Timeless elegance abounds at The Landmark Inn, with elegantly wallpapered walls and warm wooden features featured throughout. The event spaces are illuminated by warm lighting, creating a feeling of coziness for both ceremonies and receptions. The hotel's main space is the Harbor Ballroom, which has features like brass staircases and crystal chandeliers, as well as a shining Italian marble floor. Host a sophisticated cocktail reception in the Parlour, which has a convenient built-in bar as well as a fireplace. If you'd like to take advantage of the lakefront setting, then the Sky Room offers panoramic views of the coastline. This space sits on the sixth floor, and also offers vistas of the Marquette Mountains.

This event professional will be on hand to help you in whatever way you might need, guiding you through the planning process. They're happy to help you coordinate an intimate one-day affair with an exclusive guest list, or a grand weekend-long soiree attended by all of your loved ones. This can include a farewell brunch on Sunday. This consultant will help you create an event that is entirely your own, so you can see your ideas come to life.

We had our 40 person reception in the Parlour of the Landmark Inn and it was absolutely beautiful. It was the perfect size for the amount of guests we had, the food was great (and I truly never enjoy wedding food), the staff was super friendly and enjoyable, and the price of everything was right within my $5k budget. I could not have envisioned a better place to have my microwedding reception! I highly recommend!!
We loved our reception at the Landmark Inn! We were in the parlour room on the first floor and it was very perfect for our wedding size of right under 50. The catering director, Rachel, had us feeling confident with clear and thoughtful communication leading up to the event and on the day-of, Nikki and her team put together a lovely plated dinner atmosphere. You do have to organize most things yourself, but if you know what you are hoping for and come ready to put it all together, the Landmark Inn staff will absolutely be ready for you and I bet it'll be a perfect evening. I am a fall 2024 bride from 7 hours down state. My husband and I booked the Sky View room for a little reception with our family after our ceremony and let me tell you we weren’t disappointed! Nikki (the banquet captain) was extremely helpful! She went above and beyond her job to make sure I was happy and satisfied with every little detail. She made sure I was able to get into the room the night before to set up with no problems and she had excellent communication every step of the way. Our family could not stop talking about how beautiful everything turned out, how delicious the food was and how friendly Nikki was.
I also want to mention Tory, she was our bartender for the night! She was very personable, funny as heck and made some excellent drinks! Our families loved Nikki and Tory so it made us happy that the staff was so pleasant to work with and made everyone feel at home. This is what my husband and I love most about the U.P is the hospitality and the girls were all over that!
Another wonderful thing about this place is that they are DOG FRIENDLY! Our golden retriever Toast loved it here. He was the star of the show and the staff made that known haha! I felt sooooo comfortable staying here with him. He was able to be with us for a part of our reception which was a pretty big deal for us dog parents 🐾
I would 12/10 recommend Landmark to any future bride (local or not) or anyone planning an event. You will not be disappointed! 🤍🌅💍🔔📸
My husband and I booked our small dinner reception in the Sky Room of the Landmark which is on the sixth floor and overlooks beautiful Lake Superior and the Ore dock in Marquette. We worked with Rachel at the Landmark and she was fantastic! Her communication and attention to detail were outstanding. We were able to decorate the Sky Room the day before and she was super helpful with moving tables to make the space everything we wanted. The night of the reception, everything went smoothly and the room was gorgeous! The waitstaff and bartenders were so nice and eager to help with anything we needed. The food and drinks were delicious! All of our guests complemented how good the food was! The Landmark made my wedding dreams come true and I cannot recommend them enough to any future brides looking to make their day magical!
