The Lighthouse Inn

We highly recommend the Lighthouse Inn! We were looking for a venue where our friends and family could stay on property with us, where our ceremony could be on the beach (but not in the sand), and was reasonably priced -- the Lighthouse Inn checked all those boxes and more. Carri was great to work with! She helped us efficiently plan the day, she was responsive as questions came up, and very knowledgeable of the property, vendors, and the area. Our wedding was the first of the season, but based on everything, you wouldn't have known. The staff were so attentive, helpful, and friendly. The main house and cottages were all clean and well maintained. We loved getting to have some extra time with guests throughout the weekend, enjoying the property and at the breakfast they offer. Everyone had a great time and many complimented the property. We are so happy we chose the Lighthouse Inn!

This review is long overdue but I needed to share my amazing experience with the Lighthouse Inn. While not local to the cape, it has been a family vacation spot for my entire life and we knew it would make for the perfect destination wedding. We wanted something really classic Cape Cod to give our guests an authentic experience, and the Lighthouse Inn was just that! For the price, it is truly unbeatable - gorgeous waterfront, cozy venue space, and the most delicious wedding food I've ever had. Not to mention that all of their staff and the wedding coordinator, Carri, are OUTSTANDING! She made me feel at ease throughout the entire process, and anytime I was stressed I felt so much better after speaking with her - she has coordinated hundreds of weddings and is such a great resource for recommendations and ensuring that everything runs smoothly. Here are my comments & suggestions if using this venue: -Go with the clam bake dinner if you/your guests are into seafood. It was absolutely delicious and the lobster was actually one of the best I've had on the cape. My guests loved it and it was so unique! -A good florist is worth the money and can really enhance the space. I used Kelsey from American Stems and she was phenomenal. -We rented chair ties from Sitting Pretty to add some fabric to the wooden chairs which was a simple but nice upgrade. -There is access to the outdoor deck all night, so we put a cigar bar outside and people really enjoyed that. -With 75 guests, we had everyone seated in the main room and our DJ & photo booth were located in the back room. It worked out totally great, but just something to consider as you think about the layout and flow. -Note that there is no air conditioning in the venue. With the sea breeze, open windows do suffice but it can get warm in there with a lot of people dancing or if it is humid out. Something to consider also when choosing your date. -We had enough space to add extra tables where we put out games and our guests really enjoyed it! Because we did a destination wedding, kids were invited so this was perfect for them. -I'd really recommend staying at the LHI with your wedding party surrounding your special day. It was SO fun having cabins next to one another and hanging out on the property at night - it felt like camp! -We did our marriage paperwork through Dennis Town hall which is just a few minutes away from the venue. Angie is an absolutely sweetheart and made that process super easy. There is a 3-day waiting period after filing your marriage license, so make sure to do all of that timely. We went up to the cape a month before our wedding to take care of our marriage application, visit with vendors, do a final venue walkthrough, and do a hair/makeup trial. We got married in June 2023 and I am still beaming with happiness from that day. It was the most perfect wedding I could have asked for and I will always remember the special moments shared with loved ones in one of my favorite places!

Cannot recommend enough. Classic old Cape style. No flashy/trendy fuss. Beautiful venue. Absolutely stunning background of the jetties during the ceremony. Our guests loved having the deck and outdoor area for our cocktail hour, and the dining room for the reception is so beautiful, minimal decor is needed. The beautiful views are MORE than enough. Clear communication. I cannot say enough nice things about Carri. She is an absolute angel. With a lot of venues on Cape, I feel there's a bit of a "judgemental" vibe, and I never felt that with LHI. Carri worked with us across time zones as we planned our wedding across the country and always answered our emails, gathering all of our details for our day. Carri graciously listened to my MIL'S proposed changes at our rehearsal and ensured I knew about them and approved/disapproved of them before placing them in effect. Carri and her team made setup/takedown a breeze as well. Delicious food.- All of our guests agreed, the appetizers at cocktail hour were amazing! The ravioli were delicious as well. Additional info- The guesthouses available to reserve for the wedding party made travel a breeze for our team as they came from all corners of the country. Having a central location made getting ready a streamlined success, and made post reception festivities a breeze and safe since everyone was staying on site. Additionally, LHI welcomed all of the overnight guests to breakfast the following morning with a smile, making a somewhat "send off" breakfast as everyone parted ways following the wedding weekend. Cannot say enough good things about LHI.

Absolutely amazing! Carri was so wonderful and helpful to work with! I have celiac disease and they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. The location is beyond gorgeous and really economical for a wedding on cape cod!!! Highly recommend staying there if you’re getting married there!!! They made our wedding a beyond memorable experience and are so thrilled with them!!!

We chose The LightHouse Inn for my daughter's wedding, booking a dozen rooms for Friday & Saturday nights, and planning our Saturday afternoon ceremony and reception. Fortunately, we were lucky enough to have one of the few rain-free weekends of the summer of 2023, so our ceremony was outside, and guests could enjoy all of the indoor and outdoor amenities of this lovely venue. The beach setting provided a fun atmosphere and the views were spectacular. The facilities offered something for everyone, and everything was clean and very well-maintained. The staff could not have been any more professional, courteous, and responsive to our needs. Our venue coordinator, Carri Hicks, was so helpful, informative, patient, and fun from our first meeting a year ago to our last goodbye hug at the end of the weekend. The reservation and concierge staff, William, Tiana, and Patrick, always aimed to please as they responded to numerous changes to bookings in the weeks before the wedding, and our endless questions during the wedding weekend. The food at the wedding, in the lower level cafe, and at the breakfast buffet was great, and the kitchen staff and servers were so nice, attentive, and professional. Everyone who attended -- our family and friends from near and far -- were all pleased with every aspect of our weekend at The LightHouse Inn. Thank you for such a wonderful wedding weekend experience !!!

We had the PERFECT wedding day at The Lighthouse Inn! Carri Hicks was our planner, and she was so easy to work with. She is so down to earth, and has an incredible staff at The Lighthouse Inn. Our guests raved about the service, always finding a friendly face. We chose the clambake for our reception dinner and it was a HUGE hit! It was so much fun to watch our guests cracking open lobsters for the first time. The meals were large enough that no one was hungry! You won’t have to worry about your guests saying they had to find late night eats after a dining experience at The Lighthouse Inn! About The Lighthouse Inn, you can’t beat the view. We held our ceremony on the beach, cocktail hour on the lawn, and ceremony inside the spacious dining room. We had gorgeous backdrops of the ocean, and sunset over the grounds, wraparound deck area, and even inside the reception space. Our guests couldn’t get enough of the unforgettable views. My family and I also stayed at the inn. Our guests loved their accommodations. The cottages are such a fun and unique attraction. The reservation staff is so attentive. The front desk even worked out the best cottage for me to ensure I had enough space for myself and 6 bridesmaids to get our hair and makeup done for the big day. Every interaction with The Lighthouse Inn team was full of warmth. Upon entering the dining room for breakfast the morning after our big day, we were greeted by staff’s kind words about the event, my gown, the flowers, etc. We could not have asked for more. Fantastic venue, fabulous staff, and unforgettable memories!

The Lighthouse Inn is a venue you won't want to skip. We recently got married at the LHI on 6/10 and it truly encaptures old cape cod - and what the Cape is all about! As a Dennis local, we wanted somewhere where family and friends could gather, and that people could enjoy whether from near of far. From the beach to the pool, tennis (made into pickleball) courts, mini golf and cornhole - there was something for everyone to do! From the staff, to cottages, service and everything inbetween the LHI did not disappoint. Carri, the Event Manager, was top notch. She took care of every detail, from soup to dessert, ceremony and beyond. Carri plans events with such ease, and a calm demeanor - there truly is nothing to stress over - and nothing she won't work her magic to try to accommodate and bring your vision to life. Our weekend at the LHI is unforgettable and unbeatable thanks to everyone at the Inn!

I recently got married at the Lighthouse Inn and it was an incredible experience!!! The staff were extremely helpful, the food was delicious, and you can't beat the location/scenery. Carri, the wedding planner, is the best and made the wedding very personal for what we wanted (did not go the more traditional route). The cottages were also perfect for our friends/family to bop back and forth, and they were very clean. This is one of my favorite go to's on Cape Cod and will definitely be back!

The Lighthouse Inn was an amazing wedding venue. Carri Hicks was our go-to person for all things planning. She was very prompt with her responses and made us feel like we were the only wedding happening that summer. She was accommodating and helpful and made the planning process easy and manageable! On the day of the wedding, things happened seamlessly from the beachside ceremony to cocktail hour out on the lawn to dinner upstairs in the dining room and then finally down to the dance floor in the basement. Carri and her staff were attentive and professional and I cannot say enough good things! The clam bake was excellent and all of our guests from the mid-west had so much fun cracking the lobsters. The beach was beautiful and a perfect backdrop for our special day. Staying at the Lighthouse Inn was such a quaint and perfect way to experience Cape Cod! We plan to come back for a first anniversary trip!

If you're looking for a traditional New England theme for your wedding, look no further! Not only is the location amazing with the ceremony spot being right on the Atlantic Ocean, but the grounds are a great place for all types of wedding pictures: first look, bridal parties, formals, scenic, etc. On top being an amazing venue, Carrie and the Lighthouse Inn staff are superb, attentive, caring and ready to help with your wedding day needs. We planned our wedding at the Lighthouse Inn all the way from California, which wasn't even the slightest bit a problem when working with Carrie because she truly knows what she's doing and was ready to answer all of our planning and day of questions. I know our wedding wouldn't have been as smooth without her there as our day-of-coordinator, and her amazing staff who were attentive the whole event. The Lighthouse Inn also offers the BEST wedding food I, my husband, family and friends have ever had. We chose the clambake menu, having our guests choose from either lobster or steak as a main, and I heard rave reviews from everyone (including our DJ and photographer) on how amazing the food was. Most of our guests didn't even get to eat dessert as there was so much food at the dinner! All in all, we have no regrets from my wedding day and even think back and wish we could do it all over again just because of how fun the day was and how effortless Carrie and the Lighthouse Inn made it.

We got married here on Oct 1, 2022. I cannot say enough about how wonderful it was... simply perfect. Working with Carrie Hicks at the Inn for planning it was a dream. She was responsive, kind, funny and treated me like I was the only wedding happening. Our phone calls and emails were responded to quickly and the options she presented were perfect. A few days before the wedding we met with her personally and went over the final details. Besides the rain on my perfect day, the wedding was amazing. Carrie and her staff were marvelous. I had no issues during setup, the event or tear down. Every guest that attended could not say enough about the food either. We had lobster rolls, crab cakes, fish cakes, prime rib, etc etc. Most people said it was the best food they had in their life. They checked in with us during the wedding to make sure we didn't need anything and brought us anything we wanted.... I never got to a lobster roll and I asked Carrie for one.. and was presented with the most delicious one I had in my life. I couldn't say enough about the staff either. Every guest said the bartenders were so nice and funny! The next morning we went and had breakfast, as soon as we entered the lobby the staff said "oh, the Bride and Groom are here!".... I was just shocked at how much love and warmth everyone showed towards us. They even offered to keep the top of our wedding cake at The Inn until we left a few days later. If you are looking for a venue to have your wedding on the Cape... The Lighthouse Inn should be your first choice!

We got married at The Lighthouse Inn on September 25th. If you're looking for something with old Cape Cod style beachy charm, this place is 100% it. The view cannot be beat, and the pricing was some of the most reasonable we found when searching for our wedding venue. We had our ceremony performed next to the beach and our reception inside and everything could not have been more perfect (besides the gusty wind, which is to be expected being so close to the water). Carri was our in-house coordinator and she made sure that everything went according to schedule and to plan. She was always available to answer my many questions. The night before the wedding (and the night of the wedding) we (the bride and groom) stayed in one of the one bedroom cottages. The cottages had plenty of space for us to get ready with our bridal parties the morning of the wedding and were just as quaint and adorable as the rest of the venue. Thank you again for a day we won't forget!

Perfect venue for our daughter's wedding! If you are looking for Cape Cod charm, delicious food, and an ocean view, you can't beat The Lighthouse Inn in West Dennis. The ceremony was right on the edge of the beach. As soon as it was over, the staff was right there serving appetizers outside to our guests and taking drink orders. Carri, the manager, handled all of our details and decoration requests beautifully. The staff and service were excellent. We also had perfect weather, which was a bonus! Highly recommend!

We had an amazing time at the lighthouse inn for our wedding weekend. It gave our wedding the true “Cape Cod” feel that we were absolutely going for. We definitely ran into a few hiccups before and during the wedding. A few things that we were told wasn’t a problem during the planning stages either was impossible or extremely different then what was discussed. The day before our wedding we were told that the event before ours ended up getting canceled and that they would start setting up at 11:30 and allow the MOB and MOH to make the final decision on where the decorations were to be placed. The MOH and MOB ended up setting up almost everything. We sure are glad that the other event canceled no way this could have happened in the original 45 min we were told. Also will say that certain changes we made months earlier were never actually implemented. My wife and i stayed in the main hotel, the room was pretty nice but definitely has that old New England B&B feel. The walls were pretty thin and i’m happy my wife and i are both heavy sleepers but thats what you get with a 100+ year old Inn. The cottages where the family and wedding party stayed were much more modern and everyone was happy with their rooms. I will say all the rooms are all very random with their sizes. The ceremony on the beach was beautiful but had a few hiccups with certain things not being turned on when supposed to and people being told to sit in the wrong spot. It was a beautiful setting but i will say if having randoms walk through during your ceremony would bother you think about having it in doors or during the offseason for the restaurant. We went with the “Clam Bake” and were absolutely overwhelmed (in a good way) with the portion sizes. The Clam chowder was some of the best we’ve ever had. The lobster was cooked perfectly and the shells took absolutely no effort to crack open. The corn was amazingly sweet. Most people who ordered the steak said it was good and tasty, but some people did(Including Bride) complain that it was overcooked. The chicken and sausage were very tasty and the steamers and muscles were great as well. The waitstaff definitely seemed like they were stretched thin but they busted their butts to get everyone feed in a timely manner. It definitely seemed a bit random with who got their meals when but in the end it worked out just fine and we were satisfied. The reception in the downstairs bar was a blast and and the walkout access to the outside patio and fireplace was a huge benefit and gave everyone somewhere to easily catch their breath from dancing. Overall we would absolutely recommend the Lighthouse Inn to anyone looking for a true cape cod wedding at a fraction of the cost one would normally expect to pay. The ceremony was beautiful, the food was great and the dancing was a blast. What more could we ask for.

We had our wedding here on 8/27/22 and it was a wonderful venue and experience. We are from out of state and booked the venue site unseen in the fall and didn't tour the property until the Spring . That happen to be prior to the Venue opening for the season and I had trouble envisioning how it would look in the summer when the Inn was in full swing and operational. I would tell others who see it during this time to not let it discourage you. Carrie, the wedding coordinator was wonderful to work with. She was kind, helpful and always responded in a timely manner. The property is great and being able to spend an extended weekend there with family and friends was a treat. The weather was excellent and we were able to have our ceremony outside. The backdrop that the property provides for photos is second-to-none. Between the beach, the dunes and the jetty's, you will get some amazing shots. We had the clambake for our dinner and received many compliments from our guests. The price for this was reasonable and you got a lot of food. We were a summer wedding so the dinner took place in a different room then cocktails and dancing. I actually liked having the space to move around throughout the night. They also provide some lawn space which was great as we were able to have our cocktail here with the beach right behind us following the beach ceremony. We had a lot of decor that we brought and the staff packed it up wonderfully for us at the end of the night. Great venue, great staff, great memories, reasonably priced, would definitely recommend.

Lighthouse Inn was overall a great venue to host a wedding weekend. We would do it again! What really made our weekend memorable was being able to have all of our guests stay onsite. This allowed us to enjoy the grounds and spend time with our loved ones; we brought our own games in addition to what was provided by the Lighthouse Inn. The pool and beach were a huge hit for our guests. It felt like a vacation with the side of a wedding, which is exactly what we wanted – not to mention, the food all weekend (rehearsal and reception) was outstanding! Reviews about different aspects below. Rooms Tiana was outstanding! She was super accommodating, patient, and understanding as we had multiple room changes (especially getting close to the wedding due to COVID). The changes at times were complicated but she seamlessly updated the reservations. The accommodations were great from houses to cottages to individual rooms. The venue made sure to put our welcome bags in each room and if there was a problem, they responded promptly. Planning Bill & Carri were amazing! They were so sweet and helpful guiding us through the wedding planning process. We were able to meet with them on several occasions in person and over the phone. Coming from out of state, they truly made the process smooth and alleviated our stresses. Rehearsal Carri was great during the rehearsal; we had quite a few people to organize and she helped us rehearse quick! We had our rehearsal drinks and dinner at Lighthouse Inn and she wanted to make sure myself and my husband were able to get to the fun as quick as possible. We did stations for the rehearsal and the food was fantastic! Day of Carri helped make sure guests found their seats at the same time as coordinating the groomsmen and bridal party. She was fantastic. The day before the wedding, we gave her all of our décor with instructions on where it should be placed and everything was exactly where it needed to be! The ceremony went smooth and quick, like we wanted. A minor issue we faced was moving from the downstairs to the upstairs and back down again during various parts of the night. We knew this going into the wedding, so Lighthouse Inn isn’t at fault. As well, the upstairs room was on the warmer side; it didn’t help there was no breeze that night!

My husband and I chose the Lighthouse Inn as our wedding venue and we cannot recommend it highly enough! From the start, the event coordinators were very clear on all aspects of the wedding planning which was very helpful. They were always happy to answer questions and go above and beyond to ensure your day was perfect. The staff on the day of the wedding was very professional and attentive to the guests. All and all, everything went smoothly without any hiccups because of the experience and professionalism of the workers. Obviously, the view makes it even that much better! You won’t regret having your wedding there.

The Lighthouse Inn far exceeded our expectations for my son and daughter in law’s dream wedding! We had 85 guests, many of which stayed on site in either the rooms at the Inn or in the darling cottages on the property. From planning to execution, the staff lead by Carri, Bill and Joe made the day perfect in every way. Joe and staff actually picked rose petals on the property for the flower girls baskets when the florist forgot them, 10 minutes before the ceremony! Over and above also when it came to quality of service. Professional, friendly and funny staff who helped take photos, tie flower girls ribbons and add humor to our day! The food was amazing from the rehearsal dinner to the actual wedding. Appetizers and cocktails were served throughout. The setting was STUNNING and the weather was PERFECT for their seaside, magical celebration. HIGHLY RECOMMEND! 5+ STARS!

Had our wedding there June 4 2022. This was an 11:30am ceremony on the beach. Beautiful venue with Rustic Capecod charm. The food was amazing and I would give that 5+ stars. When I arrived before the ceremony there wasn't a mirror for the bride in the room I was to wait in. I wish I had known this. I would have brought my own. This made me anxious as I could not check how I looked prior to the ceremony and afterwards. Had a little trouble customizing the bar options for my guests. We had a small guest list (40 people). There wasn't any cake cutting because we had purchased cup cakes. I realized that ice cream was not served for dessert with the cupcakes as I expected and was told would be included. We unexpectedly had issues with gnats or beach fleas during the ceremony because it was cloudy with no breeze. This was disturbing for my guests and myself. Had I known, I would have asked for bug spray in advance and wish the coordinator had some on hand for myself and our guests. If you do a day wedding at this place you will be abrubtly rushed out at the end of your wedding time. ( no hanging out on the beach with lingering guests) I had to stop socializing and pack up so they could set up for the next wedding. All and all I was happy with everything.

Had our wedding here September 2021. The venue was perfect for our 80-90 guest list and the clam bake was amazing. So much food! The ceremony on the beach was unreal and the sunset was picturesque. Bill was there for our every need and the breakfast in the morning was yummy. We danced the night away and it was nice having everyone stay on property. The only thing I would recommend would be a 2nd bar and more communication during the reception.

Had my wedding at the Lighthouse Inn in July and it was amazing. A beautiful venue, and Bill was so easy going and helped to make what could have been a stressful planning process easy and enjoyable!

We originally booked the Lighthouse Inn for our wedding in 2020. When COVID made that impossible, the venue was very accommodating in allowing us to postpone for a year without additional deposits or upcharging. In Fall 2021, when we held our 1-year anniversary/wedding, we found the food to be phenomenal, and the portions enormous. The location cannot be beaten - you can actually get married right on the sand, just feet from the waves, while the interior boasts elegant large wooden beams. The pictures and video on the site are very accurate, and the venue’s grounds are quite large, which is great for ensuring you can still enjoy the venue even while another wedding may be occurring. We appreciate all the help and work that the venue’s staff put in to setup our many, many DIY wedding decorations, and then re-boxing them all within 30 minutes. The experience was amazing and we’ll never forget it!

The best wedding ever. All your guests can stay on site- you get to hangout with everyone and the views and pictures are incredible! Everyone said it was the wedding of the year! Can't recommend it enough

Great venue with a beautiful backdrop for the ceremony. Service the day of was great and everything ran smoothly. Working with Bill Sherman was great - very straightforward, responsive, and professional.

Our son was married on 9/3 and we held our rehearsal dinner and welcome party the night before at Lighthouse Inn. I could not have asked for more. The food was excellent, service impeccable, and the views were amazing! I would definitely recommend Lighthouse Inn to others. Bill Sherman, who is the food and beverage manner there was extremely supportive and helpful throughout the process. Even if it is just for dinner, my husband and I will visit Lighthouse Inn next summer!

We cannot say enough wonderful things about the Lighthouse Inn! Bill Sherman, the wedding coordinator, is fantastic! He is very straight to the point and through, keeps decision making and planning very simple and uncomplicated. He's been doing this for years and knows exactly what you need. The Inn itself is an absolute charmer! With the waterfront views, the cozy reception area, the wonderful food, the friendly and super helpful staff... you really can't go wrong. Pricing for weddings can't be beat on cape for the views you also get. We're talking Pelham House Chatham Bars Inn views without the ridiculous price tags. Even the accommodations... per little "old Cape" cottages... similar to those over in Chase's in Dennisport. Our whole wedding party and many guest stayed onsite and everyone loved it... to the point they booked again for next year! I know this is bias, by my wedding was the best wedding I've ever been to and that is largely credited to the Lighthouse Inn. Its perfect and everyone you have here will agree. We could not be happier! If I could do it all again, I'd do it here and exactly the same! We love the Lighthouse Inn!

Beachfront location was beautiful and service from coordinator to wait staff was exceptional! Great spot for an intimate rehearsal dinner and very accommodating for picky eaters along with being very allergy compliant. Venue was a little warm in August but to be expected with location and season of event. Traditional Cape Cod venue that delivered!

Fabulous venue!!!! Our daughter got married in Hawaii in the beginning of August. A lot of our family and friends couldn't make it to Hawaii because of Covid. We had a FANTASTIC celebration at the end of August at The Lighthouse Inn. Everything was perfect!!! We served appetizers --that were delicious--chowder--fabulous, dessert that was so good and open bar. The staff was wonderful, and the set up over looking the water was breathtaking!!!! It was AMAZING!!!!!

The Lighthouse Inn is such a magical place and we can't even begin to describe the memorable experience we had for our wedding weekend. We knew this would be our venue from the first day we toured the facility. It had everything we were looking for and it just has that New England charm everyone knows and loves. Working with Bill throughout the planning process was so easy and stress free, even after our decision to postpone during the early months of Covid. When our wedding weekend finally arrived our guests were so blown away by the grounds and the accessibility of all the amenities. It's perfect for kids as well! We had a beautiful wedding day, everything went according to plan and we couldn't have asked for better service from all the staff at the Lighthouse Inn. What we loved the most was being right on the beach, the uniqueness of the venue, and how we got to enjoy a weekend with all our friends and family! We didn't have to worry about transportation, everything you need is right on site! We plan to come back every year on our anniversary, we love the Lighthouse Inn so much! Thank you for everything!!

I can not say enough good things about Bill Sherman at the Lighthouse Inn! He was very helpful, professional, and organized during the planning process as well as readily available to answer any questions we had. On our wedding day, he was an excellent coordinator and was able to accommodate changes with ease due to another vendor's lateness and the blistering heat on the hottest day of the year. I would recommend for future bride's to be aware there is not air conditioning in the whole building.

The Lighthouse Inn was the absolutely perfect place for our wedding! Everyone from out of town loved staying on the property, and the cottages were ideal for pre/post wedding hangouts. Our main contact, Bill Sherman, was a dream to work with and made the entire process (even with postponing due to COVID) a breeze. He is extremely punctual, detail oriented, and made sure everything went smoothly the day of. The staff was incredible and everyone made sure that my husband and I were eating/drinking throughout the night. Definitely top tier service and overall experience. We did the lobster clam bake dinner, which was a huge hit! All of the guests loved the meal and everyone left full. I can't say enough about how amazing this venue was and how great our experience was from start to finish.

What could be a more spectacular place for a wedding than The Lighthouse Inn! We were blessed with a perfect day, and the wedding and reception venues were just as stunning! All the staff, including the management, could not have been more accommodating in helping us to plan a pandemic wedding, with restrictions changing on a weekly basis. Having the opportunity for our guests to stay on site at such a family-friendly resort was a huge plus! Many will be repeat visitors, I am sure! Thank you, Bill and Cari, for making dreams come true!

I couldn't recommend anywhere more highly for a wedding than the LHI! My wife and I got married there a week ago and everything was perfect. The view is incredible, the beach is amazing, outdoor cocktail hour was perfect, the food was great, and the space is perfect for a big party. The staff is incredible from the top to the bottom. The wedding director Bill is incredible. It is apparent right away that he has a ton of experience and has planned many weddings at the LHI. He was an absolute pleasure to deal with. I wouldn't have ever imagined such a perfect night!

After searching for the perfect venue we settled on the lighthouse inn. I am extremely happy with how our wedding turned out. Everyone raved about the beauty of the location. We had a day time wedding to save some money and I don’t regret that decision at all, although our wedding did feel short. We had several compliments on the food (clam bake). They set up my decorations beautifully. My favorite part of the whole weekend though was having everyone I loved just a cottage away. The Inn feels like a little bubble of old New England. I will remember it forever.

He was understanding and accommodating with everything that COVID threw our way, with postponing and moving dates. Ultimately, we ended up canceling our large wedding (much to our dismay) and the Lighthouse Inn was extremely understanding and empathetic. I could not recommend Bill and his team more! You get your very own contact person who has been planning weddings for a long time. He knows what goes right, what goes wrong, and how to make your day perfect. The location is gorgeous, inside and out. They can accommodate small weddings and large weddings, and they can keep you safe during the pandemic! The food is incredible - all of my guests were so impressed - I keep hearing that it was the best food they've had at a wedding! The staff are friendly and kind, and the service is amazing! The staff also work well with other vendors, and they even have a list of recommendations to help with your planning purposes! I never dreamed a pandemic wedding could be perfect, but the wonderful staff at the Lighthouse Inn ensured that it was! I am so thankful that we booked the Lighthouse Inn. It was certainly the best wedding we could have imagined!

The Lighthouse Inn was truly the best venue we could have chosen for our daughter's wedding. Every detail was above & beyond what we had anticipated. The staff was excellent. If you are looking for a beautiful backdrop for your beach wedding, the Lighthouse Inn is the place for you. Our COVID wedding exceeded all of our expectations. Bill and his team made sure our day went smooth and we felt so loved by all of the staff, who greeted us by name every time they saw us. We loved our stay and our room which was steps away from the ocean. Our wedding year was so stressful and the Lighthouse Inn and their staff took all that stress away. We would recommend this venue to anyone looking for an accommodating and beautiful place to stay.

We originally had our wedding scheduled for May, Bill made rescheduling our date as easy as possible. For our new date in August, Bill worked with us to ensure all COVID guidelines were met so that us and all of our guests could enjoy the day without worry. On the weekend of our wedding, a tropical storm was coming up the coast and we were very worried about being able to keep the ceremony outside. Bill, again, came through for us and monitored the weather all morning, and had contingency plans in place in case we had to make a switch at the last minute. Luck was on our side and we were able to keep the ceremony outside as planned. The food for both our cocktail hour and dinner was amazing. The staff made the entire evening flow wonderfully. I would highly recommend The Lighthouse Inn for anyone looking for a beach wedding on Cape Cod!

Amazing Amazing Amazing!! I can't even begin to describe how fantastic the team is at the Lighthouse Inn. Bill was so helpful during the Pandemic stress and trying to keep our wedding on the same date with all the guidelines and protocols for Covid. Our day was exceptional. The bridal party stayed in the Guest House which is gorgeous and so close to the ocean. He made sure everything ran smoothly for the ceremony and flawlessly to the inside dining. I got so many compliments on the food and service. Nothing short of fantastic. The staff was kind and courteous and made sure we were taken care of. The setting is stunning, the rooms for dinner are simple and beautiful which is just what I wanted. I wouldn't hesitate for a second recommending the Lighthouse Inn for a wedding! 10 stars!! Growing up on Cape Cod- I really wanted a venue that kept the charm and small town feel. This is it! It was one of the more affordable places we were able to find but definitely without sacrificing quality! Don't hesitate to contact Bill- you won't regret it!!

Back in July, my then fiancé and I were saved by the lighthouse inn and Bill! We had just postponed our big wedding in August due to covid and we called the Lighthouse inn in hopes that they could host our mini wedding on the same date in August. Bill, was amazing! Not only did they have the availability but he gave us a tremendous discount. He helped us organize and prepare for our big day. We have 10 guests coming and one of our guests rooms was upgraded to a the bedroom villa for free! The resort is gorgeous, the food is delicious, and our wedding went so well! It was one of the best days of my life, and I really give Bill and the light house inn so much credit for that. HAVE YOUR WEDDING HERE! Work with Bill! You won’t regret it.

The Lighthouse Inn was our dream wedding venue! When the pandemic struck, Bill and the rest of the Lighthouse Inn staff were beyond helpful and working with us for plan B and plan C. Unfortuantely, our wedding did not end up happening at the Lighthouse Inn, but I can't express how great they all were throughout the entire process! Bill is the most organized and helpful coordinator-we were blessed to have him with us along the way. We plan to come back and celebrate our anniversary with family and friends at the Inn next year!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect! Bill Sherman was so easy to work with, and made our wedding day so incredibly amazing! Everything was exactly how I'd pictured it. I got so many compliments from all of our guests saying how amazing the venue was, and how they all had such a great time. I even had some people tell me that the clam chowder they served was the best they have ever had! The food was all amazing and delicious. They let us decide exactly how we wanted all the table and chairs set up, and they had a bunch of different options, which made it so easy to customize our vision. We really wanted to have our ceremony outdoors, but the weather that day was a little gloomy/rainy. Bill and his team had a back-up option for us just in case the weather took a turn for the worst. Luckily, the weather cleared up enough, and we were able to get married outside! Bill and his team set up all the decorations we provided, and worked flawlessly with our other vendors, even when a few things didn't go as originally planned. We had the most perfect day, and we were so grateful we chose The Lighthouse Inn!

We had the most magical day of our lives thanks to Bill and everyone at LHI! Everyone went above and beyond to make everything perfect, and accommodated all of my little requests and two giant crazy families for the whole weekend... they even allowed our flower pup participate in our ceremony, and had a golf cart on standby to transport my husband's elderly grandmother wherever she needed to go, making her feel like a VIP! The food was also amazing - we chose the Cape Cod clambake and all of our friends and family have told us it was the most and best food they have ever had at a wedding (and we agree)! Bill is incredible to work with, and did an amazing job checking in on us throughout the day to make sure we were having the best time. We cannot recommend them highly enough!!

We were married at the Lighthouse Inn on 9/7/19-the day after Hurricane Dorian! Just hours before our wedding time of 6pm the sun came out and the wind stopped. It was a beautiful, magical setting, The Lighthouse Inn is quintessential Cape Cod. It provided our out of town guests--many of whom had never experienced the Cape--a perfect Cape Cod experience. We all stayed on site in the cozy, comfortable, and updated cottages. The ceremony was breathtaking- overlooking the water. The cocktail hour and reception went without a hitch. The food was plentiful and delicious. Carri did an excellent job ensuring that everything went on as scheduled. I highly recommend the Lighthouse Inn for anyone who is looking for a perfect Cape Cod wedding!

We used the Lighthouse Inn for our rehearsal dinner and welcome party. Bill was great to work with throughout the whole planning process. He responded quickly to all our emails and was flexible with menu options. All our guests enjoyed it there and the service was great! The staff was so friendly and the food was incredible! I would absolutely recommend The Lighthouse Inn for a rehearsal dinner. My family has also eaten there for dinner and stayed at the hotel multiple times and would recommend going there for any occasion! Beautiful building, great views, awesome staff.

My husband and I were expecting a quaint, cute Cape Cod wedding. We were blown away from what we got. Bill Sherman is so organized, thorough, and prompt. My main priority in vendors is customer service and after visiting the lighthouse inn (the first Venue I visited) I immediately put down our deposit. Everything went so smoothly. We couldn’t be happier with our decision to get married here. The food was outstanding- I highly HIGHLY recommended the NE clambake. Bill continuously checked in on us during the ceremony. He was even bussing tables at one point. The beauty of the location was what made the Lighthouse Inn so appealing. The professionalism and efficiency is what made this wedding the most perfect we could have ask for. We keep being told how we had the most beautiful wedding of the year!

Our wedding was absolutely perfect. The food (Clam bake) was fantastic; everyone was raving about it, and the amount of food was incredible. Bill, the wedding coordinator, attended to everything without being invasive. His relaxed demeanor helped us to stay in the moment. The venue is full on old school charm. Not overly fancy, every single guest raved about the location. The wait staff and management team were also amazing. We stayed two days prior and after the wedding and plan to revisit every year. I wanted a relaxed, happy, almost casual event. The Lighthouse Inn delivered my dream wedding. Highly recommend !

This was the most perfect venue we could have ever asked for. Bill was the most amazing person to work with. I got married at the Lighthouse Inn in July and absolutely loved it! It was straight out of a movie. The ambiance is slightly vintage, rustic, and classic. The beach area was exactly what we were looking for and made a great background for our ceremony. Bill was so great at putting everything together for us. They were so accommodating and made it all come together with ease. The reception dinner was excellent. Our guests had a wonderful time and continue to compliment us on how great everything was. I can't say enough great things about the Lighthouse Inn.

So many good things, I don't know where to start. The actual venue is amazing- its not quite modern inside but instead retains that cozy and rustic feel of the original lighthouse and surrounding building. Picture perfect views inside and out, my photographer said you literally cannot take a bad picture there. The FOOD was absolutely phenomenal. We recieved so many compliments on the food (our dinner was NE clambake). The STAFF was excellent. Bill Sherman will guide you along perfectly throughout every detail imaginable. The day of hes there, alongside you ensuring that the schedule is in place and everything is going well. The other staff was always pleasant, helpful and accommodating to any needs. The tiniest details such as without me asking them moving the fresh flowers off the cake when it was cut to decorate the cake table with were all the things I noticed that made me feel that they went the extra mile for us, and i'm sure every other couple!! If you're super lucky, you and your guests will eat dinner overlooking a sunset that can't be described by words and that pictures cant possibly do justice. We are beyond thrilled with every detail possible. Highly recommend this gem! ****FYI - for couples that mind, there is no AC in the reception area. We got hot, but being able to go outside and sit by the ocean in the breeze as part of "our area" kept the night enjoyable and tolerable after some dancing. Plus, the outside area and fireplace was So serene!

Poorly managed. After driving 5 hours to look at this venue following multiple email exchanges, the manager told us when we arrived he had already booked our date. Unacceptable and unprofessional.

The Lighthouse Inn was the most beautiful & picturesque venue we could have for our July 5th wedding. We kept it small with 64 of our closest family & friends, and worked closely with Director of Food & Beverage, Bill Sherman, who was helpful, knowledgeable, and always answered our questions quickly and found a way to make our day seamless. The food was delicious, the servers and bartenders were attentive, and we, and all of our guests, absolutely loved our time there. It was lovely to have all of our guests able to stay right on location to enjoy all of the amenities: beach, pool, restaurant, shuffleboard, etc. Each morning during our stay, they set up a large table during the breakfast buffet for our wedding guests to enjoy together. Overall, we couldn't have asked for a better day, better service, or a better venue -- we can't wait to celebrate our first anniversary back in West Dennis, and lots of our friends & family are excited to join as well!

My wife and I got engaged last spring 2018 and knew immediately that we wanted to get married in the Cape. We are both originally from the Boston area and have had most of best times there. My wife and I have been to several weddings on the cape but had never even heard of the Lighthouse Inn until we began searching for venues. We wanted a place on the water that could accommodate a 200 person wedding where friends and family could all stay on site and that wasn’t going to break the bank as we were mostly paying for the wedding ourselves. The Lighthouse Inn has all of the above. A rustic Cape Cod setting with gorgeous views of Nantucket Sound. Having our friends and family staying on site in beach front cottages was awesome. Our wedding was on a Friday and the party continued right into the next day on the beach and out in front of the cottages with coolers of beer and cornhole. We did heavy passed aps, a raw bar and food stations instead of traditional sit-down dinner. While my wife and I barely had a chance to eat (because we were crushing the dance floor), all of our guests said the food was excellent. Bill Sherman the director of food and beverage there was great. He was able to answer all of our questions and more than happy to meet with us in person several times in the year leading up to the wedding to discuss the layout and food choices. Any combination of food and drink you can think of they can accommodate. Bill and his staff really took great care of us and our guests staying on site. A Full Breakfast is included for all guests staying on the property. New England weather is impossible to predict but lucky for us all we had to deal with were 30 knot wind gusts during the cocktail hour. We weren’t able to take advantage of the awesome outside deck and patio until a little later in the night when the wind died down. If you are looking to have a wedding on the cape, then you have to check out the Light House Inn!

We got married at The Lighthouse Inn in June, and it was magical! It was so easy to host family from all over in one place. We were able to get married on the beach and hold the reception in the gorgeous, high-ceilinged reception hall that overlooked the water and the dunes. The hall had the perfect rustic, old feel we were looking for, with original old wooden beams and antique lights. Bill was so friendly and efficient, making planning a breeze! We were able to customize our decorations, and he and his staff set everything up exactly as I had pictured it. The expansive deck was perfect for cocktail hour, and they even have a fire pit down by the beach where guests can relax between dancing. As for the food - it was DELICIOUS! Our guests still talk about the Alfredo. I just asked my husband what his favorite part was, and without even reading this review he said the food! It was so fun to run back and forth between guest houses all weekend, to family and friends all gathered in the same place. The huge lawn, playground, pool, and of course, the beach, made this the perfect spot for people who travel far to relax for the weekend, and for everyone to enjoy a great time!

This location was my dream come true. The venue is true Cape Cod Charm at it's finest. my vision was a beach wedding, lobster and chowder, and this had it ALL! Bill put up with a lot of back and forth via email and phone from me, because I live in Texas (but am from the Cape). He was always timely in his replies and you can really tell he knows what he's doing, and knew all the questions to get the planning right. My mom did the flowers so we had some delivered to the Inn and my family put up our arbor for the ceremony. My dessert table was not traditional, with many pieces, and they got it right! I was able to give Bill diagrams and discuss my visions to ensure they were carried out. We were running late because our hair and make up artists took too long, but Bill was calm and collected which really helped. He allowed us to delay things so that we could still fit everything in, with me knowing we still had a hard deadline because there was another wedding after ours. The beach ceremony was perfect. The food was amazing, and people are still talking about it. We had the lobster bake and it was more than enough food, it was delicious and on pointe! the staff was amazing and super helpful. I wish we had had maybe about an hour more for the event, but everything flowed smoothly and we had an after party at the Cleat & Anchor down the road (We called ahead to let them know), so we could continue our celebration!

I don't even know where to begin this review, but our experience with the Lighthouse Inn was phenomenal. While it didn't feel like a destination to us, because the Cape is truly our home, planning a wedding in Massachusetts while you're in grad school in New Jersey is no small feat. But Bill and the whole team at the Lighthouse really made things so much easier for us. We wanted this wedding to be a celebration of us and the friends and family who support us. It was not cookie cutter or like something you had seen before, and Bill was so flexible with all our DIY projects. We did the flowers ourselves and assembled them on site. We did all the decor ourselves, but I was able to hand him a map and the team set it up *exactly* how I envisioned it. When last minute changes to the guest list popped up, he was calm, cool, and collected. Our family and friends, literally from all over the country, felt so welcomed and at home. The staff was incredible. Also--get yourself into room 6 for your wedding if you can! It's huge, a great place to get ready. And the balcony is so freaking pretty. Everything was easy, lovely. It was our dream wedding. And then there's the food! OMG it was so good. People are still talking about that lobster bake. I couldn't finish my plate. People took home "doggie bags" to eat back in their rooms. So delicious and precisely the experience we wanted our guests to have. You simply cannot beat the price for the location, the meal options, and the quality of service. I am thrilled with our choice.

The Lighthouse Inn was the perfect venue for our small, intimate wedding. We were the last event of the season, as they closed the next day. Bill, the coordinator, was HUGELY helpful and patient with us as we made slow decisions and asked way too many questions. They accommodated all of our needs, including letting people stay for just one night, when they typically have a 2 night minimum (since it was the last night they were open). We also had some food allergies that they graciously worked around without complaint. They set up the centerpieces and other decorations exactly as we requested, and everything was beautiful. It was truly a magical night! Thanks so much to all the staff!

Amazing doesn’t even begin to describe the experience we had at our wedding at The Lighthouse Inn. It was truly a wonderful day. It far exceeded our expectations for our plans of having a beach wedding, and it could not have been more perfect! Bill was fantastic and made sure everything went smoothly the entire day. His presence was great and anything we needed he made sure we had it. The food was outstanding, by far the best food I’ve ever had at a wedding venue. The guests are still raving about it a week later! We loved the Lighthouse Inn and everything about it! It’s rustic Cape Cod and it is beautiful. The staff are very friendly and helpful as well!

Beautiful, scenic venue right on the ocean. Great service from the event manager to the clean up crew. All helpful and quick to resolve any requests. I would not hesitate to return.

We absolutely loved the Lighthouse Inn for our wedding - and so did our guests! We had a large wedding with a ton of out-of-town guests, so we wanted some place where everyone could stay together while also feeling like they were getting a little vacation. People ended up staying multiple nights and loving the location; kids especially loved it and want to go back every year. Not only was the setting great but I heard nothing but positive feedback about the staff and how well they handled our large group. As the bride, I didn't notice any of it -- which actually is a good thing! Bill is great, super flexible, and I felt like I didn't need to worry about anything. If I could do it again, I would still pick the Lighthouse Inn.

Over Labor Day weekend in 2018 I held my wedding reception at Lighthouse Inn for just friends. I have been going to this venue for years just to sit by the beautiful waterfront and felt it was a natural place to have a fun post-wedding celebration. We had a smaller event for under 40 people and chose the lobster bake option and passed hors-d'oeuvres. Bill Sherman was wonderfully helpful and very attentive, not only throughout the actual event but also from the start of the planning process. We had quite a few d
