as using it to highlight other local small businesses, which definitely stood out to me.
They do require that you work with a specific catering company, which deserves a separate review of its own, but overall working with The Jerome has been wonderful and I highly recommend it!
