I’ve stayed here twice and as long as I have a choice, I’ll stay here anytime I’m in Atlanta. It’s very clean and new, no odd smells, and it’s very quiet despite having a bar/restaurant in the building. I felt safe there. Every staff member I’v...
e experienced has been very courteous and professional. The hotel is in a super walkable area with multiple coffee shops and just about everything I needed, just a stroll away. But when I needed to drive, the valet service is very prompt and the guys are so nice! There’s a small 24/7 gym in the hotel that’s been either empty or only one other person, every time I went, which was nice. I’ve gotten a city view room each time and it’s so relaxing to just hang out in the room. The only thing I wish I would change is fridge space, there’s really only room for a beverage or two and I wish there were a microwave in the rooms but it’s not a big deal for me and im pretty sure you can just request those things if you want them. Personally this hotel is worth every dollar for me

Great location for downtown Atlanta. Staff service was outstanding! Jaquel was just one of the many nice accommodating folks at the Kimpton. Our room was modern and clean. Room rates were not cheap, but comparable to the surrounding area. The v...
alet service was prompt and courteous costing $45 per night. That is the same price as valet at the Atlanta Symphony venue. I considered that a deal since the Atlanta Symphony venue is a pleasant 8 minute walk from the Kimpton. We also walked to local area upscale restaurants.

This hotel is a gem in the heart of Midtown, offering a delightful blend of comfort and convenience. The room size is surprisingly generous, a rarity in such a bustling city, providing plenty of space to relax and unwind. The amenities go beyon...
d the basics, showcasing thoughtful touches that elevate the stay, from plush bedding to high-quality toiletries that feel like little luxuries.
One standout feature is the enhanced security: access to the floors requires a keycard in the elevator, which adds a reassuring layer of privacy and safety. It’s clear that the hotel has put careful consideration into creating a welcoming and secure environment, making it an excellent choice for both business and leisure travelers. A true find for anyone seeking a reliable Midtown retreat.

The rooms you see online is not what you get!
I strongly urge others to be extremely cautious when considering this place.
I recently booked a 1 King Premium Panoramic Midtown View at Kimpton Shane Atlanta to celebrate my son's birthday, expe...
cting a room that matched the pictures on their website. When I checked in, I was shocked to find that the room was nothing like what was advertised online. The setup was completely different from what I planned for. I had envisioned decorating and setting up a cake on the corner table of the room with a view and decorating the column as shown in the pictures. The room they assigned me wasn’t even pictured on their site.
When I requested an explanation, the front desk informed me that the exact room I booked was sold out and that they have different versions of rooms. I was told I should have called in advance to request the exact room in the picture, which I find completely misleading. Despite this, they still refused to give me a refund. The staff, from the front desk ladies to the supervisor, were unhelpful and unprofessional. Even my travel agency couldn’t get them to address the issue. After a long, tiring day at Six Flags, I felt trapped and eventually had to give up on trying to get a refund.
To make matters worse, when my son got hungry, I tried to order room service, but there was no QR code in the room as promised. My son and I searched the entire room, and when I called the front desk, the staff member came up to check and was incredibly rude. She blamed the housekeeper and admitted she had no idea how to order room service herself. I was then forced to order food over the phone without any visual menu, just a few options hurriedly given to me.
I’ve stayed at many hotels and have never encountered such poor service. I feel completely scammed and am deeply disappointed in how my son's birthday was ruined. I will never book at this hotel again.

Parking is not free for the hotel $22 for garage parking and $45 for valet. We checked into the hotel at night we requested a room with 2 queen beds. Upon arrival to our room we noticed it had a connecting door to the next door room. Within ...
5 minutes of being in the room we heard our neighbors next door doing grown folks things. Us having kids immediately requested a replacement room. The room assigned was for a queen bed and a pull out sofa bed. The worst 2 days of sleep on the sofa. Not once did the hotel staff try to accommodate us with a room more suitable. Even after selecting on the TV screen in our room we were unsatisfied with our stay. I wish we could of had a better stay but it just didn't happen. Thankfully the aquarium and the mall was nice. Also, the bathroom in our room was very nice.
