The culinary experience that the Lodge provided was equally as memorable as Lindsay's thoughtful coordination. We appreciated how effortless it was to fulfill the dietary needs of our guests. Everything was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious. It truly elevated the entire experience. Our wedding day was everything we dreamed of and more, and we owe so much of that to The Lodge and their dedicated staff. From start to finish, they created an atmosphere of joy, ease, and genuine care that we—and our guests—will never forget. Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the cocktail hour choices and thier meal, and the compliments kept coming for weeks! A special shout-out to Lindsey, our coordinator, who made everything seamless. Her expertise, care, and organizational skills were unmatched. For months, she diligently answered our countless emails and calls, always with a warm and professional demeanor. On the wedding day, she was an absolute lifesaver—arriving early to ensure everything was set for the bridal party and managing every detail with grace. Lindsey coordinated with all our vendors and kept everything running smoothly, allowing us to enjoy every moment.Lindsey truly allowed us to be the guest of honor at our wedding, rather than a host. The entire staff was fantastic—kind, energetic, and incredibly accommodating. Many of our guests stayed in the on-site cabins and had a fantastic weekend, which added to the overall enjoyment of our celebration. For any couples searching for a wedding venue, this lodge is truly a gem. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect setting or a better team to help make our day so special!

tine shape. We are from NJ, so the price to have a wedding here with what was included was amazing. The reason for 3/5 stars (wish I could give 3.5) is that there were a few incidents that occurred that we felt could have been minimized or avoided. The first that occurred during the planning was that the venue required the couple getting married (let's be honest, the bride) to find vendors who all had liability insurance. I get why that is a requirement, but the bride should not be the one responsible for going to the vendors for that. I experienced an awkward situation with the hair/makeup people I wanted to work with because when I asked them for insurance, the makeup person refused to show me and the hairstylist didn't have it and refused to get insurance. I had to let the hairstylist go and lost my initial deposit. Eventually, I had to ask our wedding coordinator to help us straighten it out. That salon was on the venue's list of preferred vendors, which did not make sense to us as to why there was a misunderstanding and feud brewing. I felt that I was caught in the middle with no idea what was going on. It was eventually fixed after I sent an email and my MIL called the venue and talked further with our coordinator. Another situation that occurred was with the in-house baker. The venue's food/drink packages are designed for a minimum of 125 guests (really convenient), but what they did not tell us was that the included two-tier cake only served about 70 people. We knew that we were going to customize our cake, but did not realize that in order to get close to 100 guests, we would need to add 4 tiers to that cake (don't think that's possible). By the time we realized this, it was about a week before the wedding. We thought that it would be easier to work with this baker because they were in-house, but their communication and professionalism were horrible. We would go 2-3 weeks without a response back to questions that we had which were normal questions to bakers from couples planning a wedding. Another situation that occurred happened between my wedding coordinator and the DJ. When we were trying to finalize our reception schedule, we referred more to the DJ and tried to keep our wedding coordinator in the loop being that we were about a week away from the big day. Instead of referring to the DJ, our wedding coordinator contacted us with concerns and suggestions to change the reception schedule about two days before the big day. Some of their concerns made sense and we were appreciative of their input, but others did not make sense with how modern weddings run. The DJ was blindsided and this caused another awkward situation. The last that occurred was on the wedding day. I was not initially made aware (for obvious reasons), but at the ceremony area, there was an invasion of Japanese beetles all over the guests' chairs. Several members of my wedding party spoke with the wedding coordinator and were told there was nothing that could be done to get rid of them. My two BILs ran out to Home Depot, purchased a bug fogger, and fogged the ceremony area a few hours before showtime. They were not reimbursed for that. Overall, it was a beautiful wedding and venue, but just watch out for vendor insurance issues and try to get an outside baker.
