Seriously, stop what you are doing and hire Alexis and Kayla from The Little Things. There is no one better.
I cannot imagine our wedding day or the entire planning process witho...
ut them. In summary, they are consummate professionals who are excellent at what they do, but they do it with such love and care it is truly a pleasure to get to know and spend time with them. But there is so much to say!!
First off, they have amazing experience and know what to watch out for, what vendors are worth it, how to prioritize your budget and so many other things we would have had no clue about. We never worried during the planning process because we knew Alexis and Kayla would help us through any decision. They have killer instincts as well, and just know what works and what doesn't. Every vendor they recommended was 10/10 and we trusted them so much whenever we were unsure, we'd default to what they thought - we even used the band Alexis used at her own wedding!
Next, they have incredible style. I had a vague sense of what I wanted my wedding to look and feel like, but Alexis and Kayla truly brought it to life in a way that was so far beyond my wildest dreams. They provided us with options that would fit, so we knew we would never be too far off base style -wise. Our wedding would not have been as beautiful or cohesive without them. Design isn't something I originally thought a lot about, but it manifested in setting the mood for our perfect wedding day, and I ended up loving the process and our final look. They engage heavily in the design process while still giving lots of freedom to their couples.
In addition, they had the best attitude and demeanor, both throughout the wedding planning process as well as on the wedding day. Each of our family and friends commented on how lovely of a presence they were on wedding day, which we already knew from the planning process, but it was so nice to hear from truly everyone. They strike the perfect balance of guidance while also being completely open to new ideas and our preferences. Plus they are both so kind and just great people. They care so much about their couples and it comes across in every aspect.
In addition, their execution and project management skills are second to none. They would remember each thing we covered during a meeting and follow up on it. The wedding day itself ran exceptionally smoothly and they were there, carefully ushering each piece into place and ensuring everything was perfect. There were so many little details they took care of without us even noticing at the time (like placing the bars for cocktail hour in a different space to allow for better crowd flow) - this allowed us to be so present on our actual wedding day, knowing we were in the best hands!
Finally, we cared a lot about what our wedding would feel like, and that is the language they speak as well. From each stage of selecting vendors, to the design plan, to choosing detail décor to selecting songs, to setting the order of events, they made sure our core values were being upheld and were always in service of that ultimate goal.
I am not sure if I am doing an adequate job of conveying how truly amazing Alexis and Kayla are. They are the best best in the business. I almost don't want to tell anyone how amazing they are so I can refer them to my own friends and family, but of course I won't because they deserve all the success and praise in the world!! There were so many time when my (now) husband and I would turn to look at each other throughout the wedding planning process and said "thank God for Alexis and Kayla."
I cannot say enough amazing things about these two and the only thing I will miss about wedding planning is the chance to hang out and collaborate with Alexis and Kayla. Even writing this is making me miss them!

eautiful detail but don’t have the time to chase every email or treat your wedding like a second job, it’s time you meet with TLT. If you have a bunch of ideas in your mind of who you and your partner are, and how you want to present yourselves as a couple, and want a planner who can understand you better than you understand yourself, it’s time you meet with TLT.
If you want to enjoy the process of planning your wedding as much as your wedding itself, run, don’t walk, to TLT.
Alexis & Kayla were by far the most important and most valuable decision we made for our wedding. After following TLT on IG for some time, I knew I liked their high-end, laidback vibe, and from our first conversation we were bowled over by how those traits translated to the people behind the scenes. From early days with thoughtful questionnaires into every aspect of our identity, Alexis and Kayla began the journey of getting to know us better than we knew ourselves, and helped us establish a mood, a design aesthetic, and a way of working together that made the year of planning our wedding a true joy.
What you can expect from working with TLT: monthly meetings where you will laugh until you cry, a meticulously organized online checklist of to-dos with assigned owners and gentle and timely reminders, to be presented with teams of vendors who match your vibe and price point (you can always suggest your own vendors and TLT will vet them too), never having to send a single email to a vendor (!!!!), a sense of comfort knowing that everything is IS THE BAG, and in the critical days leading up to the big day and including the big day itself - being able to be present and enjoy this once in a lifetime experience.
Alexis and Kayla helped us author our first big creative project together as a couple and will be lifelong friends. They assembled a squad of the COOLEST, most hardworking vendors we could imagine, and we will be forever grateful.
If you are on the fence about working with a planner, DO NOT HESITATE to take the leap with TLT. They are worth their weight in solid gold.
Alexis and her team flawlessly brought our "vision" to life - we came to our first meeting with a vague sense of colors and things we liked or didn't like, and she was able to put ...
together a beautiful, unique, special, and memorable event. She both made us feel part of the process but also made our lives so much easier by dealing with vendors, etc. to make the overall process less stressful. She is the perfect combination of organized and creative. She brought us so many beautiful ideas and designs to make our day feel like a fairytale, and we truly could not have had the wedding of our dreams without her. If you're considering a planner, RUN - don't walk - to The Little Things.
There is no way to describe how appreciative and thankful we are for the person who made all of our dreams come true on the best day of our lives!
Alexis is not only a dedicated,...
hard working, organized and incredibly talented designer and planner, but a trusted friend, confidant, and at some points therapist/mediator for the millions of decisions that need to be made while planning a wedding. She goes above and beyond the call of duty to lead her team with confidence and ease to flawlessly execute every last detail to perfection for each minute leading up to and on the big day.
One of the many small features that Alexis orchestrated as part of the impeccable design for our wedding, the cocktail napkins, were printed with "Best Day Ever!" and it couldn't be described any more perfectly. Thank you Alexis and TLT for giving us everything we could ever dream of and more for our wedding! We will never stop gushing over your work and recommending you to every single person who is planning a wedding, thinking about a wedding, or says the word wedding in a sentence while we are in earshot!

eping schedules or answering a million questions I wanted to enjoy my wedding day with my new husband and our families and not have a care in the world and because of Alexis that was exactly what I was able to do. Alexis created and managed timelines for vendors and the wedding party and kept everything running smoothly. Her team handled all the details so we could truly enjoy our day and I am so grateful. I highly recommend Alexis and her team!
Throughout the wedding planning process there are a lot of opinions to juggle and people to please. I have to say that without a doubt the best thing I did for myself in this crazy...
process (besides marrying my husband) was to hire Alexis as our month of planner. So much more than a month and day-of resource, Alexis was a trusted partner, sounding board, advisor, and friend from day one. From our first meeting her positivity, easygoing confidence, and humor made me feel so at ease and reassured. An extremely detail oriented bride with a very specific vision with a lot of moving pieces and long vendor list, I was looking for someone to trust with executing my wedding vision flawlessly. Alexis and her team did that and so much more. Her expertise helped us make informed vendor and timeline decisions and handle delicate family situations, and she took all of the vendor coordination and stress off my mind in the weeks leading up to the wedding. Alexis let me be as involved as I wanted to in vendor communication, and flexed impressively to accommodate my husband’s laid back style and my A-type personality. She was extremely communicative and thorough in documenting and attending to all details leading up to the big day, and was even more valuable on the day of.
Alexis and her team worked efficiently and impressively with the venue and vendors to make sure every detail was in place. When a vehicle breakdown and weather changes impacted our plans, she masterfully rearranged our timeline and made sure that the day continued to flow smoothly and positively. Alexis has a gift for organizing people towards a common vision, and from our multiple conversations, emails, photos, sketches, and lists managed to oversee our vendor team and manual day-of setup to take my breath away with the impeccable execution of our wedding ceremony and reception. Her team worked efficiently and professionally, and were nonintrusive yet covered every detail. They packed up every item at the end of the night and allowed my family, my husband, and myself to truly be in the moment and enjoy every single second of our wedding day. Working with Alexis and TLT was a true gift and I am so grateful to have had them by our sides on our big day and beyond. There is so much heart and hustle on this team and I can't wait to see the incredible things they do next!
It’s extremely difficult to put into words how grateful we are that we had Alexis plan, design, and manage our Cape Cod wedding. Honestly, how do you begin to explain how thankful ...
you are for the person who orchestrated the hands down best day of your life?
We knew when we first met with Alexis for coffee that we had to have her plan our wedding. She was outgoing and friendly, but also had a sense of calm and determination that put us at ease when we began to realize just how many moving parts there are in planning a wedding. This calming feeling was something that Alexis maintained throughout the year (+) that we spent working with her. Furthermore, she took on all of those moving parts and made our jobs easy.
Alexis has an unmatched passion for what she does. She sent us several design boards based on conversations we had and the knowledge she gained about who we are, what we like, and what we don’t like. She worked with her network to find the right vendors. This can be a seriously tough task for anyone planning a wedding on their own, and we were so lucky to have Alexis to take care of all of “the little things”
Though there were times that my wife and I felt overwhelmed by the size of the wedding, or cost, or family (let’s be honest, family drama happens to everyone when planning a wedding), Alexis was always there to help us through it. Whether it was grabbing a glass of wine with my wife, or spending hours going line by line through the budget worksheet, Alexis spared an incredible amount of time to make sure we were comfortable and all on the same page. All the while, Alexis was planning a ton of other weddings and she made us feel that ours was the only one. It’s my opinion that the number one thing you want out of a wedding planner is to feel that you are their only client, and Alexis did exactly that!
Our wedding day? Absolutely perfect. I did not have a worry in the world, and I’m a perfectionist. I had no doubt that Alexis would pull it off. The details were absolutely unbelievable. Alexis and her team worked flawlessly together to pull off an absolutely incredible event. It was EXACTLY what we wanted our wedding to be!
We were told a few weeks before our wedding that there were bound to be a few mishaps the week/day of the wedding, but that we wouldn’t even know about them because Alexis would handle them and allow us to enjoy every second with our friends and family. Let me tell you, Alexis faced any and all mishaps head on and did not let a single problem interfere with our experience of our wedding. Alexis is everything you could want in a wedding planner!
We are honored to have had Alexis as our planner/designer and couldn’t be happier to now call her a friend. We are so excited to see what the future holds for her, because it is blindingly bright!
A few final words to describe Alexis: caring, determined, dedicated, passionate, conscientious, selfless

en my husband and I got engaged - man, we were overwhelmed. I was not the kind of girl who had her dream wedding pinned, my mother is the exact opposite of the stereotypical "mother of the bride", and my husband's parents live in Colorado. We had like, no idea what to do, or what we even wanted!! We just knew we wanted it to be AWESOME. Alexis literally planned the wedding of our dreams, before we dreamed it. Throughout the whole planning process Alexis was SO calm, cool, thoughtful, and always full of the best ideas. Like, as she was putting together the final design plan, she would email us and be like, what do you think about these runners - and they were just beautiful and perfectly us. Or when I said I wanted denim napkins, she found a linen rental company who made denim napkins for us to rent for our event - and they weren't any more expensive than regular linen rentals. And then all the details. ALL OF THE DETAILS. Things that I would never think of. I remember walking into the tent to see the tables and everything and turning to my husband-to-be and being blown away by everything. Every single thing was perfection. I don't want to even imagine about planning our wedding without Alexis. Not only is she amazing, but she works with so many incredible vendors - who are all such wonderful, enthusiastic, and talented people Like a lot of people say about their wedding day - it went by so fast. SO FAST. But I know that we savored the days leading up to it and the day of as much as possible because we didn't have to think about a single detail.

things, as well as all of the big things for our wedding this October. We asked a lot of her for this one and she hit the ball out of the park on every single pitch. Her vision and execution were exactly what we had discussed and decided, and meetings, organization and timeliness we always prompt, fun and productive. From day one, we knew we were in the right hands and she delivered the wedding of our dreams. We could not recommend her enough for any event big or small to customize and come up with a personalized event for whatever vision you may have. We hope we can work with her again in the future!
When I hear (or overhear, apologies) a recently-engaged person in the Boston area, I cannot get the name of Alexis Accomando out fast enough. She single-handedly made our wedding a...
n absolute blast to plan for, and the final result was incredible. Hire Alexis if you want a wedding that is creative, thoughtful, surprising, and above all tailored to YOU as a couple -- and if you want to have some fun along the way.
The Little Things is a perfect name for Alexis Accomando's company because she thinks of EVERYTHING. This woman is so organized, she would see inaccuracies and details miles away, and would put out fires even before they were flames. Despite having other clients, she always gave us the sense that we were her #1 priority, and I'm sure her other couples would tell you the same. Her creativity knows no bounds: She is an ideas machine, and has the skills needed to follow through on every suggestion. She took every step of planning a wedding and guided us through it - she kept us on budget, on message, and focused on each other, which is what this day is all about.
While I was focused on the physical details of the wedding (the sound, the logistics, the look of the venue), Alexis was focused on something much bigger that I didn't realize until I walked into my ceremony: the experience. Alexis planned for us the most intimate, warm, friendly and loving space that simply radiated joy and energy and love. It was the most special day of my life, and there was zero stress or negativity which I owe all to Alexis.
In case you haven't gotten the jist: Get Alexis on your team, before she gets so famous and successful that she's planning Ryan Gosling's wedding. Give her the runway to do what she does best: Plan the most incredible, awesome, kick-ass day that is tailored to you as a couple. And then relax: Your wedding is in good hands.

d I were so fortunate to find Alexis as our wedding planner/designer. From the first time that we met with her, we knew that her calm presence, design sense, and project management skills would be crucial to our wedding planning process. Both of us were super busy with work and travel throughout our engagement, and having Alexis on our team completely took away anxieties about how the day would turn out. We would have felt lost without her guidance. She was very responsive to all of our input in terms of design, but had a lot of great suggestions along the way for decorations and other aspects of our wedding. Alexis was also very responsive to emails and other forms of communication during the whole process, and did a great job of keeping our planning on schedule so that we really didn't have to stress about getting things done last-minute at all. She also did a great job communicating with my mom, who was involved in the planning process. On our wedding day, we really didn't have to worry about anything except enjoying ourselves - Alexis took care of everything else!
Alexis' services are very competitively priced, and you would be crazy not to want her on your team during your wedding planning process! She went above and beyond for us, as I'm sure she does for all of her couples. She was a pleasure to work with, and we'll miss getting to see her and scheming about our wedding!
Alexis was amazing to work with..... she served as our day of coordinator and made our wedding day perfect. From the get go, I knew she was the person for the job.... she went out...
of her way to schedule an in person meeting so that we both had a chance to see if we'd work well together going forward. Once she was on board, she would answer all my email questions promptly and had great ideas to help further my vision. She provided me with an amazingly useful spreadsheet that kept me organized throughout the planning process. At every meeting she was happy, friendly and knowledgeable. She helped me hold my own against a somewhat rigid catering vendor and helped me make final decisions on the lighting and decor for the venue. On the actual day, she was an amazingly calming presence. I always knew she was there for me, but she never made herself obtrusive during the wedding. She kept things on track and made sure i didn't have to worry about anything. I was able to enjoy the entire day with my groom and family and friends. And she did all this at a very reasonable and highly competitive price point. I really can't recommend her enough. If you hire her... you won't be sorry.
