The Lighthouse Inn

We are so happy that we had our wedding at the Lighthouse Inn! We received so much positive feedback from guests about the venue, wedding overall, and food. We did the cape cod clambake and both the lobster and steak were amazing, plus all the sides the meal came with. Carri was amazing to work with and was so organized and on top of everything, even with all the other weddings she has to keep track of! Our decor was set up just how we described it if not better and we were so happy when we walked into the reception space. Thanks so much for everything!!!! 🙂

We had our wedding at The Lighthouse Inn on 10/12/24. We had the most amazing day! The Lighthouse Inn grounds are so beautiful, and with all the little cottages it has the old school cape feel. Carri was great to work with and made sure that our day flowed seamlessly. Daniel the server made our day, we loved him! All of the servers were very attentive and the food and drinks were great. We were lucky enough to have a beautiful warm day with a gorgeous sunset during our ceremony, it was really like a dream! We can’t wait to visit next year for our anniversary!!

We had a beautiful wedding at the Lighthouse Inn on 10/13/2024 at 1130am. We and some of our guests (40 out of out 130 guests) stayed on site and had a blast. The cottages were the typical quaint and rustic Cape vibe that we love. Plenty of space in our 1 bedroom cottage and the grounds were beautiful to hang out at throughout the weekend. Carri was our coordinator and throughout the entire process she answered every email and had multiple calls with me to make sure everything was set. She also seemed to work great with our wedding planner. She managed our rehearsal and was there the day of to coordinate. The wedding ceremony itself was amazing and right on the beach, you really could not ask for a better set up. Going into our cocktail hour we were greeted by staff (special shout out to Daniel!) who made sure we got our appetizers, drinks, and a moment alone together before the party started! Main reception room was perfect and looked just as I had pictured it. We had decor and flowers, but it really is a space that has charm and speaks for itself and you cannot beat the view! Food was delicious and our specialty drinks were great. Had a great party and so many compliments on the venue. We have been going to the Cape my entire life and somehow have never stumbled across the LHI until wedding planning. I'm so glad that we picked this spot and it will now be a wonderful memory to look back on. I am looking forward to future visits to the LHI and am so grateful!!

This review is long overdue but I needed to share my amazing experience with the Lighthouse Inn. While not local to the cape, it has been a family vacation spot for my entire life and we knew it would make for the perfect destination wedding. We wanted something really classic Cape Cod to give our guests an authentic experience, and the Lighthouse Inn was just that! For the price, it is truly unbeatable - gorgeous waterfront, cozy venue space, and the most delicious wedding food I've ever had. Not to mention that all of their staff and the wedding coordinator, Carri, are OUTSTANDING! She made me feel at ease throughout the entire process, and anytime I was stressed I felt so much better after speaking with her - she has coordinated hundreds of weddings and is such a great resource for recommendations and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Here are my comments & suggestions if using this venue: -Go with the clam bake dinner if you/your guests are into seafood. It was absolutely delicious and the lobster was actually one of the best I've had on the cape. My guests loved it and it was so unique! -A good florist is worth the money and can really enhance the space. I used Kelsey from American Stems and she was phenomenal. -We rented chair ties from Sitting Pretty to add some fabric to the wooden chairs which was a simple but nice upgrade. -There is access to the outdoor deck all night, so we put a cigar bar outside and people really enjoyed that. -With 75 guests, we had everyone seated in the main room and our DJ & photo booth were located in the back room. It worked out totally great, but just something to consider as you think about the layout and flow. -Note that there is no air conditioning in the venue. With the sea breeze, open windows do suffice but it can get warm in there with a lot of people dancing or if it is humid out. Something to consider also when choosing your date. -We had enough space to add extra tables where we put out games and our guests really enjoyed it! Because we did a destination wedding, kids were invited so this was perfect for them. -I'd really recommend staying at the LHI with your wedding party surrounding your special day. It was SO fun having cabins next to one another and hanging out on the property at night - it felt like camp! -We did our marriage paperwork through Dennis Town hall which is just a few minutes away from the venue. Angie is an absolutely sweetheart and made that process super easy. There is a 3-day waiting period after filing your marriage license, so make sure to do all of that timely. We went up to the cape a month before our wedding to take care of our marriage application, visit with vendors, do a final venue walkthrough, and do a hair/makeup trial. We got married in June 2023 and I am still beaming with happiness from that day. It was the most perfect wedding I could have asked for and I will always remember the special moments shared with loved ones in one of my favorite places!

Cannot recommend enough. Classic old Cape style. No flashy/trendy fuss. Beautiful venue. Absolutely stunning background of the jetties during the ceremony. Our guests loved having the deck and outdoor area for our cocktail hour, and the dining room for the reception is so beautiful, minimal decor is needed. The beautiful views are MORE than enough. Clear communication. I cannot say enough nice things about Carri. She is an absolute angel. With a lot of venues on Cape, I feel there's a bit of a "judgemental" vibe, and I never felt that with LHI. Carri worked with us across time zones as we planned our wedding across the country and always answered our emails, gathering all of our details for our day. Carri graciously listened to my MIL'S proposed changes at our rehearsal and ensured I knew about them and approved/disapproved of them before placing them in effect. Carri and her team made setup/takedown a breeze as well. Delicious food.- All of our guests agreed, the appetizers at cocktail hour were amazing! The ravioli were delicious as well. Additional info- The guesthouses available to reserve for the wedding party made travel a breeze for our team as they came from all corners of the country. Having a central location made getting ready a streamlined success, and made post reception festivities a breeze and safe since everyone was staying on site. Additionally, LHI welcomed all of the overnight guests to breakfast the following morning with a smile, making a somewhat "send off" breakfast as everyone parted ways following the wedding weekend. Cannot say enough good things about LHI.

Absolutely amazing! Carri was so wonderful and helpful to work with! I have celiac disease and they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. The location is beyond gorgeous and really economical for a wedding on cape cod!!! Highly recommend staying there if you’re getting married there!!! They made our wedding a beyond memorable experience and are so thrilled with them!!!

We chose The LightHouse Inn for my daughter's wedding, booking a dozen rooms for Friday & Saturday nights, and planning our Saturday afternoon ceremony and reception. Fortunately, we were lucky enough to have one of the few rain-free weekends of the summer of 2023, so our ceremony was outside, and guests could enjoy all of the indoor and outdoor amenities of this lovely venue. The beach setting provided a fun atmosphere and the views were spectacular. The facilities offered something for everyone, and everything was clean and very well-maintained. The staff could not have been any more professional, courteous, and responsive to our needs. Our venue coordinator, Carri Hicks, was so helpful, informative, patient, and fun from our first meeting a year ago to our last goodbye hug at the end of the weekend. The reservation and concierge staff, William, Tiana, and Patrick, always aimed to please as they responded to numerous changes to bookings in the weeks before the wedding, and our endless questions during the wedding weekend. The food at the wedding, in the lower level cafe, and at the breakfast buffet was great, and the kitchen staff and servers were so nice, attentive, and professional. Everyone who attended -- our family and friends from near and far -- were all pleased with every aspect of our weekend at The LightHouse Inn. Thank you for such a wonderful wedding weekend experience !!!

We had the PERFECT wedding day at The Lighthouse Inn! Carri Hicks was our planner, and she was so easy to work with. She is so down to earth, and has an incredible staff at The Lighthouse Inn. Our guests raved about the service, always finding a friendly face. We chose the clambake for our reception dinner and it was a HUGE hit! It was so much fun to watch our guests cracking open lobsters for the first time. The meals were large enough that no one was hungry! You won’t have to worry about your guests saying they had to find late night eats after a dining experience at The Lighthouse Inn! About The Lighthouse Inn, you can’t beat the view. We held our ceremony on the beach, cocktail hour on the lawn, and ceremony inside the spacious dining room. We had gorgeous backdrops of the ocean, and sunset over the grounds, wraparound deck area, and even inside the reception space. Our guests couldn’t get enough of the unforgettable views. My family and I also stayed at the inn. Our guests loved their accommodations. The cottages are such a fun and unique attraction. The reservation staff is so attentive. The front desk even worked out the best cottage for me to ensure I had enough space for myself and 6 bridesmaids to get our hair and makeup done for the big day. Every interaction with The Lighthouse Inn team was full of warmth. Upon entering the dining room for breakfast the morning after our big day, we were greeted by staff’s kind words about the event, my gown, the flowers, etc. We could not have asked for more. Fantastic venue, fabulous staff, and unforgettable memories!
