She was always quick to respond to emails, provided constant reassurance, and made me feel confident that everything would come together smoothly. On the day of the wedding, she ensured every detail was perfect and even had a thoughtful backup plan prepared in case of rain. Her professionalism and attention to detail gave me complete peace of mind. Our guest count was 60, which made for an intimate and personalized experience. Beth worked seamlessly with all of my vendors, and I was so pleased with how smoothly everything ran. The food was delicious, the portions were perfect, and our guests raved about it. We also stayed overnight in one of the lodges, which added to the charm of the entire experience. I couldn’t be happier with how everything turned out and would highly recommend The Lodges at Gettysburg to anyone looking for an all-inclusive venue that is both beautiful and truly personalized. Beth and her team made my wedding day an unforgettable experience.

If we could change one thing, it would be the cake-cutting setup, which was off to the side and made it hard for guests to see that special moment. it felt like a dream. The ceremony location was stunning, with breathtaking views, and the reception space was just as gorgeous, with elegant decor and perfect lighting. What made it even better was the lodging on-site. Having our closest family and friends stay at the venue made the weekend feel so much more intimate and relaxed. The accommodations were spacious, comfortable, and beautifully designed. It was so convenient for everyone to be able to stay on the property and not worry about transportation. The staff at The Lodges went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and we truly felt like royalty. It was such a magical experience to celebrate our wedding, have our loved ones close, and enjoy a stress-free weekend together. We’ll cherish this special place forever!

In particular, Lisa ,was excellent at anticipating the needs of the bridal party,as well as friends, family,and wedding guests. The meal prepared by the staff was commented on numerous times by the guest,(the best wedding food they've had.) Every staff member went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect for such a special day. Would highly recommend

me to PA. We had to essentially plan our wedding all over again. With losing our deposits, We were looking for a beautiful, but affordable venue and were thinking we would have to settle. We scheduled a meeting with Beth and were blown away. Not only was this a gorgeous venue for an unbeatable price, but the hospitality that Beth showed us will always stay with me. We told her our story and she went above and beyond to ensure we did not have to settle. The staff as a whole was a highlight for my out of town guests. I lost count of how many times one of the staff went out of their way to show some extra kindness. I did not encounter a single employee that was anything less than first-class. Our day-of coordinator, Lisa, managed all of the tiny details so we didn't have to worry about a thing. She checked in frequently and even helped to calm my pre-ceremony jitters. The food was absolutely amazing!! Every single thing we tried was phenomenal. And the staff was sweet enough to set aside a plate of food, our cupcakes and some champagne in our wedding night lodge. I could continue to point out all of the little things that left a big impression but I will wrap this up by saying that we have no doubt that our wedding was as amazing as it was due to Beth, Lisa, and the staff at the Lodges. I highly recommend them to anyone who wants a stunning venue for a great price!!

ng the wedding so easy on us and was very clear and upfront about everything we needed to expect the day of. Thankfully we had a rain plan in place because it rained the day of but even the rain couldn't put a damper on our day! The staff were so helpful in cleaning up the few decorations we did have and putting them all together for us to collect the next day. The food was delicious and being able to walk to our cabins after the party was such a nice addition and one less thing to worry about. Our guests thought that aspect was perfect as well. The cabins are very nice and include even more amenities than what you would get in a standard hotel room. It truly was just a wonderful experience for everyone and I would HIGHLY recommend this venue to anyone looking! The venue also left a little jar of water in our complimentary room on the wedding night with a little note explaining that it was rain water collected that we could then use to water a new tree or bless our kids with or whatever we wanted, which to me was just the sweetest, most thoughtful thing and above and beyond anything we could have expected! So so so glad we had our wedding here!

enue, the food, and the staff. Our cousin from Florida said she did not run into one rude person in the 3 days she was there. She said every staff person she encountered was so nice and friendly. That really says a lot! The food was phenomenal. Unfortunately the clouds came rolling in right at the time of our ceremony, but we were so Impressed by how quickly, literally within 15 minutes, Beth and team had transitioned from the outdoor setting to an indoor chapel, and everything was beautiful!! All worked out great, and it is a day that we will always remember. We can’t recommend the lodges enough!!

en though we were rained in for our ceremony. They were so flexible working with us and our budget. The wedding coordinators were very experienced and made everything flow smoothly. I am so thankful to have found this venue!

wish to focus on a single negative aspect of the day because the positives far outweigh their importance; however as a bride, there are a few of the things I would have like to have known before booking with the lodges.  Be prepared for many upcharges, and when Beth says "gratuity will be included" she means 20% on your package, plus 20% on your bar tab, and they will still put out a tip jar, even after they were requested not to for being tipped prior to services rendered.  We asked Beth if there was any need for "wedding insurance" she laughed it off and told me that was a silly question. Yet, the power happened to go out during our reception for about 10 minutes, and there was no generator or backup plan.  A few very sentimental items were lost and thrown away by staff that day. Just LABEL everything and keep close tabs. My veil was mistaken for tulle by a staff member and thrown away, along with the serving utensils for our cake cutting and a few others.  When my mom noticed a family heirloom missing off the table during clean up, a few family members began searching high and low. Only to be met with resistance from the day of coordinator, who responded in a very unprofessional manner to one of my cousins, using the "F word" in response to them looking through the garbages, themselves, in the kitchen. I still have no words for level of unprofessionalism she demonstrated.  I was highly disappointed in this, especially considering they regard themselves so highly in professionalism, that they are willing to serve themselves a 20% gratuity, before services are rendered, instead of trusting that their skills are worth the tip in the end, at the discretion of the one footing the bill. We would have liked to have heard back from Beth and asked how our event was and an opportunity to give her this feedback, but we've heard nothing from her, other than answering an email of a question I asked.  Considering they view every minute as a dollar sign, we thought they may have offered some compensation for the minutes and the items we lost: power going out, the staff disposing of items (veil alone being $350) the bar service also ending earlier than promised, all in all, probably $1500 in lost value.  If you go into this "financial relationship" with them, just go in knowing you are simply a client, you are a dollar sign to them, and I don't think you will be disappointed. For a $30,000 invoice, I had very high expectations of professional service that should have EXCEEDED my expectations from beginning to end.  This is not to say our wedding was not excellent, but as someone who works in the guest service industry, and two families that run bars and restaurants, we found them to fall short in a few areas and have be provided this same feedback to them, so they can make appropriate adjustments if they desire, however The Lodges has refused to respond, even after generously waiting 2 months for a response.

update and every next step. She was patent with me when I didn't have myself together and made an exception to a minor issue we had no questions asked. Matia was ON TOP OF IT the ENTIRE time we were there from the rehearsal to the very last song. She made sure we had drinks and anything we could have needed. Everything stayed perfectly to schedule because of her. The venue was absolutely gorgeous. They let us set up the day before so we didn't have to do it day of and scramble. The food was DELICIOUS and the drinks were top tier. I seriously could not have asked for a better day. If I had to go back and do it all over again I would pick The Lodges every time.

All of our guest to our wedding said our wedding was the best one they have been to, & we couldn’t have done that with such an amazing team at that lodges!!!

Everyone went out of their way to make our "rained-out" wedding into the best day ever! -The outdoor location is beautiful scenery! -The inside venue is beautiful with charm! -The food and service catering was great! We found this place because we wanted all out guests to stay on property and enjoy a great weekend, The Lodges at Gettysburg exceeded all expectations and some! It will forever hold a special place in our hearts!

We had our wedding inside due to rain and it was more than perfect, the team at the Lodges worked with us to make a rain plan that truly encompassed the vision for our day. Not only is The Lodges beautiful, but every single person we worked with on the day was extremely kind and sincerely felt like we had known them for years. It was obvious that the employees at The Lodges were invested your wedding day and wanted it to be as special as you wanted it to be. Beth, was incredible during the entire planning process and really helped us put the whole day together and work out all the kinks. Lisa, our day of coordinator, checked in on me throughout the day, was present throughout the whole ceremony and reception and really helped my husband and I relax and enjoy our day. I can only say great things about the Lodges, and words cannot describe how happy we are that we chose the Lodges to get married at. I also just need to say, that our guests have told my husband and I that this was the best wedding food they've ever had! Our wedding was more than we could have imagined because we chose the Lodges at Gettysburg!

l. Ever since one made us feel like family visiting. We hosted our wedding there, having lodging right on site was amazing. We heard nothing but great things from our guests, which we were not surprised about! We were also able to host a bonfire after our wedding reception and a farewell brunch the morning after. They made the whole weekend seemeless and stress free. It was the wedding of our dreams. I could cry happy tears just reliving and talking about the weekend. It was the perfect wedding weekend from start to finish being surrounded by our family and friends and having the best venue we could have imagined. They have gained some lifetime visitors from us and we can not wait to go back for a visit!

The wedding was a glorious event. The Ladies & the staff are unbelievable. Friendly, helpful, & most importantly knowledgeable. They effortlessly help guide you through your decisions, then cheerfully see to the execution of your plans. Now for nuts & bolts. The food was FANTASTIC !! The service was FANTASTIC!! The venue & accommodations are not only unique but FANTASTIC !! Oh did I forget the scenic views, the lake, the photo ops, & don't forget the bar & grill, that place is right on! Don't think twice, you will LOVE it. Enjoy & Cheers

Lisa was wonderful to work with day of, and she helped communicate with the vendors and kept everything on schedule. Some highlights of our day were the horse and carriage, cabins for guests, the bonfire, and the farewell breakfast. It truly did feel like a whole wedding weekend, since many people stayed onsite and attended the farewell breakfast. We appreciated all of the time we had to decorate the space to make it feel unique to us, although it's beautiful on its own. We could not have been happier with the staff, food, venue itself, or experience here and highly recommend The Lodges!

The post-wedding bonfire on the property was a great way to unwind after the big event. We got a lot of compliments from others about the venue and the service. Lodges are so friendly and helpful. Even at the date night in March, staff constantly checked on us and made sure we knew that we wouldn't have to worry about anything on the day of the wedding. The venue is gorgeous and we had such happy wedding guests! Would highly recommend and can't wait to go back to visit!

The Lodges hosted a food tasting/preferred vendor night combo approximately 6 months before my wedding, which made it incredibly easy for us to find the vendors we still needed (bakers, hair/makeup, DJ), and all of the vendors they recommended were wonderful as well. The staff was very professional, kind, and helpful. We specifically worked with Beth Senseney for organization/planning up to the day of the event, and Lisa Leonard who was our day-of coordinator. Both Beth and Lisa were great, and I would recommend the Lodges to every couple looking for their fairytale wedding venue.

Everything was beyond perfect. All the guests said they never had food so good as well. I honestly can't think of anything that I would have changed. Highly recommended.

I highly recommend booking a farewell breakfast if possible. It was another highlight of the weekend as everyone could relax and enjoy another meal after a busy wedding day. There were also lots of options to personalize the space, menu, decor, etc., some of which are including in the pricing which is great!

we would have forgotten on our own. We were able to plan a perfect day within our budget without sacrificing details. Everything down to the food was excellent. We would absolutely choose this venue over and over. We were treated like family not just people that were guests for the day.

Our day of coordinator Matia was an actual dream. She made sure our day moved along smoothly and was so attentive and had a calming presence, she is a ROCKSTAR! The bridal suite on site was really beautiful & has a great vibe for photos to be taken. I was also blown away at how quiet that area of the Lodge was on the big day, thus making the morning of feel more relaxed and not so chaotic. The entire staff of the Lodges cares about you and cares about your day, making sure you AND your guests have everything they need. Their accommodations are top notch, and all of our guests couldn’t stop raving about the venue and how beautiful it was and how attentive & kind the staff were.
