I can't recommend Legacy enough! Shatara was so great to work with. She is easy-going, open-minded, and made my day so smooth and fun. The resort was responsive and cooperative to all my requests.

Our wedding was at Legacy in March, and words cannot express how happy we are that we chose this venue. First, the venue coordinator, Shatara, is AMAZING. Leading up to the wedding, she was great at communicating, got all the details down, and was all-around a great person and super awesome to work with. During the wedding, she made sure we had everything we needed and did so much more than we ever expected. I would book this venue just to work with her. Additionally, the catering staff was wonderful and went above and beyond. For the venue itself, it is BEAUTIFUL. We had a welcome party the night before in the Palmer Room, which was a perfect setting that led out onto the patio. For the wedding, our ceremony was on the Sierra Vista lawn, cocktail hour on the Tee Box, and reception on the Cart Pad. It was so awesome to have such unique, but nearby locations to have each event. All of our guests kept telling us how beautiful it was and that they really enjoyed the flow of the day. There are so many different options for catering/bar which are so affordable compared to other venues we toured. Not to mention the vendor they partner with for cake/cupcakes was also amazing. Overall our wedding was perfect, and I wish we could do it all over again at Legacy!

My husband and I got married in November 2022. The venue it’s self is absolutely stunning! They have a variety of areas where you can pick and choose where you would like to host your ceremony/reception, and the beautiful south mountain view during sunset is why we were sold on getting married here! The venue hosted our rehearsal dinner, ceremony and reception. Overall our wedding day went great! My only complaint was the $1000+ mandatory decor fee. This fee is automatically added to your contract for the setup and breakdown of decor. I did not hire a personal wedding planner or coordinator, therefore this was an amazing perk that I was excited was offered by the venue. On the day of our wedding, the reception table centerpieces were not setup correctly (I actually noticed it while we were taking our couple photos and I walked over to correct them). They immediately made the correction and I thought this was only a minor mistake so I brushed it off…However, as we made our way into the reception from cocktail hour, I noticed they set up the wrong table napkin colors and they did not repurpose my floral arch, welcome sign, custom bar menu and stir sticks. There was so much going on that I thought they were still working on getting everything moved over. After an hour of seeing no sign of these items being moved, I made my way over to Shatara the venue coordinator to inform her of all the missing decor. It took them about 20-30 minutes to finally get everything moved over, but as a bride it was extremely frustrating to stop your night to inform them of these mistakes. If the venue is having you pay for the setup/breakdown fee and you have 2 meetings prior to your wedding to discuss these items, I would expect the decor to be set up and in a timely matter.

Shatara at The Legacy Golf Club was our wedding coordinator, and she was absolutely amazing! She was there through the whole process with us and was always able to answer any of our random questions that came up. We also had our rehearsal brunch at the venue that she helped organize. My husband and I were no way pros at planning a wedding but the staff at The Legacy made sure we did everything we needed to in a timely manner, from food tasting, to ordering our cupcakes, to selecting booze and tablecloths, they were on it! Come wedding weekend all our guests enjoyed the staff and wanted me to also give a shoutout to Ty and he also worked both the rehearsal brunch and day of wedding. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful, especially for sunset, and they are accommodating with space for both the bride and groom and the wedding party.

Our wedding was more than we could have asked for! We could not be happier with our choice to have our wedding at Legacy Golf Resort. We were looking for desert vibes and the south mountains were a beautiful backdrop. We were able to have the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception at 3 different spots on the property. Each location was beautiful. Not to mention the price compared to other venues was very reasonable. The packages they offer are great for every budget. Shatara was AMAZING. She was wonderful at communicating and answered all of my questions leading up to the wedding. Wedding day went so smooth because of her! Wouldn’t change a thing. It truly was the best day ever! I would highly recommend this wedding venue.

We had such an amazing wedding day at Legacy! Shatara was so great to work with. We live out of state so we were nervous about planning a wedding from far away, but Shatara was super easy to communicate with and was so helpful. About 99% of our guests flew in from other parts of the country and they were all so impressed by the ambiance of the Sierra Vista lawn, especially at night. We highly recommend Legacy!

My husband and I could not be happier with our wedding at Legacy Golf Club. Truly, was the best day of our lives!! First, the staff was incredible. Especially, the venue coordinator, Savanna. She really went above and beyond to make sure the event was perfect and looked exactly how I envisioned it. She also provided plenty of vendors for me when I asked for numerous suggestions (ALL of which were absolutely amazing). We were not from Arizona so the extra assistance was amazing. I could seriously not think of one thing that didn’t meet my exact vision which I communicated to Savanna a few times. She really understands the couples vision!! I received numerous compliments from guest regarding how helpful she was to them as well. Secondly, the venue itself is absolutely stunning. We barley needed to incorporate florals or decor because the venue alone was breathtaking. We had our ceremony at 5:30 at the Sierra Vista Lawn (which blocked the sun and was set up beautifully). Our cocktail hour was at the top of the hill on the golf course during the sunset and we had the most gorgeous pictures from that time. The guest were constantly coming up to us to tell us that at that moment they understood why we chose Arizona and this gorgeous venue. The reception was at the cart pad and was completely picture perfect. There was plenty of space for my guest and I was able to incorporate other activities besides a dance floor for guest to enjoy. Lastly, we did the full premium package with the venue and that included food and alcohol, as well as many other things (cake, tables, linens, etc.) I can’t even begin to tell you the amount of compliments I got on how the food was delicious and there was plenty of it. My guest were shocked that the food tasted as good as it did considering weddings don’t typically have the best food. I was also provided a plate at my sweetheart table which made it possible for my husband and I to enjoy our meal before we socialized with guest! There was barley ever a line for drinks, they were delicious, and they allowed me to incorporate my signature drinks with no problem. Not only were my husband and I beyond happy with how the day turned out, we have gotten countless compliments on how perfect the night was and how amazing the venue looked. It was a perfect night for us, but also a perfect night for all of our guest who traveled from Florida to celebrate with us. We wish we could redo the night all over again. Overall, I would recommend this venue to ANYONE. It really exceeded ALL of our expectations.

I can’t say enough great words about Legacy and it’s event staff!! After having to postpone our wedding due to the pandemic our coordinator Savanna was so understanding and worked along side us to keep us focus on our goals ahead! Finally our special day came and it was just that SO SPECIAL! Everyone tells you to prepare yourself for things to go wrong on your wedding day but everything went absolutely perfect! I didn’t stress about anything! Not only was Savanna there for me but any staff member I came in contact with was willing to help with a smile on their face. Food was great too and they had lot of options for all guests! Sierra Vista was just so dreamy as the sun came down and peeked through the trees! Everyone kept telling us how stunning it looked while we had our first dance. I remember at one point I said to my newly husband that this was better than I ever could of pictured it. It’s been a little over a month now since our wedding and we still have guests reaching out to tell us how beautiful everything was. We even got a few “that was the best weeding I’ve ever been to”. I will be highly recommending this venue for the rest of my days!

Legacy hosted our wedding. They sold us a package that included their catering services that included hors d’oeuvre, main meal and late night snack. There were only 1-2 mushrooms and pieces of salami per person. For dinner, a little piece of beef and a tablespoon sized scoop of mashed potatoes (not even an ice cream sized scooper) and 2 asparagus per person then they were out of food. I am a light eater and it was not enough food for me so imagine how all the guys felt! I felt so embarrassed, and taken. The bread was also completely stale like it was left over from another wedding or from the restaurant? (Old bread gets kind of white when you break it and very STALE) Also the food manager lady, was defensive and rude. She even yelled at guests, just a group of older very kind aunt and uncles. I get it hospitality is tough but they really didn’t care how we it was for the guests. The vegetarian meals just sat in a cooler and the servers did not let the guests know that option was there for them either. The servers were teenagers which I get but they had no direction on how to do this task. Additionally, we paid 22% gratuity on the entire catering bill and they put a tip jar out without running that past us. Next was the actual wedding coordination, bare minimum communication and attention to detail. Our experience was getting handed back and forth and the person talking you through the details was not the same person actually coordinating day off or even week before. The spot they showed us to have our ceremony that we liked from the beginning, the day of they said no you can’t get married there bc there will be golfers. For getting a hotel block, I and guests both felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff members. Did not feel a team spirit, and not at all customer centric which seems to have carried out from booking to the actually wedding. Even with the hotel block booking, family was at all ends of the resort. Sierra vista was a beautiful spot for a reception but if I did it again…

I cannot say enough good things about Savanna and Katelyn, the wedding planners, at Legacy Golf Resort in Phoenix, az. My daughter's wedding was there on 4-2-22, and everything was perfect! Wedding was on the driving range, and reception in the Sierra Vista area. Katelyn and Savanna were on top of their game - covered everything and more, and did a phenomenal job! We decided on the Legacy because they had lodging, the wedding, reception and a wonderful 3 days all in one place. The cake was also included with the price as well as 2 night of a one-bedroom suite, lunch for bridal party and groomsmen. The Chef w as very good as well. Food was better than i expected. The ladies who worked the room reservation counter, Kelli and Amanda were also very accommodating. The did an excellent job in keeping our family in the same blg and friends close by! The Legacy is a lovely golf course, pool and great place to stay for a vaca in the Phoenix area. Very close to sky harbor airport. all the rooms are timeshares and have all the amenities. Savanna and the team at The Legacy were AMAZING from day 1. Savanna was so responsive with all my questions and random emails over the course of the last 9 months. I was an out of town bride trying to plan everything from the Midwest, so she did multiple FT tours, and was so helpful in setting up a tasting and planning meeting when my fiancé and I came about 6 weeks before the wedding. There was a hiccup on our end with some miscommunication about the rehearsal dinner that was also at the Legacy, and Savanna helped us out like it was no issue at all. She really made a huge effort to make our day the best it possibly could be, and I couldn’t recommend the Legacy more for your venue!

We absolutely loved this venue for both the aesthetics and more importantly the staffing. Savanna and her team kept me at ease throughout the entire process, and I know I was a high maintenance bride. We used the tent for our reception, which was not something they see very often and I got so many compliments on it throughout the process and it gave us the flexibility to be ready for whatever weather was thrown at us. I will recommend this venue over and over and over again!

The Legacy Golf Club was the perfect venue for our wedding! It was absolutely beautiful and they were able to accommodate all of our requests in the time of COVID. The Legacy Golf Club is an absolute GEM. My husband and I couldn't have dreamt up a better spot to get married! Aesthetically, it's simply beautiful. Additionally, we found many wedding venues to be over-priced and under-offered. The Legacy offers amazing packages for a fair price-- which means YOU get WAY MORE for your money! We opted for a top-tier package, and ended up with EVERYTHING we needed and more! From several nights on property, to drinks and sandwiches for our bridal party, to a delicious meal and open bar, and even late night snacks!! People were raving about how fun and entertaining our wedding location was-- thanks to the entire package we were offered! Most importantly, the Legacy offers you a wedding coordinator. Savanna is absolutely incredible! She also had an additional planner, Morgan, on the day of our wedding. Without them, we couldn't have had our dream wedding! From answering 1 million questions month after month, to helping us design our layout, to assisting with vendor recommendations and giving her honest opinion on anything we asked about, Savanna gives her all + 100% more! Not only that, she's an incredible designer! We gave her several tubs of decor and let her work her magic-- and our sweetheart table, cake table, and dining tables couldn't have been more beautiful! She took my "vibe/goals" and ran with them! We were so excited over how beautiful she made everything the day of our wedding! She stays calm under chaos, comes up with solutions to any problem, and guides all your vendors through the process so you don't have to worry about that extra stress! Savanna was kind and friendly and made us feel confident our wedding would be perfect. Our wedding day ended up being on an incredibly windy day in Phoenix, and she still made sure everything ran smoothly and looked incredible. The Legacy Golf Resort is the PERECT place to make all your outdoors-desert-boho wedding dreams come true. Trust me, you'll forever be grateful you picked this beautiful spot with a planner as supportive as Savanna!

Legacy and Savanna were beyond perfect for our wedding! Obviously planning a wedding can be difficult- but throw in trying to do it on a lower budget plus in a pandemic can make it a little more complicated. Savanna was terrific through it all and helped make our day happen and beyond what we had imagined. What attracted us first to Legacy was their overall flexibility. After visiting a few wedding specific venues where their prices were flat and what they offered was what they offered- no real adjustments. Legacy allowed us to use what they had pricing wise- but then also adjust here and there to fit our budget. For example, if you do catering with them- yes you are paying for an appetizer, but Savanna allowed us to bring in our own appetizers after we paid for one with Legacy which saved us a lot of money there. Another simplistic item with Legacy is if you cater with them, it comes with a 2 night hotel stay (bridal suite the night before- turns into honeymoon suite the night of). Being on site for our wedding night made things easy to wrap up at the end of the night and not worrying about having to transport everywhere. Day of to-do's were also taken care of by Legacy. We were able drop off our table decor and and overall wedding decor with Savanna and she took care of it all- to the vision that we had created. Also- grooms room is a golf simulator room- something that truly sets Legacy apart for the grooms as most weddings that I have been apart of as a groomsmen, we are getting changed in a closet or just another hotel room. Without a doubt I would suggest Legacy to anyone- as Savanna will aim to create your dream wedding on the budget you have- no matter how big or small.

To preface this review, my husband and I live in New Jersey, so we had to do a majority of our wedding planning from across the country. However, we could not have asked for a better planning experience over the past year. We chose The Legacy after seeing pictures online and speaking with Savanna McIntosh via email and on the phone. We chose this venue among others because of how impressed we were with Savanna, how gorgeous the venue was, and all that was included. We initially had booked the venue for 11/01/2020 for a normal, full-size wedding, however once Covid happened, we had to make the difficult decision to downsize our ceremony for 2020 and have the big ceremony in 2021. Thankfully, Savanna was extremely flexible and offered for us to use the Sierra Vista lawn for our small ceremony. She helped us make a day that could have been disappointing flawless, smooth, intimate, and better than we could have expected. We are SO excited to have round 2 next year and continue working with Savanna!

Savanna and her staff were amazing! She was so great to work with, very efficient and kind. She was constantly communicating with me for my daughter’s wedding. I loved this venue! Savannah was so helpful in organizing everything and making my wedding vision come true! I felt no stress on the wedding day and the staff took care of everything!

Our son’s wedding was held at the legacy with 135+ guests in attendance. The words that come to mind in describing the event and the support from Legacy leading up to it are stunning and impeccable. Savanna McIntosh and her team made the event flawless. From the beginning of the process, they exhibited professionalism, expertise, a willingness to work with our budget, and most of all, accommodating to all the bride and grooms’ requests. Even their catering recommendation (bakers in our case) were top-notch. During the day, they ensured seamless transitions from activity to activity, perfect coordination of all 4 of our outside vendors, and quietly working in the background to keep everything running smoothly. The ceremony, cocktail, and reception areas and the design of the layout was perfect, spread out enough so it wasn’t all cramped together, yet close enough that a lovely short walk between areas was perfect. A shuttle golfcart service was always available. In addition, mountain, desert, and grass views were the perfect backdrop in every setting. Tons of praise and compliments poured in from our guests. Anyone planning a wedding should seriously consider Legacy for their incredible service. We highly recommend. Numerous venues were considered during the couples’ search and Legacy stood out for the beauty, layout, flexibility of personalizing, and especially, a competent, professional team led by Savanna.

Kelli, Savannah, and the entire team at the Legacy are probably the most wonderful group of people to work with! We didn't tour any other venues after we toured with Kelli because we knew that we weren't going to experience the same care and consideration anywhere else. Kelli was so easy to work with, answered any and all of our questions, and really took the stress out of our entire day. From start to finish, everything was perfect. The entire team is kind, professional, efficient and will go out of their way to make sure you enjoy yourselves! I really can't sing their praises enough. You can really tell Kelli and Savannah care about each couple - they remembered everything we mentioned, asked about, talked about, all of it. Kelli is wonderful at managing all of the different teams and vendors that are working on your wedding and I'm not sure we would have made it through this entire process without her. We opted to have their team cater dinner and the food was absolutely amazing. All of our guests complimented chef and the great BBQ dinner he made for us! The whole team will hold a very special place in our hearts and we would recommend them 10 times over!

My husband and I recently had our wedding reception at the Legacy Golf Club, and I can honestly say it was the BEST decision we made. The location is stunning, the staff is so kind and the food is delicious. However, what really makes The Legacy stand out is the wedding coordinator, Kelli Walsh, and her team. We must've visited more than 20 venues in the Phoenix area but when we met with Kelli we knew The Legacy was the one. She really is as great as all the reviews say, and it's impossible to put into words just how much we appreciated everything she did for us. It really only takes a few minutes of meeting with Kelli to realize how talented she is. She is one of the most responsive, intelligent, reliable and supportive people I've ever met. We had a long engagement which we planned out-of-state and she answered every question (and there were many) clearly and immediately. It blows my mind how she makes you feel like your wedding is the only one she's working on when you clearly know she has a ton she's organizing! I knew I could count on her to ensure everything went flawlessly. Then on the day of our wedding, Savanna on her team was so sweet and on top of everything as well. Our wedding day was perfect and that was in large part because of Kelli and her team. Don't waste any more time looking at other places. Book The Legacy for your wedding now. You will not regret it!

This venue was absolutely perfect!! It was right in our price range and the green golf course was gorgeous! We danced under twinkly lights in the Sierra Vista reception site that gave us that backyard feel we wanted for our 125 guests. Kelli the coordinator knows her stuff! Her and her dream team will bring your vision to life!!

We toured over 20 different venues before visiting the Legacy and we instantly fell in love with the property and the beautiful views. My husband and I decided to take a sneak peak of the venue prior to our "official" tour and Dave, went out of his way to give us a personal tour and answer any questions we had. We then met Kelli Walsh (who just LOVE) and she is honestly the reason why we booked with the Legacy. She took the time to get to know us and understand our vision for our special day. From planning to the day of, Kelli and her team made the whole process very smooth and stress free. We cannot thank Kelli Walsh and the Legacy staff enough for making our dream wedding come to life. Like others have said, Kelli Walsh is amazing at what she does and is a large part of what makes this venue amazing! We had a situation where we had to change our venue about halfway through our planning and the Legacy went above and beyond to make sure we were given the wedding we dreamed of. We had our ceremony at the sierra vista house and our reception in the tent. It was almost 110 degrees on our wedding day, but the staff was still so amazing and accommodating despite being out in the heat all day. More than half of our guests traveled from out of town and stayed at the resort. Everyone appreciated being close to the venue and the golf cart shuttles. I've had multiple people tell me it was the most beautiful wedding they have every been to. I would not hesitate to recommend the Legacy to anyone couple looking to get married.

If I could give this venue more than 5 stars, I would. I went to see The Legacy in October of 2016 as I was venue shopping for my November 4, 2017 wedding. From the moment I met Kelli Walsh, I knew The Legacy was the best choice. I had been to other venues before The Legacy, and did not receive the warmth, compassion, and intuitive understanding of my vision as I did at The Legacy and with Kelli. Kelli was absolutely incredible the entire planning process. She communicated with me and my family (in the most timely fashion I have ever experienced) through phone, text, emailing, and above all, continued to reassure me to take care of myself and leave the rest to her and her team. Kelli wasn't only there to make my wedding the boho-rustic-gardeny dream I had envisioned, but she provided comfort and empathy when the crazy bride in me needed it most! My wedding day was MORE than I thought I wanted; it was absolutely gorgeous and I cannot think of one thing I would've changed. My family and friends did not want to leave at the end of the night and have ranted and raved about how much fun and how beautiful our wedding was. I have received countless comments from my husband, family, and friends about how stinkin' fabulous/wonderful/helpful/amazing Kelli was throughout the whole process, and how PERFECT The Legacy was for a wedding. When I came back to work following the wedding, I had multiple MALE co-workers asking me about the venue in regard to possible future weddings for them! You know the wedding was a success when it motivates men to propose to their girlfriends. :-) The Legacy Golf Resort is absolutely stunning; and Kelli Walsh's passion for what she does makes the entire process easy, fun, happy, and stress-free. I could go on and on and on about how amazing my experience was. Thank you Kelli, your team, and The Legacy Golf Resort for the most incredible wedding I could've ever asked for.

I can't possible say enough good things about this resort, the staff and especially the wedding coordinator Kelli!!! Seriously, I rarely write reviews but this was such an amazing experience I felt compelled. This was my 4th Phoenix wedding for my kids and Kelli was absolutely the BEST!! The entire staff was helpful, professional, friendly. The venue is picturesque and so convenient for out of town guests. Highly recommend this place and Kelli!!
