Really enjoyed the process with Krissie. She makes a tremendous effort to dial in your choices for the cake. Everything was on time and at the price she promised. A great experience.

I hosted a bridal shower for my niece and used The Last Bite for my cupcakes. Krissie was great to work with, she was very responsive to my inquiries and provided ideas and pictures. She did an excellent job with presentation and my quests remarked about how exquisite the cupcakes were. Would definitely work with her again.

Krissie @ The Last Bite made a wonderful cake recently for my daughter's wedding. Going into the planning process my daughter was uncertain of the type of cake she wanted. Krissie was fabulous to work with and had excellent ideas. This cake tasted as delicious as it looked. I would highly recommend The Last Bite!

From the initial conversation with Krissie, we knew we had found the perfect pastry chef to make and design our wedding cake! We really didn't know exactly what we wanted in terms of design, but we knew we did not want to compromise taste. Krissie asked all the right questions to help give us a better idea of what we wanted, she even provides a tasting of her different cakes and mousses - they're all delicious. Our personal favorite was the vanilla cake with her fluffy buttercream frosting. In the end we decided on a three tiered white cake with deep red roses to tie in with our wedding colors and it all turned out beautifully! Several of our guests told us it was the best wedding cake they had ever tasted! Her attention to detail is impeccable and her designs are absolutely exquisite. Aside from the look at taste, she also thinks big picture and takes everything into consideration, everything from the weather for your event to the location that your cake is displayed to ensure both you and your guests are satisfied with the final product. When my now husband and I were planning our wedding, we were so excited to work with The Last Bite for our wedding cake! We have been a fan of all her desserts, so we knew that we were already going to be impressed before we met up for our tasting. When we met with Kristine, she had so many different taste combos, combos we never would have thought of on our own. We were wowed by the whole process of choosing our cake flavors (she even left samples to keep in our fridge for our kids to try). She took great notes and now knows our individual flavor profiles for future events! Flash forward 6 months to the wedding...we received compliments all night! Guests raving that it was "the best wedding cake they ever tasted" and compliments about how beautiful it looked! They did exactly what we wanted...a simple, three tiered cake with fresh flowers. I even asked Kristine if she could slip in a YODA character on the cake to surprise my husband who is a super nerdy Star Wars fan. His mind was blown!! It looked awesome! I’ve personally been a friend of the family for many years, and therefore have tasted cakes from The Last Bite since I was in high school (and every cake I’ve had since is nothing compared to these). I’ve been looking forward to my own wedding to FINALLY get my personal version of these amazing cakes. Lucky me, my wedding is in August, and I had the utmost joy of doing my own personal cake tasting! Krissie is amazing and so knowledgeable of her craft, and the cake combinations were a dream! I can’t wait to see how the final cake turns out visually (but most importantly, taste-wise ;)). Thank you for the dream come true!

"Amazing!" This was the buzz at our wedding reception as guests experienced our wedding cake from The Last Bite. The cake design and presentation were stunning, with billowing, ethereal ruffles to reflect the design of my wedding dress and uniquely adorned with beautiful fresh flowers to reflect style and theme of the reception. The cake was simply stunning and the flavors, out of this world! Many of our guests had not previously experienced a European style cake and were overjoyed with the sophisticated flavors, not too sweet......pure delight! Some guests commented that they didn't see the formal cake because it disappeared so quickly! Thankfully we had plenty of (or what we thought was more than enough) sheet cake plated and ready for service. As word spread around the reception, that disappeared quickly as well! Now I know the inspiration for "The Last Bite". From beginning to end our experience with the Last Bite and it's owner Krissie, were exceptional. We found her extremely professional, warm, knowledgeable and accommodating. I had been to a few tastings prior to meeting with Krissie but the quality and taste of her products, the artistry of her design as well as her personal talent and passion were second to none. Krissie also reminded us, this was a time to have fun! The tasting she presented was spectacular! Krissie came up with absolutely delicious, creative options that we wouldn't have otherwise known based on conversations about taste preferences with my fiancé and I. We tasted, laughed, deliberated and in the end, Krissie helped us narrow down our choices to best suit our family and friends. Once we finalized all the details of the cake design and flavors, I never had to give it another thought. Krissie presented us with a very precise communication timeline, proactively managed the delivery and set up with the reception venue and kept me up to date throughout the process. One of Krissie's service goals is to have the cake process be worry free (as possible) once the planning is complete and she exceeded our expectations. This was a huge relief given the overwhelming number of details and decisions that go into planning a wedding! I can't say enough......creativity, beauty, blissful flavors, and professionalism all rolled into The Last Bite.

Krissie made my wife and I’s wedding cake this past summer, and we couldn’t have been happier with the result. We were both impressed by her professionalism and responsiveness throughout, and even more impressed that our cake was somehow even more delicious than we remembered from our tasting. Krissie truly has a gift, and seeing the look on my wife’s face when she first saw the cake (and later, when we took our first bite) was worth every penny.

After attending a handful of weddings, I began to think of wedding cakes as beautiful looking but ultimately disappointing desserts. But as a lifelong sweet-tooth and cake enthusiast, I was THRILLED when I found The Last Bite. After doing some research and reading all of the glowing reviews on their website/Wedding Wire/The Knot, I decided to schedule a tasting – and was completely blown away by how delicious everything tasted. Without question, Krissie makes the best cakes I have ever tried. On top of that, her cakes are stunning works of art. Our wedding guests still talk about how beautiful and delicious our cake was, and we recommend The Last Bite to everyone we know. As the cherry on top, she is an absolute pleasure to work with and does everything she can to accommodate your needs and make sure you have a stress-free experience. I’m not even normally one to write reviews, but Krissie knocked it out of the park. Can’t recommend enough!

Krissie made us an absolutely beautiful cake for our daughter's 30th birthday celebration. It tasted even better than it looked. The family agreed it was simply the best birthday cake we had ever eaten. Look no further for that cake for a special occasion. Thank you, Krissie!
