The Lit

The Lit is an amazing place to get married. Our big day in May 2024 was beautiful and stress free due to the beautiful venue and the amazing staff. Right after we booked we were connected with Quincy and she was a lifesaver. She was constantly keeping me updated and on track which I am very greatful for when dealing with such a big event. She would typically respond within the same day and never hesitated to provide detailed answers for all my questions (and there were a lot lol). The day of we had Andrea as our coordinator with the help of Zach. I didn’t have to handle a single thing the day off and everything was decorated PERFECTLY. She even brought us a day off emergency tackle box just in case we needed anything. Oh and the drinks were DELICIOUS. I highly recommend getting the Piñaranja as one of your signature drinks. Our guests raved about the venue and how beautiful and unique it was compared to other weddings they had been to. I could go on forever, but my husband and I both agreed that we would get married at the Lit over and over if we could. Thank you Lit Staff!!

My daughter and son in law had their wedding here. Very elegant, very cozy venue. We had 140 guests, and felt like we were at-capacity for our plated dinner. Our wedding coordinator was very responsive and helpful. She troubleshooted with us, but there were no glitches on the day-of. We didn't have a DJ, and we weren't a fan of their in house speakers, but they rectified it by bringing better speakers for us. Overall, we loved our wedding here. There is no parking at the venue! There is street parking.

We got married in Oct. 2023 at the LIT, and could not have had a better experience! The venue is stunning and got just as many compliments as we did. The BEST part was the staff, we cannot recommend them or this venue more highly. The staff were knowledgeable, helpful, and flexible. They helped bring our wedding vision to life and accommodated our requests. They were kind, respectful, and so much fun! If you're looking for a vintage, bright venue with management that is great at communication, book your event at the LIT!

I cannot recommend this venue and suggest other couples quickly look elsewhere for their big day. Leading up to the event, we had high hopes and things were mostly smooth. We worked with Samantha who was a pleasure and easy to communicate with-she made us feel confident the wedding reception would be a success. The venue is pretty and they did a nice job on the remodel, but the looks of the venue and working with Sam are the only reason I didn’t rate less than 2 stars. The day of our wedding reception was a mess. When we arrived for hair that afternoon hours before the reception start, there were beanbags meant for another event in the space. The Lit’s coordinator had no idea what was going on, she referred to the wrong floor plan, made 100 excuses for things going wrong including “I don’t usually work at this venue”, but she spent more time complaining than problem solving. As the bride, this didn’t instill a lot of confidence and she was very rude. We spent time with Samantha a month prior figuring out the lighting timeline for the event, however the coordinator on the day didn’t know how to work the lights properly. At the end of a 5 hour reception, our band was still playing on a dark stage (the stage, sound & light capabilities were a big sell to us..huge disappointment). We just received our wedding photos and there are pictures of the venue coordinator sitting on our lounge furniture in the main room on her phone during our reception with guests present. On multiple occasions she complained to me, the bride, about having to work this shift. During clean up, we overheard the Lit coordinator complaining to another vendor that the owner, Robert, was supposed to come help her that night with the problems that were arising, but she stated that instead he decided to throw a party at his house. We paid a lot of money to have our wedding reception here and were very disappointed with the execution and lack of professionalism by the venue’s coordinator and more so, the venue owner Robert.
