The Lodge at Breckenridge is hands-down one of the best wedding venues in town! As a photographer who's captured MANY weddings at this location, I love it for the outstanding mount...
ain views, the welcoming event staff, and flexible lodging options (which make for convenient & gorgeous getting ready shots). Whether your throwing a large formal wedding, a casual intimate elopement, or something in between... this place is a dream come true!
The lodge at Breckenridge is incredible. The staff and service is top notch! If you are looking to book your wedding here absolutely do so! Amy, Mira and Iza are amazing!
As a professional wedding planner and florist, we have the pleasure of working at the Lodge several times a year. The venue has the most beautiful views of Breckenridge and the 10 ...
Mile Range!
The staff is also professional, friendly and has a lot of experience with weddings and events both big and small. We would highly recommend this venue to couples looking to get married in Breckenridge!
We had our wedding last week and it was incredible! It actually snowed a lot that week and on our wedding date, it was the clearest day. The Lodge cleared off all the snow off the ...
balcony so we could have our ceremony outside. They were super accommodating and understanding, especially Amy and Meg from Sales. There was great communication on their part since we were from out of state. If you want a venue with gorgeous views. Pick the Lodge! Some of our guests want to go back.

utifully and our day was perfect. We also stayed at The Lodge for a couple days and everything with our stay was great. They even left us a note and champagne in our room. Amy and Meg were always responsive and super helpful. Highly recommend.
The Lodge at Breckenridge was a wonderful venue for our daughter's wedding and reception. The location provides amazing views of the slopes from the deck, and the ballroom was a pe...
rfect backdrop for the reception. Amy Fletcher was our contact from booking the venue, throughout planning, and even the day of the wedding. She was knowledgable and extremely helpful as we navigated planning such an important day from out of state. It made the process less stressful due to her responsiveness and professionalism. The Why Knot Weekday package was a great value. The service was outstanding, and the food during both the cocktail hour and reception was wonderful. We couldn't have been happier with how the day turned out!

their way to make us feel so special. Everything from our suite being set up, to the servers and bartenders at our reception. The quality of food really impressed our guests. Since this was a destination wedding, the availability of decor at The Lodge really helped make planning and set up as easy as possible. All of our requests were met with professional service. We are so grateful for this wonderful, hard working team and the gorgeous space and THE VIEWS!
The Lodge was an absolutely stunning place to have our wedding. The ceremony deck provided an immaculate rocky mountain backdrop for our wedding photos. The venue is naturally gorg...
eous and we didn’t have to use many decorations (nice cost saver!). They can host much larger groups, yet the space didn’t feel empty for a party of our size (30ish) - I think the way we set up our tables helped create an intimate feel. The convenience and flow of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception spaces all being together paired with the ability for us and guests to stay on site was a top factor in our decision. As an added bonus, not only do they allow dogs, they are extremely dog friendly which was important to us with bringing our two fur babies. 2 downfalls: they do not offer room blocks or discounts for large groups and they don’t have elevators (a complaint we had from our guests as some had to climb multiple stairs with heavy luggage at altitude that they aren’t used to). We absolutely lucked out with incredible weather - not too cold or windy and the sun even decided to make an appearance (despite snow falling the day before!). Customer service leading up to the wedding was good - poor Katie & Amy with sales had probably over 1,000 email exchanges with me! I had so many questions as I planned from out of state and never stepped foot in our venue until we arrived 2 days before our wedding. They were always prompt, friendly, professional, and specific with their answers. Food - we did a buffet style dinner and thought the food and service was great. Our sweet little bartender was SO great - I can’t remember her name though ! My husband had pretty bad altitude sickness and didn’t eat on our wedding day - the staff and our coordinator were very accommodating with putting together some to-go boxes of our food and desserts for later. 1 point off due to costs - their costs are a bit excessive IMO and were only doable for us because we had a small wedding. We did the “WhyKnot Weekday” package which waived the site fee (a substantial cost saver) but increased the per person price substantially too. Maybe that's my opinion because I did a lot of wedding research in WI before we decided to go to Colorado - let’s just say I could’ve fed 150 people in WI for roughly the price we paid for 30 people at The Lodge 😂. Evenso, I was pleased with everything that was included in the price. Overall, I’d get married here again and recommend them!
If you’re looking for a scenic mountain wedding, the lodge is perfect! Being able to get married on the huge deck overlooking the Rockies was the perfect backdrop for our special d...
ay. The convenience of the ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception spaces all being together along with the ability for guests to stay on site really sold us over. We wouldn’t have wanted it any other way. The staff were friendly and helped make our day stress free with setup, teardown, and bar and food service. The only downside is the space is slightly outdated, but that can be covered with decor. We also didn’t like that we couldn’t have a hotel block for our wedding guests and there wasn’t any sort of discount or upgrade for the bride and groom even though we had many people stay at The Lodge. We recommend event guests book rooms well in advance to make sure they have a room there if they want one. Picking a wedding venue isn’t easy and we’re ultimately glad with where we ended up. We would definitely recommend The Lodge at Breck!
I'll start by saying we booked the Lodge for the mountain-views and it 100% delivered! It was quite windy, but otherwise great weather which was a huge relief since there isn't rea...
lly a great indoor backup location. We had a destination wedding and did not get to see the venue in person until 2 months before the wedding, but it did not disappoint. The deck was the perfect size for our wedding of 70 people, but they can accommodate larger groups. Being on a deck did make it a bit difficult to get photos from multiple angles (mainly parents/guests faces during the ceremony) since there is no space beyond the altar. This wasn't a huge deal to us, but might be to other people and is something to consider. We did a buffet-style dinner and thought the food was good and service was excellent. The bartenders remembered our drinks and were sure to make sure we always had something in hand if we wanted.
Other things to consider: We found ourselves wishing they had a bridal suite to get ready/store our bridal party's belongings during the event. We originally wanted to book a room for just one night (the night of the wedding) and stay with family/friends the rest of the week leading up to the wedding, but they have a 2 night minimum for room reservations. They do have 2 separate houses to accommodate bigger groups, but we did not end up using them due to the budget. The price also went up almost $10/person from the time we booked to the time our balance was due. This was written in the contract as a possibility, but some communication would have been nice rather than being surprised when we received the final invoice. And if you want anything in addition to the very base package options, the additional fees add up quickly.
Overall it was a great day and we loved the amazing views! If you are planning to use the Lodge as your "home base" for your wedding it is great. There were some things that weren't very convenient since we stayed at other locations around Breck. We felt the coordinators were good, but not great - everything was handled and executed well, but I wouldn't say it was above and beyond.

s just fine, and all of our details were 100% perfect and expected. Not only was the planning staff great with communication and expectations, the banquet staff the day of were also so great. The service was wonderful, they were friendly and welcoming towards our guests. The bartender remembered guest drink orders, and they were very accommodating with some of our requests. We skipped the food tasting (due to travel costs and coming from out of state), which worried me a bit, but the food was delicious! And those views! You really can't go wrong with The Lodge if its in your budget!

We got married at the Lodge in June 2022 and while our day was truly wonderful and 5 stars, there was one thing throughout our process that didn't meet the 5 star experience (see b...
elow). That being said knowing what I know now i still would have booked the lodge which is why I felt comfortable rating them 5 stars. I think the lodge has the most gorgeous view if you are looking for a mountain wedding and for a guest count of about 100 it was just the right size without feeling crowded. The catering manager day-of was wonderful and while the food was not the best food i've ever had it did the trick and there were no complaints. The lamb meatballs were definitely the star- multiple guests commented so be sure to do those for appetizers. They also handled dietary restrictions and allergies very well so kudos to them. We rented some decor from them which was so great and pretty fairly priced. Overall, our day went well, and guests were in awe of the views so we would 100% pick the lodge again!
We booked super early (march 2021, married June 2022) and Katie and Kat were there at that time and were very responsive. This was our 7th venue tour and we felt that it was the one and we also thought the prices were pretty fair for a mountain wedding venue. We booked with them and started planning. Overall they were responsive to questions along the way and even let us show family around the next time we were in town.
My issues center around communication/transparency:
From the time we booked (march 2021) to the time we began to build our menu (may 2022) there was no notification that prices had increased for each plate by $10 (buffet or plated). While this is allowed for them to change prices per contract, the fact that they never mentioned this huge increase was alarming and could have been a disaster for couples who tried to ensure their venue would be in budget. With 100+ expected guests this was an extra $1,000 not to mention the service fee would increase as well. We understand Covid was a difficult time for the industry (I still think had this been the initial price we would have booked) but the lack of communication on this felt frustrating given how well they communicated otherwise.
I think a simple email notifying about this change so couples can ensure they are budgeting properly and adjust things if need be was warranted. There was a similar miscommunication about passed apps twice where we were told in person yes and then via email no. Other than this, I felt like communication was great and emails were responded to quickly and they were flexible with changes we wanted and needed.
Again, we loved getting married at the lodge and would 100% recommend to couples but I encourage the lodge to make sure they notify about price changes or changes to services/menu items.
We held our wedding ceremony and reception at The Lodge at Breckenridge on June 30, 2022 and are absolutely thrilled we did so. The views cannot be beat and the venue itself was be...
autiful as well. It was great having indoor/outdoor space. We traveled from Oregon, with our guests coming from six states. The built-in beauty allowed us to do minimal setup and decorations, it was so nice to have almost every detail included in the Why Knot Weekday package.
Everyone including the sales team, reception staff, bartender, and reception attendants were amazing–communicative, attentive, caring and just plain nice. The food and setup/layout were perfect.
The weather wasn't cooperating but the team was super helpful in providing reasonable alternatives if it rained, and were flexible to the last minute (granted we had only two dozen guests) with setup.
Can't recommend The Lodge at Breckenridge enough for your wedding!

We had so many questions and last minute changes during the planning phase and they were responsive and open to every one of them. Special thanks to Katie and Amy on the sales team! They made the process a lot less stressful and we already can't wait to come back and visit.
The Lodge absolutely exceeded all of my expectations of a venue! My husband and I wanted an intimate elopement so that we could focus on just the two of us without the hassle of a ...
“normal” sized wedding. The vibe that we went with was Rustic Glam. That is the definition of the Lodge! We got married on the deck and used the foyer for our dinner reception as it is fit our guest list better. We had a bar for our guests (parents and siblings) and the duet entree meal. The wait staff were more than accommodating. We felt right at home! I was so sad when the night was over. Our wedding was catered just to fit us. The Lodge was everything and more! Breathtaking views, amazing food, awesome staff! I would 10/10 recommend this venue to anyone looking for a gorgeous winter wonderland to marry your person!

so our guests didn’t slip, to serving food in a timely manner. They did our wedding set up, and set it up better than I had even imagined. The views off the deck are amazing, unfortunately it was snowing so our guests couldn’t experience those amazing views. The food was yummy!

re so happy to get to stay in the same place as the wedding ceremony and reception, and loved the rooms (and VIEWS). The entire wedding party stayed in the Summit and Alpine houses available for rent with the Lodge and that was a game changer. We had the makeup/hair stylist come to one of the houses, while the groom and groomsmen got ready in the other house, and then when it was time we were able to walk to the main lodge for the ceremony! The view from the deck is one in a million, pictures don't do it justice. And the food at the reception was amazing, multiple guests said it was the best wedding food they've ever had! Could go on forever, and would HIGHLY recommend this venue for your wedding!

Wow! Where do I start...my husband and I got married at The Lodge in Breckenridge, CO (during the pandemic). Yes, we were required to cut our guest count 2 weeks before the event, ...
however we realize this was completely out of The Lodge's control. My husband is from Colorado and I am from Kansas City (we both currently reside in KC), and being long distance while planning a wedding can be more stressful (oh yeah, and add a pandemic to the mix why don't ya?). The Lodge had every question covered and if by chance they didn't know the answer to a question (which happened once MAYBE twice) they quickly got the answer for me. I have celiac disease AND it was important for us to have our corgi apart of the wedding. The Lodge accommodated both of those for us. We rented both cabins and a nearby VRBO (as well as had a couple guests in hotel rooms at The Lodge) which I would recommend taking advantage if you have a wedding with them. Their views are spectacular (DUH. There are also awesome nearby trails) and even though we had to cut our guest count by 100 people Kat was absolutely amazing to work with during the less than ideal process. Our families and small amount of friends can't stop raving about their weekend in Breck staying at The Lodge. The vendors we used at our event were also absolutely amazing: Kelsey Booth (Photo), Orange Soda Films (Video), Petal & Bean (florals), The Cake Maker (cake, cupcakes and rice crispy treats), Greatime DJ (Bob Bridges for ceremony and reception DJ), and the Alpine Spa & Salon (make-up/bridal hair).

oked what is called an "elopement package", due to the size of our group and the time we needed the deck for. This got us the deck for 2 hours, with chair set up included. When we arrived to begin our photos at our assigned time (10 a.m.), we noticed the deck still had an archway and tons of wood pillars laying around. We took our couple photos, assuming they would get this taken care of because they knew we had the deck booked and had no decorations for our ceremony. Unfortunately, when we came back at 10:30 a.m. to begin family photos, everything was still there. I had to go to the front desk and ask them to remove the items on the deck that were not ours and to set up our chairs. They apologized, but it did not feel sincere; I felt like I was bugging them to do their job/provide customer service. It took them 10 minutes to get everything removed and the chairs set up, which cut it very close, as our ceremony was set for 11 a.m. and guests were already arriving.
All in all, the deck is why I'm giving them 3 stars. The view is absolutely breathtaking and looks unreal. It was a lovely backdrop for our day. I cannot comment on the rooms, as we did not stay in the hotel during our trip, we booked a vacation rental instead.

uite we got for the rest of the week after our wedding was great! Tons of room, warm fire place, comfy, Cozy, cabin feel getaway! We couldn’t have asked for a better experience with the Lodge! Thank you so much for making it so easy to plan a wedding and so stress free! We couldn’t have imaged a better day!!
Everything about this place is absolutely wonderful and gorgeous!

fferent state is even more stressful. These ladies though, made everything extremely easy and made sure that any stresses I was having that involved them, was taken care of immediately. The communication timing was super fast and there was never an unanswered question! I first started working with Jenny, and as she transitioned out, Kat and Lindey took over with ease. Their professionalism and kindness helped us feel way more at ease about everything involving our wedding.
Even after having some issues on our end, Lindey personally called and came up with a plan on the spot! I was panicking about it and after that phone call, it felt like a weight had been lifted off of my shoulders.
Upon arrival to The Lodge, we were greeted with smiles all around. We stayed in the Sunlight Peak Suite, oh my gosh was it awesome! It was perfect since all our bridesmaids were getting ready in our room. It was spacious and obviously had gorgeous views! We even had everyone from the wedding come over after the reception and spend time with us in the room!
The staff were all super nice and always had a smile on their face. From the staff laying out the tables and chairs to the bartender and day-of coordinators, they took care of us and our guests like royalty. Even with all the last minute changes we made on the day-of, everyone worked together and made our requested changes without hesitation.
If I could do my wedding all over again, there is no doubt I would have it at The Lodge at Breckenridge again! From the amazing, gorgeous views we had during our ceremony on the balcony to the well catered reception, this was the best choice and definitely worth it all.

day flow smoothly and the location, near hiking trails and near downtown Breck, provided an awesome experience for the weekend for our out of town guests! We hired Natalie Casey as our wedding coordinator and she was AMAZING. She was so helpful with details leading up to the wedding and she did a beautiful job setting up all the decor and tables and what not. I can honestly say a HUGE part of our wedding going so great was due to her. We highly recommend The Lodge and Natalie! We also LOVE how dog friendly the place is!
The Lodge at Breckenridge was the perfect wedding venue!

Natalie from The Lodge is an awesome add on as a day of coordinator- she took care of everything and made us feel at ease! The food was also delicious and they had multiple options so you'll definitely find the perfect menu!
And lastly, THE VIEWS! It is the perfect wedding venue if you want those picturesque mountain views! Our families absolutely loved it- we heard so many comments about how beautiful it is. We had literally the perfect wedding day thanks to The Lodge at Breckenridge!

ly taken care of by the staff at The Lodge. We also stayed at their two private houses with our bridal party for three days and it was WONDERFUL! We had a welcome drinks party outside the houses with lawn games and the staff at The Lodge was more than happy to help accommodate with a bartender and table/chair set up. The wedding itself was an absolute dream. We hired Natalie as our wedding coordinator and she did a phenomenal job throughout the day to make sure everything was stress free and we were well taken care of. Not to mention the AMAZING deck. Views all day and all night. 10 out of 10 wish I could repeat my wedding over and over again here every weekend :)

OH MY GOD. If you’re looking for the perfect mountain wedding, book with The Lodge! You will not be disappointed! We did a lot of research before booking this venue: we wanted a ho...
tel where our guests could stay - this eliminated the need for a shuttle for the wedding party. We also wanted a place that had its own catering to simplify things. The Lodge was perfect. From working with Jenny, the event coordinator, to the friendly faces at the front desk - they fulfilled our every request and need. The food was amazing (we did chicken and steak buffet), drinks were reasonably priced ($35 per person for beer and wine for 5 hours), and the views were SPECTACULAR! Our pictures are unreal. I rented the house on the property that sleeps 12 and got ready there with my bridesmaids on the day of. We also had our rehearsal dinner there the night before. Just loved having everything in one place. Book this venue - you will not regret it!

or the view but we had no idea how amazing the staff would be. Natalie Casey was PHENOMENAL as our wedding coordinator. My (now husband!) and I are very laid back people and deferred to Natalie's judgment for a lot of things. She made the rehearsal and the wedding day run incredibly smoothly and the reception space - decorations, florals, dessert table, mantel etc - all looked absolutely beautiful. She put our families at ease and helped everyone know where to go and when. The hotel staff was friendly and helpful for our guests as well. Everyone loved the rustic charm of the Lodge and could not stop talking about the view. Our entire weekend was absolutely perfect, we could not have had a better experience!
We had an amazing experience with The Lodge! It was one of the first venues I found that I really liked, but I thought it would be out of our price range. Luckily they have a few s...
pecials depending on time of year and day of the week that made it fit our budget perfectly, and we had our beautiful wedding there last month. I am so glad I picked this venue and I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a mountain wedding!
Communication - We met with Jenny to visit the venue last year and she was very welcoming and explained the many things we didn't know about weddings! Right after our meeting she emailed us an information packet and a cost estimate. Jenny and Natalie were great about getting back to us quickly when we had questions or concerns.
Food - we got to try 2 entrees and 2 appetizers for our food tasting and everything was delicious! We chose the steak and the vegetarian ravioli for our main dishes and our guests loved both. The side dish potatoes were also very good!
Day-Of-Coordinator - we hired Natalie from the Lodge as our DOC and I don't know what we would have done without her. I knew nothing about weddings when I started and she answered all my questions and helped me plan the day down to the last detail. On the day before and day-of, she organized our wedding party and family members, and set up all of our decorations so beautifully. We didn't feel a tiny bit of stress because we knew Natalie was taking care of everything!
Hotel - We stayed in a room at the Lodge as did a lot of our guests. The hotel is dog-friendly and some of our friends brought their dogs. The rooms were very nice with comfortable beds and big showers. And you can't beat the view! The location is also nice because there are a lot of AirBNB's nearby which is where some of our guests chose to stay.

We had the elk, pork tenderloin, and butternut squash ravioli served at our wedding and all were great (I personally tried both the elk and pork which were delicious and our guests affirmed the butternut squash ravioli was tasty). Beyond the food and service, the venue itself is breathtaking. Such a magical place for a wedding. It was a brisk 35 degrees before and during our ceremony but the sun beamed down making it surprisingly comfortable for us and our guests during a cold November. Overall, we wouldn’t have done anything differently. We had high hopes for this venue and it exceeded our expectations.
The Lodge was the perfect place for our wedding. We live in MN and love the mountains so we knew somewhere in the mountains in CO was where we wanted to have our wedding. We visite...
d several venues but the moment we toured the lodge, we knew this was it. The skyview deck had the perfect view for our guests and for the backdrop in our photos.
All of our guests said they totally understood why we insisted on dragging them all the way out there as soon as they saw the amazing views Breckenridge, and the lodge itself had to offer.
It was a little bit of a struggle to get started with the down payment and some of the other details, which worried us a little - BUT when they began offering the wedding coordinator service from Natalie, and we decided to add her services, everything turned around. Natalie was fantastic to work with from day 1. When there was a small hiccup, she helped us set up our tasting (which we flew out there specifically to do), she helped us with the timeline, she coordinated with the kitchen to provide a special request from the groom, she helped our officiant (my husband's brother, who got ordained just for our wedding) with some of the little things to say or do to help direct our guests to stand sit or turn off their phones, among so many other things, Natalie was fantastic to work with, and the Lodge is a fantastic venue with delicious food.

ntains from the deck are incredible and breathtaking. Jenny was a SAINT, dealing with all of my stress and never-ending questions. We couldn’t have imagined a more perfect day!!!

ay. We had the most perfect wedding and the lodge will always hold a very special place in our hearts!! Jenny was our contact and she was incredibly sweet & flexible and patient as I asked her about a billion questions back and forth. The staff for the actual wedding were exceptional! Absolutely amazing place. Amazing venue. We can’t wait to visit again soon!!!
Beautiful lodge
We just got married at the Lodge on 12/2/17 and I could not have asked for a better venue or staff! They were so helpful and accommodating on all of our needs and requests, and we ...
truly had the most amazing experience. We have no negative things to say about the Lodge at all! The views at the ceremony are phenomenal, and make for the most amazing pictures. We had a destination wedding from Florida- so every guest was in awe at the views and the lodge. I heard nothing but positive things, and everyone loved it. The food was amazing- we had the Elk Medallions as one of the entrees, and they were delicious!
Thank you so much Jenny and the rest of the team for making our day truly special and amazing. You guys are all great and we appreciate everything you have done!!!!
We fell in love with The Lodge when we were looking at wedding venues and were so happy with it overall. The view from the deck is absolutely gorgeous, the reception hall was the p...
erfect size for our group of around 75, and the new dance floor was perfect for us. Our experience during the initial tour and process of creating the contract was very positive and the manager we worked with was very responsive and accommodating. Later communications after a few changes in staff were a bit less than ideal; they seemed quite disorganized and were sometimes quick to respond but others we received no reply. The process of obtaining and paying the bill was quite difficult and I had to ask for the final total multiple times. When we did pay the bill there was a mistake and when they attempted to correct this they charged us twice, and there was a hold on my account for several weeks before we were able to get things sorted out. However, Jenny was very easy to work with and took extra time to help us get this cleared up.
Most of our guests traveled from out of town and we found that the hotel staff were incredible welcoming and helpful throughout our stay! They helped us carry in all of our bags and wedding decorations from the car when we arrived. Anytime we needed anything the front desk staff were incredible. The shuttle service offered on weekends was very quick.
The afternoon prior to the wedding we were able to set up some decorations while the staff was arranging tables and chairs, which we greatly appreciated. On the big day the wait staff ensured things ran smoothly and set aside a plate of food for us for later. The food was amazing! They did pressure several members of our party to purchase additional alcohol from the bar for guests, which I thought was a bit rude as we had purchased the desired amount of beer/wine and had requested that they switch over to a cash bar once these items were consumed. We also felt a bit rushed when they prematurely poured the champagne for the toasts, however they responded well when we asked that they wait to distribute the glasses. Later in the night they were very accommodating of our requests and were even able to find us an office chair to use to dance, as I was unable to walk. Despite multiple small issues along the way, we would still highly recommend The Lodge and could not have imagined a more perfect wedding day!
The Lode provided the perfect location for our wedding in August! Jenny and the staff were incredibly helpful throughout the entire process and helped all of my ideas and dreams co...
me to life! The views are amazing and all of the guests raved about how great the service, location, views and lodging were. We booked the 2 houses for our Bridal party and it worked out perfectly as a place that we could hang out after the rehearsal dinner, getting ready for the wedding, having a day after barbecue, etc. The honeymoon suite is free for the night of the wedding and they even brought a full meal for my husband and I to have after the wedding. They kept the bar in the traverse open late after we had to leave the reception area for all of our guests to continue celebrating!
